A/N: Hello again readers. I hope you have enjoyed the story so far because it's only going to get better. I know this chapter is short, but I have been busy this week with college stuff. As always, reviews, comments, and suggestions are welcome.
"What are they planning?" Misaki wondered.
"Whatever it is, we're in big trouble if they succeed." I said.
"We can wonder what it is later. Right now, we need to get to Celestic Town." Ryota added.
The three of us took out our flying types. Clair rode with me as we used Fly to warp to Celestic Town instantly. Before that, a powerful quake shook the ground. We were now even more worried about Team Reaper's plans. The sight that we found when we got there was terrifying.
"What happened here?" Misaki gasped.
The town was completely trashed. Even worse, the ruins that were supposed to be in the center of the town were gone and replaced by a crater. When we looked into the sky, our situation seemed even worse. The temple was floating midair. Its structure had changed and now looked like a floating castle.
"What IS that?!" I stared.
"Team Reaper's latest weapon." said a voice behind us. We turned around to see Riley.
"Riley! What are you doing here?" Misaki asked.
"He's here to stop Team Reaper, just like the rest of us." another voice appeared. We turned to see Cheryl.
"If Team Reaper uses that thing, they'll be unstoppable. We need to take that thing down." Riley said.
Riley went on to explain the plan. We had a large number of trainers with us so we might be able to force our way into the castle on flying pokemon. It wasn't the greatest idea, but it was the best we had. We were planning to attack in ten minutes.
"I'll catch up with you guys in a sec. I need to do something." Misaki said, running off. She came back just before we were about to start the attack. "Sorry." she said. "I had to switch up my team for this."
"I didn't know you had a seventh pokemon." Clair said.
"I got it recently. I felt like I would need it for this fight." Misaki explained.
Everyone got ready with their flying pokemon. Clair and I rode on my Starraptor. Misaki was on her Altaria. Ryota had a Honchcrow. Cheryl was on a Tropius. Riley was in the front of the group with a Skarmory.
"Alright everyone. This is where we take down Team Reaper once and for all!" Riley yelled. In response, we all let out a deafening roar of agreement. We all took off and charged at the giant floating castle. As we closed in, several dots appeared out of the castle, flying our way. It was a giant swarm of Golbat.
"Hold on tight Clair." I warned her. She wrapped her arms around my waist as the Golbat horde got closer. I maneuvered my Starraptor through the horde, evadiding the huge fangs of the pokemon. Several Golbat began to chase after us, but they were quickly taken out by a flash cannon attack from Riley's Skarmory.
"We'll keep these things busy!" Riley called out. "You, Ryota, and Misaki need to go and take out the fortress! Hurry up and go!"
I gave a nod and took off towards the castle. Misaki and Ryota soon showed up behind me. "Looks like it's up to us again." Misaki grinned.
"Try to keep up Misaki. It's annoying to have you hold us back." Ryota smirked.
"Oh shut up Ryota!" Misaki replied.
We flew over the castle and descended onto a platform. When we entered the castle, three hallways presented themselves in front of us.
"Guess we're splitting up." I said. "Ryota, take the right. Misaki, go left. Clair and I will enter the middle one." The three of us nodded and headed our separate ways.
