A/N2: I hope you'll enjoy this chapter and please leave Reviews so I'll know if you still read this story.

Emily's Pov-

"Hey, Emily. Wake up." I heard Hanna's voice whisper.

"What is it?" I groaned, mad that Hanna had awakened me.

"The town is safe." Hanna said.

"I know, Paige and the guys freed it last night." I said and closed my eyes.

"No, now it's official it's on the news and there's a lot of construction workers that's rebuilding the town." Hanna said and forced me out of bed and pushed me to a window. "Look for yourself it has already started." Hanna said and I slapped away her hands before she decided to force my eyes open.

I could see it, there was already lots of people working both with tools and machineries. I knew that this was what I had hoped to see for years but now I just wanted to go back to bed.

"Come on Em, this isn't the time to sleep." Hanna said and dragged me further away from the bed.

"Hey, I was up all night… and so was Paige, why don't you wake her up?" I asked.

"Good idea." Hanna said.

I tried to stop her but she was just too quick for me and even though she was pregnant.

"Hey, Paige. Wake up!" She said as she started to shake Paige.

"I'll give you a thousand dollars if you let me sleep." Paige groaned.

"Nope, I'm too excited to let you guys sleep." Hanna said.

"Five thousand dollars." Paige said.

"No, no time to sleep, time to wake up." Hanna said.

"Ok there is ten thousand dollars in a shoebox in my closet and they are all yours if you let me sleep." Paige said.

"I don't care how much money you… wait a minute? You just got that much money laying around?" Hanna asked.

"I'm a billionaire and you know it." Paige said.

"Emily, make sure you're in her last will and testament." Hanna said.

"Hanna! I don't care about Paige's money I love her for who she is." I said.

"Yeah she's Batlady." Hanna said.

"BATGIRL!" Paige and I shouted at the same time.

"Good now you're both fully awake now." Hanna said.

"Hanna, I love you but you have to leave before I kick your and yours unborn baby's ass." I said and Hanna sigh and started to walk out the door.

"If you guys aren't downstairs in ten minutes I'm coming back." Hanna said before she left.

"I wish Hanna would just bother Caleb instead of us." Paige said.

"I'm sure that the baby will keep her up when it's born." I said.

"Yeah, that'll be prof that karma exists." Paige said.

We both started to get dressed since we didn't wanted Hanna to get back upstairs and push us downstairs.

I couldn't help but sneak a peek at Paige as she was getting dressed. Seeing Paige in her just in her bra and panties was too sexy too look away. I fought the urge to walk up to her and kiss her all over her body, but if Hanna would walk up and see us she'd never stop joking that we couldn't keep it in our pants.

Paige looked back at me and I smiled.

"You like what you see?" Paige said.

"Maybe I do, maybe I don't." I answered.

"Well, I could lock the door." Paige said and walked up to me.

"Yeah, but Hanna would probably find another way in." I said.

"You got that right." I heard Hanna's voice from outside the hallway.

"HANNA! STOP EVESDROPPING!" We yelled.

"I'm not." Hanna said.

"She's an idiot." Paige said.

"I heard that." Hanna's voice responded quickly.

"How did you do that? You weren't eavesdropping." Paige said and we both heard Hanna groan as she left.

"Some people are just rude." Paige said.

"Maybe, but she's no way near as bad as your enemies." I said and started to put my pants on.

"Good thing for me, she knows who I am." Paige answered.

When we both got fully dressed we got downstairs where Hanna and Caleb were waiting for us.

"About time you two got here." Hanna said sounding impatient.

"What are you so excited about?" I asked.

"We're going for a walk around town." Hanna said.

"You're excited for that?" Paige asked.

"Yeah… did you hear that?" Hanna said and Paige and I just froze.

"That's the sound of no A." Hanna said and we smiled.

"When you put it that way a walk sounds nice." Paige said.

We walked around town and I saw people already starting to rebuild everything that A had ruined.

After a few minutes we got to a park and Hanna had to rest. She sat down on a bench and Caleb sat down next to her. Hanna rubbed her big belly and smiled.

"Soon we'll take our baby here." Hanna said and smiled to Caleb.

I liked how they got along and I felt happy for them, I leaned up against Paige and smiled at her.

"You made that possible." I whispered into her ear and lightly kissed her cheek.

Paige turned her head to me and we kissed softly.

"I love…" I said when my cellphone started to ring.

"… you" I said as I smiled sheepishly. I looked at my phone and saw that it was my mom calling.

"Hi mom." I answered the phone.

"Emmy, thank god you answered. I was worried when you didn't came home." My mom said over the phone.

"Sorry mom. I forgot about the time." I said.

"Ok, where are you now?" My mom asked.

"I'm at the park with Paige." I said and smiled to my amazing girlfriend.

"Paige? When did she get back?" My mom asked.

Oh shit, I forgot that we had told everyone that Paige had left the town before A closed it off.

