Chapter 26: The Kidnapping

Paige's POV-

I was in school walking the hallway thinking about the dance that will be two weeks away. Hanna had forbidden me to tell Emily what I was going to wear and she had apparently said the same thing to Emily, we were not even allowed to give each other hints.

Hanna sure likes to control others relations, how can Caleb stand her that's one thing that's beyond me.

Hanna had told me that she was furious with Caleb because he hadn't asked her out. He had just assumed that they were going together since they were a couple. Hanna was mad at Caleb and refused to tell him why thinking he would figure it out in his own.

As I kept walking, suddenly I heard some screaming and slamming, so I started to run in that direction. The sounds were getting louder and I could tell by the screams that I was getting closer. I ran around a corner and that's where I saw it. Aria is fighting with Mona again.

Aria was holding Mona by her collar and slammed her against a locker. I had to stop it before one of them killed the others, this fight was too intense to stop anytime soon.

I ran up to Aria and pulled her away from Mona. As I pull Aria off of Mona I feel Mona's fist connecting with my jaw, for being so short she is a hard hitter.

The punch hurt so much that I wanted to rub my jaw, but if I did that I would have to let go of Aria and that wouldn't end well for her or Mona.

As I pull Aria to make sure she doesn't attack Mona, but Mona runs up to us and throws a punch towards Aria but instead she is hitting my arm, it hurt like hell, is that girl wearing brass knuckles?

"MONA BACK OFF!" I yell to Mona.

She stares angrily at me and says "Why are you defending her? She is together with Mr. Fitz!"

"I already know that." I said calmly and Mona looked shocked at us.

"Are you telling me it doesn't bother you that Aria is sleeping with Mr. Fitz or as Aria calls him Ezra?" Mona says mockingly making Aria trying to attack her but I got a tight grip around Aria's waist so how much she struggled she didn't get out of my grip.

Spencer and Toby appears in the hallway and runs up to Aria and me.

"What's going on?" Spencer asks as Aria growls and tries to break my grip around her.

"Aria and Mona were fighting and I'm trying to keep them from killing each other." I say as I feel that I'm starting to lose my grip.

"Tobias! A little help here!" I yell and Toby holds Aria's arms so she won't be able to break my grip.

"What's wrong Aria? Need your friends as an excuse to get out of another fight?" Mona says tauntingly to Aria.

Spencer turns to Mona and gives her one of her death glares and Mona walks away, hopefully we won't have to keep track on her to make sure she won't start another fight with Aria again.

We let go of Aria and left Spencer talking to Aria to make sure that Aria won't run after Mona.

"Do you think Spencer will be able to Calm Aria down?" I asked Toby.

"I don't know. I've never seen Aria that angry before, but I know that she'll make sure that Mona won't try to attack Aria again." Toby answered.

We parted ways in the hallway since Toby had another class and I had to meet Emily outside of the parking lot.

I went to the parking lot to meet Emily. I was early so I waited by her car. As I waited I saw a girl having problems with her car. I walked up to her and asked if she needed any kelp. She accepted. I leaned forward to check under the hood when I suddenly felt a rag covering my mouth and nose. I tried to fight the rag off my face but I got very tired suddenly, it must have been chloroformed on that rag. I kept fighting but everything got black before I had any chance to fight it off.

When I woke up I was on my knees with a bag over my head and my hands were tied behind my back.

Suddenly someone pulled the bag off my head and I could see that there were five other girls that was my size, my built and had the same hair color, they were all very much like me but not exactly my doppelgangers but very close matches. We were sitting in a line right next to each other like we were about to get executed.

There was some of A's henchmen in the room all armed with automatic weapons aiming at all of us.

Then this woman walked up in front of all of us, she was wearing a thigh leather suit with a mask that was shaped like a cats face and she had an evil smirk on her face as she walked back and forward in front of each one of us.

"My name is Catwoman, I'm one of A's lieutenants and much more importantly I'm going to be the one that killed Batgirl." She said as she eyed us up, I wasn't sure what she was looking for.

"I've watched over everyone at the school and I know that one of you are Batgirl. You all have the same body shape and hair color and you are all in the same athletic shape like her." She said as she looked into the eyes of the first one of us.

"Hmm. You're not her." Catwoman said and grabbed the girls face. "You're too afraid to be someone like Batgirl." Catwoman said as she lifted the girl up so she was standing on her feet.

She turned to all of us and said. "If the one that is Batgirl reveals herself the other girls will be spared. If she doesn't all will be killed." Then she broke the neck of the first girl and we all saw her falling to the floor completely lifeless.

"So what's it going to be Batgirl? Will you reveal yourself or will I have to kill all of the girls so there blood will be on your hands?" She said as she kicked the corpse of the dead girl.

I had no choice, I had to reveal my secret otherwise the other innocent girls would die.

