Chapter 40: Everything Will Change.

Emily's Pov-
I was on my way to Aria's house. Hearing that she wasn't under A's control was really good news and I was overjoyed to have my friend back.
I knocked on her door and Mrs. Montgomery opened.
"Hi Mrs. Montgomery, Is Aria home?" I asked her.
"Yes she is in her room with Ezra Fitz and the other girls. It's a good thing that you're here Emily she could really use all her friends now." Mrs. Montgomery said to me as she let me in.
I walked up to the stairs to Aria's room and opened her door. Aria was sitting on her bed, Spencer and Hanna was standing beside her and Mr. Fitz sat on a chair a bit away from the bed.
"Aria listen to us, it's not your fault." Spencer said.
"Yeah, you were braincleaned by A." Hanna said.
"Brainwashed." Spencer corrected.
"Spence let's focus on this now and then on my vocabulary." Hanna said.
"You do know that it's a teacher here." Spencer said and nodded to Mr. Fitz, then she noticed that I was in the room.
"Hi Em, we wondered when you were going to show up." Spencer said and all looked my way and nodded as a silent way to say hello.
"I just can believe all those horrible things I've done." Aria said.
"Aria listen, that wasn't you." Mr. Fitz said and walked up to her. "It was something A had done." He said and sat down next to her and she hugged him tightly.
"I can't believe I stabbed you and tried to choke you." Aria cried into Mr. Fitz shoulder. "I could have killed you Ezra, I could have killed anyone off you." Aria said sounding hysterical.
"Easy Aria, take long calm breaths." Mr. Fitz said as he rubbed her back to calm her down.
"Aria, we all love you and care about you, it doesn't matter what you did then, it wasn't you who did all those things." I said.
"But I was so good at what I did and I think I enjoyed some of them. Oh my god! I'm a monster!" Aria said.
"We know that you're not a monster, Aria." Spencer said.
"How can you be so sure about that? I could be a worse monster than A." Aria panicked.
"Trust me, you're not a monster." Mr. Fitz said.
"What makes you so sure off that?" Aria asked.
"Because Monsters doesn't worry about being monsters." Mr. Fitz answered.
Aria leaned into Mr. Fitz's arms and seemed to calm down. "Thank you guys, I love you all so mush." Aria said and then we all just sat there in silent until it was time to leave.
"Hey Em!" Hanna said after me as we left Aria's house.
"Yes Han, what is it?" I asked and turned to Hanna.
"Have you ever had a sex dream about Batgirl?" Hanna asked.
"Hanna I already have a girlfriend." I said trying to avoid the question.
"So, Paige doesn't have to know your dreams. Have you had a sex dream about Batgirl? Unmasking her and see who that mystery girl is?" Hanna asked again.
"No I haven't. Just because I'm gay it doesn't mean that I get turned on by every girl I see." I lied, since Paige was Batgirl I've had a few sex dream with her.
"You liar" Hanna said. "I can see that you're turning red. Come on Em, I won't tell Paige anything."
"Fine Hanna, I've had a sex dream about Batgirl." I said pretending to give up.
"I knew it." Hanna said and smiled. "Hey, maybe you should have Paige dressing up as Batgirl the next time you spend the night together." Hanna said and nudged my side.
"When did you turn into a dude?" I said, wondering about Hanna's behavior.
"Since Caleb dressed up like Robin last night when we 'celebrated' that he was written out of the hospital." Hanna said.
"Too much information Hanna." I said.
"Well don't ask if you don't want the answers, and I didn't turn into a dude I'm just curious." Hanna said and we parted ways to get home.
Paige's Pov-
I was walking around the park with Caleb and Toby and we talked about some off our embarrassing childhood moments.
"Ok, Caleb what is one off your most embarrassing moments." Toby said.
"One time when I was nine I tried to cut my own hair so I'd look like James Bond. So I took a pair of scissors and started to cut my hair." Caleb said.
"Wait you cut your own hair with a scissor?" I asked
"Yes" Caleb said annoyed. "I thought I just had to imagine what it would look like and that's how it would turn out." Caleb said.
"Anyway when my mom come in and saw me she panicked since I had a lot off bald patches around my head." Caleb said.
"Please tell me there are photos off that." Toby said
"No there isn't any." Caleb said.
"So the next morning she took me to her hairdresser but they couldn't style what was left so they shaved it all down." Caleb said and both me and Toby laughed until our sides started to hurt.
"Ok Paige, your turn, tell us one off your embarrassing stories." Caleb said.
"Ok the first time I kissed a girl... or well sort off kissed a girl was when I was 6." I said.
"Wow you really came out at a young age." Caleb said.
"No, it was before I knew I was gay." I said
"It was during a recess when I was playing tag with a bunch off girl in my class when suddenly this girl ran into m and we fell to the ground and our lips crashed into each other." I said and both Caleb and Toby started laugh.
"Ok Tobs, you're up." I said.
"Well, one time when I was at the park feeding turtles in a pond when suddenly one turtle swam up to me and stole my hat. I'm not kidding he just swiped it right off my head and dived down the pond with my hat in its mouth." Toby said
Me and Caleb were laughing, I laughed so hard that I had a hard time breathing.
"NO WAY TOBS, YOU WERE SLOWER THAN A TURTLE." I shouted as I struggled to breathe.
"Fine, laugh it up." Toby said.
I looked up when I was done laughing and then I saw someone a bit further ahead. It was a girl that was about 19 years old, she had brown hair and blue eyes and was about my height. It took me a while before I remembered where I've seen her before.
I walk up to her and she looks at me and says "Paige?"
I look at her and say "Irina."
"It's been a long time" Irina said
"Yeah it's been ten years since last time" I said before hitting her arm.
"What was that for?" Irina asked.
"You didn't talk to me for ten fucking years." I said and glared at her.
"I didn't know what to say when you moved to your aunt." Irina said.
"Well you could have said something, I send tons off emails and you didn't respond once."
"As I thought nothing, you didn't know how to answer the hard questions ever since we were kids." I said when Irina didn't respond to me.
Irina glared and said" What about you Batgirl?"
I got stunned, I hadn't told her that I was Batgirl. "How do you about that?"
"Please, it doesn't take an idiot to connect the dots." Irina said.
I felt the anger build up inside me, I couldn't believe that she knew my secret, who knows what she'll do with that information.
I grabbed her by her shirt collar "If you ever tell anyone I swear that I'll..."
"Hey Paige who is you friend?" Toby asked as he and Caleb walked up to me.
"Guys this is Irina, Irina this is Toby and Caleb." I said pointed to Toby and Caleb. "And were leaving now." I growled between my teeth as I let go on Irina's collar and gave her a push that made her take a step back.
