Chapter 7

Laura sat waiting around the fire as were all of the lycans they were nervous, some were whispering to themselves "Why do we wait why don't we go on and attack?"

Laura sighed and got up but Raze stopped her "Don't worry Lady Laurena, they won't leave without a signal or if you or me tell them to go. Why don't you rest, I'll keep watch."

Laura wanted to protest but then a dizziness spell went over her and she was out. At first it was peaceful we had won and the lycans were free and Laura was beside Sonja and Lucian. And then something amazing happened she was with Lucian and they were together and Sonja was fine with it.

But then it all fell to pieces, she was in a room Victor was up yelling out to the council of vampires "The accused has committed high treason against the coven! She has consorted with animals, she has abetted in their escape..."

Laura screamed out "No don't!" but no one could hear me Lucian was in chains and had silver on him Sonja was chained also dressed like a prisoner she must have saw me somehow and whispered "Get out of here..."

But then Sonja had turned to her father "I have saved this coven many of times!"

Her father yelled out something but then the coloman yelled out "You have killed your own kind! And you've commingled bloodlines, resulting in the thing germinating within you. Your past glory does not excuse your present guilt; neither does your station as a council member. The punishment for these crimes is death, how vote you?"

Lucian said "It's me you want don't harm her or the child."

The guards kicked him, Laura gasped out Sonja was pregnant, and she was sentenced to die. I heard the whole coven yell out guilty and they turned to Victor, Sonja said "Father please..."

He said guilty and Lucian yelled out "No! They dragged Sonja away also Lucian who yelled out "I'll kill you! All of you!" barring his lycan fangs eyes gold with anger.

Suddenly Laura was pulled out of it as she heard Sonja say to her "Help Lucian out please! Don't stay here any longer!"

Laura was pulled out and saw Raze and Sabas, who has stood by me and protected me along with Lucian, asked "Lady Laura are you alright?"

Laura shook herself and gasped for breath, was what she saw true did she a connection to Sonja? Was she right in the head? Laura saw that all of the lycans were waiting for her answer some looked concerned, others looked at her with hate she was a vampire now, because of that some turned their backs to her.

Laura said "I don't know, but I was in the throne room the vampires were having a trial Sonja was chained up and so was Lucian. They were on trial for treason to the coven and they were sentenced to death. I only hope this does not come to happen or is true."

Raze said trying to make his deep voice soothing and calm "Laura have you ever had this kind of visions before? Have they ever come true?"

Laura got up and he followed "One time it did, I saw some of new slaves coming in and the wolves attacking but I shook it off. But now I know this may be true we have to do something..."

Laura stopped mid sentenced and collapsed screaming bloody murder. She saw Sonja tied up in the sun room and Lucian saying over and over in a whisper "no...no Sonja look at me my love...don't look up. I will get us out of this."

Sonja said "I love you Lucian and I wish this will work out but...promise me one thing promise me you will get out of here and escape. And make sure to watch over laura," she glanced in my direction a sad look on her face but a small smile, she whispered out, "Watch over him my dear friend Laura. You have been so kind to me a real friend...my first, you were more then just a maid and a slave you my friend...my sister and I love you."

Laura tried to speak but she couldn't and Sonja turned back to Lucian as he spoke out in a horse whisper "I love you..."

Sonja gave a sad smile "And I love you...your face will not be here when this is all over will it?...goodbye my love...I love you so much," and then she looked up at the ceiling that was peeling back and the sunlight came streaming in.

She gave a quiet scream and Laura screamed along with her and Lucian who was yelling out "No! Sonja!" then he collapsed and turned over tears falling from his eyes Laura tried to move to him but then she came out of it.

Laura came to gasping and crying repeating over and over "She's dead my lady Sonja is dead and Victor killed her."

Raze came over "What is it my lady?"

Laura's eyes were filled with fire "Victor killed his own daughter and if it's a war Victor wants then we are going to give it to him."

Just then Laura heard the sound of hooves and looked over and saw a rider and saw once again that it was Luka and said "I'm looking for Laurena...Laura I have some news."

Laura stood up as some of the lycans tried to get to her she stopped them "Stop," then turned to Luka "I know what happed Sonja is dead."

Luka pulled her hood down "If your planning something you need to act as soon as the sun is fully down they will kill Lucian...this is the last time I help you...I thought I owe you this much for being there for Sonja."

And with that she was gone. Laura got up as soon as she heard the howls of mourning and knew it was Lucian so did the other she thinks. Raze saw Laura going up to the rock to get a better view and speaking to them all and helped her.

Laura stood up and said "Listen up!"

Some of the lycans turned but others didn't so Sabas yelled out "Listen up all of you! Laura is now in charge until Lucian is back!"

That shut the others up. Laura said "The time has come my brothers! To take back our freedom and the rest of the lycan race! No more shawl we have to deal with being slaves and listening to our masters! We are just as important and as strong as the vampires so why are we treated so different I ask you!"

The lycans yelled out "Yea! Fight back!"

Laura continued "So are you going to stand with us and take back our freedom or sit around and do nothing and wait for the vampires and death dealers to come up to us and force us back! Who will be my brothers?"

All the lycans yelled out and stood up eyes gold ready to attack. Raze helped her down and said "Lead the way my lady."

Laura got in front as the lycans made a path for her plus Raze and Sabas not far behind. Laura eyes flashed with fire her fangs were out she wanted blood the blood of the vampires who murdered her friend and took her life away from her.

She felt the anger of Lucian from here and she was rushing to help him get his revenge.

Sorry it took so long to update I had a lot to think of.
