Nami watched as the townspeople ran off to tell the other villages and soon Nojiko and a few others of the helped give the Strawhats some privacy and a doctor. Nami went up to the slim girl who was being looked at and cringed as she saw the cuts in her. "Luffyko…"

"I'm fine. Have the doctor check Zoro, Sanji, and Ussop first. They are more injured than I am, just give me some meat and I will be as good as new!"

Nami nodded and directed the attention of the doctor to Zoro to fix up his previous injury, "Zoro, are you still alive?"

"No thanks to Luffyko." He muttered only to see the girl stick her tongue out at him. "How's the cook?"

"Doing better than you." Sanji said as Genzo started his treatment.

Usopp tried to push Nojiko away but soon he was being treated, "Luffyko are you sure you are okay? Didn't he bite you?" He looked over and saw the blood dripping down her arm from her elbow and both hands also had blood dripping from them.

Luffyko just gave a light laugh and sat down, a little heavier than normal, "Nah, you are worrying too much. That shark couldn't do much to me."

Zoro looked at her carefully and saw the blood through his shirt. He couldn't help but feel inferior again. She had saved them, if it wasn't for her they would be dead. He knew she had to fight Arlong, but why couldn't he have helped her more. If she hadn't been thrown into the ocean the battle would have went faster for her. He still needed to get stronger he needed to be able to protect her, or at the very least stand next to her. "Nami get her presentable, we need to check her injuries. She is still bleeding."

Nami quickly looked at the slim girl and saw the small pool of blood collecting around her. She quickly opened the blue vest so she could see the damage and saw the teeth marks in her stomach and the cuts across her chest. She quickly began to bandage the girl's chest. When she was done she noticed the girl was completely safe from exposing her self, for once, so she took off the button down to check for other injuries. "Luffyko…" She muttered gathering the rest of the guys attention.

Zoro felt rage flow through him then. The slim girl was covered in bite marks he could only imaging what damage lay beneath the bandages. He realized the one that upset him most wasn't the injury to her elbow or hands, not even the puncture to her side or the teeth marks poking out of her bandages. Instead it was the deep bite marks into her shoulder and neck. He watched carefully as she was treated, making sure the doctor wrapped and treated every injury she had taken. He heard Nami ask if it would scar and heard that it shouldn't with proper care. Once she was bandaged he stood up and picked her up, "I'll be back."

Luffyko looked up at the swordsman and then leaned into his arms. She never realized how big or strong he was until she was in his arms. "I'm sorry I threw you." She whispered, shy for the first time in her life.

Zoro grunted than stopped setting her down on a fallen tree. "Are you sure you are okay? You don't have to pretend everything is okay."

Luffyko looked up at the swordsman in surprise. "Of course I'm okay. There is no way I was going to let that fish bastard beat me."

Zoro gave a small smile and then pulled her into his arms and hugged her, "Don't ever lose to anyone."

Luffyko hugged him back and then pulled away with a grin, "Of course, I'm going to be the Pirate King." Then she began to take deep breaths and then grinned, "Food!"

Zoro sighed and watched as the small girl took off towards the village. He shook his head that girl was something else. He went back to the crew and saw Sanji storm towards him, "What?"

"Where is our lovely captain? What did you do to her?!" He demanded as he looked around him searching for clues to his missing captain.

"She went to eat. Anyone would know that."

"Then why did you carry her off? You didn't try anything with my adorable captain did you?"

Nami laughed and then looped arms with Sanji, "Let's just go get some food shall we?"

Usopp watched as Sanji walked off with a grin and rolled his eyes, "He already forgot about Luffyko didn't he."

"Yep. Let's go join in then, I could use some beer."

Usopp looked over and screamed then, "Zoro, your wound is open again!"

Nami turned around and saw Zoro's chest bleeding, stitches torn, "You idiot! Did you get so worked up over Luffyko's injuries you completely forgot about your own?! Sanji!"

"Yes, Nami!"

"Go get him to the doctors, Usopp you too. I'm going to take care of some business. Got it."

"Yes, Nami-love!" Sanji called out as she turned around and walked off.

Usopp looked at him and shook his head, "He is an idiot."

Meanwhile…

Luffyko was munching on another ham someone had given her when she heard more screaming. "Hmm…that sounds like Zoro." She walked over and then heard the doctor about getting a doctor on their ship, "A doctor that's not a bad idea." She said as she crept in to look at her first mate. "But we need a musician first, right Zoro?"

Zoro looked up at the girl, surprised she had appeared, "Why?"

"Because pirates love to sing! Don't you know?"

"So why is that more important?" He rasped out and then watched as she completely ignored him.

"Hey doctor, where's Nami? I don't see her anywhere."

"Well if she's not here, then she must be there."

"Where's there?"

Zoro glared at his captain, "Just go eat some food, when she's ready she will show up."

"That sounds like a great idea!"