"I wouldn't spend much time with her if I were you guys, she has a bad habit of losing people." Irina shouted after us.
As we walked Toby and Caleb were very defensive when they were talking to me.
"So, that's wasn't a happy reunion." Caleb said.
"Yeah I hate her." I said.
"Well those kinds of meetings are always awkward." Toby said.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
"Well... you two seemed to not get along so well." Toby said.
"Yeah I mean she and I played when we were young, but now she doesn't even think that she's my cousin." I said.
"There is NO way, you are her cousin! She's WAY too hot!" Caleb said.
"Easy there Caleb, remember that you're dating Hanna." Toby said as I glared at Caleb.
"She's a bitch." I said and continued to walk.
"Yeah, I mean she brought up that your parents... Sorry I shouldn't have mentioned it." Toby said referring to my parents' death.
"It's ok Tobs, unlike Irina you didn't mean it." I said frustrated over the idea of meeting her again.
"But can we please change the subject." I said as Caleb was about to say something.
"Ok how about the time when..." Caleb started and he and Toby told random embarrassing stories to make me forget how mad I was.
That night:
I was in my Batsuit patrolling with Caleb, it felt good having Robin back at my side.
We were sitting at a rooftop waiting for something to happen.
"I know it sounds insane but I've missed this." Robin said.
I looked over at Robin and gave him a small smile.
"Ok guys there isn't much criminal activity tonight but there is a mugging going on three blocks away from your current location, if you hurry you can catch the thieves before they get away." Oracle said over the Comm link.
"Got it Oracle, we're on it." I said and we both jumped off the rooftop and glided towards were the mugging was happening.
We landed half a block away from the mugging and we hurried to stop it.
"Ok, lady this is really simple just give us the money and you won't get hurt." I heard a man's voice say, it must have been from one off the muggers.
"Please, I need this money to feed my family." I heard another voice say, defiantly the victim.
"Bitch please, stop wasting our time, reach into your purse, grab all your cash, hand them to my partner or else I'll pull this trigger, a bullet will exit my gun traveling at the speed faster than a cheetah, it will pass through your skull, leave a hole in your head and you'll be lying dead on the pavement edge." I heard another vice say, this time it was another woman.
Me and Robin hurried as fast as we cold, judging from the voice of that other woman I could tell that she was getting impatient and that would lead to she acting rashly and fire the gun, so I hurried to make sure I wouldn't be there to late.
We reached the muggers a few seconds, they had cornered the woman in an alley cutting of her escape, it's a standard choice for a mugger too bad that now when Robin and I were behind them they had no escape from us.
It was like a game off cat and mouse, the woman that was about to get robed was the mouse the muggers were the cats, but what they hadn't planned on was me and Robin, we were the bulldogs in this game and in a few seconds the cats were about to go from being the hunters to be the hunted.
I ran up behind the woman with the gun and threw her to the ground and Robin grabbed the guy robber's shoulder and spun him around punched the mugger in his gut and then he kneed the mugger right in his face so he fell to the ground unconscious.
I looked at the lady robber that was lying down on the ground and I saw that it was my cousin Irina, I got furious and started to punch her over and over again feeling my anger building up more for every punch, it felt good to give my cousin the beating she deserved.
I punched her over and over again, even after she had lost her consciousness I kept hitting her. I didn't want to stop until I wasn't capable to move my arms.
Suddenly I felt something grab my arms and pull me off the mugger.
"What are you doing?" Robin asked me, sounding frustrated over what I just had done.
"Just look, look at her she is my cousin, it's Irina." I said as I grabbed Robin's cheeks forcing him to see the muggers face.
"Paige. This woman looks nothing like your cousin." Robin said.
"What do you mean? Look her..." I said as I looked down at her face once again, only this time she looked completely different, it was like her entire face had changed, like she had worn one of those face masks from the mission impossible movies.
I fire my grappling hook to a roof and glided back to the roof tops and one I was up on the roof I just sat down and tried to understand how my cousin could get under my skin when I had fought against super villains that were much dangerous than her.
"Are you entirely ok tonight?" Robin asked me.
"No I'm not." I answered.
"It's my cousin, she figured out that I'm Batgirl and I'm worried that she'll spread the word to A, I mean if A knows who I am then it's all over." I said worried.
"Well, I don't know your cousin, but I'll tell you this, if she is smart enough to figure out that you are Batgirl she'll be smart enough to not tell A since then A would know that she is your cousin and then kill her to." Robin said.
"You think so?" I asked.
"I know that she's not stupid, if she rats you out she'll have herself killed before A comes after you." Robin said.
I got back up and looked at Robin.
"You called me Paige down in the ally, do you think that anyone hear it?" I asked him.
"No, the woman that was about to get mugged ran away when we were fighting those villains." Robin said.
"Good I would hate that my identity got revealed just because you got sloppy and accidently said my name to a dangerous villain." I said.
"Let's get back to the bat cave, I think that mugging was the last action we'll see tonight." Robin said to avoid the subject and I nodded agreeing with him.
"And Paige has Hanna said anything to you, ever since this morning she's been avoiding me." Robin said as we headed back to the bat cave.
"No I haven't, why don't you try to call her if you want to talk to her." I said.
"I've tried that but she doesn't answer when I call her and when I borrowed Toby's phone she just avoided my questions and then she told me her battery was out before she hanged up." Robin said.
"I have no idea why Hanna would act like that, maybe you should spend more time with her once we're back." I suggested.
"I know it's just that, you have not spent so much time with Emily lately and she doesn't seem to complain about it." Robin said.
"Yeah you're right, I have focused too much on this so Emily seems to be my second priority lately." I said as we reached the bat cave.
Spencer walked up to us and said. "I've heard what you guys said over the Comm link and I just wonder, why don't you guys spend more time with your girlfriends during the days?" Spencer asked us.
"I know Spencer, but I'm just worried that I'll say the wrong things and make Emily mad. I mean the only reason I'm doing this is to make sure that she is safe." I said.
"Same thing with me and Hanna. Caleb said as he removed his mask and went to change to his clothes.
"Listen here Paige, Emily cares about you and sometimes she feels ignored so you should do something to show Emily that you love her." Spencer said.
"You're right Spencer." I said.
"I know that's why I'm the brain of this operation." Spencer said.
I'm impressed by Spencer, she does this crime work as much as I do and still she spends more time together with Toby than I do with Emily.
"Yeah, maybe I could take a break from being Batgirl and really spend time with Emily. I mean A has been lying low a lot these days so I should take advantage of that and hang out with Emily and maybe sleep for a full night." I said as Spencer nodded to me.
"Hey guys it's really late now and the weather looks really bad, so you can spend the night here if you want. I got enough guestrooms for half of my math class so you don't have to sleep on any cough." I suggested as Caleb came back, now wearing his street clothes.
