:Guess whose back and happier then ever?! Me! I have a new apartment and my own room, making so I am always alone! I have missed you all so much! I haven't written in so long and it hurts to know this, anyway! You've waited so long, I apologize if my writing is different, I'm a little rusty I suppose! But hey! Enjoy!:
Knock! Knock!
Malik grumbled as he rolled over on his side, placing his hands over his ears as he heard the loud obnoxious knocks erupting from his door. Why in the world was someone at the door?! He grabbed at his blanket, pulling it over his head as he tried to snuggle himself under the covers more, as if trying to come one with the cotton object. He had been having a good dream, one that involved him and a certain white haired male.
"Malik, get yourself out of bed this instant!" A harsh, stern voice demanded from the other side of the door. Malik could recognize that voice anywhere, why was Seto knocking on his damned door?! He mumbled out a soft 'No' as he shifted under his covers more, finding it easier to ignore the sounds now that he knew they came from Seto.
"If you don't get up, we are going to be late." Malik groaned loudly and sat up, throwing the covers off of him. He sent a hellish glare at the door, the glare looking more like a tired pout than the entitled purpose. He yawned into his hand as he sat up, looking briefly around his room, ignoring the pounds and yells coming from his closed door. His room, truth be told, looked exactly like Atemu's in anyone's point of view. But his was a tad bit less extravagant, after all, his room didn't radiant elegance like the main man's room.
Malik walked over to the loud door, taking his precious time and even checking how many lines there were in-between the walls of his room. He stood in front of the door and noticed a small golden circle, he placed his eye to it. He was only vaguely surprised when he looked through it and noticed an angered adviser on the other side. He rose an eyebrow as he took in a certain article of clothing on the other male.
"Why are you wearing the school's monkey suit?"
"It is not a monkey suit!" Seto replied, his face growing red with rage as he crossed his arms. He looked down at the suit and let out a groan as he readjusted his golden tie. The principal had ordered that all of them were required to wear the school's uniform to fit in. There was no way for Atemu or Malik to fit in, Seto thought, him and Mana however, just might. It wasn't due to their strange attitude, it was due to their hairstyle. Everyone at the school seemed to have somewhat normal hair, excluding Yugi and his friends. He still found it rather peculiar that the young male had the exact same hairstyle as the prince, well, not the exact, but close enough.
He had seen Yugi and 2 of his friends, though when Malik had returned back to the dorm he had mentioned another friend of Yugi's and that he was amazing in a sense. Perhaps he could meet him, and see if he is truly as amazing as Malik voiced, he had to approve of them or he would be worried sick about the poor boy being around them. At first he was a bit startled when Malik talked about a boy, but he could see it. Malik never did seem interested in girls.
Yugi seemed to be kind, despite having a little kick to his petite look, he really did look like a girl. But his attitude completely made you see that he wasn't, not that his attitude was manly, just due to the fact he looked like he'd kill you if you even dared mention that he even vaguely resembled a female.
He had seen a girl with Atemu at the theater before leaving, he vaguely remembered seeing her looking for him before she ran to a separate building. At first, Seto thought Atemu might have found a girl he liked, but those thoughts were thrown to the side when he noticed Atemu chasing after the poor boy he claimed to be his princess...
And Yugi's last friend? Seto leaned against the door of Malik's room, having been lost in his thoughts. He hit on the door hard enough and Malik had responded to him, so he had to be awake. He looked to the door and placed an ear against it in a calm matter that didn't look awkward. He could vaguely hear dressers being opened and Malik grumbling under his breath.
Seto sighed, returning to his thoughts of Yugi's friend. What was the boy's name? The blond one...The one with the shining, honey colored eyes. The one with the cheerful, adorable attitude. The one who had the face of a god, he looked so cute, and yet so bold. Seto never judged a book by it's cover, but by the look and sound of the blond, he seemed to be an energetic fellow. Much like the dog he had with him. He placed a head on his forehead, trying to force himself to remember. What was the adorable boy's name?! How could he not remember such a name to a face like that.
Seto's eyes widened. What on earth was he doing? He shook his head, what was he doing? Acting like this over some kid he didn't even really know. He had heard him talk, he had seen him, but he hadn't actually talked to him directly. Why was he going mad over the boy?! He had even thought about him last night before he rested! Seto blushed as he thought of the blonds smile and wave yesterday when he yelled and said hi to them in the theater. He thought of him smiling as he greeted him and the others for the first time, how happy he looked with the dog at his side. So cute...
