Christian

Where should I sit? Where do I put my hands? I should put them in my pockets. No that makes me look too nervous….but you are nervous aren't you? Maybe I should put them at my sides? This makes me look like I am waiting for a drug test result. Okay stand up. Pace. Yup this is the best that I can do right now. This makes me look too nervous again.

I sit down again. I tap my feet. Okay this works.

I look up and down the path way of the park. I think I should have been a bit more specific about where exactly to meet her. Maybe I should text her? Or was this just a bad idea. What would I tell her anyways? Oh I meant come to the one bench in a sea of a hundred benches.

I look to my right and finally she is coming into view. She is dressed in slacks and a blouse. A powder top blue that shows off her eyes and sensible flats. When she is a couple feet away I wonder if I should get up and greet her. A hug? Kiss on the cheek? Grovel at her feet? I feel like I should be doing a combination of all of them.

"Hello Christian" she looks just as confused but she gets the look of determination and punches me in the arm and then gives me a familial hug. Okay mixed signals. Although I must admit that the hug felt really good. I haven't been touched in five years. I couldn't stand it. She is the only touch I have ever wanted.

"Hi Ana, can I ask what is with you hitting me?" I rub my arm. Jesus she has a really good arm.

"You deserve it after what you said to me. I just don't want to go to jail for battery, so I have decided to hit you once every time I see you. Spread out the pain you A-hole." She is said with a happy smile.

"Oh well I guess I deserve it." Well I will take it if it means that I am going to get to see her again after this.

"Yes you do. So what did you want to talk about Christian?" she sat down. I walked back to the bench and sat next to her.

"This is kind of hard for me to get out." I said while looking at the ground. I didn't know how to start this whole thing.

"Well let's start from the beginning. I am done for the day so I have nothing but time for your excuses." She said.

Excuses?

"No I don't have excuses but explanations for why I did what I did." She looked skeptical but in all honesty was always the best policy.

I went on to explain everything. From my fear of failing my employees, to being like my mother and then ultimately Morton being a threat to her safety. By the time I was done I felt relieved but I honestly don't know if she will believe me or even forgive me.

"So let me get this straight. You felt all of this and didn't think that sharing this decision with your wife would have been a good idea?" she was mad and rightfully so. I know I deserved her anger.

"I needed to protect you. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you and it would have been my fault." I felt my eyes watering.

"You didn't think I would have wanted to help you?" she looked flushed. The blush in her cheeks always made me happy.

"I know you would have but at the time his threat was real. Plus I needed to work on making sure all of those people who worked with me wouldn't lose their jobs. I was young and stupid so please would you see that?" I needed her to see my side of the story.

"I can see. But that doesn't stop me from thinking that you were stupid for hurting me and for putting me through that." She said while clutching her hands.

"I know. So what have you been doing the past five years?" I was genuinely curious. I resisted the urge to look her up during those years.

"Oh you know the normal college experience." She said

"Oh" sex, drugs and sex. Parties, phrat guys and sex.

"Oh jeez Christian" she was laughing at me. What is so funny?

"Why are you laughing at me?" I asked.

"I could see you going through the worst scenarios from college. Honestly Christian I was a nerd in college." She laughed

"Oh well that is…nice" more like a relief.

*ring ring*

I pull out my phone and see a 911 message from Ros.

"Crap I have an emergency at the office. I don't want this to end though… would you mind coming in with me? Just sitting in the office with me, we can talk in between mundane stuff." I am feeling my addiction grow by the minute. Having her here does things to me.

She thinks about it.

She nods.

"Great! Let's go." I instinctively reach out my hand and when I think she wouldn't take it she surprised me and did take hold of my hand but continued to look forward. My little Ana at my side again.

We walk over to my building and I hold open the door for her. I grab hold of her hand again and walk us over to the elevator bay. Everyone is looking at us. No one has ever seen me with a woman. My security looks confused and the front desk secretary looks like she just ate a lemon. By the time we make it to my floor. Andrea and my new intern Olivia look up at me with surprise.

"Andrea send Ros a message and tell her she can come in my office now." I walk past them and take Ana to my office.