"Yeah, I'm up for it." Caleb said.
"Me to, the weather seem horrible tonight, it's a good thing up guys came back when you did." Spencer said.
"That's great, you know where the guestrooms are right?" I asked and both Caleb and Spencer nodded.
"So, Spencer, do you know what's up with Hanna? She haven't talked to me and she just avoids me." Caleb asked Spencer as both of them went upstairs.
I went to change out of my bat suite and into my clothes before I went upstairs to get to bed.
Emily's Pov-
I woke up early by someone knocking on my door.
"Paige? Is that you?" I asked worried that Paige was going to charge in dressed in her Batgirl suite saying that A was about to do something horrible to all of us.
"No it's me, Hanna." I heard from the other side of my door.
"Hanna? What are you doing up at this point?" I asked.
Hanna walked into my room and sat down on the side of my bed.
"I have to talk to someone, I'm in big trouble." Hanna said.
"What is it?" I asked as I sat up in my bed.
"Well you remember when Caleb got out of the hospital a few days ago and he and I celebrated that..."
"Hanna, can you just cut to the chase?" I asked.
"Well." Hanna said and her eyes started to tear up. "I think I'm pregnant." Hanna said.
"Are, you absolutely sure about that, I mean you could just be getting sick?" I said to calm Hanna down.
"No I took a test yesterday... three times." Hanna said and broke down in tears.
"Caleb will leave me, I just know it... Once I'll tell him he'll leave me." Hanna said.
"No he won't leave you Hanna, he loves you." I said as I rubbed Hanna's back to comfort her.
"Can we just keep this between us, for now? I just can't tell anyone about this." Hanna said and looked at her stomach.
"Don't worry Hanna, I won't tell anyone." I said.
"But Hanna you have to tell him soon. Don't wait to long." I said and Hanna looked at me.
"I'm not going to tell you what to do, but what's worse that Caleb hears it from you or that he figures it out some other way?" I asked.
"You don't have to answer, I just want you to think about it." I said and then I hugged Hanna to comfort her further.
After I had spent hours comforting Hanna and gave her a lift home I drove to school, Hanna didn't feel like being at school today and I couldn't really blame her.
As I drove to school I couldn't stop thinking about Hanna, I knew that she could be a good mom, but she was definitely going to need help and if Caleb wasn't going to help her then me, Spencer and Aria would be there for her. We had always been there for each other ever since we first met and nothing would ever change that.
I didn't know how Caleb was going to react, since he was Robin it was hard to say how he would react when Hanna is going to tell he that he's about to be a dad.
I parked my car in the schools parking lot and took a deep breath before exiting, if Caleb would ask me about Hanna I would have to lie right to his face and lying wasn't something I liked to do.
I took out my phone and send a text to Paige
To Paige: Hi babe.
From Paige: Hi love. I miss you.
To Paige: I miss you to.
From Paige: We'll see each other at drama class.
To Paige: Yeah, but it feels like its forever until then.
From Paige: I feel the same way.
From Paige: B.t.w I've invented a new smiley q:-)l(-:b I call it mirror reflection.
To Paige: You are funny, I love you.
From Paige: I love you to. See ya at drama.
I hang up my phone and went to my locker to grab my books, my first class was English, god where is a time machine when I need it?
Paige's Pov-
I had just gotten to my English class where we had to write a deep poem that we had made up ourselves.
"McCullers." Mr. Fitz said and I walked up holding the poem I had written.
"If I told you what I was,
Would you turn your back on me?
And if I seem dangerous,
Would you be scared?
I get the feeling just because
Everything I touch isn't dark enough
That this problem lies in me.
I'm only a woman with a candle to guide me,
I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me." I read and Mr. Fitz looks at me speechless.
The poem was both a reflection of me and Batgirl, since some are scared of Batgirl and since my parents were killed I've felt that I could never feel really happy.
"That's very deep McCullers, please sit down" Mr. Fitz said and I walked to my seat, it was the one next to Caleb.
"Very dark poem Paige, Caleb said as I sat down.
"Yeah, when my parents were murdered I went through some rally dark times, A was haunting all my nightmares and every morning since that it got had harder and harder for me to find a reason to go up in the morning" I said remembering my sad past.
"Wow, do you think I can copy that I didn't write anything for this assignment." Caleb said.
"What? Dude get your own life to write from." I said.
"Come on Paigey, you go much more inspiration than me." Caleb said.
I just glared at him before returning my focus to the white board and tried to endure the rest of the class.
"Why can't we just leave when we've read our? I mean walk up, read and then walk to the chair and just sitting listening to more is just so boring." Caleb said.
I did agree with him but I didn't say anything for now I was just going to get through the class then go to the drama class which was the only class I had with Emily.
After what felt like hours the class was finally over and I left the classroom and headed to my locker to put my books away before I went to drama class.
I opened my locker and once I closed it Emily is behind the locker door and she presses her lips against mine.
"I've missed you." Emily said after she broke the kiss.
"I hate not being with you." I said as I kissed her softly.
"Paige please, everyone will stare." Emily said teasingly.
"I don't care I love you and I don't care who will notice it." I said and we looked deep into each other's eyes.
"We should hurry, we don't want to be late for class." Emily said and I agreed with her.
She grabbed my hand in hers and we walked to our class together.
"So how was English?" Emily asked me.
"Well I got Mr. Fitz to drop his jaw when I read the home assignment and I'm pretty sure I've passes that assignment." I said and we both laughed.
We continued walking towards the drama class. Once we got there we sat down on the seats and the teacher was sitting down on the stage and said "First of all I'd like to introduce my assistant Irina, she is a college student that will work with me during our classes." He said and when I saw my cousin standing there I almost got a heart attack.
This was bad, not only would she be where I live now I have to see her at school, I hate my life right now.
"As for today the class is dismissed since we are going to plan what play we will perform." The teacher said and then everyone started to gather there things and I just wanted to get out of there.
"Why the rush?" I hear my cousin's voice behind me.
"What do you think?" I said back.
"And why are you even here, you're in collage?" I continued.
"Well I've got to get collage credits somehow and this place seems to use every help it can get." Irina said.
"So it wasn't enough to be here yesterday now I have to see you every time in school?" I say frustrated.
"Yeah, I guess you'll have to suck it up, because I'm not leaving anytime soon." Irina said and I could literally feel my blood boil.
"So when are you going to introduce me to your girlfriend?" Irina asked mockingly.
"When hell freezes over." I said.
"That's not a nice way to talk to your family." Irina said. "But what would you know about that, you have a bad habit of losing yours." She said and I couldn't take it anymore.
