Chapter 13

Laura glared at Selena, she understood why she did what she did, but she would not be held prison by these creatures again. Not when her and Lucian were just free for about 300 or so years now.

"I have nothing to say to you or your kind, so sit me free now; I don't want to hurt you. I understand why you do what you do."

Selene's eyes turned intense blue and her fangs became known in her mouth "You do not understand me at all, that was not for you to see, and why do you want to go back to the lycans anyway. There not like us and you will end up dead just like my family was."

Laura sighed and decided that just like Sonja, Selene was not going to budge or move for anything. So Laura got the idea to just tell about who Michael was but not about the plan or Lucian...she would never tell about her Lucian.

"You know the tales of the Corvinus brother's one werewolf and the other vampire. And the third is human."

Selene snorted and said "Tales nothing more than that about a third brother."

"The sons of the Corvinus clan are real. One bitten by bat, one by wolf... one to walk the lonely road of mortality as a human. His name Alexander Corvinus, and we have found the direct descendent named Michael Corvin. His line will unite the blood of both vampire and lycan alike."

Selene eyes flashed "This will not happen," she grabbed Laura and dragged her outside of the mansion, "You will help me find Michael, and will stop this."

Laura smiled and thought 'this is exactly what I want to happen; now Lucian can track me and set me free.'

Laura was thrown into the car and Selene turned towards her "You will explain to Michael what you just said to me."

Selene somehow or another found the location of Michael Corvin. Selene cornered him and tried to explain his bloodline to him but he wouldn't listen about lycans or vampires, until he saw me and remembered the lycans that attacked him.

Laura sensed the lycans near and smiled; Selene saw this and said "You know something tell me what you know!"

Just then 4 of Lucian loyal lycans descended on us: Taylor, Raze, Sabas, and Xristo. Raze saw Selene holding me against the wall and started to tear into her but Selene got out silver and started to shoot at him, Laura yelled out "No! You leave us alone!"

Michael saw this and tried to help Selene for some reason, stabbing Raze. Raze saw the look on Laura's face and he let go, once he did he looked at Laura again waiting on insturctions. She nodded and he left and gave out a howl and recognized as help mostly for Lucian, Laura gasped and whispered "No."

Sabas held Selene down and Taylor had Michael cornered. Like lighting Lucian appeared and Selene whispered "It can't be."

Lucian nodded to Raze who also held Selene down. Lucian came up to Laura and held her face up to look her over "Are you alright my Laurena, they didn't hurt you?"

Laura nodded no "They didn't even notice I was there, I know how to blend in...only this woman," she pointed to Selene, "Held me captive to get information...I didn't tell her about you or the plan."

Lucian nodded and kissed the top of her head then nodded to Xrisco to come near Laura. But Selene broke free with the new silver bullets knocking out Taylor; Selene grabbed Michael and yelled to him "Come with me quickly!"

Michael nodded and grabbed her hand but Lucian was faster and bit Michael in the neck digging his lycan teeth in deep injecting wolf venom into his system. The lycans moved in to attack again but Selene fired all her silver.

Laura stood up and knocked her brother's away and kept Lucian back, Lucian tried to stop her but Laura yelled out and looked at Lucian sadly "I won't let them hurt you or our pack, go! I will be alright my love."

Lucian tried to get to Laura but Raze and Sabas restrained him. Lucian yelled out "I will find you again Laurena! I will always find you!"

With that a van pulled up and carried the lycans away. Laura smiled sadly "I know my love; I know you will save me."

Selene quickly grabbed Michael who looked in pain as the blood of the lycan fussed with him. Selene glared at Laura and quickly grabbed them both and into the car, which drove to a safe house of hers.

Laura whispered "The plan is working...soon I will be free and so will the lycans."

Selene who didn't notice what I said turned to Michael and placed a rag over the bite mark and said "Whether you like it or not, you're in the middle of a war that has been raging for the better part of a thousand years. A blood feud between vampires and lycans. Werewolves."

Michael just stared at her, Laura noticed the confussed look but also saw an undertone of what she and Lucian has and what he had with Sonja. Michael answered "Huh?"

Selene looked away from him and answered "Consider yourself lucky. Most humans die within an hour after being bitten by a lycan or any immortal. The viruses we transmit are deadly."

Michael Corvin looked at Laura and she nodded to ask Selene the question that she asked so many years ago to both Sonja and Lucian both now she knew the answer. Michael asked "So... if you bit me, what happens? I become a vampire instead?"

Selene answered his question slowly in a sad but serious tone "No, you die!"

Michael didn't like that answer and laid back in his set as the transformation in the blood completed. Laura remembered hers into a vampire, it was painful and one day her revenge will be complete.

Right now Laura had to work out a plan to get Michael back to Lucian to complete the plan and away from Selene and the vampires.
