Jamie's head cranked up to the sky when he heard sleigh bells overhead. A vibrant red sleight came down to them, did a small loop around before landing. North jumped out of the sleigh and stared at the chard woods, then scanned over them. His eyes stopped at Hiccup and Toothless. "What has happened—?"

Jack landed next to Jamie heavily as if he was Superman before North could end his question. Jamie's eyes bugged out of his head to see Katelynn in Jack's arms. The only color that showed in her face was the scrapes and bruises. "J-Jack…?"

"She's fine now but not for any moment longer." Jack answered shortly.

"What on earth happened here?" North asked, now able to finish his original question. His eyes were fixed on Hiccup and Toothless.

"Pitch happened…" Jack growled.

Rapunzel nodded. "He…separated us. The next thing we knew, Hiccup and Kate—" Tears started well back into her eyes. "Hiccup and Katelynn were in a fireball and got hurt." She twisted her hair in her fists. "I already tried to heal Hiccup and Toothless. I wasn't able to bring back their…"

"I understand now, you don't have to explain any further." North turned his attention to Jack. "How bout her?"

"Like I said, she'll be fine…for now. I think she's getting worse…her skin wasn't this pale when I found her."

North nodded and went to his sleigh. His reindeer's reins gripped into his hands. "Chronos would like to speak with you."

"Who?" Merida asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Chronos G. Reaper. He sent me here to get you. Here I am and here are you! All in one spot." North started digging into this coat's pocket as he continued, "So now we go—"

"Wait, what about me?" Jamie asked North. "Can I go? Where she goes, I go."

North thought for a second then made a short nod. "Dah, dah you can come along, Jamie. In fact, I think the problem rising now involves you and your friend."

Merida crossed her arms across her chest. "Where are we goin?"

North somewhat smirked. "To where time is created: the Tower!" He threw a snow globe at the ground; the portal sucked all of them in.

Jamie hesitantly opened his eyes and his mouth gaped open in awe. Around them was shining gold sand that swirled around them. Both the sun and moon was up, so it was neither night nor day. They orbited around the sky like the solar system. Ahead of the sea of gold sand was a magnificent, gothic-styled tall clock tower that shined in the sun's light and casted an eerie shadow where the pale moon light hit the tower. Then he blinked in confusion at the sudden familiarity of the tower. "Isn't that…Big Ben?"

North made a hardy laugh. "No, no! That is not Big Ben, Big Ben is in London. We are nowhere near London. This is what we Guardians call Tower of All Time but mortals call it the Hourglass of the Sands of Time." He shrugged. "How you got 'hourglass' from 'tower' has always been mystery. The other Guardians are waiting for us inside along with Chronos."

"Must be pretty big if yer gathering here instead of at yer place, North." said Merida.

"It is indeed big deal. Now come, they're waiting on us."

Inside of the Tower seemed larger than it did on the outside. It reminded Jamie of pictures of royal palaces, gold leaf bordering the walls and ceilings. Murals of quite…horrific scenes glared down upon them. Small, simple hourglasses to large granddaddy clocks were in every room. Rapunzel jumped when a loud bell tolled near them. Jamie felt someone push him to the side.

"Move it or lose it!" A tall figure in a dark blue robe with the hood up and embroidered with gold passed Jamie. The person went over to a large golden rope and pulled it roughly, making the bell stop its grim-like toll. North had cleared his throat to get the person's attention. The figure looked over to them. "Oh, 'ello!" It pulled off its robe and hung it near the golden rope. It was a man easily in his early thirties and had dark brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a black business suit over a white collared shirt, a silver skull with a black halo rested on his throat, as if the large ornament was a tie. The suit jacket had small white rectangles bordering the seams. His pants were white and wore black shoes with a steel spike ending the toes. A pocket watch dangled from his belt and he wore an hourglass necklace. A series of silver and black rings were on his fingers. He opened his arms wide. "North! I see you got the Four…and a couple mortal teenagers, a dragon, and a horse?" His voice hinted an Estuary accent. He shrugged. "Oh, well, the more the merrier, I guess. Welcome to my alamode, the Tower. Please don't touch any of the clocks or hourglasses unless you want to end up in a different time period. I'm your host Chronos Grimm Reaper, Father Time at your service."