I made a fist and punched her as hard as I could, good thing everyone else had left so it was just me and her left.
"Never talk about my parents again." I said before I left.
God I hated her, she had gotten under my skin again and made me lose it. What is her problem anyway, it's not like her parents had been killed.
I got outside and Emily walked up to me.
"Where did you go? I couldn't find you?" Emily asked.
"I just had to ask the teacher a few questions." I lied.
"Ok, well would you like to hang out with me for the rest of the day?" Emily asked and I couldn't say no to her.
I nodded in respond and she opened her car door on the passenger side for me.
"There you go Madame." Emily said in a french accent.
"Thank you." I said back in a british accent, playing along with Emily.
Emily's Pov-
I wanted to tell Paige about Hanna being pregnant but since I had already promised Hanna that I wouldn't tell anyone I made sure to not say a word about it.
Instead I looked at Paige as I slowly drove my car back home. I almost focused more on Paige than the road but lucky for me I didn't hit anything.
Paige seemed awfully quiet.
"Is there something on your mind?" I asked and Paige stopped the car to stare out the window and she looked at me.
"I have to tell you something." She said and it seemed like it was very serious.
"You saw Irina, the teacher's assistant." Paige said.
"Yes." I answered.
"Well she is my cousin." Paige said sounding disappointed over it.
"Okay and what's bothering you about her?" I asked.
"Well she and I were really close growing up, she was like a big sister to me, but then after my parents were killed she just stopped talking to me. I tried to talk to her but she was never there not when I needed her the most." Paige said and I could see tears in her eyes.
"And the few times I actually reached her cell phone she just told me to stop calling her so after a while I gave up on her. She wasn't going to be there for me so I tried to forget everything about her." Paige continued.
"And a few days ago I saw her for the first time in ten years and she knew I was Batgirl, she had just figured it out. And now I think she is going to black mail me or something." Paige said and I rubbed her arm to comfort her.
"She knows Em, She knows." Paige said as she sobbed.
I pulled over the car so I could talk to Paige,
"Paige I don't think she'll tell A your secret, if A finds out she is your cousin A will kill Irina herself." I said in an effort to comfort Paige.
I hugged her and said "She won't be so stupid that she tries to do something like that and if she does you'll have me and everyone else helping you."
I rubbed her back as she sobbed into my shoulder. I wasn't going to lie just to make her feel better so I let her cry out and whisper softly into her ear that I would always be there for her no matter what.
We were sitting like that for hours, Paige was sobbing into my shoulder. I wasn't used to see Paige crying so this was something she really was freaked out by, but I wasn't sure what her worse fear was I just hoped that it wouldn't come true.
I suddenly heard my phone ringing so I had to briefly let go of Paige to reach my coat pocket to answer my phone.
"Hello its Emily"
"Hi dear it's your mother. When are you going to get home? School ended three hours ago." My mom said.
"Oh, I'm sorry mom I just lost track of time." I answered.
"It's alright dear just get home soon, you know that I don't like it when you are out late." My mom said sounding relieved.
"Ok I will..." I said and then I looked over to Paige she still looked sad. "... and mom is there ok if I bring Paige with me? She has had a rough day." I asked.
"Of course dear, you can bring Paige I'll just set the table for one more and there is enough food to go around here." My mom said.
"That's great we'll be home in an hour, bye." I said and hanged up the phone.
I looked over to Paige and rubbed her cheek. "I hope you're fine with me inviting you to dinner with my mom." I said and I made her look at me.
"If you don't want to come I'll just drop you off at your place and then I'll tell my mom that you got I'll, but I'd really appreciate it if you came here and had dinner with us." I said to Paige letting her know that I gave her a choice.
Paige wiped away her tears and looked into my eyes. "Emily, I'd love to have dinner with both you and your mom." She said with a smile. I loved her smile it made me feel good that she could feel happy despite everything that had happen to her.
I started the car and drove slowly back to my house, as I drove back home I looked over to Paige, she seemed much happier now than before.
There was no secret that my mom liked Paige, there was times when she had said that the only reason she hadn't adopted Paige was because then I'd be dating my sister, my mom had a really strange humor at times.
When I got home I drove up the driveway and parked my car. We both walked out of the car and I wrapped my arm around Paige's waist pushing her close to me as we walk to the door. Paige leaned her head on my shoulder as we were walking up to the house.
"Thank you Emily." Paige said.
"For what?" I asked.
"I don't even know where to begin." Paige said and I kissed the top of her head.
I opened the door where my mom greeted the both of us.
"Hi Emily dear, how are you doing Paige?" She asked and pulled us both into a big hug. Once she let go of us she walked into the kitchen and told us to sit down by the table and she'd bring the food.
Paige took a seat by the table and I sat down on the chair next to her.
"I'm sorry about my mom." I said quietly so my mom wouldn't hear me.
"It's ok, I don't mind it at all." Paige said.
"What were your parents' names?" I asked Paige.
"My moms name was Erica Lisa McCullers and my dad's name was Nick Bruce McCullers." Paige answered.
"Ok my dad's name was Wayne Fields." I answered.
"Why did you wonder that?" Paige asked.
"Well if we get a baby boy I want to name him after both our dads." I answered.
"What do you think off Wayne Nick how does that sound like?" I asked.
"Well my dad used his last name a lot so why don't we use that instead." Paige suggested.
"Wayne Bruce... no Bruce Wayne I like the sound of that." I said and Paige nodded agreeing with me.
"Ok girls, I hope you're hungry because I've made a lot." My mom said as she walked in carrying a tray with lasagna that she put on the table.
"Well let's eat before it gets could." My mom said and cut of a slice off lasagna and put on her plate before pushing the tray to Paige.
The dinner was slightly awkward but Paige seemed to have fun and my mom didn't embarrassed me too much when she told her stories about me when I was five years old and did things she thought were cute but I had told her to never ever mention to anyone.
After dinner we both went to my room and watched a movie. Somewhere halfway through the movie Paige had fallen asleep on my lap, she looked so peaceful sleeping that I didn't have the heart to wake her up. I moved away some of her auburn hair and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead.
I loved her so much there was nothing that I wouldn't do to make her happy.
Two days later:
I was on my way to Paige's mansion, we had decided that we were going to have a date tonight, It felt like we hadn't done any actual couple things in a long time so we both cleared our schedules to hang out just the two of us.
When I got there the door was unlocked so I just went inside her mansion. Once I got inside I was surprise that Paige wasn't waiting by the door. I walked to the stairs to see where she was.
"Paige!" I called. No response. The stairs led to a hallway with three doors on one side, one of them was ajar. I walked down, not knowing what to do. "Paige!" I called again.
