"Livvie...baby...you can't leave me like this," Fitz begs as he looked down at his stiff erection. His wife had woken him up with her warm mouth wrapped around his penis; the feeling was so incredible that Fitz thought he'd died and gone to heaven. Having had a taste of heaven, he was now in hell. She'd made sure to push him close to the edge but not over.
"I'm sorry, honey, I have to go and ensure that my son has orange juice to drink with his breakfast and not beer." She quipped with a salacious smile on her face. If he thought he would've gotten off the hook that easy, he had another thing coming.
Fitz rolled his eyes back when he felt her petite hands fisting him tightly. "I'm sorry, Livvie, I'll never give him beer again."
"Is that so?" She asked deviously while pumping him rapidly.
"Oh...God...yes, yes..."
Olivia laughs deeply and halts her movement.
With an index finger pointing at him, she warns sternly, "Good, because if you have my son sent to an AA program at 10 years old, we'll have a serious problem." Once she'd finished with her threat, she rose gracefully from the bed, leaving him high and dry.
"Livvie, get back here! You have work to do." He called after her retreating body as she made her way towards the en suite bathroom.
"Nope!" She counters over her shoulder with a sway of her hips before closing and locking the bathroom door behind her; knowing that he would follow after her if she didn't.
A few minutes later, Olivia was finished taking her morning shower. She pat dried her skin before applying lotion all over her body. Once her skincare regime was done, she threw on a short silk robe. Standing in front of the bathroom mirror she takes in her chest length curly hair, for some reason it wasn't appealing to her these days. She wanted to change it up and she had a feeling that she just will.
Opening the bathroom door, she very nearly had a heart attack when hands grabbed her right foot.
"FITZ!" She screamed.
Fitz laughed at her reaction. "Got you!"
Olivia playfully hits his arms and chest as she says, "you're so childish. You almost give me a damn heart attack."
Fitz holds onto her hands and brings her flush against his body in one smooth motion. "You started it, baby," he whispered against her lips.
Olivia rolled her eyes at him before allowing him to kiss her fully. It was easy to kiss him when his penis was poking her belly.
"Are you going to give me what I want? Hmm?" He nibbled on her lips as he takes a handful of her firm ass and squeezed it.
Olivia moans into his mouth, ready to hump him when a loud bang sounded at their bedroom door — thankfully it was locked.
They pulled apart groaning when they heard their kids calling for, "Mom" then "Dad."
"I guess we'll have to take a rain check," Fitz grunted his displeasure.
Olivia smirks at the frustration displayed on his handsome face before replying, "I guess so, but you know your hands work right?" She arches a questioning eyebrow at him.
Fitz shakes his head no before jesting, "Baby, these hands will only work when we do phone sex, not when the real deal is in the same location as me."
"Just go!" She feigns offense. "Shameless man," she muttered jokingly, laughing under hear breath as she walks towards the door. Securing her bathrobe around her body to hide her modesty, she opens the door to see about their children.
The day passed by leisurely; they swam in the pool and lounged lazily around the house. They regal tales of their time apart. When evening came they all got ready and went to the Christmas Eve service at Rick and Alexis' home church. They enjoyed an almost accurate depiction of the story of the birth of Jesus while they sang the famous Christmas song Silent Night. As the service dwindle down, they all raised their glow sticks that were given to them at the beginning of the service into the air, singing Joy to the World.
Olivia looks around and takes in the effervescent glow of the sticks as it brightens the darkness around them. She takes in her family's peaceful presence, feeling truly blessed to have them. Lovingly she squeezes her husband's hand and he reciprocates the gesture by intertwining their fingers as they continued to sing. She was blessed...
Later that night after the kids were finally down, Fitz and Olivia packed out the gifts underneath the Christmas tree that they'd had shipped to Florida for them, along with the gifts for everyone else. When they were finished, they bid Rick and Alexis a good night before heading up to their room.
Once nightly routines were finished, they piled onto the queen bed. In a spooning position they exhaled all of the day's stress and settle for tranquility.