"Well this is it." I say when I close the door behind us.

"Looks a bit sparse and not personal what's so ever." She said with a sad smile.

"Yeah I only have one personal thing in here but it's in the drawer." I walk over to my top drawer and pull out our graduation picture. The frame may be a bit beat up but the picture was of the two of us. Happy in that one moment.

She held it and smiled. "Why isn't it on the top of your desk like normal pictures?"

"The last time this was on the top of my desk Morton threatened you. I couldn't risk my now more current enemies hurting you." I put it back in its place. And showed her to the corner couch and she merely melted into it.

"Comfy" she commented.

"I actually made that couch you know?" I said with a smile.

"Oh really? Still putting the skills my dad taught you to good use?" Yes all the good things that were given to me were from the Steele family.

"Yes this one I always wanted here. Can you guess why?" The looks closer and I think she noticed the color and the fabric.

"Christian are these my sheets?!" she said and jumped up to look at them better.

"HAHAHA yes they are." I couldn't help the booming laugh coming out of me.

"I KNEW SOME OF MY STUFF WENT MISSING!" She laughed out.

"Yes while the couch fits perfectly into my impersonal office. This means that you were always showcased here. Not many people have gotten the privilege to sit on it." I move over towards my desk. I sit on the desk chair and start doing my tedious work and look over at Ana filling out paper work.

"What are you doing?" I am just trying to distract myself from work and how good it is to finally have her here.

"I accepted an editing job for SIP and need to fill out my insurance and HR paper work." She said over her folder. She is wearing reading glasses. If this isn't a hot for teacher moment I don't know what is.

I simply nod to control myself and get back to work.

"So this deal in Taiwan is going to take some time so we have the meeting room ready in five minutes…"Rose walks into my office just ready for business.

She slows down when she turns and sees Ana there in the corner.

"Okay a meeting in five minutes. Anything else Ros?" I want her to stop wondering who Ana is.

"Yeah the Taiwanese are actually here though." What?!

"When did they get here?" Why did they need to be here in person?

"Ten minutes ago. They want to see who they are getting into a contract with and something about wanting to get the scope of who this Mr. Grey is. Also are you going to tell me who this attractive woman is in your office or do have to introduce myself?" she said with a smile.

Ana stands and goes to shake Ros' hand.

"Hi I am Ana"

"Ros" she nods.

"Ros, Ana." I think it's time to break a little of this mystery.

"Ros let me be the first to introduce you to my wife Ana. Ana this is Ros, she is the right hand in this place." I see Ros freeze in shock.

"When did you get married? Me and my wife weren't even invited Grey that is low." She says with a sarcastic laugh.

"Oh we have been married for years." Ana says with a smile. I guess she was having a good laugh.

"What?" she looked confused

"Yeah Ana and I are going on six years now. Didn't you wonder about my never attending functions with a date? Well it's alright you never asked me if I was married. It was just an over cite on your part." Yes Grey, blame it on Ros for never asking me if I was indeed married.

The three of us drifted off into the meeting and the deal closed.

"Ros if you could keep meeting Ana to yourself. I want to be the one to introduce my wife to everyone and it wouldn't help security if suddenly the gossip around here skyrocketed" I say low while filing out of the room.

"Fine Grey but I want details." She walks off to her office and it was the end of my day.

I reach out for Ana's hand. "Would you like to come over to my place for dinner?"

"Sure." Is all she said

We collect our things from my office. We take the elevator down to see Taylor waiting by the SUV. The look of shock on his face is priceless.

"Sir"

Ana and I enjoy a quiet ride to Escala and a very tense elevator ride to my penthouse. I could just feel her everywhere in there. Her smell and her heat. The doors open and we both take a collective deep breath and walk off.

Gail starts when she sees Ana. I have never had guests here, ever.

Her professionalism takes over after a minute.

"Sir I am sorry for not preparing a meal for you tonight, your schedule said that you wouldn't be home until later on in the evening. I could prepare something if you like?" she says

"You have a cook?" Ana says with a laugh

"Hey all I know how to cook is meat loaf!" I say with a laugh also

"I am sorry; umm what is your name Miss?" Ana asks to Gail.