"Yeah… I just bumped into her… she just got back last night." I lied, praying that my mom wouldn't get too suspicious.

"Well, then you must invite her over for dinner tonight." My mom said over the phone.

"Ok, I'll talk to her right now." I said and then my mom and I said our goodbyes.

I looked back at Paige and smiled very sheepishly "Paige, my mom wants you over for dinner tonight." I said and I noticed how uncomfortable Paige suddenly got.

"Come on Paige, you can fight A without showing any signs of fear, but you're nervous about dinner at my place?" I teased.

"To be fair I'm more used to that." Paige said.

"Come on, my mom likes you, that's why she wants you to come over." I said. And before Paige had any time to say something I leaned up very close against her giving her my best sad puppy face. "Pretty please, won't you come for dinner?" I asked looking right into Paige's eyes.

Paige blushed as I moved my lips closer to hers. "Please?" I said again and I knew I had Paige right where I wanted her.

"Yes." Paige said, looking like she wasn't aware of what she said.

"Yes!" I cried and pressed my lips against Paige's and started to suck on her bottom lip. Paige let out a soft moan as she started to open her mouth.

"Hey, this is a park for kids!" Hanna said to us and I awkwardly stopped kissing Paige. We both blushed by embarrassment as Caleb and Hanna looked at us.

Paige and I walked up next to Caleb and Hanna and we sat on the bench with them. "So. Do you know it it'll be a boy or a girl?" Paige asked.

"We honestly don't know." Caleb said.

"I want it to be a surprise." Hanna said.

"It'd be the first happy surprise in a long time." Paige said. Then we got up and Caleb had to help Hanna get up, once we kept walking I leaned up against Paige and whispered

"For me it'll be the second happiest surprise, the best was when I found out that you were alive." I really meant it, I'm so happy to still be with Paige and I'm reminded about that every time I'm with her.

Later:

After the walk Paige and I had to part since I felt that my mom really wanted me to get home and Paige was going to go to her parents company to see if they could financially help us to rebuild Rosewood. It'd probably be easy since she's the boss and now she knows it.

I walked up to the front door and when I opened it I saw my mom. She walked up to me and gave me a hug.

"I'm so glad to see you." My mom said.

"It's good to be home." I answered.

"Can you help me in the kitchen?" My mom asked and I nodded as I followed her to the kitchen.

"Did you hear the big news?" I asked.

"I don't think anyone haven heard it." Mom said.

"Good thing we got Batgirl." I said.

"Yes, but I still don't like that some lady dresses up at night and fights at night." My mom said and I got a bit disappointed to hear it.

"Don't get me wrong I trust her but I don't think anyone should believe that they are above the law." Mom continued, I could see that this conversation wasn't going anywhere.

"So, Paige is back in town?" My mom said.

"Yeah, Aria called my when I was on my way home and said she had seen Paige in the park so I just had to get there." I lied.

"Where is she now?" My mom asked.

"She went to her company, she's trying to get some help to rebuild and the company is making tons of money so she'll not have any problems." I said.

"Ok, will she be late for dinner?" My mom asked.

"She said she wouldn't but she might text me if something comes up." I said.

"Ok, did you two had a lot of things to talk about?" My mom asked.

"Yes, it's so great to finally see her." I said.

"I thought so, you sure like to gush about her." My mom said.

"MOM!" I screamed.

"What?" My mom said.

"Please, don't be embarrassing during the dinner." I said.

"Don't worry, I'm just going to serve the food, talk a little and show your baby photos." She said and I was seriously considering hiding that photo album.

"I'm just joking, that's what you get when you have me worrying all night." My mom said and smiled at me.

That night:

I heard the doorbell ringing and I ran downstairs to open it, once I was about to open the door I stopped and took a deep breath to calm myself down.

I opened the door and saw Paige standing there holding a huge bouquet of roses.

"For you my precious." She said and gave me the flowers.

"Hi Paige." My mom said as she walked up to Paige.

"Hi Pam, I got this for you." Paige said and held up a wine bottle.

My mom got the bottle and when she looked at it.

"This is a French Burgund, it's a really expensive brand." Mom said, it was a bit like she thought it was too much.

"It's nothing." Paige said.

"Paige, I know you're really rich but you don't have to buy fancy stuff to impress me." My mom said.

"I don't mind at all." Paige said. "And I've lost the receipt." Paige continued.

"Oh, ok." My mom said and looked at the bottle.

"Emily can you show Paige to the kitchen, I'll join you once I've found a corkscrew." My mom said.

Paige and I went to the kitchen and we sat down next to each other.

"Did I do something wrong?" Paige asked.

"No, my mom just keeps forgetting that you're a millionaire." I said.

"Well, actually I'm a billionaire, but I'd give up all those money if you'd ask me." Paige said.

"I'll remember that." I joked and Paige laugh.

My mom walked into the room serving the pot roast we had been cooking earlier today.

