**I do own Katelynn (Birna Katelynn Odden-Haddock) and Chronos G. Reaper, however
The Four and two teens were led by Chronos to the top floor. Hiccup had Katelynn—or Birna, as she finally decided to go by her first name—and Merida helping walk, since he only had one foot to walk on. Toothless was behind him to make sure he wouldn't fall.
Tooth buzzed over Hiccup. "My goodness! Are you okay, Hiccup?"
"I'm fine…thanks."
North stared at Birna. "Who is this?"
"North, this is Katelynn—I mean, Birna," Chronos said. He smirked. "She's part of the legend, just like Jamie."
Bunnymund glared at her. "A non-Believer? Are you out of your skull?"
Birna raised her eyebrow at Bunnymund. "Huh. A talking…kangaroo…rabbit…thing."
Bunnymund jumped backwards. "S-She…! I am not a kangaroo, mate!"
Jack sent a smirk her way. "At least we agree on one thing, kid." He joined Chronos by the Hourglass of Time. "So, what's the get up, Old Timer?"
Chronos scoffed and rolled his eyes at 'Old Timer'. He went on his tiptoes so that he could press the full moon symbol on the upper lip of the hourglass.
The symbol popped out with a hiss. He was mumbling to himself as he grabbed the symbol and twisted it counter clockwise then pushed it back in. There was a low, yet loud clunk. The other symbols on the upper lip, the lunar cycle, popped out and so did the suns on the bottom lip. The top and bottom started to revolve. The lid containing the moons rose up to the ceiling. It turned the symbols sideways and the shimmered white. It clunked clockwise. The bottom expanded as the symbols of the sum did the same thing as the upper half, but it went counterclockwise. They're shape and behavior acted like gears of a clock. The Guardians, the two teens, the Four, and Toothless backed up when the floor under the hourglass opened like the shutter of a camera. An eerie, dull, grim bell tolled as it spun. There was a loud cur-clunk and the hourglass jerked downwards. It slowly descended into the black abyss below it. Only the top lip remained visible.
Chronos cracked his knuckles and stepped onto the platform. Shadows engulfed his hand and formed into a long, slim figure that resembled a pole and out of its end came a huge jaded and sharp point from its side. The shadows melted to reveal a pitch black scythe that it's blade gleamed like a full moon. He slammed the butt of it into the platform and turned his staff clockwise with great effort. As he did so, a booming winding noise, like the sound of an old grandfather clock, filled the room. Out of the abyss came out a large ring of marble came up and teeth hissed out of it. The platform rose under Chronos and revealed a still hologram of the globe. Chronos removed his scythe from the platform and jumped down to the others. The platform still rotated clockwise and the outer rim of the marble, which was made of bronze, rotated counterclockwise. When the globe locked in place, there was a hiss of air and the Hourglass of Time reappeared on the top of the rotating platform.
North's jaw drop. "This globe…makes mine look like something elf made."
Hiccup whistled. "Wow."
Chronos went up the table and looked over his shoulder. "Come now, this thing won't bite!" Hesitantly, they gathered around it. "We need to diverse some kind of plan…"
"Ya said earlier that we had to defeat Mor'du." Merida started.
"And the rest of the Negatives," Jack added. "So time could flow again."
Chronos nodded. "Indeed. The blokes are most likely at Pitch's underground lair…" he pressed something on the table and the globe flickered into a scene that had a wooden bed in the middle of the woods. "Which is down there."
"So…we have to go into a rabbit hole…?" Hiccup asked.
North shook his head. "No. I do not believe so…."
"The Negatives should know better than that," Bunnymund insisted. "They may be a pain in the tail but they know what they're doing. Pitch is smart. He knows that'd be the first place we'd look."
"Then where would they be?" Rapunzel wondered.
Jamie thought for a moment before he suggested, "They might still be in town."
Chronos slid his hand across the surface. The image morphed into what looked like a bird's eye view of Burgress. He narrowed his eyes at the hologram, as if he was searching the maze of buildings and streets.
"There!" Birna jabbed her finger at a corner of the hologram. "On Main Street. I saw something flicker."
Chronos zoomed in on the spot. He pressed a button and the scene seemed to rewind. They jumped when a fuse box exploded. In the burst of sparks, a dark figure hurdled away from it. Chronos held up his hand the image seemed to freeze. He squinted at it. "That looks like a bear."
"That's Mor'du…" Merida pointed at the small speck of red. "See that? That's his eye. I'd know it anywhere."
"Alright, there's one…" Jack floated around the now back to the bird's eye view of Burgress. He sighed. "I don't see anything…"
"Well, Pitch can blend into the shadows," Tooth told him. "He might be moving around that way."
Hiccup leaned against the table, his leg killing him from standing on it too long. "But since Mor'du is still here, that means that the others are around somewhere close by."
Rapunzel nodded. "That's true. When I was captured by them, the stayed together. The only split up for short periods of time but are close to each other."
"So it is possible that they are all in Burgress." Bunnymund mumbled.
"Alright, now we know where they are…what now?" Jamie asked Chronos.
It was Hiccup that said, "Toothless needs me to make him a new tail. Without that, he can't fly."
"What do you need for it?" North asked.
"Leather, steel, things to mold them with…"
"The high school's workshop. They have all kinds of stuff like that." Birna told him. "I can take you there."
"And how exactly are you gonna get there?" Jack inquired, crossing his arms across his chest.
"I can take them in sled." North motioned his hand at Toothless and then the two Vikings. "Reindeer can handle them all."
Tooth buzzed around North and said, "But you need to be up here to help Chronos along with us."
"I'll go with you," Rapunzel volunteered. "So that I can help the best I can and you can go back to helping Chronos, North."
Merida wondered aloud, "What about Mor'du? We should go after him, yes?"
Chronos nodded. "Yeah…are you equipped?"
Jamie glanced at Merida's quiver. "I think you'll need more arrows than that. Birna's house has arrows similar to yours in her family's collection."
"And I can tag along…in case Pitch or the witch appears." Jack added.
Chronos grinned. "Fantastic. We seem to have a battle plan. Let's get time back."