"Oh I am sorry. Gail this is Ana, Ana this is Gail my house keeper." They shake hands.

"Oh and as for Christian's meal tonight, me and him will take care of that. You can have the night off." Ana says with a smile. Wait…what? "Christian will be cooking him own meal tonight."

Gail looks at me in shock. Now Taylor joins the party. Standing by the back wall all quiet.

"Umm Miss. Ana he really can't cook." Gail grimaces.

"Oh no worries. I will show him what to do." Ana laughs. Oh I have sure put a foot in it, I am going to have to cook tonight, but this will be as fun as last time.

"Sir?" Gail looks uncertain and Taylor looks confused.

"Could you and Taylor sit at the counter for a minute for me please?" They do as requested while Ana looks in the fridge.

"BLTs!" Is all she said while setting up what we are going to need to begin cooking. I signal for her to stand next to me.

"Okay there is something you and Taylor need to know. This is Anastasia Steele." Ana goes on to shake their hands. "And she is my wife." Their faces were priceless.

"Oh and I am so sorry for hitting you in the nose Taylor. I didn't know you were security for Christian at the time." Ana cut in. she is always so polite.

Taylor

He is married? I knew he was a lonely crazy paranoid territorial boss but I never knew he was married. He never mentioned anything and then suddenly some girl slugs him in the jaw and hits me in the nose. This very appealing young woman standing before me, telling HIM what to do but not in a tyrannical way but a loving way…

The same way Gail talks to me.

"Umm for security purposes how long have you been married?" did they elope under my nose?

"We are going on six years." He says.

"Whaaa…." I am at a loss for words.

Gail looks like someone has just told her she won the lottery. She has tears in her eyes. She always believed that he was lonely.

"And you guys never saw each other because..." I leave the rest to be determined.

"He was being an Ass hole!" Anastasia said while chopping lettuce.

She is feisty.

Ana gestures as me and Gail with her knife and I am not sure what that means.

"Gail, Taylor would you like to join us for dinner?" Did he just say something nice?

"Yes" Gail responds immediately. "I will start the bacon."

"Oh no Gail take a rest. Christian will do that. Come on Christian I showed you how to make this in your small apartment." Christian jumps to it and they are walking around the kitchen like they have been doing this for years.

I look at Gail and she lifts her hands in an "I have no idea gesture" but smiles anyways.

Christian

We finish a quiet dinner and it was a bit odd eating with the staff.

Ana always changes things.

I and she do the dishes and I quickly dry the dishes while she sits on the couch. I walk over to her and see that she is fast asleep. I didn't want to wake her.

I lift her up and take her to my bedroom. I take off her shoes and pull a large shirt over her clothes. I in zip her skip and undo her top while her still being covered up by my shirt. I didn't want to over step my bounds. I tucked her in and I quickly changed as well. It has been years since I have gotten a good night's sleep.

I watch her sleep for a couple minutes and scoot over to her and rest my body flush with hers and I feel home.

I close my eyes and drift.

Ana

I open my eyes and see only darkness and I wonder where I am. My eyes focus and see a clock telling me it's two in the morning.

Christians house.

I turn and realize I am being held by him in bed. I look down and see I am wearing one of his shirts. Oh déjà vu.

How did I get here?

How did this happen?

Oh right…Christian.

I rest back against him and he tightens his hold as always. I love being in his arms but he did hurt me really bad. We need to talk more…but for right now I am just going to enjoy it before it become painful.

Please review!

How should their next day be?

Oh and did you notice taylors pov? Thanks to Phantasma'sRose for the suggestion

Ooooh I see an intervention in the future!

Oh and sorry for the late post. I was babysitting a 9, 4 and 1 ½ year old. My patience was going way too thin. I swear this is the best and worse time to be an aunt. The worst because I am not used to that chaos but the best because I love them AND I CAN GIVE THEM BACK AT THE END OF THE NIGHT! You mothers deserve an award for patience.
