: I hate junior year in high school so far. I HATE IT! I am incredibly sorry that this is late, my school work piled up and I had no idea what to do. I apologize for all these late updates, but since I'm in an AP class I don't think I can help it. I hope you all enjoy this chapter!:

Atemu leaned back, tilting his head back on the edge of his chair and let out a groan as he closed his eyes. How many quizzes had he sat here for? Fifty? A hundred? Only Ra would know. He took a deep breath, he had to survive all these quizzes, but he was so tired and not to mention annoyed by the fact every time a girl scored higher than a 80 on the quiz they would squeal and then proceed to tell him that they can't wait to see him later. Like he would want to see them later. He didn't like any of the girls and, surprisingly, guys that walked around the curtain.

His mind wandered for a moment, noticing how the next person was taking their sweet time walking behind the curtain. Usually the person would rush behind the curtain when it was their turn. Oh well, Atemu didn't care. He wondered how his friends were doing and, of course, how Mana was handling all of these quizzes. He couldn't tell because before the quizzes started, Pegasus had ordered other students to put other curtains around them so that each of them could have some privacy. It wasn't like they had to take the quiz every time, all they had to do was take the quiz once to tell the computer what they wanted in a partner. Then if the person across from them answered with what they picked, they would get a high score. There was only ten questions, so it was an even number.

Atemu opened his eyes, looking up into a bright blue sky and narrowed them. Okay, this was ridiculous. Where in the world was the next person? He didn't care, but it had been five minutes. Had no other students wanted to come take his quiz, that had to be impossible. He had seen the line, and it was long as hell. He re-closed his eyes, beginning to hear the faint sound of shoes walking in grass. Finally, time to get this over with...

"Well, don't you look exhausted?" A voice observed. Atemu's eyes shot open as his face began to turn a slight pink and his heart began to speed up. Only one voice sounded like that, and only that voice could make his heart react like this. He straightened his body quickly, placing his arms on the table and staring at who was standing across from him.

Yugi stood there, his arms crossed and an amused expression on his face with his eyebrow risen. Atemu opened and closed his mouth as he felt it run dry, why was Yugi here?! Was he bribed? Did he lose a bet? No Yugi didn't seem like the person who would run two bets at once...

"Y-Yugi?" Atemu breathed out, finally finding his voice. "W-What're you doing here?" Yugi closed his eyes and shrugged, a smirk coming onto his face. Atemu could feel his heart going faster, was he dreaming? Yugi was here, behind the curtain, the same curtain that meant a person wanted to take the compatible quiz...Did Yugi want to see how compatible he was with him?

"I was ordered by the principal to come and visit you." Yugi explained. "So, don't get any funny ideas, okay?" He spoke with an overly sweet tone laced with menace as his smirk dropped and was replaced with a smile. Atemu still couldn't help getting those funny ideas. The sheer fact that Yugi had even agreed to come visit him was surprising him.

"I thought you hated me?" Atemu questioned. He knew that Yugi didn't hate him, but the beautiful boy would tell him he did on multiple occasions. Yugi shrugged at the question as he removed the smile from his face.

"I do, but it was an order from the principal." He sighed, moving his eyes to the curtain. "So, I'm going to guess about what's wrong with you." Atemu furrowed his eyebrows, wasn't it obvious about what was wrong with him? Not only was he tired and annoyed, but he was now flustered as hell because the boy he loved was here in front of him!

"You're tired and annoyed." Yugi guessed, pointing at Atemu with his hand in the form of a fake gun. Atemu chuckled, nodding at his guess. He hit the mark.

"Okay, well I think I'll be taking my leave now." Yugi yawned. "I was ordered to visit you, but I wasn't ordered to stay." Yugi turned around and made his way to the curtain. Atemu narrowed his eyes in sadness, he didn't want Yugi to leave. In fact, he wanted Yugi to stay and...He turned his eyes to the computer in front of him.

"Why don't you want to stay?" Atemu asked, stopping Yugi in his tracks. The boy turned around slightly, his expression giving away his answer before he even said anything.