"I..." I was just about to reveal my secret when suddenly one of the henchmen started to fire his weapon.

Catwoman jumped down a hatch in the floor and disappeared, but the other henchmen were firing back at our Savior who clearly was a good shoot.

He opened a door that we all escaped through as he shoots the last henchmen in the room. When we had walked into the room he moved some boxes in order to block the door behind us.

The man took off his mask revealing himself, he was Mr. Fitz he had just blown his cover in order to save us.

He walked up to me with his knife cutting off the ropes over my wrists. "Don't worry, I'll make sure that all of you will get out of here alive."

Suddenly an ear humming alarm started sounding.

"Crap! You guys must get out of here, I'll hold them off for as long as I can." Ezra said and grabbed his rifle ready to fight to the death.

We ran in the tunnel as fast as we could. We didn't bother to check behind us since we felt like A's henchmen were breathing down our necks.

We reached a ladder and started to climb it. Once we reached the top of the ladder there was a hatch blocking our escape. I pushed the hatch with all of my strength and finally it opened and I climbed to safety.

I was in the middle of the town, I looked around and saw that we had climbed out of a manhole. It was late at night so I was unconscious for longer than I had thought.

I helped the other girls up and called an ambulance to come and get them, they were all much traumatized.

I was worried about Mr. Fitz now that he was stuck down there in the sewers with Catwoman.

Next day at school:

I had just gotten to school worried about Mr. Fitz since I hadn't heard anything from him since he had told me and the other girls to run when we were in the sewers.

If he wouldn't show up at school that would mean that he didn't made it out of the sewers, no Paige don't think like that right now you need to focus on school and tonight I'll be Batgirl and find out what I can do about Catwoman.

I entered the Classroom with the rest of my class, I felt terrible from the events of last night. I sat down on my chair the one in front of Emily. A lady in her mid-30's walked in, that meant Ezra didn't make it home last night, I looked over to Aria and saw her starting to play with her ring. I know that sing it meant she was nervous. We looked at the front desk seeing the lady writing her name on the blackboard.

"Good morning Class I'm Miss Shepard and I'll be your teacher for the day." She says and walks towards the TV and tries to start it.

"Can someone help me with this?" She says as she tries to start the DVD. Caleb walks up and he adjusts the TV.

"Thank you. Now class today we're going to Watch a film about the industrial revolution and take notes it will be a test on this." she says as she starts the DVD, suddenly the video cuts showing a video that looks homemade.

There is a dark room that looks like a torture chamber. The camera turned and showed Mr. Fitz tied to a chair, He was gagged, I could tell that he had been badly beaten there was small Cuts all over his face and some he was bleeding from.

I Heard a voice coming from behind the camera, I could only assume that it was A.

"Well, well Batgirl, I found your mole." the voice said "You should be proud of him, he didn't say a word and he got really Deep inside my organization." the voice continued saying as the camera zoomed in on Mr. Fitz showing his cuts, some swelling and even some small scorch marks.

"You see I don't like being betrayed and that sort of behavior must be punished... by death" Then we heard a gunshot and saw a blood stain on Mr. Fitz white T-shirt and we heard him screaming even though he was gagged.

"When you fish your friends corpse from the river just remember this if you were dead, I wouldn't have to do that."

Mr. Fitz shakes his head and gets the gag off and says "Don't worry about me, I'll get through this just..." Then the film cuts.

Were all in shocks of what we just saw, Caleb was stunned, Spencer was speechless, Mona ran to the trash can and started throwing up, but Aria probably had it worse off all since she had seen the man that she loved being captured and doomed to certain death.

She ran out of the classroom crying loudly and Spencer, Hanna and Emily followed her out the hallway.

I wasn't sure if I should follow her since we weren't that close but after a few seconds I followed them into the hallway.

When I found Aria she was in a tight group hug from all her friends, I didn't know what to say so I stayed silent and just watched as they let Aria cry it out.

Spencer notice me and she comforted Aria by saying "He'll be saved, Batgirl will save him" not breaking eye contact with me and I nodded to Spencer letting her know that tonight we are going to save Mr. Fitz.

That night

Caleb and I was on the hunt trying to find were Mr. Fitz was.

"You know that no one that A has kidnapped has ever returned alive?" Caleb said to me over the Comm link.

"Well there is a first time for everything." I answered determined to find Mr. Fitz alive.

"Hey guys I found were the DVD was filmed, it was inside an apartment downtown." Oracle said over the Comm link.

"Are you sure? We don't have the luxury to go to the wrong place." I said over the Comm link.

"It has to be there it's where I found Ezra now that he has activated his tracer that you gave him." She answered.

"Gold star Oracle. Send us the location and we'll get there."

We arrived to the flat and we hurried inside to the fifth floor where the signal was coming from.