"Boo!" She scared the shit out of me. It took me a moment to realize that her voice had come from directly above. Her smiling face was peeking out at me from the attic door in the ceiling, and her long auburn hair hung straight down over it making her look like something out of those Japanese horror movies.
"You gave me a heart attack" I said trying to laugh it off.
"Sorry babe. I knew you'd come," she was still smiling. "Watch out," she said, and hanging on the edge of the attic entrance, lowered herself down and jumped next to me. She was like a gymnast. If I tried to pull a move like that I'd break my neck.
"Want some tea?" She asked me "You look cold as hell."
"Yes Please." I answered.
"Ok, wait here," she told me, and sprinted down the stairs. I stood in the hallway and looked up at the entrance to the attic. No stairs. She must have had to do a pull-up to get up there. This didn't help to alleviate my girlfriend. I pictured her arm muscles tensing, her abs getting rigid as she pulled herself up, giggling the whole time at the scare she was going to give me. How did she know I was going to come that way?
"Boo!" Fuck, she did it again. I turned around, heart racing, to see her now next to me holding a steaming cup of tea, smiling as big at me.
"You're too easy," she laughed and handed me the cup. I was starting to feel silly for having feelings for someone who acted like a ten year old boy
"I didn't know you had this kind of humor." I said and took a sip from the cup.
"You bring out a lot of new sides off me." Paige said and drank some off her own tea.
"You do this every time you chase villains?" I asked.
"Sometimes and then they run as fast as they can, but usually I have to fight them and they get easier and easier to defeat." Paige answered.
I sipped from my tea and listened to Paige telling me about how hard she trained when she decided to be a Batgirl.
"Paige, there is one thing I've wondered for a long time. Why did you choose bat as a symbol?" I asked Paige and she placed her cup of tea on the table and took a deep breath.
Paige's Pov-
Flashback:
I was 7 years old and me and Irina was playing tag in the garden off what would one day be my family's new mansion.
They had found a small town called Rosewood that seemed nice and a very friendly place for a child to grow up in.
"Come on slowpoke, you've got to keep up if you want to get me." Irina said as we ran around the big garden.
"I'll get you for that one." I said and continued to run after her.
"As if." Irina said and she continued to run so I had to struggle to keep up with her.
She was too fast for me to keep up, after a few more minutes I was getting exhausted. I stop to catch my breath. As I stood there I noticed that the bushes in the garden was about my height and they didn't have and thorns so I could easily sit inside one, so I move a few branches whit my hands and sat down in the middle so I was almost invisible.
"Paige? Paige? Where are you?" I heard Irina calling my name as she was looking for me. I didn't move a muscle, I just waited for Irina to get close enough for me to jump out of the bush and tag her.
"Paige? Come on, don't be mad because I'm too good at this game." Irina said as she kept searching for me.
I could see her, she was ten feet away from me I just needed to wait a little longer.
"Paige come on you know that aunt Erica will be mad at me if I lose you." Irina said now sounding worried.
She walked closer to where I was still not noticing me. I just needed to wait just a few more seconds and she'd be standing right where I want her.
"PAIGE!" She shouted, sounding really furious and she took two steps closer to where I was. Now the timing was perfect I jumped out of the bushes and dove right on Irina tackling her to the ground.
"Tag! You're it!" I said and started to run as Irina got back up.
"You little... I swear I'll kill you!" I heard Irina scream behind me, but I didn't look back I just kept running trying to get to my parents before Irina would reach me, if there was one thing I knew it was that Irina had a short temper span and gets mad very easily, sadly that's what made it funny to play pranks on her.
I ran as fast as I could, but suddenly I stepped on some old wooden planks that were so fragile that I fell right through them, I screamed in panic as I fell into the darkness. I landed and took a quick glance over where I was, it looked like a very old well.
I was very scared and I felt that I was bleeding from my forehead but I was so terrified I didn't dare to move or say anything.
"Paige, hold on I'll get help" I heard Irina say but I didn't respond to her all I did was bringing my knees to my chest and sit very still crying.
After what felt like an eternity I saw a matchbox lying in front of me, I reached over to it, it still had a matchstick in it. I light the matchstick and the first thing I saw was a scary dark creature that stared at me, I got terrified and screamed for my life when suddenly I got surrounded by hundreds of those creatures, they were flying around me and I thought I was about to die, then everything went dark.
A few minutes later I woke up, I was out of that dark scary well and I was in my room at home. I sat up and saw my mom and dad sitting right next to me.
"Paige dear you're awake." My mom said.
"We were so worried when we found you down in the well, you were unconscious." My dad said.
"There where monsters in that well." I said.
"You mean the bats, we saw them flying out of the well when Irina told us you were trapped." My dad said.
"I hate those things they are mean and scary" I said.
"Don't worry Paige, you're safe here." My mom said comforting me.
"I never want to see another bat again, ever!" I said and buried my face in my hands.
Present:
"Ironic isn't it? I was scared of bats until my parents got killed and now bats are practically my symbol." I said.
"How did you came over you fear of bats before they came the symbol?" Emily asked.
"That night my parents got killed by Deathstroke and I survived. I hid inside the closet and saw everything. I was too scared to exit the closet, I didn't leave until the police were there and one of them found me in the closet." I said and looked at Emily. "It was your mother." I said and Emily looked surprised, guess she didn't expect to have that.
"She took me to the police station and interrogated me, but I was too scared to answer the questions." I said.
"A few nights later I found the hole where I had fell down in and decided to jump inside it. If I was dead Deathstroke wouldn't be able to kill me." I said and Emily looked at me, she had a worried look on her face.
"I jumped in, but I landed on my feet, so I sat there waited for the bats to come and kill me. I waited for what felt like hours but nothing happened so I started to walk and I saw I noticed that the bats wasn't that scary they just seemed that because I thought they were. I explored around I noticed that I was in a cave that was huge, It's what now is the bat cave." I said. "And that's when got over my fear for bats." I said
Emily walked up "Paige you are brave and strong for overcoming your fear of bats." and then she kissed me.
"As I grew older I decided to stop A once and for all, as I thought of ways to stop A and I realized that as I was then I was only a girl and not scary enough to fight A, but if I was something that people got scared off because they let it scare them I would stand a chance to fight them and bats scared me because I let them scare me so I picked bat as my symbol." I said and Emily kissed me again.
Emily's Pov-
"Come here there is something I want to show you." Paige said and led me downstairs.
"Where are we going?" I asked as we reached the bottom of the stairs.
"You'll see." Paige said and led me to the backdoor.
"Ok close your eyes." Paige said and I did, then she took my hand and led me outside.
"Now open them." Paige said and I did, what I saw was stunning.
Paige sowed me an outdoor deck that had light hanging from its roof, there was candles on a table, there was rose pedals all over the ground and it was a starlit sky that made it just beautifully.