"What is his name?!" Seto cried as he banged the back of his head on the door, right before it opened. He let out a yell as he fell backwards and landed harshly on his back, wrinkling his shirt and messing up his hair and tie. He closed his eyes as he groaned and rose a hand to the back of his head, he opened one eye to see Malik standing back, the door knob in one of his hands and the other resting on his hip. One of his eyebrows were quirked up in amusement, a smile on his face as he looked down at his friend. Seto couldn't help but notice that he, too, was wearing the school uniform, and he hadn't even heard about the order. Because you were too busy wandering about Yugi, his friends, and his certain friends to tell him. Seto blushed in embarrassment at both his thoughts and his actions.
"What is whose name?" Malik questioned, trying to hide his amusement. Seto glared up at him as he clambered up to his feet, trying not to fall back over due to not being used to the new shoes given to him. He dusted himself off and readjusted his tie with a 'hmpf!'
"No one." Seto responded blankly, he ran his eyes over Malik's person. "How did you know to wear the school uniform?" He questioned, changing the subject. Malik shrugged at the question as he waved a dismissive hand and headed out the door, Seto following behind.
"You were wearing it and as they say," He waited until Seto left the room to shut his door and smile at him. "Monkey see, monkey do." He thought for a moment before he jammed a finger in Seto's chest. "But don't look at 'Kura and think about doing him, that's mine." Seto rolled his eyes as he gestured down the hall. They walked side by side.
"I don't even know who 'Kura is."
"He's the boy I told you about last night."
"I figured that much."
"Then why'd you ask?"
"I was double checking."
"Uh huh..." Malik stopped in the main hall of their dorm, waiting in front of the main door. He looked around, crossing his arms and tapping his foot impatiently. Sure, he was tired, but they had to be woken up for a reason. He blinked in confusion as he rose his eyes to Seto.
"Wait," He spoke. "Why are we up so early anyway?" Seto rolled his eyes once more and put a hand to his forehead, as if he was acquiring a headache.
"Do you not know that we are to be choosing an event?" Seto said, his voice annoyed and tired, and his mind completely off topic. All he was thinking about was that blond wonder, what was that boy's name?!
"How are we choosing that?"
"We," Seto gestured at the two of them. "Are not choosing it. Atemu is."
"You just said we were going to."
"I meant just Atemu."
"What about Mana?"
"She's not choosing either."
"But you-"
"Will you be quiet?!" Seto snapped, glaring at his blond friend. Malik's eyes widened in shock, what was wrong with him? He looked down, unsure of why Seto was in such a bad mood. All he was doing was trying to be funny, he didn't have to get so mad.
Seto sighed, feeling bad instantly as he saw his friend look guilty. Malik hadn't done anything but be his annoying self, he shouldn't have yelled like that.
"I'm sorry..." Seto apologized. He scratched the back of his head. "I'm just..." He sighed. "I'm just thinking about something..."
"What about?" Malik asked softly, looking up, concern flooding his eyes as he gazed at his brown haired friend. Seto felt his cheeks heat up at the question, Malik had seen how he reacted to Joey, and he knew he'd probably make fun of him. But he was a friend, and he had known him for a while. Even being a adviser can't stop you from being a softy around friends, he told himself with a small smile in his mind.
"I just can't remember his name..." Seto admitted, looking at Malik directly. Malik's eyes widened as they blinked in confusion. His name?
"His?"
"Yeah..."
"Is that who you were talking about earlier with the 'What's his name?' stuff?"
"Yes."
"Oh..." Malik looked up in thought. Who could he be talking about? Seto wasn't one to forget certain people's names. One way to find out was to simply guess, but a more effective way would be to just ask for the names of the people he knew Seto saw yesterday.
"Seto." Malik spoke, Seto was already looking at him, he didn't need to say his name to get his attention. "What's the name of the boy I like?"
"'Kura." Seto responded blankly, at least that's what he thought the kid's name was. Malik nodded and shot off another question.
"What's the name of the boy Atemu likes?"
"Yugi."
"What's the name of the boy you like?"
"I don't know."
"Is that who it is?" Malik questioned, tilting his head to the side. Seto nodded hesitantly, he hated admitting he liked a guy, but he wasn't even sure if he really liked him. He could just think he looks cute, it would explain his attraction to him. But it didn't explain why he thought about him all damn night!
"Oh that's Joey." Malik said with a smile. Seto's eyes widened, blinking at his friend. Joey? That did sound familiar. Seto let out a small smile and nodded in thanks. Malik nodded back, not expecting Seto to voice his thanks to him. Seto only thanked people vocally if he didn't know them well or he was doing business, if he knew them well or he liked you, he nodded at you. It was strange but it was true. Every now and then he'd get mixed up, but it was funny to watch when he did.
"Joey..." Seto whispered under his breath. It was light on his tongue and it sounded entrancing coming from his lips. Malik's cheeks turned a slight pink at the sound of the other boy's name. It had sounded so...
