Chapter 21

Laura woke up with whispers in her ears "Wake up Laura, you and Lucian are in danger, wake up and save them."

Laura woke up at Sonja's request, and saw that there was a horrible sounds of yelling and bat wings. She knew that it was Marcus, she yelled out "Everybody up we need to get a move on."

Lucian woke up eyes gold and fangs of a vampire/lycan out "What is it my love?"

"Marcus is here."

With that they were in action, Lucian said "I'll get the vehicle ready."

With that Laura separated from Lucian she ran to Selene's and Michael's room and knocked on the door "Selene whatever your doing stop we need to get a move on now!"

Selene opened the door gun out "Ready when you are, we need to go visit someone, a vampire who can help us."

"What is it?"

"A pendant that is in my family I don't know why they want it but we need to figure out why. I'm having flashbacks but I don't know what they mean of my childhood."

They heard bat wings bursting open the doors but Laura, Selene, and Michael was already gone by the time he entered.

As they got to the vehicle and drove away Laura asked "Who is this person?"

"His name is Andreas Tanis, you were alive back then both of you. Do you remember him?"

Laura nodded so did Lucian "Yes, he sort of helped Lucian and all of the lycans escape that day so long ago."

Hours Later

Tanis was just how Laura and Lucian remembered still trying to survive by any means necessary and he was not happy to see any of them. But Sonja made him talk out "You owe us one...then we will leave you alone."

"Fine I will."

"Marcus was the first vampire; one of the three sons of Alexander Corvinus, the first immortal. Marcus was bitten by a bat and became a vampire; his twin brother William was bitten by a wolf and became a werewolf. The third son remained human and gave rise to a line of descendants including Michael," he said gesturing towards Michael who was squeezing Selene's hand, "Who became the first Lycan–Vampire hybrid. The first werewolves created by William were entirely animal and unable to assume human form. Due to William's destructiveness, Marcus approached Viktor, who was a dying warlord at the time, and offered to turn him and his army into immortal vampires in exchange for tracking down and stopping William, and in destroying those he had infected. Viktor did not kill the brothers because he was deceived by Marcus into believing that doing so would result in the immediate extinction of all other vampires and his Lycan slaves." He said gesturing at the slave part at Lucian.

Lucian growled at that and was about to attack but Laura stopped him "Not now my love, we need him."

"Your father was the architect who built William's prison and that the pendant is a key to the latter. Viktor killed your family Selene as they knew the prison's location, but turned you into a vampire."

Selene looked down at that part and Laura put a hand on her shoulder knowing the pain of losing her family and her village. Tanis then got up and nodded towards the door "Go to Macaro for help."

They left after that but Laura turned around "Thank you for your help."

As they got in their car and drove away Laura felt herself drift away and then got a vision of Tanis dying as Marcus drank his blood to get the location of where Selene was. Laura wrapped herself around Lucian and tears slipped out of her eyes. Lucian asked "What is it my love?"

Laura just shook her head "Nothing my love, nothing at all."

She couldn't tell him what she was seeing and what was going to meet them there, it would happen anyway. "We just need to get this done and quick."

Thank you for all of the reviews they have really helped in the direction that I'm heading in. Sorry for the long wait I had a lot to think about the direction I'm heading in.