"You like it?" Paige asked.
"I love it." I said and gave Paige a peck on her lips.
We sat down at the table and looked at each other. Paige sure knew how to set a romantic mood.
"Paige, I love you so much." I said.
"Well there is one more thing I got." Paige said and reached under the table and took out some Chinese takeout, she was nothing less than amazing.
"Wow this is amazing." I said and I reached for the noodles.
"Well I wanted to say thank you for helping me watch the family video tape, it meant a lot to me." Paige said.
"Yeah, after my dad died, I didn't wanted to see anything that reminded me off him, I just locked myself into my room and spend most days crying on the bed." I said.
Paige's Pov-
"How was he?" I asked.
"Well one of my brightest memories was the time when he taught me to swim." Emily said.
"He helped me into the water and told me how to move in the water, then he taught me some more advanced techniques, then some more and after a week I had mastered the art of swimming." Emily said.
"He must have been a very good coach since he taught you that much in so little time." I said impressed over Emily's dad.
"Yeah, we did a lot of things together when he was alive, I could always relay on him, he was like my guardian angel, when he died I felt unsafe, no matter where I went it felt like A's men where around every corner." Emily said and looked down.
"Every night I used to stay up and pray for a guardian angel that would make me feel safe." Emily said as she still looked down.
I cupped her hand and she looked back at me. "What made you stop worrying?" I asked.
"One night I thought I was going to stop being scared and go see a late night movie. I went to the movie and saw it all, then when I went home something happened that made me stop being scared" Emily said.
"What happened?" I asked.
"You should know, you were there." Emily said.
"It was the night when you saved me for the first time. I thought that you were a guardian angel sent from the heaven to protect me." Emily continued and I blushed as she said that.
Emily's Pov-
"Wow, it looks like that tough and confident Paige McCullers is blushing." I said teasingly.
"You mean a lot to me Emily and I want to spend my life with you." Paige said.
"Oh, Paige." I said as I leaned in and kissed Paige, the kiss got heated fast and I lost track of space and time and I knew Paige felt the same.
Before I knew it we were in Paige's bedroom, we had pressed each others up against walls and tables as we kissed on the way to Paige's bedroom, we were still wearing our clothes but not for long if I had a thing to say about it.
I reached behind Paige's back and started to pull up her tank top, I broke our kiss as I lifted the tank top above Paige's head, but once it was off I attacked Paige's lips again pushing her back on the bed.
I looked into her big brown eyes and we kissed with a flaming passion, Paige and unbuttoned my shirt and threw it on the floor.
"I love you so mush." Paige said and I kissed her again. "Nothing could ever ruin this moment." I said when suddenly the door flew wide open and Hanna ran in.
"Emily, thank god you're here." She said.
"Nothing could ever ruin this moment?" Paige whispered to me.
We both sat up on the bed and Hanna sat down between me and Paige.
"I... I tried to call Caleb and tell him that... that I was pregnant, but I couldn't do it." Hanna sobbed.
Paige and I hugged Hanna at the same time to comfort her, we sat like that for a while and Hanna was sobbing as we hugged her.
"Guys could you put some clothes on?" Hanna said and I remembered what me and Paige was about to do before Hanna rushed in on us.
Paige got up and tossed me my shirt as she put on her tank top.
"Paige, could you please get me something to drink?" Hanna asked and Paige nodded and left her bedroom.
"What happened when you tried to tell Caleb?" I asked.
Hanna raised her phone and said. "I chickened out when I was going to dial his number." Then she put her phone in her back pocket and sighed.
"Hanna you have to tell him at some point." I said.
"I know, but how can I tell him that I'm pregnant?" Hanna asked.
"Oh my god, what if Caleb will leave me when I tell him?" Hanna said sounding really worried.
"Han, Caleb won't leave you." I said.
"How can you be so sure, last thing I told him was that we're teenagers, we have lots of time to have fun, and now I have to tell him that he is going to be a father!" Hanna said terrified over her own words.
"Caleb loves you and he isn't going to abandon you." I said and Hanna took a deep relaxing breath.
"I know I have to tell him, I just need some time to accept this myself." Hanna said and put her hand on her stomach.
"Just don't wait too long." I said and then the door opened and Paige came in with a glass of water.
"I wasn't sure on what to get you." She said and Hanna accepted the drink.
"Thank you Paigey." Hanna said and drank from the glass.
"You can stay here tonight if you want to." Paige said to Hanna.
"Really?" Hanna sobbed.
"Yeah, you can even use my bed, I'll just sleep in one of the guestrooms." Paige said.
"Thank you Paigey." Hanna said. "I feel so tired." Hanna said and crawled under the covers.
"And Hanna, Caleb will never leave you, no matter what." Paige said and left the room.
Paige walked out and I stayed with Hanna to make sure she'd fall asleep, when she was asleep I walked after Paige and found her lying on her side in a guestroom bed.
"It was really nice of you to let Hanna have your room." I said and crawled up next to Paige.
"After what she's been through I thought she could use a nice rest and I got the best bed." Paige said.
"I know, but it's not the bed that makes it perfect, it's the one that with me in it." I said as I put my arm around Paige.
I stroked her hair with my other hand and started to sing.

The next morning:
I woke up next to Paige, she was so peacefully when she was sleeping. I didn't want to wake her up, but I knew I had to since we had to be at school today, but for now I just enjoyed the sight of my girlfriend sleeping.
I got up and got dressed in a quietly as I could, doing my best to not wake her up. Since she was Batgirl I know she didn't get much sleep at night.
Once I got all my clothes on I slowly walked to the door to get to the kitchen and make breakfast for me and Paige.
"Emily! Oh good you're up." Hanna said as she opened the door with a slam.
"Hanna, can you keep it down? You'll wake Paige." I whispered.
"Yeah, it's a bit too late for that." I heard Paige say. I looked at the bed and saw that Paige was up and about to get out of the bed.
Once Paige was dressed we went downstairs to get breakfast.
"My mom will be really mad at me when she finds out." Hanna said.
"She'll probably be mad at first, but she won't be mad forever." I said.
"But what will I do after I tell her?" Hanna asked.
"You'll know when you tell her." Paige said.
Hanna look at the both off us and says "I really don't know what to do after I tell her. What if she kicks me out...''
"She won't kick you out Hanna." I said confirming that Hanna thought it would be worse than it actually was.
"I guess you're right but there is one horrible thing that will happen." Hanna said.
"What is it?" Paige and I asked at the same time.
"My clothes won't fit me when I'm pregnant and I won't be able to wear high heels." Hanna said. Typical her to worry about that.
I start to cook breakfast and Paige helped me.