"Because I hate you and I don't want to stay."

"Are you scared?" Yugi turned completely around to face the royal, his expression turning angry. Was he pulling the scared threat again?!

"Scared? Why the hell would I be scared?" Atemu smirked at his question, oh there was plenty of reasons why he would be scared.

"One might be for the fact you are still...taking in the aftereffect of our date." Yugi's face flushed a bright pink. "Two might be because you think if you stay around you'll fall for me." Yugi glared harshly at him. "And three might be because you're scared that if you stay, I'll do something."

"The third option is correct, but the other choices are completely and utterly incorrect!" Yugi yelled, anger laced in his tone. "Did you not hear me? I hate you!"

"Why don't you prove that to me then?" Atemu asked, an idea sparking in his mind. He told himself earlier that Yugi wouldn't take two bets at once, but maybe, just maybe he would.

"How would I prove that to you?" Yugi questioned, his tone and glare getting harsher and harsher with each second that passed. What was the royal thinking? Why was he looking at him like that? Was he being stupid again?

"Let's make another bet, Yugi." Sirens erupted in Yugi's mind. Oh hell no, not another one! Atemu's smirk only grew as he saw Yugi's face turn brighter at the mention of another bet. Good, he still remembered the main bet.

"W-What? Another? You're-"

"Take the quiz." Atemu began to explain. "And if you get lower than a 70 you may leave and you will not be bothered by me at all for 1 week." Yugi's eyes widened, that sounded nice... "But, if you score higher than a 70. You are required to stay here with me until the end of this event, and tomorrow you are to teach me how to make something in your cooking class." This was an easy bet. Yugi thought, there was no way he was compatible with this idiot. So, why not take it? He couldn't possibly score higher than a 70, so he didn't have to worry. He was curious about what the royal wanted to make, but he didn't care. Yugi knew he wouldn't find out, because he knew he would win.

"Fine, I'll take it."

Mana leaned on the table, twirling a strand of her hair as she awaited the next student to walk through the curtain. She sighed, looking toward the curtain. Couldn't the person hurry up already? She didn't have all day! She looked at her computer screen, showing her what she had selected for the other person to choose. This quiz was kind of stupid when she thought about it. A quiz doesn't tell you how compatible you were with someone, it was just some stupid fortune telling device that lied to you. She could understand why people liked it though, it was romantic.

She looked through the questions and pouted, knowing that she couldn't change her answers. The only question that wasn't graded against the student quizzing was about their sexuality. The computer determined that based on the answer the question they had to answer before anything else. At the beginning of the quiz you had to put in if you were a boy or a girl. And if you were there quizzing with the same gender as you, then it would put in that you were a homosexual from the very beginning. She thought it was stupid.

Mana closed her eyes, starting to hear someone move the curtain and walk to her. Okay, lets see if this one is a fast quiz taker.

"You look tired, Mana..." A voice spoke worriedly. Mana opened her eyes quickly, looking up to see Anzu standing up and looking at her from across the table. She felt her face heat up, Anzu was here?!

"A-Anzu!" Mana exclaimed, standing up quickly and walking the other side of the table. She stood in front of Anzu, taking in the sight of her. Anzu intertwined her hands together as the royal looked at her, she smiled sweetly at Mana.

"Hi." Anzu whispered, knowing her heart was racing. She didn't understand why she was like this still. But she felt happy knowing that Mana cheered up and looked instantly awake when she spoke.

"What're you doing here?" Mana asked, a smile coming onto her face. She felt her fingers burn with a great desire to hold the girl in front of her. She wanted to hug her so badly! Her heart was racing and she knew her face was bright red.

"I-I just..." Anzu looked away, her own face turning brighter. "I thought I'd come and see you." She smiled, knowing that it was okay to lie about this sort of thing. She couldn't think of how hurt Mana would be if she told her she was just following orders from their principal.

