I feel like I need to make this announcement for all of the readers who have been following this story since I first published it several years ago. It's been a long time since I updated this story and with reason. I did not write this story as well as I could have. I rushed headlong into writing fanfiction because I was excited to start writing and I had a great many ideas for this story. And I got a bit too excited after a good start and things began to get away from me. I was inexperienced as a writer and I made some plot decisions I regret deeply as well as some very poor writing. Which is why I decided earlier this month to officially discontinue Naruto: The Jinchuuriki Mercenary.
I realized a bit too late that I didn't make this announcement when I should have. That was an oversight on my part as I was caught up with my newest projects. I have been spending some great deal of time working on honing my skills as an author and a storyteller. This time I've spent away from writing has helped me greatly and I have more confidence in my abilities. I've caught the writing bug once more and I'm so thrilled to be back at the keyboard, crafting stories for you all to enjoy.
For those of you who have been waiting for a new chapter of this story, I apologize as there won't be one. However one of the new projects that I have been working on, and am very excited about. I have taken the original story of Naruto: The Jinchuuriki Mercenary and revised, reworked and rewritten the story as you know it to put it more in keeping with my original vision of the story. The new story is called Jinchuuriki Mercenary: Redux and it can be found on my profile. I have just published the last of the revised chapters earlier today and will be posting a brand new chapter some time next month. I am intensely proud of the work I've done so far and I hope you will all join me as I give this story the proper attention it deserves. Thank you all for being there from the start...