"What will you name the child?" Paige asked.
"I don't know, I just don't know." Hanna said and looked at her stomach.
"How do you guys think Caleb will feel about me having a baby?" Hanna asked.
"Well he did grow up with foster parents so he will probably do what he can to make sure this baby has a better childhood then he got." I said and served Hanna her plate.
We all ate the breakfast and then me and Paige went to school. I tried to convince Hanna to come with us but she said she couldn't so I let her have it her way.
We both went to our lockers and said our goodbyes since we had different classes.
Paige's Pov-
I walked out of my class and saw Caleb, he seemed bothered about something, I guess he wanted to see Hanna but since she avoided going to school today he wouldn't meet her here.
"Hey buddy." I said as I went up to him.
"Hi." Caleb said and then he took out his phone and checked it for messages.
"So tonight I'm going on a patrol but if you want to sit this one out I'm okay with that." I said.
"No, I want to kick some ass tonight." Caleb said.
"Ok, well I'll see you tonight at the usually place then." I said trying to not treat Caleb like he was made of glass.
"Yeah, if I can't help Hanna at least I can help someone else." Caleb said.
I nodded and went to my last class for the day, tonight I was going to make life hard for A and I'd still need to keep an eye on Caleb to make sure he doesn't lose focus and getting himself killed.
That night:
It was another night and me and Robin where patrolling the streets like every other night.
I was worried that we hadn't heard anything from A and it made me very worried.
"I know that Hanna is pregnant." I heard Robin say.
"What are you saying?" I asked.
"Yesterday she pocket dialed me and I heard her talk to Emily and she mentioned that she was pregnant and she is worried about telling me." Robin said.
"What are you going to do now?" Oracle asked over the Comm link.
"I love her and I want her to trust me." Robin said.
"Are you sure you want to be here? I mean you could go to Hanna if you want." I said.
"I don't know I'm still mad that she didn't tell me, but I've kept all this a secret for her." Robin said.
Then we heard a woman's scream and we hurried to where it came from.
We saw three muggers running away from a woman, one of them was holding a purse that must have belonged to the woman. Robin and I glided down from the roof and we both landed on one mugger each easily knocking them out.
The third mugger noticed us and started to run as fast as his legs could carry him and Robin and I chased him. After a few blocks the mugger ran into a toy store, neither me nor Robin expected that.
We both entered through the door, it was dark and we heard the mugger breathing heavily.
We sneaked around quietly to ambush the mugger, we could hear him breath heavy and sound exhausted and he was obviously scared of us. When we reached where the sounds came from we saw that it was just a tape recorder.
"It seems like I've caught the flying rodent and bird brain." A voice was heard over the speakers.
"Time to DIE!" The voice said again then four remote controlled helicopters appeared, there rotor blades where razor sharp and could cut through our bones, I knew that because I had seen cops getting decapitated that way.
"Stand back Robin!" I said and grabbed a nearby baseball bat and held it like a batter ready to destroy the remote controlled helicopters, I swung the bat as hard as I could hit the first helicopter, it exploded after I had hit it, I quickly swung the bat again smashing the second helicopter then I did the same thing with the third, as the fourth helicopter approached I threw the baseball bat at it, just like the others it exploded as it got destroyed.
Robin looked at me and said "You don't call yourself BATgirl for nothing!"
I looked annoyed at him and said "Horrible pun!"
After that we both ran to the monitoring room and kicked the door down. We saw the mugger, he was trying to hide in a corner.
Robin ran up to the mugger and grabbed him by the collar.
"You are not going to mug people again." Robin said and smashed the mugger against the wall. "If I see you in my town doing anything illegal again I swear I'll kill you."
The mugger nodded in panic and closed his eyes in fear when Robin put him down on the floor. We both escaped through the door before the mugger opened his eyes.
A few minutes later we were at a roof just waiting for the next thing to happen.
"I just can believe that Hanna didn't tell me about the baby." Robin said.
"Me neither and I'm her friend." Oracle said over the Comm link.
"Hey... Batgirl, did you know about Hanna?" Caleb asked me.
"Yes, Emily told me." I answered.
"Okay." Robin said and lowered his head looking disappointed at himself.
"Hey... Buddy listen. Hanna didn't tell you because she was worried that you'd leave her." I said to Robin.
"Yeah, I should talk to her in the morning, I do love her and I will stay with her and the baby... I know it's my baby and my dad was never around and I want to be a better father than my dad was to me." Caleb said.
"I know you'll take good care of the kid." I said putting my hand on his shoulder.
"I hate to ruin the moment you guys are sharing but there are some knocked out cops at the bank." Oracle said.
We both got up and hurried to the bank where we saw some cops laying knocked out on the ground.
"Check the cops, try to see if someone is conscious." I said to Robin and we checked the cops to see if someone could tell us what had happened.
I looked at the ground and saw empty shells from what must have been the police's guns, so they were shooting at something or someone but I couldn't find any trace of bullets that had hit something.
"Hey Batgirl, over here." Robin shouted and I ran over to him. It was one cop who was still conscious.
"What happened here?" I asked the cop.
"He... he just appeared and attacked us, we tried to shoot him but he just disappeared, then he defeated us all." The cop answered before passing out.
"You think just one guy could have done all this?" Robin asked me.
"Yeah it must be one of A's experiments, like Bane." I answered.
"Well they said he disappeared, you think this guy could have the power to turn invisible?" Robin asked.
"Maybe. Oracle, hack into the bank's security cameras and see if you can find something that could be useful to fight this invisible guy." I said over the Comm link.
We both went inside the bank and saw one cop standing and fired his gun at something, suddenly he fell backwards like he had gotten punched and then as he fell he changed direction like he got punched from behind.
"It seems like we have found our invisible guy." I said.
We walked up to the room moving slowly so we could hear from where this invisible guy would come from.
Suddenly I felt something colliding with my face and I lost my balance and fell to the ground.
"Bat..." Robin said before falling to the ground next to me.
I jumped up and started to throw punches and kicks in the air but I didn't hit anything, then something that felt like a fist collided with my stomach and I fell down on my knees, fuck this guy is good.
I got back up and saw Robin falling onto his back again.
I didn't understand anything, someone invisible should at least leave some trace or make any kind of noise.
"Batgirl." Oracle said over the Comm link. "I've checked the tapes and this guy isn't invisible, he is super-fast, you don't see him because he runs to fast for you two to notice." She said over the Comm link.
So he is super-fast, that explains it, I thought as I got back up, then I threw a glue grenade at the ground and I was lucky since I managed to trap him to the ground, now he was stuck to the floor.
This guy was wearing a black suite that covered his entire body except his mouth and chin, and on his chest there was a yellow lightning.