Olivia watches the wall as she listens to Fitz' rhythmic breathing, it was so soothing that she could pinpoint the exact moment when he'd fallen asleep.
She was kept awake by her wandering mind. Mentally she made a checklist of the things she needed to do. She thought of Samantha and made a mental note to call her in the morning. She thought about the speaking engagement that was coming up in the next 3 weeks at the Seattle University. She mentally catalogued her wardrobe she was planning on taking with her. Even though her baby bump was visible through tight fitted clothing, she always wore loosely fitted ones in public. The media was already speculating if a new Grant was on the horizon, but just like in the past, they neither confirm nor deny it — they simply let her body do its talking in its own time.
Her mind travelled to Fitz' upcoming tour and the need to find a tutor for the kids. The school had offered them a somewhat extensive list of options to choose from. It was just a matter of finding the right one who was willing to be away for two months.
After much mind reeling, her eyelids finally grew heavy and give way to sleep.
Fitz was woken up from the sound of whimpers escaping his wife's lips. Confused by the cry like sound, he turns on the bedside lamp. He found her with hands clutched to her stomach protectively as she cried softly in her sleep.
"Liv?" He gently touches her arms, worried that something was wrong. No response was given.
"Olivia!" He calls a little more forcefully as he squeezes her forearm again, shaking her slightly to jostle her out of sleep.
After not getting any response Fitz scoots his body close to hers, and pulls her flush against him, while calling out her name like a mantra.
After a few long seconds she wakes up disoriented, and croaks, "Fitz, Fitz."
"Are you feeling ok?" Fitz immediately asked in a panic stricken voice.
Olivia takes a few deep breaths to calm her racing heart before replying, "Yes. I just had a bad dream."
"Oh baby," he squeezed his arms tighter around her as if to absorb all of the negative energy from her body and transfer it to his.
Olivia slowly relaxes in his arms from the soothing thump of his heartbeat. A few minutes goes by and no one says anything.
"I dreamt I was having another miscarriage..." Olivia whispered into his chest.
Fitz runs a palm soothingly up and down her right arm. "You and the baby are fine. Dr. Rawlins said that at our last doctor visit. Are you sure you're feeling ok? Do we need to go the hospital?" Fitz implored as he continued to softly caress her skin.
"I'm sure." She lets out a deep breath before continuing to speak. "A couple of nights ago I dreamt of the miscarriage I had in Spain. I don't know why I dreamt it but I guess it's a part of me that will never die. It may've only been a fetus but it was our child, and when I remember that moment it makes me sad that we never got a chance to meet him or her." Olivia didn't realized that she was crying until Fitz started wiping the tears falling from her eyes.
"I'm sorry baby, I'm sorry that you had to go through that all alone. I should've been there and maybe it wouldn't have ever happened." Fitz still felt that he was mostly responsible for that incident in their life, even though she told him countless of times that he wasn't.
"Fitz, it's not your fault, please stop. It just felt so real…"
Fitz' fingers continued to caress her skin soothingly and it calmed both of them.
In a faraway mindset, Olivia says, "Life is full of mysteries and unanswered questions. Sometimes it makes no sense at the time, but when you look back I believe that there is always a bigger plan."
"I concur."
Silence fell like a blanket of warmth, giving them peace in the midst of grief. They both accepted that their unborn child would always be a part of them even if in memories.
Fitz looks at the clock on the bedside table, it was close to 6 in the morning. An idea comes to mind and he asks her, "Would you like to watch the sunrise with me?"
Olivia smiles and quickly agrees, loving that he remembered how much peace the magical sunrise gives.
The two got up from their bed and quickly got dressed in some warm apparel. Olivia donned one of Fitz' hoodie with yoga pants and a pair of Toms on her feet. Once they were finished dressing, they quietly snuck to the garage for a beach blanket before sneaking out the house. They held hands as they made their way to the beach that was a mere ten minutes' walk away.