"You got it bad..." Malik sung out, his hands behind his back like a little kid teasing another. Seto's face flushed and looked away, crossing his arms.
"I do not!" Seto argued, he only liked his appearance! It wasn't anything serious, he was not into that! He wasn't gay! He couldn't be! He liked him, but he didn't know him that well so it could be a mistake. Seto would not let himself make a mistake like Atemu and fall for a-
Seto looked around the empty area they were in. Malik looked at him, his position unmoved. He was surprised Seto didn't go off more on him about his teasing.
"What's up?" Malik questioned curiously with a tilt of his head. Seto grit his teeth and pulled back his sleeve to look at the time. They had ten minutes to get to the damn auditorium!
"Where the hell are those two?!"

"So, you think they noticed we left yet?" Mana asked, eying a crisp red apple in her hand, resting on the tips of her delicate fingers. She was sitting on top of a brown cylinder looking object. Atemu leaned against it, biting into his own apple in his hands. He shrugged, closing his eyes and savoring the taste of the red fruit in his hands. They both were clothed in the school uniform, they liked the uniform. It felt nice to wear something that wasn't too elegant.
"No," Atemu replied, swallowing his bite. "They are probably still waiting for us in the main entrance." Mana giggled and nodded in agreement. The two had woken up 30 minutes early and had left without the other two, wanting to get there early and have enough time to enjoy breakfast. Sure, they had breakfast laid out for them, but they still preferred their fruit over everything in the morning. Right now, they were resting behind the curtains of the auditorium. In the center of the area was a large clear ball with multiple pieces of paper in it. If the two siblings didn't know any better, they would have thought it was a strange decoration.
"I hope they're not too mad..." Mana spoke, balancing the apple on two of her fingers now. Atemu shrugged, crossing his arms with his half-eaten apple in one of his palms. He looked up at the dark ceiling, closing his eyes and noticing how his blank mind forced itself to think of a certain Prince of the sun. Yugi. He opened his eyes, now beginning to squeeze the apple in his hand. He felt bad for touching Yugi the way he did, and he felt worse when he felt how energetic he felt from just touching him. How he had wanted to take it further and he had just met the boy!
Atemu smiled at the thought of the bet, it was going to be easy. Everyone fell for him easily, Yugi might be playing hard to get, but he wouldn't lose so easily. 4 events within the month and within that time he had to get Yugi to love him? Easy. He turned his eyes to Mana, noticing how she had a dreamlike look on her face. Oh? He smiled and nudged her leg with his elbow.
"Hey," He spoke, Mana looked down at him. "What're you thinking about? You have this dreamlike look on your face." Mana's face turned a light red before she bumped the apple in the air delicately and caught it effortlessly, she crossed her arms.
"I could say the same about you, brother." She said, narrowing her eyes. "What about you? What are you thinking about?" Atemu shrugged as he smirked and tossed a glance at her.
"Yugi." He purred, feeling his heart react just by voicing his name. He turned his eyes back to the ceiling. God, how could he fall this hard? And why didn't he mind? He had already sealed the deal, if he loves you by the end of the month. He marries you. Atemu could hear the wedding bells already.
Mana could almost feel her eye twitch, did Atemu still think Yugi was a girl?! Yugi was Anzu's friend, and Yugi was also her friend, she couldn't sit there now and say nothing! What would Yugi do if Atemu did something stupid?! What would Anzu think?
"You do know Yugi is a guy," She narrowed her eyes at her brother, confused only for a second when he didn't show a reaction to the sentence. "Right?" Atemu returned his eyes to her and rose an eyebrow.
"Yeah, why?" Mana almost fell off the object she was sitting on. Wait what?!
"You know he's a guy?!"
"Yeah."
"For how long?!"
"Ever since I chased him behind the stage." Mana's mind paused for a second. He found out...after chasing him behind the stage? Mana's mind created weird and...disturbing images at this knowledge.
"H-How did you figure that out?" Atemu's face flushed at the question. Okay, you need to lie, fast! Atemu told himself, he couldn't tell his sister that he practically molested him to figure out his gender!
"I asked." He said, his eyes looking back to the ceiling. Mana doubted that, but she really didn't want to know...
"Ah..." She uttered out. "Okay...So you're gay?" Atemu felt a sting to his pride when she spoke that, sure he admitted it to himself. But it didn't fit a Pharaoh-to-be for some reason.
"Y-Yeah..." He whispered. "I guess I am..." He felt his heart racing, yeah he was gay, he guessed. It was odd, taking in that knowledge. But who wouldn't go gay for Yugi! He was just too...Perfect!
