Epilogue

Taigā smirked as Don beeped the horn. Her smirk turned into full on laughter when Mikey burst through the doors. "Era, era, era, era, DJ Mikey in the house!" She shook her head at her little brother as April began walking towards the truck.

"What are you guys doing here?" Leo leaned out of the passenger window.

"We figured we owed you thanks, for keeping our secret." April peeked in the back, where Taigā was sitting next to Raph.

"We know you got a lot to gain from tellin' people about us, but you had our backs." April smiled at the terrapin.

"Yeah. Because that's what family's for Raph." He laughed at her, shaking his head. Taigā elbowed him.

"Told ya'!" He growled good-naturedly, ruffling her hair. "OW! Ears!" His hand immediately recoiled.

"Sor-" He stopped mid-apology at her smirk. "Why you little…. com'ere you!" Taigā squealed in mock fear, jumping out of the truck. Raph followed her, arms outstretched.

"Hi April! Bye April!" Taigā screamed as Raph swiped at her. Leo groaned, pinching his nose. April chuckled at the siblings.

"So… you guys are driving now?" Vern sounded incredulous.

"Yeah, man!" He jumped at Taigā's voice. "Don tricked this bad boy out!" She jumped inside again, crossing her legs. Raph climbed in next to her, playfully flicking her forehead. She didn't seem to notice. "It's got a forty-two inch plasma with the NBA package, shave ice machine, and 7.1 digital surround sound."

Don chuckled. "No big."

"Check out the basses, bra!" Mikey ducked inside, pressing two buttons. Taigā's face drooped.

"Uh oh." As soon as she finished saying that, the missile that Mikey had accidently armed hit Vern's car. Taigā and Raph glanced at each other, Mikey, each other, Leo and Don, and then each other again.

"My bad. Still, figuring out the buttons."

"That was my new Fenwick Express!" Taigā's eyebrow quirked while her shoulders drooped. 'Really? Yeesh this guy's got issues.' Her ears pricked at the sound of sirens.

"We better get going. Fire trucks in route." She looked at April. "Want a ride home?" The brunette turned to Vern, who was starting to hyperventilate.

"You know, I think we're going to take the subway. We're going to take the subway."

"You sure? I got a real nice song that's all queued up."

"No don't."

"It's special girl. For us!"

"Come on Mikey!" Leo rolled up the window. Mikey started playing the song.

"Nah come on man. She doesn't want to hear that!" Taigā mouthed 'sorry' to April as she and Raph tried to drag Mikey back into the truck.

"Stop singing right now. Leo! I'm gonna hit him!"

"Raph! Don't you dare!" Taigā and Raph finally succeeded in pulling Mikey in.

"Three…"

"Oh come on!"

"Two… if I get to one…"

"SHUT UP MIKEY!" As they began to drive away, Mikey threw open the back doors, singing. Raph immediately launched himself at his little brother, straining to pull the younger turtle inside. Taigā eventually pitched in by poking Mikey's knees, making him crumble.

Raph flashed a grateful glance at his little sis once Mikey was safely inside and unconscious. "Raph…" Leo turned around, glaring at the hot-head. "Was it really necessary to knock Mikey out?"

"Yes." The blue-masked terrapin stared at his brother before turning his gaze to Taigā. She just shrugged, crossing her hands underneath her armor-clad breasts.

"Hey. Do you want to listen to him sing all the way back home?" Leo sucked in a breath through his teeth.

"Touché." She smiled at him, crawling over to kiss his nose. He pressed into her, rubbing his nose on hers.

"Relax. He'll wake up in the morning." Leo shrugged, shifting in his seat again to face forward. Taigā wrapped her arms around Leo's neck, resting her chin on his shoulder. "Whenever you're ready, Don." The scientist beamed, punching a button. Rockets immediately shot the truck forward into the night.

Taigā whooped, the others joining in. 'You know something?' she thought as she looked around her new family: Raphael, the hot-head, Donatello, the geek, Michelangelo, the wild one, and Leonardo, the protective one and her boyfriend/mate. 'It's not so bad, living in NYC. Especially when your family is a kick-ass ninja team.' She smiled to herself. 'This… is my home. This… is where I belong.'

*Breaks down sobbing* I can't believe this is over! Maybe I'll right a few Taigā/Leo one-shots or an extra little fic based of this one. Tell me what you think! Thanks again to all of my lovely (again, or handsome if you're male) followers, favoriters, and/or reviewers!