By the time they'd arrived at the location the faint glow of the sun's impending presence was bouncing off the crystal blue water top. Fitz spreads the blanket on the beach before slipping off his shoes and settling towards the back of it. Olivia follows suit and sits between his legs as he wraps his arms protectively around her.
"Remember our world tour?" She asked smiling as the sun slowly begins to peak through the horizon.
Fitz also smiles at the memory. "Of course I do. We had a great time in Egypt."
"And Greece."
"Don't forget Finland."
"Mmm mmm," Olivia murmurs contentedly, smiling as she remembered the fun memories of them on those trips. "We'll probably be retired before we get a chance to do that again," she quipped.
Fitz laughs lightly because it's probably true. "Livvie, are you already counting down the time for our kids to leave the nest?"
Olivia giggles and shakes her head no before replying, "with the rate we're going," she points to her stomach, "time keeps getting reset."
Fitz continued to laugh as he adds, "With the rate Tommy's going, we'll always have a child at home. Mother's boy."
"Hey! Don't be a hater now!"
"Still can't believe he snitched on me," Fitz shakes his head in disbelief.
"It was funny how he said, beer. He gave me beer."
Both of them erupted into a new set of giggles as they recalled the moment with their little comedian.
While laughing, she declares, "We have some pretty awesome kids."
"That we do Mrs. Grant. That we do." His voice so full of love and adoration caresses her neck.
Silence ensued as they intently watches the rising sun; by now it was hovering over the horizon. Olivia mentally chastised herself for not walking with her phone to snap a few pictures. She still had the passion for photography within her.
"I love you baby. Merry Christmas." She turns her head to look into his blue eyes that matches the color of the ocean. God, how can I fall more deeply in love with him? She asks herself. Looking at him ten years later and he'd never failed to make her heartbeat rapidly.
Fitz brings his head down and connects his lips to hers in a sweet, soul stirring, finger tingling kiss. Pulling apart, he replies, "I love you too, Mrs. Grant and thank you for being the best Christmas gift every year. Merry Christmas, sweetie." Unable to resist the pull of her pillow soft lips that was a few inches away from his, he reconnects their mouths again.
By the time Olivia and Fitz had returned to the house the excited voices of their children could be heard.
"Where were you? We've been looking all over." Iya bombarded them with questions as soon as they entered through the front door.
Fitz holds up the beach blanket in his hands as if that was a good enough of an answer.
"Without me!" She shrieked. She loved the beach and swam like a fish, just like her mother. She had hopes to even join the swim team at school.
"We can go later in the day," Olivia offers as a pacification.
"Yes!" Iya screams excitedly, throwing her hands in the air.
Tommy came barreling through the room at lightning speed. Before either of his parents could chastise him for running he smiles widely at them and that's when they noticed that another one of his bottom tooth was missing.
"Look, my tooth fell out when I was brushing it." He tells them excitedly as he holds up the baby incisor proudly in his hand.
Olivia watches as his father gives him a hi5 in congratulation of his new milestone, meanwhile she sulked because her baby was growing up and she didn't like it.
Unlike other families with their traditional Christmas morning, theirs' are always different. Together they made breakfast and ate it before opening any presents. Olivia sat on Fitz' lap comfortably in one of the armchairs as they watched their kids excitedly ripped open their presents. They each got one fun toy while the other smaller gifts were educationally oriented. Lots of books and educational games. Some children may detest such gifts but not theirs, they love to learn, especially in a fun way.
"Oh my goodness," Alexis exclaims as she places an open palm on her chest. She was viewing the gift that Fitz and Olivia got her. "I get to spend an entire day cooking with my favorite world class chef?" She reeled excitedly in on breath causing everyone to laugh.
Olivia nods her head yes and her mother lost it.
"Grandma, you ok?" Tommy asked when he sees tear trickling down her face.
"Yes baby, Grandma is just so happy."
Tommy gets up from his spot on the ground and makes his way over to his grandmother and hugs her. Everyone except him sighed aww.
"That boy is going to have women eating out of his hands if he continues like this." Fitz whispers proudly into his wife's ear.