"Great." Mana groaned out. "Mom and Dad are going to be pissed..." Atemu felt fear course through him. Oh yeah, he forgot about them. Anzu had mentioned that since he was royalty that he was required to find a girl to marry, that was kind of true. He needed to reproduce.
"W-Why?"
"Their only son is gay, the one meant to be the next Pharaoh."
"Egypt has had a female Pharaoh before, why don't you take over?"
"There's a problem with that."
"Oh? What's that?"
"I like a girl."
"Oh..." Atemu spoke blankly, until his mind processed the information and shot up from his leaning position. "Wait what?!" Mana blushed and looked down, her arms now uncrossed and her hands playing with the apple in her hands. She wandered vaguely if she could hide her soul in the crisp red fruit.
"Y-Yeah..." She whispered. "I met her yesterday..." Atemu blew out a breath and ran his hand over his face.
"Okay..." He breathed out. "Mom and Dad aren't going to be pissed. They are going to be royally pissed."
"Was that a pun?"
"No."
"Just making sure."
"Who is the girl?" Atemu questioned, changing the subject. Might as well find out who his sister has a crush on. Mana looked down and smiled at remembering her. Anzu, such a pretty, cute girl. Her eyes sparkled, her skin glowed, she was radiating inner and outer beauty and shined as bright as the sun itself. Ra surely blessed that girl with a glorious Aura.
"A girl named Anzu." She whispered. Atemu's eyes widened.
"Anzu?" He spoke out, almost in question. Mana lifted her eyes to her brother, confused now at her brother's expression.
"Yes," Mana said, narrowing her eyes in suspicion. "Do you know her?" Atemu let out an awkward chuckle.
"Y-You could say that..." He gulped. "S-She helped me get close to Yugi yesterday." Mana's heart flared in jealousy. Her brother had been with Anzu?! Could they have been alone?! She knew that her brother was into Yugi, but just knowing that Anzu might have a slight interest in Atemu made her furious!
"You don't like her that way..." Mana jumped off the item she was sitting on, the item rocking slowly as she strode over to her brother, who now was backing up against the glass ball. "Do you?" Atemu could feel sweat rolling down his back.
"N-No!" Atemu spat out quickly, he held his hands out defensively. "I-I already claimed Yugi as the one I want to marry! Please, do not worry!" Mana withdrew herself, feeling her heart's flare be extinguished with relief. Thank Ra that her brother had already found someone...But her someone was helping Atemu get with his someone...
"Hey..." Mana breathed out. "Do you mind doing something for me, brother?" Atemu froze at the tone, it was overly sweet and yet dangerously poisonous. That meant she was going to ask something and that you'd better say yes or you'd be in trouble. She had acquired it from mom, both him and his dad feared this tone.
"You said Anzu has been helping you get close to Yugi." Mana placed her hands behind her back, the apple still held in one of the hands. "So how about, you be a good big brother and help me get close to Anzu." Atemu's eyes shot out of his skull.
"W-What-"
"It helps both of us!" Mana said happily. "Anzu helps you get with Yugi, and you help me get with Anzu! It's so romantic and clever, don't you think?" She giggled with excitement as she thought of the plan that was coming into play. While Anzu could be setting up opportunities for Yugi and Atemu to meet up and get to know each other, Atemu could be setting up the exact same opportunities for her and Anzu! What a perfect set up!
"O-Okay..." Atemu agreed, his brow sweating from being nervous. Mana giggled and jumped forward, hugging her brother close to her.
"Yay!" She cheered as she released him, causing him to fall into the giant clear bowl of paper. Mana looked down at her hand as she rose it and finally took a bite out of the apple in the palm of it.
Atemu groaned as he placed a hand on his forehead. Sure, he wouldn't mind helping his sister get with Anzu, but he minded only a little because what would Yugi think of it? Him and Anzu seemed to be close and he didn't want Yugi to dislike him, he had to get him to love him within a month for Ra's sake!
The two siblings looked toward the right side of the area to see Malik and Seto walking in from the shadows, both looked quite annoyed.
"Oh hey guys." Mana chuckled awkwardly, she gestured to their clothes with the apple. "The uniform looks good on you two." Atemu sighed and sank down into the bowl of paper as he rose his hand and extended three fingers, counting down from three...two...one...
"Don't you ever leave us behind like that again!"
"Oh come on, it was just this once!"
"I do not care! We were supposed to come here together."
"You sound like a mother..."
"I do not!"
"Well, we're all here right?"
"Yeah, but that does not mean I am going to let up on you that easily!"
"And here comes the lectures..."
:Seto, calm down. Bro. Calm down. Just...do it. XD Updates will be a little slow, due to me having to get back into the rhythm of things, but I hope you liked this one because it took a long time! I love you all so much and thank you all for waiting! See you next chapter!:
