Chapter 37: One Monster Is Enough
A/N1: First off all, thank you to "Me A Genius" for the help, second as a post Easter treat I'll do two updates today (My time zone) so I hope you'll like this chapter.

Paige's Pov-
After that night with Emily everything got better, even if Batgirl wasn't as popular with the civilians of Rosewood I didn't care, because Batgirl's reputation would return somehow, I didn't know when, I didn't know how but I know that it would happen someday.
Even though the cops were looking for Batgirl and there was a huge reward for capturing her I didn't worry because I was the good one and I didn't plan on letting A win.
Now it was daytime so I visited Caleb at the hospital, when I got to his room I saw that Hanna was there, she was kissing Caleb very deeply.
"I'm missing you every second I'm not here" Hanna said as she kissed Caleb again, only softer this time.
"Enjoying the show Paige?" Hanna said as I closed the door.
"I didn't peep on you guys, I just did not want to disturb you." I said as I sat down on a chair on the other side of Caleb's bed.
"How did you get this badly injured?" Hanna asked.
"I've told you every time you get here Hanna, I got attacked by A's men on my way home from one off Paige's video game tournaments." Caleb said and it seemed like Hanna was buying it.
"I just don't believe that it has happened to you. I mean it happens a lot in this town, but you don't expect it to happen to anyone you know until it actually happens." Hanna said as she was fighting to hold back her tears.
"Don't cry baby. I'm alive and in a few more weeks I'll be out of here and then I'll spend more time together with you." Caleb said and Hanna kissed his forehead.
"I should probably leave you two lovebirds alone now, just don't try to have sex it will destroy the bed." I said as I was on my way out.
"PAIGE!" Hanna yelled and throw a pillow at me which I dodged.
"Goodbye you guys." I said as I walked out and closed the door behind me.
I went to a bar to see if I could find Mr. Fitz and hopefully he'd be sober for once.
It wasn't hard to find Mr. Fitz he was sitting at the Rosewood grill ordering a bottle of beer. Just as he was about to open it I walked up to him.
"Mr. Fitz." I said and sat down next to him.
"Paige." He responded raising her beer bottle.
"I didn't know they allowed alcohol this early in the day." I said nodding to his beer.
"It's 10:30 am." Was all he said as he opened his beer bottle?
"Listen! You were willing to endure torture to save me and some other girls from school and now you're just letting A win. You can either continue to drink until you feel better or you can put the beer down and show A that you're not letting anything that A does will break you!" I said since I was sure he wouldn't listen to anything I had to say so I could just cut to the chase and say what I wanted to say.
I got back up and as I left I noticed that Mr. Fitz just stared at his beer, I guess he listened to something that I said.
I went to the bat cave where I had my latest invention, it was an electroshock collar that I had specially designed for Bane, it was very powerful in theory, it would be strong enough to keep Bane down.
Bane had escaped prison a few days ago and I knew that I had to be prepared for our next fight since he had made it clear that he wanted to kill Batgirl, at least he didn't know that I was Batgirl so I didn't have to worry about him attacking my mansion anytime soon.
I was however worried that after Bane had escaped from the jail no one had seen him. How can a man in his size just disappear? Well no time to think about that now, I had to focus on finishing the collar so I would be able to take him out and make sure that he stayed down once I had defeated him.
"Are you Working hardly or hardly working?" I hear Emily's voice, I looked at the entrance and saw that she and Spencer was walking towards me.
"I just need to finish this thing so I can have a chance to defeat Bane." I said as I returned my focus to the collar.
"Are you sure that thing will work against Bane?" Spencer asked.
"I'll find out when I use it." I said.
"Do you want any help?" Emily asked.
"Yes, I'd like that." I answered and Emily helped me to finish the collar while Spencer checked the monitors for any signs off Bane or anything else that could be useful to know.
"There now it's done." I said after we finished the collar.
"Now I need to charge it, just thing needs a lot of power to work." I said as I connected a charging cable to the collar.
"So, do you want to hang out, it's still a long time until the night is falling?" I asked Emily.
"Yes that sounds great." Emily said.
Emily's Pov-
I was really happy that I would be able to spend the day with Paige since I sometimes worried that she would let the Batgirl stuff come before me, but Paige made it very clear that she'd always make time for me.
"Where are we going?" I asked as we put our jackets on.
"To an amusement park." Paige said and held the door open for me.
"I love amusement parks." I said as I went out and Paige went up right beside me and took my hand in hers.
We walked to the amusement park and once we got there Paige paid for our tickets despite that I was willing to buy my own.
We went in and saw all sort of things. "You wanna start with the tunnel of love?" Paige asked.
"Already looking for a reason to kiss me?" I asked.
"Like I ever need that." Paige said and gave me a peck on my lips.
We went to the tunnel of love and once we were in the tunnel we kissed each other, I didn't notice anything, but the slow music playing as I kissed Paige with deep passion.
I don't know why but it was impossible to keep my lips away from Paige during the entire trip through the tunnel of love.
"Hey Em, the ride is over we need to get out of the cart." Paige said and I looked up and saw a group of teenage boys staring at us.
"Can you two kiss each other like that again?" One of them asked while he held up his cell phone to film us kissing.
"We will it. If two of you kiss each other first." I said and winked to Paige who just shrugged to what I had said.
Then two of the guys actually kissed each other.
I didn't expect them to do it and neither did Paige, they didn't seem to like kissing each other since they looked like they were about to barf.
Once they broke the kiss they didn't seem to wait they just stared at us and said "Your turn." So I moved my hand to Paige's cheek and pulled her in for a deep passionate kiss, our tongues battled for dominance and we purposely made a few moans of pleasure until we stop kissing.
Then I looked over to the boys and they looked paralyzed. One of them was holding his cell phone really hard in his hand, like he was worried that he would lose it. After a few seconds some of them started to walk but one didn't move an inch, he looked like he had ejected in his pants while I was kissing Paige.
"Are you coming?" one of the boys said.
"I think he just did." I whispered into Paige's ear and we started to laugh as we left to go and see if we could get our pictures from the tunnel of love.
"Hey!" One boy yell after us. "Can we please have a threesome...?"
"No, I don't like to share, come on Paige let's leave" I said as I wrap my arm around Paige's waist. We went to see if we could see our picture from the tunnel of love.
We saw our picture but it was impossible to see our faces.
"So what do you want to ride now?" Paige asked me.
"Well, how about the Ferris wheel" I say and both me and Paige run to it, we were lucky, there was no line I sit down on the Ferris wheel's seats and I see Paige walking up to the guy controlling it and says something to him and he nods at Paige. Paige runs next to me and sits down and the Ferris wheel stars.
"What did you say to him?" I asked her.
"You'll see." Paige said as the Ferris wheel started to move and we enjoyed the ride.
"Come on Paige, tell me what you said to that guy." I said
"Nope" Paige answered and leaned back in the seat.
"Ok, well give me a hint." I say.
"Fine, when I talked to him I said one word that contained... letters" Paige said and smirked.
"Really funny Paige." I said sarcastic.
Then when the Ferris wheel reached the top it suddenly just stop.
"I told the guy to stop this thin when we were at the top and then I sneaked him 20 bucks." Paige said.
I looked at my amazing girlfriend and leaned in for one more passionate kiss.
We stayed high in the air kissing very deeply and we didn't care who was watching, we loved each other and nothing would make us think otherwise.
We continued to kiss until the Ferris wheel had reached the ground, then we went and went on some other rides and Paige even won a prize for me at a game of ring tossing. It was a blue stuffed elephant. Then we got dinner at the apple rose grille before we went back to Paige's mansion.
"Thank you for one of the best days ever." I said and gave Paige a soft kiss.
"For you anything" Paige said, then we walked inside the mansion to the bat cave, when suddenly my cell phone started to ring. It was Hanna I wondered what she wanted.
"Emily, its Hanna Please you have to get some help... he's going to kill me." I heard in the phone. I waved Paige to come and listed then I put Hanna on speaker.
"I'm down by the docks and there is a monster here... it's huge. Please Em call for help." I heard Hanna on the other end of the phone, she sounded exhausted and terrified.
"It's Bane." Paige said as she ran to put on her bat suit. In only a few seconds she was fully dressed and she jumped on her motor cycle and drove out of the bat cave as fast as she could.
"I hope she'll be ok." I said to Spencer.
"Well, she has stop Bane before and I know that she can do it again and this time she's got the collar that could stop Bane. It's fully charged and I put it in her motor cycle." Spencer said as she returned to the monitors.
Paige's Pov-
I drove to the docks were Hanna had said that she was. It didn't take me too long to get there and Oracle had packed the collar in the stealth bike so I was prepared to face Bane.
Once I reached the dock I saw Bane walking up to me. I got off my bike and stood face to face with the titan.
"I've been looking for you Batgirl." Bane said.
"You're going back to prison." I said and Bane just laughed.
"No, Batgirl this time... I... BREAK...YOU" Bane yelled.
He lifted his giant fist and slammed it into the ground breaking some asphalt
"First one was a warning." He said glaring at me.
I took that advantage and punched him right in his face, but the punch didn't seem to make any effect.
"STUPID BAT" Bane yelled and then he charged at me, but I jumped away so he missed me.
Bane turned around and then he tried to charge me again, I jumped aside and threw a bat rang that hit him right in his face so he lost his focus and ran right into a brick wall and even got stuck with his right fist.
I didn't waste any time I activated my power gloves and punched Bane in his face over and over again until the power ran out in my gloves. Bane broke free after a while and he lifted me up with one hand.
"I WILL CRUSH YOU LIKE A SODA CAN!" Bane yelled as he brought me closer to his face.
That's when I kicked him in his jaw so hi bite his tongue. He dropped me and screamed from the pain in his mouth, as he did that I jumped up on his back and cut of some off the tubes from the tank on his back only this time he didn't seem to shrink when the T-9 serum didn't get into his body.
Bane reached after me so I had no choice other than to jump off his back and continue to fight.
Bane charged me again but this time my power gloves were recharged so I activated them and jumped into the air to punch bane in his face. I hit him right between his eyes so he lost his focus and ran right into a crane and it fell down over him buried him under its weight.
I walked up to see if he was dead he suddenly he just jumped up from nowhere and hit me with a right hook that sent me flying to the ground. It felt like I had been hit by a train.
I slowly got back up and Bane lifted me with one hand and tossed me like a doll. I landed at the end of one of the bridges and Bane walked slowly towards me raising his fist to flatten me.
He was standing right next to me and just as he slammed his fist I rolled out of its way and ended up behind him, I kicked him in the back off his right knee so he lost his balance and fell off the bridge into the water.
I walked back to my bike when suddenly a hand grabbed me and lifted me into the air.
It was Bane "I WILL BREAK YOU" he shouted as he moved both his hands around my chest and squeezed has hard as he could. I noticed a truck behind him driving fast towards us, I said "No Bane, this time I'll break you." Then I kicked him in his face so he dropped me again then the truck rammed Bane knocking him unconscious.
The truck door opened and I couldn't believe my eyes, it was Ezra Fitz who exited the truck.
"What are you doing here?" I said.
"Someone gave me an advice earlier today," Mr. Fitz answered.
I went to get the collar when Hanna arrived and once she saw Bane she just stared at him.
I walked up to Hanna and said. "It's ok now, he won't wake up for a while."
Hanna stared at me and said. "What are you talking about?"
"Your friend Spencer called me and said that a monster was chasing you." I said and gestured to Bane.
"That wasn't the monster that was chasing me." Hanna said.
I was about to ask her what she was talking about when she suddenly yelled "THAT'S THE MONSTER THAT WAS CHASING ME!" I turned around and saw something that looked like a reptile version of Bane but he had smaller muscles, sharp claws on his fingers and really Sharp teeth.
"Hello Batgirl, I'm Killer Croc." the monster said.
