Chapter 24: Her first love
Seasons went by just as fast as time did. Months had passed away, with good and bad moments. With crying and smiling, villains and hero's. Taylor thought about all the things which had passed lately. She remembered the moment when Belle almost hit the town line due to their dad forcing her, how she almost broke up with Rumple. But they were a couple based on true love, some things never flee. And then that last memory, when the library first opened its doors. Taylor couldn't be more happy. But what now? The Evil Queen wasn't that evil anymore, and everyone lived in peace for a brief moment.
Taylor unlocked the doors of the library, she and Belle took care of the place. And today, Taylor was allowed to run the library by herself. Her black velvet heels clicked against the wooden floor briefly as she walked. Her little dark blue dress fitted her body perfectly, and her soft curls fell just over her shoulders.
She picked up the left over books from the desk, and placed them into a bookshelf which was placed against the wall. Her mind was focused on the various places for the books in her hand and her back was to the entrance, that's why she never heard the door to the entrance creep open quietly and soft footsteps approach her.
So out of nowhere, someone came behind her and shoved a hand over her mouth so she could not scream despite her intentions. She froze as she felt a cool metal being pressed to her temple, willing her to turn around. And so she did, slowly for Taylor didn't want to make any sudden movements in fear of the gun being fired.
It was then that she saw everything, the man who was holding her at gunpoint dropped the weapon on the floor right away. The two of them looked into each other's eyes, the young girls eyes glinting with fear and a shock-ridden glow. The man with a regretful pain in his eyes.
"Taylor…." He said, almost in a whisper. He couldn't believe what he saw in front of him.
"Hello Killian." Taylor said, her voice full of disbelieve.
"I thought…" but he was interrupted by the lady.
"You thought I was Belle, right?"
"Aye…"
"Let's forget about what happened a few minutes earlier, how can you ever be here? I've searched for you, for a lifetime." The brunette said, biting her lip directly after.
"The Save Haven worked, and I couldn't leave anymore. Ogres terrorised the land and magic beans where nowhere to be found."
"Is this real? Because it might be my imagination." Taylor replied, and the girl's tears fell over her rosy cheeks.
He laughed slightly, "No it isn't your imagination Taylor French Allingswood." He came closer to her, and placed his hands on her shoulder, "This is real, I am real…"
And the young man came closer to her, and almost touched her lips… "You would never say that." Taylor whispered in his ear, taking a step back.
"What?"
"You would never say my full name, only if it is in danger. You're not Killian." Taylor said, wiping her tears away.
"Oh congratulations, I guess you have caught me…" he said before he disappeared into a purple mist, turning into an older woman.
"Who the bloody hell are you?" Taylor said as she pressed herself into the corner.
"You'll find out later on." And the woman blew a kind of dust on the young lady, as Taylor fell down to the ground in a sleep. "That was easy." And they both disappeared.
She woke up in this little cabin, of a ship, she thought? Shit, it was Killian's ship. But this time for real. The only thing she could see was a grid just on top of her. She felt a rope around her wrists, holding them together. And a rag around her jaw which covered her mouth. How was she ever gonna get out of this? She slowly rolled of the bench she lay on, and of course there had to be a lot of junk under the bench. However she couldn't pick up anything with her hands, she had to slide everything underneath it with her legs, which were tied too, of course.
And then she found this little piece of glass, freeing herself by cutting through the rope, and getting the hell out of that thing. The young lady walked as silent as she could to the deck, already descending the stairs to get back to the dock.
"Taylor?" she heard someone saying.
She turned around, "Don't touch me. I don't know what you want from me but you should know Rumple is going to get me soon if you hurt me."
"What are you talking about? What are you doing here?."
Taylor laughed sarcastically, "Funny, really funny. You're just the same pathetic woman again."
"Cora you mean? Taylor please believe me, I didn't even know you were here." And he noticed the blood streaming from her wrist, "You're bleeding…" he said as he came closer.
"Don't you dare come any closer! I told you to stay away." And she turned around to walk off the ship as soon as possible.
"Hey, Miss A!" he yelled.
She directly stopped walking and turning around, "You…" Taylor rushed over to the young man, knowing it was him. She flew into his arms, as he held her tight.
"What happened?" he said, softly grabbing her wrist.
"That older woman, Cora you said…" she looked down while continuing, "She pretended to be you, and I almost believed her.
"She took you here?"
"Can you think of anyone else? Yes, of course she did."
"Hey I'm just trying to help darling. Come on, we're gonna get you home."
And he walked her back home, crossing the big main street. But she never made it to home, as they got interrupted by the civilians of Storybrooke.
"What the hell are you doing here." Emma yelled as Killian turned around.
"Bringing the young lady home, miss Swan."
"It's okay Emma, he won't bring any harm." Taylor stood next to him, the love of her life. But he seemed to be different. This special look in his eyes made him look like he went to Storybrooke for a different goal than meeting Taylor.
Emma slowly stepped in the way of Killian "Don't blow it Hook." And he gestured a gentle nod.