Zoro rolled his eyes as his captain disappeared. He caught glimpses of her the next three days, and always eating. He finished another beer and leaned back against the building.

"Boy I'm full." Sanji said as he went across from the swordsman. "It's nice to have someone feeding me for once. How's your wound, Zoro?"

"With some rest and a good meal, I'll heal up soon enough." He looked out over the crowd and rolled his eyes, "Seriously, why is this party still going on? It's been three days."

Sanji grabbed a cigerette, "Isn't that a good thing? When your happy, you should be able to enjoy yourself."

"Hey Sanji! You were eating some kind of melon earlier, what was it?"

Zoro turned and saw his captain eating a hunk of cheese and carrying all assortments of food with her, "What about all the food you've got in your hands?"

"Oh that was a Raw-Ham Melon"

"Raw-Ham Melon?! That sounds tasty!"

Zoro rolled his eyes, "And she's gone. Seriously what is up that girl."

Sanji looked at him sternly and smirked, "You have some weird tastes, but I'll leave you be. It's time to pick up chicks!"

Zoro rolled his eyes and went to find himself another drink. When the party finally rolled to an end he went to find his captain. He found her asleep beside a plate of apples and laughed at the site of her. He went over and gently picked her up and carried her to the ship. He adjusted his hold and carried her up the rope ladder then into the captain's room where a hammock was set up beside the bed. He gently put her in and then brushed a strand of her hair out of her face, "Good night, Luffyko." He saw the girl smile and then slowly left the room shutting the door behind him.

Luffyko woke up on the ship with surprise, "How did I get here?" She shook her head and crawled out of the hammock and walked on deck. The crew was gathering supplies and placing them on deck, "Everything's on deck?"

Usopp was carrying the last crate to the storage area when he heard his captain, "Yeah!"

"Alright then, they stocked us with food. Looks like we are ready." Sanji said as he took a drag of his cigarette.

"We've only been here a few days, but I feel like we have made so many memories on this island, y'know?" Usopp asked.

Zoro turned away as he felt blush came to his face. All he could think of was Luffyko. Luffyko on the other hand laughed, "Yeah!"

Yosaku and Johnny stood by the entrance and once they had managed to get the Strawhats attention they told them they were returning to their bounty hunting jobs. Johnny winked at Zoro who glared at him, "Take care, a'right?" He said down to them half serious and half threatening. Making the bounty hunters grin and laugh at the swordsman.

"Alright, let's get going!" Usopp said with a grin.

Sanji looked around then, "Hey…Hey wait a minute, what about Nami?"

Zoro looked at him with a small glare, "I thought she wasn't coming."

"What?! You bastard! You said something rude to her again didn't you? Sanji screamed as he went to confront the swordsman.

Zoro looked at him bored, "Why would I do that?"

"Who else! You're trying to get in between me Nami's true love!"

"Are you stupid?"

"What did you say!" Sanji overheard Usopp saing she didn't really need to be a pirate anymore and she would probably be happier staying on the island, he turned his fury on the long nosed boy, "WHAT ABOUT MY HAPPINESS!" He went to yell at his captain and saw her standing in her shorts and red vest and then calmed down and turned into tears, "If Nami love doesn't get on board I lose 67.8% of the reason being on this ship. Would you make that up for me Luffyko?"

Luffyko remembered something then and glared at him, "You know I never found that melon."

Zoro held back his laugh at Luffyko's reaction to Sanji's attempt to woe her. "Idiot." He muttered under his breath, Luffyko's reactions were mostly based on food. He looked up and saw Nami then.

"Nami!" Sanji screamed with excitement getting everyone's attention on the redheaded girl.

"START THE SHIP OUT!" She ordered as she started running towards them.

Usopp looked at her in surprise, "Huh, What's up with her? She started running?"

"She said to set sail." Luffyko said sternly, surprising the long nosed boy at her tone.

Sanji watched as they prepared the ship and began to set it sail. He went up to the slim captain and took a hit of his cigarette, "Are you sure you wanna let her leave this way?"

"It's alright, it's her decision." The girl watched as the redhead leap from the docks onto the ship and faced away from her friends and family. Then she slowly lifted her shirt and let the wallets of everyone on the island fell to the ground. She grabbed a 10,000 Beli note and kissed it before turning to the people, "Take care of everyone!"

Usopp glared at the girl, "She hasn't changed a bit."

Zoro had a frown on his face, "Who knows when she will turn on us again."

"Nami! Good!" Sanji said simply excited that she was on board.

Luffyko laughed at the antics of her navigator when she saw Genzo give her a look. He had asked her to take care of Nami, and if Nami ever lost her smile he would hunt them down. Luffyko gave a thumbs up to show she remembered. She walked up beside her navigator and put a hand on her shoulder, "Ready?"

Nami hugged the girl and noddd, "Yes, thank you for everything." She pushed the girl away then and smiled, "Let's go so I can create a map of the world!"

"To the Grand Line!"