The room was filled with A's henchmen so we knew we had found the right place.

We ran towards the terrified henchmen and made quick waste to them.

"Oracle! Where is Mr. Fitz located?" I asked and I could hear Spencer hurriedly type and she said. "Sixth door on the second corridor!"

I knocked some people down on the way. Caleb probably kicked down someone, but I was too in a hurry to care.

I knocked the door down and found Ezra on the ground. Caleb stood outside and held his staff at the ready. I shook Mr. Fitz but he didn't stir. He was too still. I said "Ezra come on" He didn't answer. It felt odd using my teacher's first name.

I yelled "Do this for Aria come on!" I ripped the duct tape off of his mouth and did C.P.R.

"Is he breathing?" Caleb asked

"No!"

I heard a voice say "Batgirl?" I looked down and saw Mr. Fitz looking up at me.

"Dude you scared the crap out of me!"

Caleb cut the robes tying him together. I got Mr. Fitz up and he nearly collapsed.

I noticed his back was bleeding and asked" Did they whip you?"

Mr. Fitz grimaced and said" They did a lot of things."

I heard a voice that said" Well, well look who came to save their mole"

I looked up to see Catwoman without her mask. She had blond hair, blue eyes, and pale skin.

Mr. Fitz practically growled and said "Alison"

I asked "Who's Alison?"

Mr. Fitz just glared and said "a mistake"

Alison said "Well to me it wasn't"

I said "What you two were-"

Caleb finished "A thing?!"

Mr. Fitz said "Sadly"

Alison said" Well I was a whole lot better than the bitch you're dating! A student Ezra? Really?"

Ezra said "I'd rather get arrested than get back together with you!"

Alison said "Well I'll be upstairs taking care of THINGS after I'm finished with you" Mr. Fitz paled and it took me half a second to realized she was talking about Aria.

I heard Spender frantically call Aria.

Mr. Fitz said" If you lay one finger on her..."

I said" We'll beat your ass!"

Mr. Fitz looked at me and said" I wasn't going to say that but I'll take it.

Alison said" You're SO dead!" She then did a flip kick hitting Caleb, knocking him over, causing him to drop Ezra. Alison made a grab for him but I stopped her.

"ROBIN, GET EZRA TO SAFTEY! I'LL TAKE CARE OFF THIS CAT!" I yelled as I stood in front of Alison blocking her way to Mr. Fitz.

Alison laughed as she put her mask on. "Time for a cat fight." She said and then she jumped into the air and kicked towards my face, but I dodged the kick so she landed on the ground with her back turned to me.

"Good reflexes, but dodge this." She said as she turned around quickly and threw a knife towards me. That I caught with one hand.

"Tonight you'll pay for all you've killed." I said as I threw the knife on the ground.

I ran up to Catwoman and threw a right hook that she dodging by leaning backwards longer than I thought was possible.

Before I had time to react she threw a punch to my elbow, that hurts like hell so I pulled back my arm and instinctively started to rub my elbow.

Catwoman ran up to me and kicked towards my gut with her right foot, but I kicked the knee of her other leg making her fall on her face from the sudden lack of balance.

"I thought cats always landed on their feet" I said mockingly to her.

She jumped up and threw a punch that I blocked and then she slapped my face with her other hand. She was playing with me trying to piss me off, but I wouldn't fall for that trick.

I ran towards her threw a right hook that she blocked by gripping my arm, pressing it to her side so I couldn't move it. Before I had any time to react she had done the same thing with my left arm so I was stuck.

She smirked mockingly. "Well Well I look like the bat..." I cut her off with a head butt effectively shutting her up. I head butted her again so she lost her grip on my arms and I was free.

She looked at me and she was not in a good mood now.

"BITCH!" She yelled to me and then she dived towards me. I side stepped out of the way, but she must have landed on her feet because all of a sudden she was on my back and I felt a sharp pain in my neck.

I screamed from the pain and fell down to my knees.

She got of me and as I looked up I saw her licking her lips. That bitch had bitten my neck.

I heard Spencer say "Aria's not answering!"

"I'm a little busy here Oracle" I said over the Comm link.

I got back up and she did another one of her kicks, but this time I grabbed her ankle and swung her into a wall and then I lifted her up and punched her hard in her face over and over again until she was unable to fight back.

I flipped Alison over and knocked her out.

I walked out of the room and saw Mr. Fitz trying getting up but fell down. Caleb came to and helped him up.

Spencer said "Aria's missing" I repeated her words to the guys. Ezra said "they brought her in earlier today, she's the first door to the left"

I ran to the door and opened it. Aria was sitting down head in her knees. She looked up, saw Ezra, got up, and ran to him.

We all left and Ezra said" Well at least one good thing came out of this"

Aria said "And what was that?!" almost appalled.

Ezra smirked and said "I know who A is."
