Chapter 15

Laura drove off faster than the speed of light, she was on a mission to get Michael out and over to Lucian so that they can finish this war and win their freedom for real this time. Laura looked out the window and saw that Kraven was on the phone and herd him talking to one of the lycans about a plan to kill the vampire elder Amelia and her company.

Laura knew that Lucian would kill him in the end because of hurting her in the past, even though Laura had gotten over it Lucian still held that grudge about him touching his Laurena.

Laura heard the howls of the wild wolves and thought of the nights she had seen her lycan brothers under to full moon watching them act and hunt together, how she wished she felt that freedom but the was bind to the night and the ever presence hunger for blood never really feeling satisfy with anything, Lucian promised her that she would never have to feel that again.

Laura quickly made her way to the storage house, the guard let her right in, didn't even give her a second glance. But what Laura didn't suspect was that Selene was already there and was tying up Michael.

"Vampire and lycans have been at war for as long as I could think of, the lycans were once our slaves and daylight guarders but they rose up against us and killed off half our kind, now they want to use your blood line, the corvinus human blood line to create hybrids and rise up against us and permanently wipe out our kind...that will not happen so we have to keep you safe."

Michael just stared at her and quickly took his shackled hands and touched her face "But if it's true what you told me they'll kill you for helping me."

Selene looked at him sadly and backed away "I know they will but if it means I have saved you it's worth it," she then turned to Laura in the corner and nodded for her to ender, "It's safer for you to be chained up because it's a full moon and we can't risk you harming anyone...I will free you in the morning."

With that Selene turned to Laura "I trust that you will stay in here and guard him, I'll stay outside until morning."

Laura nodded this was perfect but she needed to knock out Michael before he transformed he didn't know the rule not to hurt Laura. The door was shut and Michael struggled "Let me out I don't like this one bit...Selene is going to ruin her life."

Laura nodded and quickly walked in the corner, there on the table she picked up silver that was used to subdue lycans that were captured. She recognized it because Lucian told her what it looked like. "This will knock you out and I will bring you somewhere where you will be safe," said Laura.

Laura was about to do that when she heard more howls and then banging on the door, Michael growled out and said said "Release me!"

But it was too late the lycans stormed in and they saw Laura and said "Lady Laurena."

Laura nodded to Sabas and Raze and then the doctor Singe "I got him...he shouldn't be difficult."

They shook their head and Raze said "Lucian said to get you and don't let you out of our sight...it's time for you to come home with us."

Laura sighed and quickly knocked Michael out; and Raze and Sabas grabbed him and they walked out of the storage unit...but Selene ambushed them and shot at them all. "What are we going to do...she's not going to give up on Michael."

Raze said "I have a plan..."but he didn't finish because Selene grabbed Singe.

Laura quickly pushed to car full on speed and said "We stick to Lucian plan...we have Michael and we continue on without the doctor."

Sabas nodded "Yes, Lucian always has a plan and with you with us we will be unstoppable."