"Y-You wanted to see me?" Mana questioned, her heart about to burst from how happy she was. Anzu giggled and nodded. Mana couldn't help it, she couldn't hold it in any longer. She wrapped her arms around Anzu's waist and pulled her close, holding her tightly. Anzu's face burned as she felt the royal do this, what was she doing?!

"I'm so happy." Mana whispered, resting her chin on Anzu's shoulder and pulling her closer than possible. Anzu bit her lip, her body was getting hot from the closeness of the royal and she knew that the girl could feel her heartbeat, after all she could feel her's. It was going faster than her own!

"I-I'm glad." Anzu whispered back, wrapping her arms around Mana's neck and hugging her back. She thought about the position, isn't this how couples hug each other? She quickly erased that thought from her mind, no they weren't a couple! And she didn't like Mana that way...Her heart answered her statement with a harder heartbeat. What was wrong with her?!

"Anzu..." Mana leaned back, looking down at the girl in front of her. They were around the same height, but Mana was still about an inch taller. She closed her eyes, leaning forward. Anzu's eyes widened, what was she doing?! Her question was answered when she felt Mana place her forehead against her own, Anzu could have cooked an egg with how hot her face became.

"Thank you." Mana whispered sweetly, an emotion hidden in her words that Anzu couldn't place. Anzu smiled, closing her eyes as well and relaxing in the royal's arms.

"You're welcome." She reopened her eyes at the same time Mana did hers, they caught each others gaze, their eyes unmoving from the other pair. Mana knew her eyes drifted down to Anzu's lips, but now was not the time.

"Hey Anzu?"

"Hmm?"

"Since you're already here..." Mana removed her arms from around Anzu, letting one of her hands glide over to Anzu's hand to take it into her own. She gestured to the computers.

"Would you like to take the quiz?" Mana questioned, hoping that Anzu would say yes. She had told herself that she didn't believe in these sort of things, but it would be nice to know just for fun.

Anzu bit her lip, not knowing how to answer. Did she want to take the quiz? It was just a quiz, sure. But it was to determine if you were compatible with the person or not. She looked at Mana, noticing how much she wanted to. She could see it in her eyes, as if she was begging her to take it. She wanted to know...Anzu couldn't stop herself from wanting to know as well. She took a deep breath and smiled as she squeezed Mana's hand.

"I'd love to."

Malik slammed his head down onto the table with a harsh force and let out a loud groan. He didn't want to sit through another Ra forsaken quiz! This was boring as hell! He beat his head harder onto the table, it was something to do so he could do it! Why did they have to sit through a quiz with the stupid person who walked through the curtain? Couldn't they just give their answers and then go do something else? There were hundreds, no thousands of things he'd rather do then sit here and wait for the person to finish the quiz.

All you have to do is take the quiz and sit there. That's all they had to do! It was fun at first, because of the reactions people would give him after they saw their percentage. But after a while, it got boring. Malik had only sat here for around a million of them, it wasn't like he got bored easily or anything! Heck the least the jet pack man could do is give them permission to browse the internet as they sat there waiting for the next person. And speaking of them, where the hell were they?!

Malik beat his head more on the desk, the noise of it covering the sounds of footsteps walking toward him. He began to hit his head harder, knowing if he didn't stop he'd give himself a headache, and he didn't know how to massage his own scalp. He felt a warm hand press itself against his forehead, halting him from slamming his head onto the table again. Malik let out a gasp as the hand jerked him back and made him look up. His eyes widened as he looked up, not to see a bright blue sky, but a pair of chestnut colored eyes.

"You really aren't okay, are you?" Bakura voiced, smiling down at the wide eyed royal. Malik felt his face turn into a bright flame and his heart turn into a jackrabbit running a marathon.

"B-Bakura." Malik breathed out. Bakura rose an eyebrow and chuckled.

"That's my name." He laughed, letting go of Malik's forehead and placing his hands in his pockets. Malik turned his body around in his chair, looking up at the silver haired teen.

"Why, what, how..." Malik uttered out, his mouth not able to form a legitimate sentence. Bakura rose an eyebrow, was the royal really okay?