Fuck, I had just fought Bane and now I had to face another titan sized monster, this wasn't my night.
Killer Croc growled before he charged at me like a torpedo, I just dodged his hand as he ran towards me.
"Ezra, Hanna get out of here!" I yelled and they started to run as I threw a bat rang that bounced off Killer Croc's scaly skin but at least now he would focus on me.
Killer Croc lifted a part from the smashed truck and threw it at me, I just dodged under in almost getting decapitated.
Croc charged again, but unlike Bane he stop right in front of me and he threw a left hook at me, I dodged it barley avoiding his short claws on his fingers.
I kicked him in his jaw but that hit hurt me more than it hurt him, this guy had really thick skin or well scale.
"You can shoot me with a shotgun it won't have any effect on me." Killer Croc said with a growl.
It must be something I can do to defeat this beast.
"Batgirl" I heard over the Comm link "Hanna is safe and she says that you're fighting Noel Khan." Oracle said.
"No! I'm fighting someone called Killer Croc." I said over the Comm link.
"Noel Khan is his real name, he was a guy with some sort of genetic mutation that made him look like that." Oracle explained.
"Oh, good to know, now how do I stop this thing? He is almost immune to punches." I said as I dodged another one of his hooks.
"I don't know, just stay alive and I'll contact you when I've figured something out." Oracle said.
Killer Croc growled as he threw another punch at me, but I ducked under his fist and ran up behind him where I kicked him in the back of his knee, but all he did was to turn around and smack me with the back of his hand so I fell to the ground.
"Tonight the croc will eat a bat!" Killer Croc roared as he walked up to me. He lifted me with both his hands and threw me away so I landed next to my stealth bike.
Croc moved in and slammed his fist to the ground in an attempt to crush me, but I rolled away at the last second and I kicked Killer Croc's left shoulder with no effect his scale was just too thick.
"Is that all you got?" Croc shouted as he grabbed me with his big hand lifting me of the ground.
"Well, no more playing with the food." Croc said as he opened his mouth to take a big bite out of me. At the last second I pressed down a bat rang in the mouth of him so he released me to spit it out.
"Batgirl, I think I got something. Try using the shock collar on Killer Croc." Oracle said over the Comm link.
It was worth a shot, I sprayed some explosive gel on my glove were my knuckles where and punched Croc in his jaw, once my fist connected with his face the gel detonated, Killer Croc was on his back, but he was slowly getting back up. I ran for my stealth bike to get the collar, once I was a few steps away from it I felt that the ground vibrated, Croc was back up and he charged towards me. I just reached the bike as Croc tackled me to the ground.
"Did you think it was over?" Croc said.
"No, but now it is." I said and putt the collar around Killer Croc's neck without him noticing it.
The collar gave him a shock that made him drop me to the ground and he screamed in pain as he got down on his knees.
"You think a toy collar can stop me?" He yelled and reached for the collar to break it, I threw a bat rang that hit the collar so he got another shock from it.
He stepped back until he was standing by the edge off the bridge. "This isn't over. We'll meet again and then I'll feast on your bones." Croc said before he dived in the water and disappeared.
"Oracle, Croc is gone but Bane is still here, call the police and have them come and get him." I said over the Comm link.
"Will do and Batgirl." Oracle answered back.
I looked at my glove and saw that the explosion had ruined it, I better throw this in the bat cave once I get back there.
I jumped on my stealth bike and drove home.
The next morning
I woke up in my bed, Emily was laying right next to me since she was worried when I had to fight Bane and then Killer Croc. I can't blame her for worrying, one monster was hard enough to fight alone and I had to battle two at the same night.
"Good morning Paige" Emily said and she kissed my forehead.
"Good morning to you to." I answered.
"You'll never believe this, Mr. Fitz called C. I. A and they brought up prof that Batgirl isn't one of A's allies. Paige your name is cleared." Emily said crying from joy.
"That's amazing I... I can't believe it." I said as I sat up in the bed.
"Believe it babe, you're declared as the towns' hero once again." Emily said and we kissed again. I love my life.
