Lazy Day

"Hey Bella. You need to wake up and have something to eat."

She groaned and rolled into my side. I stroked her hair as she lay an arm over my chest.

"It's half ten baby. Breakfast is here."

"Mmhhhmmm."

"You hungry baby?"

She nodded her head into my chest gently.

"How's the leg?"

Her head untucked from my shoulder and she looked up at me.

"Sore."

"I'm sorry baby. Come here."

Tilting her head upwards, I brought her lips to mine.

"Let's get some food inside of you then you can go back to sleep. We'll stay here tonight."

"Thanks honey."

I helped her sit up against the head board and brought her breakfast over to her, before grabbing mine. Once we were finished, Bella ran to the bathroom and threw up.

"I'm sorry baby."

"Looks like my morning sickness has caught up to me."

"It will be okay love. Let's get you back to bed."

"Thanks."

Pecking her lips, I carried her back to the bed and wrapped her up in my arms.

"Get some sleep baby. You look really tired."

"Mmhmmmm. Love you."

"I love you too baby."

She fell into a peaceful sleep in my arms. I held her all morning until I rang Esme.

"Esme?"

"Yes Edward?"

"I was just ringing to let you know Bella and I are going to stay here again tonight. She's really tired and there was a small problem with her leg last night. Don't worry though. Everything's alright now, Bella's just asleep."

"Okay Edward. What time do you think you'll be back tomorrow?"

"Around five. We're going to my mom's for lunch because it's the last time we'll see them before Christmas."

"That's fine son. Take care of Bella."

"I will. Thanks mom."

"See you tomorrow son."

"Bye mom."

I hung up and went down to the reception.

"Good morning Mr. Cullen. How can I help you?"

"I was wondering if I could stay another night. If the rooms not booked then I'd like to book it for tonight."

"That's fine Mr. Cullen. How's your wife?"

"She's fine thank you. Just a little tired."

"That's good. Is there anything else I can do for you?"

"No thank you."

"Just ring if you need anything, someone will be here at all times throughout the day."

"Thank you."

"Have a good Mr. Cullen."

"You too."

I made my way back up to Bella. Lying down with her, she twisted her leg up with mine. After wrapping her up in the comforter, I held her to me for the rest of the day.

She woke up in time for lunch but fell asleep again soon after. When she woke up again at around three, we lay together as she read Pride and prejudice to me. Her head on my shoulder, her glasses on, I couldn't help lowering my lips to hers and starting a long, slow kiss. I rolled us over so I was on top of her, our lips moving together.

"You have no idea how much I love your glasses."

"Why don't you try them on?"

"They wouldn't suit me. They look better on you."

I pulled her lips back to mine, kissing her slowly.

"Why don't you have another bath baby? It will help your legs. I'll get us some lunch."

"That would be nice."

"I'll go run the water."

"Thanks. I love you."

"I love you too."

I pecked her lips before pulling away. I ran a hot bubble bath for her and returned to the bedroom to see her looking through her back, only dressed in a robe. I walked up behind her and moved the hair off her shoulder. My lips went to the side of her neck as my arms wrapped around her waist.

"Baths ready baby."

She arched her back away from me as I sucked on her neck. A moan escaped her lips as I slipped my hands into her robe, rubbing circles on her baby bump. My arms crossed over her stomach as I pushed rough circles into her hips, loosening them up. Pressing my lips to her neck one last time, I turned her round, holding her robe open.

"Have a good bath baby. I'll be waiting for you."

"I love you Edward."

"I love you too baby."

I kissed her all over her body before allowing her to go into the bathroom. She closed the door behind her and I grabbed some money, ready to get some lunch. I knocked on the bathroom door.

"I'm going to get lunch baby."

"Okay honey. I'll see you later."

"See you later baby."

I put the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door handle and closed the door, heading off to get some lunch.

"Baby, I'm back."

"I'm in the bath."

"You still in there baby?"

"Yeah."

"Can I come in baby?"

"Of course."

Putting the lunch down, I went into the bathroom to see Bella, with her glasses on and a book in hand, bubbles surrounding her.

"You look really relaxed baby. Are your legs feeling any better?"

"Much. There's a slight pain but it's barely noticeable now. I want to try and move around more later."

"Okay baby. We'll go for a walk round the park after lunch if you want."

"Thanks honey. Do you want to get out now?"

"Not yet. I'm gonna stay here for a little longer. You can join me if you want."

"I'm good thanks baby. I'll wait in the bedroom for you."

"Okay. I won't be too much longer."

"Take all the time you want baby. We have nothing to do today."

"Thanks honey."

I pecked her lips and left the bathroom. I grabbed my laptop and sat on the middle of the bed. I found a lot of furniture for our new house and ordered it so it would all arrive on Tuesday. I planned on moving in on Wednesday as Christmas was Thursday.

"What are you doing Edward?"

"Some Christmas shopping."

"What are you getting?"

"Why would I tell you baby? It would ruin the surprise."

"You know I hate surprises."

"That's the point of Christmas though baby."

"I know. I guess I'll have to do my Christmas shopping soon."

"Why don't you see if Alice and Rose want to go with you on Tuesday? I've some things to sort out so will be out for most of the day. You haven't done anything with them for a while.

"I'll ask them tomorrow. I'd like to do something with them and I know Alice is dying to take me shopping some time. Plus I'll sort out what is happening with Eliza and Olly."

"They need to have the best Christmas this year and we'll make that happen."

"You'll be the most amazing momma ever."

"And you'll be the best daddy ever."

I closed the laptop over and pulled her onto my lap.

"You ready for lunch baby?"

"Yes. I'm starving. What you got?"

"I got some burgers and fries and a coke to share."

"Thanks honey."

"No problem baby."

We ate our lunch together, she'd put a chip in her mouth and kiss me, transferring the chip to me and I'd do the same. It was something different and new. Bella seemed to enjoy herself as she lengthened the kisses each time, sucking my bottom lip into her mouth. When we finished she pulled me to the bed, under her, her lips attacking mine.

"Thank you Edward. I love you."

Before I could respond, her lips attached back to mine. She pulled my shirt over my head and threw it somewhere across the room before her hands went to her top. I grabbed her hands and moved them away, pulling the top over her head for her. We made love before lying in each other's arms for a while.

We went on a walk round the park for an hour and then headed back to the hotel for dinner. After a nice meal we headed back to our room and Bella fell asleep almost instantly. I held her all night until I fell asleep as well.