"Nope, I won't allow it. I'm the only woman for him."
"You're not going to be a cock-blocker for my son when he gets older," Fitz murmured so that only she could hear him.
Olivia throws her head back in rapture as laughter escapes her lips. Iya looks over at her parents curiously, shaking her head and smiling. She could never figure them out.
The gift giving celebration continued. Rick bestowed simple jewelries to everyone from his latest collection. Everyone laughed when he gave Tommy a pinky gold ring that matches his father's with a diamond encrusted G on it, while Olivia and Iya got the same emblem G as stud earrings, also diamond encrusted. However, he rolled out the red carpet for his wife when he took out a customized blue diamond and platinum necklace and earring set. It was spectacular and Alexis loved it. They all chorus aww when she gave him a chaste kiss to show her gratitude. Everyone else vocally expressed gratitude for his thoughtful gifts.
When it came down to Fitz' time to give his wife her gift, he gives her a small white box. She smiles at him before opening it. When she opened the box she finds two keys inside of it; one that looks like a house key and the other a car key.
"Kids, bring out the," Fitz cues them with a hand motion and they ran out the room to grab what their father was hinting at.
Olivia watched as they both returned with giant size homemade cards. She loved when they made her cards and these ones were huge.
"Merry Christmas, mommy," Tommy gives her his card first. She reads all of his barely legible writing on the front, and smiles with heartfelt gratitude at the picture he drew of their family. It was made even sweeter because of the baby bump he drew on her stick figure.
"Thanks baby," she hugs him with tears in her eyes. She couldn't blame this on hormones as she was truly touched by it. To see her family happy, healthy and loved are the most important gifts she could ask for.
"Open it," he urged her excitedly and she did. Inside of the card was a large picture of a brand new silver Mercedes Benz GL-Class SUV with the words underneath, "Mommy needs more cargo space."
Olivia laughed in spite of the tears running down her cheeks. She hugs her son again before turning to kiss his father. "Thank you, baby."
Fitz squeezes her tightly and lovingly before replying, "You're welcome."
Announcing herself, Iya says, "saved the best for last." Everyone laughed in reciprocation of her comment, leave it to her to make such a grand statement.
Olivia takes the card from her and smiles brightly at her creativeness. Where Tommy's was messy, hers' was very neat and glitter-full. Olivia reads the words she'd written on the front despite the tears clouding her eyes. "There's no other mother as great as you. Merry Christmas, Mom."
She hugs her to her side and kisses her cheek. "I love you sweetheart."
Iya smiled sweetly, "I know."
Satisfied that she knows, Olivia opens the card and gasps when she sees the familiar house that they'd stayed at during their Bahamas trip. It was a beautiful five bedroom and five baths beach house with an infinity pool. She'd jokingly told Fitz that she would love to own it so they can use it as a getaway destination anytime, but she had no idea that he would fulfill that promise two years later. She was speechless to say the least.
She looks at him for an explanation and he simply smirks at her.
"First of all, I'm sorry that it took me so long to give this to you. It was a very long process but a very necessary one. Anyways, I'll save you the boring details." He clears his throat before earnestly saying, "Livvie…this house is yours. All yours. Merry Christmas, baby." He kisses her lips softly, mindful of the watchful eyes on them.
"When can we go?" Iya asks excitedly. That place had created so many wonderful memories for their family over the two weeks they were there.
Olivia pondered thoughtfully before saying, "summertime."
"Woohoo!" She danced happily.
They moved on to Fitz and he also enjoyed the thoughtful gift that his children got him. They'd gotten him a DJI phantom series quadcopter drone with a GoPro camera on it, they can bet their last dollar that he'll be playing with it. He already recruited Tommy to step outside later to have a go at it in the backyard. In addition to his drone, he loved his private Krav Maga lessons that Olivia got him, he'd said in passing that we would love to learn it but now he just hopes that he has the time to take it. With sincere gratitude he thanks all of them.
After he'd finished hugging the kids, Olivia resumed her position on his lap and whispered in his ear, "By the way, your real present is upstairs. It was too racy for public viewing."