We started to eat and Pam picked up the wine bottle.

"This is the same brand that Emily's father bought when he was going to have his first dinner with my parents." My mom said.

"Really?" Both Paige and I asked.

"Yeah, he had to ask one of his parent to buy it for him since we both were sixteen at the time." My mom said. "My parents probably let me keep dating him since they loved the wine." My mom continued.

"I hope you'll like this one just as much." Paige said.

"I never got to try that bottle. My parents wouldn't let either me or Wayne take a sip." My mom said and opened the bottle.

"But I'm not my parents and this is a happy moment." She said and poured some for me and Paige to try.

I was a bit carful since my mom would freak out if she'd see me holding a beer can.

Paige was first to take a sip and I looked at my mom, she seemed very calm about it so I decided to try my drink.

"EMILY FIELDS, I THOUGHT I RAISED YOU BETTER THAN THAT!" My mom yelled as I took a sip.

I looked terrified at her and she had a stern look that made me drop the glass on the floor.

I was about to say I was sorry when my mom suddenly burst out laughing. "I got you." She said and Paige was laughing with her.

"Not funny." I said and Paige tried to hide her laughing by coughing.

"I'll get something to clean that up." My mom said and left the kitchen.

"I didn't thought your mom had a humor like that." Paige said.

"She usually doesn't joke like that." I said. I guess my mom was in a really good mood today.

"I don't think they thought the wine would end up on the floor when you got the bottle." I said and Paige smiled and pushed her glass to me so now I could at least try the wine.

My mom returned and put some paper towels over the wine stain.

"There, that should soak it up." She said and sat down on her place. Then we continued eating and after a few minutes the doorbell started to ring.

"That must be the desserts I ordered." My mom said and walked to answer the door.

"How am I doing?" Paige asked.

"If my mom liked you more she'd try to adopt you." I joked.

"Let's hope it won't go that far." Paige said.

"Yeah, I would feel weird you would become my stepsister, I don't think that would have worked out." I said and then we heard a crash.

"Mom?" I asked.

"It's ok Emmy, just stay where you are and I'll be back." My mom said.

She walked back but when we saw her standing in the door opening she looked really scared.

"What is it?" I asked then three of A's henchmen showed up behind her.

"Isn't this convenient? Police commissioner Fields is still unarmed and it seems like her daughter is here… no way Paige McCullers, the millionaire." One of the henchmen said as he looked over the table.

Paige tried to get up but one of the henchmen fired a gun in front of her.

"See that as a warning." He said.

"How much are they paying you? Because I can double it." Paige said.

"That won't happened, the boss would kill us." The henchman said and walked up to Paige.

"You are all coming with us." He said and I got up but Paige wasn't going to give up without a fight.

Paige's Pov-

"Such shame to leave the dinner." I said as I got up and then I grabbed the plate I had been eating from and smashed it against the henchman's head, then I punched him as hard as I could.

I wasn't wearing my bat suit so the punch hurt my hand for a while.

"That bitch is crazy." Another one said and he aimed his gun at me. I quickly crawled under the table as he fired his gun at me, after a few steps I flipped the table from underneath so it fell onto the henchman and I stomped the table hard to knock him out.

The last one walked up to punch me but he slipped on the wine stain and fell to the floor and dropped his gun. He tried to reach for it but Emily kicked it away and before he had any time to react I kicked him right in his face, his neck snapped back as he fell to the floor.

When I looked up Pam stood there looking at me.

I was about to talk my way out of it when I suddenly hear Emily scream "Look out behind you!" I turned around but something hit me right in the face. I fell to the floor and my sight was blurry as I tried to see who the man than suddenly had showed up behind me was.

"Some people just doesn't know when to give up." I heard a familiar voice say. It was Deathstroke.

"A sent me to get them, but I think this will be much more satisfying." He said as he held up his gun.

This was one of his games, he would knock someone down and let them get up so he could shoot them once they were standing on wobbly legs.

I got to my knees and sprinted towards Deathstroke but he sidestepped so I missed him and when I ran past him I knew I was doomed, I closed my eyes hoping it would be painless.

"No!" I heard Pam scream as I heard Deathstroke fire his gun. I thought I was dead but I opened my eyes and saw Pam lying on the floor bleeding from her stomach and gasping for air.

"Mom." Emily said as she ran up to Pam.

"No no no no no no… don't do this." She said as she put her hands on Pam's chest to stop her bleeding.

"I'll deal with you later." Deathstroke said as he left. Since he was supposed to kidnap Pam alive he now had to abandon his task to report the news to his boss, it was like a code he lived by.

"Paige… help me." Emily said and I ran to the phone and called 911.

"Send an ambulance quickly! There has been a murder attempt!" I said in the phone.

I could hear Emily cry as she was with her mom refusing to let her die. Pam was dying and there was no telling if she'd survive or not, and it was my fault.
