Ziva and Abby trailed down the stairs bickering which caused Gibbs to look up from his paper.

"Don't blame my daughter for keeping you up all night, you were actually talking to Tim on Skype so don't even go there with me today," Ziva said as she placed Antonia in her high chair.

"Actually she cried ALL night, Ziva!" Abby complained as she finished tying her hair in pigtails.

"How is that my fault? And since we're sharing I wish you wouldn't tie your hair like that, it's childish!"

"Like you said she's your daughter and you can leave my hair out of this, Little Miss Dragged through a hedge backward!"

"Girls," Jenny scowled as she made breakfast.

Identical apologises filled the room.

"Morning dad," Ziva smiled kissed Gibbs' cheek and moved on to Jenny, "Morning mum."

Abby ignored morning pleasantries and through herself down in her seat and watched with a raised eyebrow as Jenny inspected Ziva's outfit of white skinny jeans, a cute green blouse and brown ankle boots.

"Gorgeous," Jenny grinned before turning to her younger daughter with a disapproving look.

Abby looked down at herself dressed in old jeans with a hole in the knee that was caused by wear and not out of design, Gibbs' old red hoodie and some black all-star converses.

"Honey, you're a good looking girl, you shouldn't hide behind old jeans and baggy t-shirts," Jenny said untying Abby's hair and re-tying it neatly.

"Jen, have you seen the length of the skirts she wears to school, we're just going for a walk, leave her be," Gibbs said as his wife went back to fussing over breakfast.

"OK, well Ziva and I are heading out in an hour, so if you're not ready by then remember to lock up," Jenny said.

"Got it," Gibbs nodded to his wife and watched as she headed up to get ready.

Gibbs watched as his daughters stared at each other.

"Dragged through a hedge backwards? Really Abby?"

"You look fine, Zee," Abby rolled her eyes at her sister as Ziva looked down at her outfit while smoothing down her hair.

...

"This is cute," Jenny said as she held up a pale blue dress.

"It is," Ziva nodded in agreement.

"This would look good with those heels you brought a while back," Jenny said as she put it in the basket with the rest of the things they had liked.

"We don't do this enough," Ziva smiled.

"I agree," Jenny said as she linked her arm through Ziva's.

"Do you think Toni is OK?" Ziva mumbled this was by far the longest period of time she had spent away from her daughter.

"Which Tony?" Jenny laughed she knew how protective of her children she was when they were younger, she never raised Ziva from a baby but she definitely nurtured her.

"My daughter, mum I miss her so much," Ziva sighed

"Zee, if anything little Toni will be looking after your brother with Kate," Jenny laughed the statement had caused a small smile to form at the side of her oldest daughters mouth.

"How about we go grab something to eat then go collect my granddaughter?" The excitement which flashed across Ziva's face warmed Jenny's heart, she would suggest to Ziva that next time the brought the little one along to there girly time, and perhaps she would ask Abby along to it had been a while since the 3 of them had been shopping together, and Jenny wanted to buy them some new clothes without her overprotective husband there.

"I'd like that, I've enjoyed today but I've missed my little one," Ziva

...

Abby and Gibbs walked at a slow pace through the park as Jethro ran a head diving into any water he could find.

"How's school?" Gibbs asked.

"Um...it's good," Abby replied as she shoved her hands deeper into her pockets with an awkward expression painted on her face.

"Abbs?" Gibbs said softly to his youngest.

"Hmm?"

"Princess, we need to talk, I miss my Abbs," Gibbs sighed.

"There's nothing to talk about Dad, I'm still the same person." Abby did not want to enter this conversation with her father, she missed him deeply, the time they would sit happily in silence together or when she would talk a mile a minute and he would simply listen to every detail and laugh. What Abby had failed to realise there was tears running down her face.

"I miss you too, its just Ziva and Tony need you more than me at the minute with Ziva having Antonia and Kate being pregnant, I don't want you stressed any more than you are," Abby mumbled into her fathers chest as he held her tightly to him.

"Abby you are my Baby, and I love you, your brother and sister are grown up to some extent, but they will always need me, but right here, right now your my main priority, I truly love you baby girl."

"I love you too Daddy, but we've lost Jethro," Abby giggled.

...

"Monday mornings are the worst! I am so bored!" Tony whined from his desk causing his wife to roll her eyes for the sixth time that morning.

"You've said that already," Kate sighed as she rubbed at her forehead trying to prevent a headache forming.

"That just proves my point!" Tony exclaimed chuckling when Kate smiled at him.

"Hmm," Kate grumbled in agreement.

"By the sound of things you hate Monday mornings as much as I do," Tony smirked which dropped as she stood and walked towards him with one eyebrow raised.

"I agree, Monday mornings suck but you aren't allowed to complain as you were not puking your guts up at 3am!"

"Oh C'mon, Babe, it'll be worth it in the end," Tony said softly as he wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his head on her stomach. Kate smiled despite herself and ran her fingers through his hair.

"Easy for you to say."

"Hey! I don't see much work going on in here!" Gibbs barked announcing his return, "Since you have nothing better to do, I have a suspect that needs bringing in."

The couple stood side by side as a man not much older than themselves answered the door, stepped out and shut it behind him.

"What do you want?" He muttered obviously having just rolled out of bed.

"Mr Burnley, I believe," Kate asked politely holding up her ID.

"I ain't done nothing!" Burnley glared.

"That's for us to decide," Tony glared back.

Burnley snarled and broke off into a run down the street.

"After him!" Tony and Kate took off after him, catching up after a few minutes at the top of a staircase leading into another building trying to break through a fire exit.

"Couldn't have done it the easy way?" Tony huffed out a breath as he held Burnley against the wall by the collar of his t-shirt as Kate move to handcuff him.

"What's taking so long?" Tony asked releasing his hold slightly to watch Kate struggle to get the cuffs to secure.

"I don't know," Kate glared down.

"Well times up," Burnley muttered as he span around and head butted Kate with so much force that she lost complete control of her balance, all Tony could do was watch as she fell backwards and tumbled down the flight of stairs.

"KATE!" He yelled as he pulled out his own handcuffs with shaking hands and cuffed Burnley to the railing a little to tightly.

Tony raced down the stairs taking them two at a time until he reached his wife laying in a heap at the bottom.

"Kate, Katie, baby, talk to me," Tony said cupping her face in his hands as he tried to ignore the blood running over his fingers from the wound on her forehead.