"Who does this guy think he is?" Robin asked as we went up to the stranger, I reached to his face and removed his mask, I almost got a heart attack it was Ezra Fitz.
"Why are you robbing the bank?" I asked him.
"I'm not!" Ezra shouted.
"You knocked out the cops and you attacked me." I shouted back.
"The guard where just A's men dressed up like cops so they could rob the bank without them getting suspected. So I stopped then and then I saw you two and I thought that you also where A's men." Ezra said.
"Why are you so fast?" Caleb asked.
"I stole some of A's serum, I altered it to make sure I wouldn't turn into one of those titans like Wilden did, but instead of making me stronger it made my heart beat fast and everything went so slowly, I quickly learn to control it and now I got full control over my super power."
"Why did you take A's serum when you wasn't sure what would happen?" I asked
"To make sure I'd be able to protect Aria, ever since she returned to her normal self I had to keep her safe, but I couldn't fight A as Ezra Fitz but if I upgraded myself I would be able to get the edge in a fight as Flash." Ezra said.
"Flash?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm super-fast and gone in a flash so I thought that name would fit." Flash said.
"Ok, and how long have you been fighting A, like this?" I asked and Flash putt his mask back on.
"I've started a few days' ago but I've already pissed A of, it seems like A knows that there is one more that is fighting against her." Flash said.
Then the glue holding Flash to the floor dissolved and he could move again.
Then suddenly a van backed right through a wall, then a few of A's men walked out one of them said.
"Making the heroes fight each other was a genius idea now we've killed three birds with one stone." He said and then he saw all three of us.
"You're in luck, you get three superheroes for the price of one." Robin said and we all charged the villains.
Robin ran up to one villain, the villain draw a knife and tried to cut Robin but Robin jumped back and used his staff to make the villain fall onto his back, then he smacked the villain on his head with it to make sure that he'd stay down, right after he did so I ran up to Robin and used his back as a springboard to get high into the air then I punched this other villain right in his face, then I grabbed another villain, holding his arms back and Robin hit him with his staff.
Flash had run up to two villains that stood further back, holding assault rifles. H ran up to the first one and pulled the rifle out of his hand before the villain had time to react, then he threw it on the other villain so he dropped his rifle, the Flash kicked the villain in his guts before elbowing his nose and the Flash slammed the villain through a table behind him.
"TIME TO DIE!" The second villain yelled as he picked up his assault rifle and started fire it, but Flash moved so fast that every bullet missed him, and I threw a bat rang at the villain so he dropped his rifle and then Flash knocked him out with one punch.
"You know, we work really good together." Flash said.
"Yeah, we do." I said.
Then we saw another car drive away from the bank. It was some of A's men trying to get away.
"Oracle send the stealth bike." I said over the Comm link as we ran out from the bank and saw that there was two cars driving away, one was a sedan and one was an armored car.
The stealth bike arrived just as I got to the street curve and I jumped on it and drove after the cars.
As I drove after the cars I noticed a blur and then I saw Flash running next to the sedan and reached for the door, the villains in the car panicked and fired their guns at Flash. All I saw was a blur where Flash was standing, the villains where firing there weapons until they ran out of ammo and then I saw that Flash was still there, he had dodged every bullet.
Then Flash opened the car's driver door and threw out the driver then he knocked out the villain in the passenger seat with a few really quick punched to the villains head, the villain was unconscious before he knew what was happening.
The last two villains draw their guns but Flash just said.
"You should probably put on your seat belts." Then he jumped out of the car that crashed into a brick wall, knocking out the villains.
I followed the armored car it was too slow to escape me so I had it very easy to keep up with it.
I fired some bullets from a mounted gun on my bike that took out a tire and the car started to wiggle but it didn't stop.
I drove up next the driver and he panicked as he noticed me.
He tried to ram me off the road but I hit the break so he missed me, I didn't know who the driver was but he was good since he could still balance the car even though I had taken out a tire, I drove up the front of the car, this time on the opposite side of the driver and threw a bat rang on the tire that destroyed it and the car fell over upside down.
The driver crawled out from the door and I kicked him in his stomach to get him to stay down.
"Where did you get your driver's license?" I asked as he passed out.
A few minutes later the police had gathered A's men and I had regrouped whit Robin and Flash at the bank.
"If you need any back up give me a call sometime. But remember who you are fighting for, the once that you love, it's what makes me continue fighting." Flash said and ran out of the bank.
"What do you think about him?" Robin asked.
"I think we've got a strong ally and a very wise man." I said and then Robin and I returned to the Bat cave.
Back at the Bat cave:
"How did the hunt go?" Spencer asked.
"Better than what I ever expected." Caleb said.
"Saw you two made a new friend." Spencer said.
"Yeah, we did." I said as I changed out of my Batgirl suite.
Caleb and I walked up to Spencer and I remembered what Flash had told me.
"We should talk to our love ones, and tell them him mush they mean to us." I said and Spencer nodded and grabbed her cell phone while Caleb just sat down.
"I don't know what to do or say to Hanna." He said and I walked up next to him.
"She was worried that you'd leave her." I said and Caleb looked at me.
"She thought that you'd hate her if she told you that she is pregnant." I said.
"She did?" Caleb asked sounding surprised.
"Yes, she loves you so much that she is worried to lose you." I said.
Caleb was almost crying when I said that, he seemed to be worried about losing her.
"I need to talk to her." Caleb said.
"Yes you should, but maybe not right now since she'll be asleep." I said.
"You're right Paige, I'll call her tomorrow." Caleb said and then he got up and left.
Once I was upstairs I thought about what Flash had told me and Caleb so I grabbed my cellphone and called Emily. I got to her voice mail since she was probably asleep.
"Hi Em, it's me. I don't say this enough, I love you. You are the only reason that I continue being Batgirl. I want us to have a future free from A and we can just enjoy our time together. Emily Fields I love you."
After I left her that voice mail I picked up a picture of her and me, we looked really happy together and I wanted more of that once I had gotten rid of A once and for all.

I woke up and saw that someone had left me a voice mail, I checked it and I saw that it was from Paige. When I played it I almost started to cry, I knew Paige cared about me but to hear her saying that gave me a feeling that was beyond happiness I had to listen to it again.

First now I got worried over what Hanna had in mind. "Emily Fields, what have you gotten yourself into now?" I asked myself as I out my cell phone in my pocket.
After I was done worrying I drove my car to Hanna's place. When I arrived I knocked at the door and Hanna opened it, I could see that she was very happy.
"Hi Han, I'm so happy that you and Caleb are still together." I said.
"So are we." Hanna said and nodded to Caleb who was standing behind her.
He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach.

I drove and Hanna told me when to turn and when we had arrived to a small store she told me to park the car.