Fitz almost choked on his own saliva from her words.
"Let's go see it then," he suggested impatiently.
Olivia shakes her head no. She did a semi-nude photo-shoot before her bump was visible. She just knows that he's going to love it. The pictures were beautiful if she must say so herself; they weren't trashy naked photos, but elegantly feminine pictures that captures the beauty of her body as it exudes sexiness.
Fitz groans as his mind conjures up the raciest things he can think about.
"Down boy," Olivia hissed underneath her breath as she felt his penis hardening under her butt cheeks. He took deep calming breaths to cool himself down, luckily for them the kids were celebrating over the two motorized scooters that their grandmother gifted them; they had no time to notice their parents.
A little while later, they made FaceTime calls to Raye, Harrison, Chris and their temporary house guest, Rex, who was staying with them until they got back. Iya and Tommy smiles when they showed Rex on the camera and he barked incessantly at it. To them that means he misses them too. They were heartbroken when their parents suggested that Rex stay in NY, they didn't want to go through the hassle of putting him on a commercial flight.
After they'd finished speaking with the Wrights, they called up Janet and Big Jerry where they talked and laughed for close to an hour. This year they didn't escape to their vacation home in Florida but instead opted to stay in Long Island. The glow of their skins had them rethinking their choice of staying in the cold rather than trading it for some sunshine.
Olivia also called Samantha, Abby and Quinn, all of her good friends to wish them a Merry Christmas.
When all of that was finished, both Liv and Fitz excused themselves to their room. The kids were left playing with their toys underneath the supervision of their grandparents. As soon as they entered the bedroom, Olivia grabs the black box containing the six pictures and gives it to him.
Immediately his mouth grew watery when the lid was removed and he started shuffling through them.
"Baby, wow, this is so fucking sexy." He refers to the one with her wearing one of his ties with high stilettos and a pair of cheeky underwear as she sat on a chair. It was done in black and white to contrast against the light coming in from the right side.
Olivia blushes as she watches her husband's ears grow fiery red – a telltale sign that he was aroused; she blushes even more so because he was aroused from simply watching her pictures. It made her feel extremely beautiful that he desired her still. She was by far no model but he made her feel as though she was a super model.
"You like them?"
"Like? I fucking love them. I'm going to take these with me when I travel without you." He tells her passionately.
Olivia laughs and rolls onto her back to accommodate his body that was now hovering over hers.
Fitz cages her body with his, without fully resting his weight on top of her. Staring into her beautiful eyes, he says, "but you're going to need to tell me who else was in the room when KG photographed you?" He knew that Karen Gaston shot the photos based off of the water prints on them. He didn't mind that because he'd met her several times, she was a professional associate of Liv's.
Olivia shakes her head knowingly. It was only a matter of time his jealous side asked that question. "Why?" She asked, smirked in his face.
"I don't want people seeing what's mine." He kisses the corner of her mouth to place emphasis.
Olivia shakes her head and rolls her eyes at him. "Why do I know you so well? I knew you were going to say that." She gazes up into his eyes before finishing her statement sweetly. "You have nothing to worry about, husband, I know you and I respect you, it was only Karen and I in the room."
That earned her a passionate kiss from him. Her being submissive to him gives his ego a tremendous boost. Submissive in the sense that she loves and respects him enough that she would do things that pleases him with gladness. He never wants her to be weak or subservient to him, he truly adores her independent and strong spirit. Nevertheless, her respect and adoration makes him feel like a mighty man. To him it is true that behind him there's a great woman that helps him be a great man. With this mindset he was ready to make love to his wife, clothes were already cast aside when the incessant sound of an incoming mobile alert stopped them.
Fitz grabs the phone from the side table and flips it over to see who it was. Immediately, all of the fire and passion was drained out of his body when he read the text on his wife's phone.
Lying naked underneath him, Olivia became frustrated when he simply rolled off of her with her phone clutched in his hands.
Pushing herself up on her elbows, she asked, "What is it?" She didn't take it as anything at first when he grabbed her phone, they answered each other's phone all of the time, especially if they were closest to it.
Fitz quickly shows her the phone screen, she barely got to read it before he pulled it back. "Shit!" She mutters.
The message seemed innocent but the signature wasn't. It read:
Merry Christmas
*heart emoji* Quentin.
"Fitz what are you doing?" Olivia asked.
"What do you think? I'm calling that bastard."
"Fitz no, give me my phone." She stretches her hands to grab it but he pulls it away.
"Are you defending him?"
"No, no, don't turn this on me. Just ignore him." Olivia reasoned as this was the first time Quentin had texted her and she would be fine with pretending like it never happened. He'd probably kept her cellphone number from when she had her art show.
"Ignore him?" Fitz chuckles humorless. "I've been ignoring him and he's gone too far. We both know what men who're obsessed with you can do."
Olivia gasps, shocked that he would say that. "Right... so it's my fault that men don't know how to take a NO. I already dealt with Quentin. Since my words have no weight and they won't listen to me, you go ahead and speak on my behalf." She spoke sarcastically.
"You damn right I will!" Her words didn't deter Fitz from calling the unsaved number in his wife's phone. As soon as he heard Quentin's voice on the line, he made sure to expletively tell him that he nor his wife tolerates him texting her. There were some unwise moments where he made threats to him but he was angry so he digressed. How dare he send his wife text messages with heart icons!
By the time he'd ended the call Fitz made sure to block his number from her phone.
Olivia watches him with arms wrapped around her waist. "Are you satisfied now?" She asked with a tinge of attitude in her voice.
"As a matter-of-fact I am."
"You know each time you react to him this way, you give him what he wants. He's trying to get under your skin and it's clearly working. I told you to ignore it!"
"Would you have ignored it if it's some woman texting me or making snide remarks about me in your presence?"
"Women make snide remarks about you all the time in my presence. Hello, Mr. Hot this or Mr. Hot that." She quipped with an eye roll.
"Whatever Olivia. You're missing the point. The point is, he has no business texting you when it's clear to him that 1. You're not available, 2. You already told him so and 3. It's unprofessional and unethical of him to text you with fucking hearts. I would've given him a pass if it was just Merry Christmas but he had the audacity to fucking sign it with 'love Quentin.' Are you fucking kidding me? I won't be disrespected, and right now, him, sending you text messages like this is disrespecting me."
"Ok, whatever. You made your point. Let's drop it." Olivia got up unceremoniously from the bed. She wasn't in the mood to argue over pointless people. Quentin was a non-factor in her life, but apparently Fitz felt differently. She didn't had the energy to exhaust on talking about Quentin.
"Olivia, we're not finished talking because I don't think you understand how I'm feeling."
"Fitz, I heard you for the thousandth time. You handled it. It's handled. Forgive me if I don't want to talk about a man I couldn't muster up two cares for. I much rather go take a warm shower, and head downstairs to spend time with my mother, someone who I care a lot for and don't get to see regularly. That's what I'm going to do." With that she left the bedroom and retreated to the bathroom to do just as she said she would.
Fitz wasn't upset with her indifference towards Quentin, but he was upset that she didn't try to understand or empathize with his feelings. He'd been dealing with Quentin's passive aggression for too long and it pissed him off every time. When it came to his wife he literally looses all his shit.
A/N: Fitz got his punishment for giving Tommy beer. Blue balls is what you'll get for Christmas lol. FYI: Liv is not gonna have another miscarriage so don't worry about that. It's just the memory of "what if the child had born?" that plagues her. Hope you like their tender moment at the beach and also the Christmas gifts. A Bahamas house? I'll take that please. Don't sleep on Rick because he knows how to give good gifts to his woman too. Lol
Off to meatier stuffs, is Fitz right in calling Quentin or should he have just ignored him like Liv suggested? I can't wait to hear your thoughts on this, lol.
Thanks for reading and leaving those reviews that I loveeeee.
XOXO