"How; I walked behind the curtain." Bakura began to explain in a mocking tone. "What; I am paying you a visit and why..." Bakura paused, thinking for a moment. "Why; Because someone had to make sure you weren't killing yourself." Okay, so he lied. He just didn't feel like telling Malik he came to see him because of Mr. Maximillion, it would break the poor guy's heart. But then again, why would he care?

"You were worried about me?" Malik asked, his eyes growing wide as he processed the information. Bakura allowed a bright pink to spill onto his cheeks, he wasn't worried! He was ordered to come here! There was no way he was worried!

"I suppose." Bakura answered, darting his eyes away to the side curtain that gave the royal privacy. Great, he had told himself he wasn't worried, but he had told the royal that he was.

"You really do care for me, 'Kura!" Malik exclaimed happily. Bakura's heart raced at that statement, he did not!

"Call me 'Kura one more time and I'll show you exactly how much I care for you." Bakura threatened, a harsh glare on his face. But it was contradicted when his glare began to soften when Malik just smiled brightly at him, he looked so happy...Bakura wanted to slap himself, he shouldn't care if the moron was happy!

"Ba-Ku-Ra." Malik sung out, standing up and smiling brightly. Bakura bit his lip as he felt his mind fighting each other. Hey, that was kind of cute! No, it was annoying! Nah, it was cute. No, it was annoying! Bakura let out a loud gasp as he felt someone tackle him onto the ground in a hug.

Malik had tackled him, wrapping his arms around his neck and holding him close as they laid on the grass. He hummed in happiness, Bakura was warm.

"H-Hey!" Bakura yelled out, his arms sprawled to his sides as he felt his heart racing a million miles an hour. Malik giggled and nuzzled Bakura's neck softly.

"I'm glad you came, 'Kura..." Malik whispered against his neck. Bakura's eyes widened at the statement, he could tell that the boy was happy. But he guessed that it was different when it was said out loud. Bakura's eyes returned to normal, placing his hands on Malik's slim waist as they laid there.

"That's good." Bakura whispered, not believing it when he felt his arms slide around Malik's waist to hold him close. As if they could get any closer, they were on the damn ground!

"Can you get off me now?" Bakura asked, wanting to calm down his heart and face from burning and killing him. Malik pouted and squeezed Bakura.

"I don't wanna."

"Get off me, Malik."

"No, I'm comfortable!"

"Malik! Get-"

"If I get up, you have to take the quiz." Bakura's eyes widened, what? Malik smirked, sitting up and feeling Bakura's hands slide down lower than his waist to rest on his hips. He slid his arms away from Bakura's neck, moving them on top of his torso as he sat there. Malik sat perfectly still, smiling at the fact Bakura was looking up at him. Malik could feel his body reacting to the fact this wasn't exactly the most innocent position, but Bakura wouldn't notice.

"Well? Will you take the quiz?" Malik asked, his smirk still in place. "Because if you don't, I might just stay like this." He moved a finger along Bakura's chest, drawing patterns on the top of it. Bakura narrowed his eyes, he could tell that his body and mind was taking in the position, and he didn't want his body to completely realize the position, especially not with Malik on top of him. What the quiz about again? Something about being compatible, oh well. It would be better than having this royal on top of him in an erotic position.

"Okay, I'll take it."

So Seto wasn't the nicest person in the world, big deal. He rolled his eyes when he watched the girl who had taken the quiz leave with a tear in her eye. After she had scored a seventy she had said that they were meant to be. Seto had simply replied that he wouldn't date girls who acted like they were the world and that their soul mate was one that was rich, and the fact he thought that she was as ugly as an ogre. He didn't care, he really did think she was ugly.

Seto stood up, stretching as he did this. How much longer was he supposed to sit there and watch idiots take the quiz that was a complete lie? The quiz was completely stupid and childish. Compatibility was only determined based on how much you liked each other, not on if they chose the correct answers in a Ra forsaken quiz. He didn't even want to humor the fact that some of them had scored at least a eighty, they would always look so happy. While he would keep a straight face and make them cry or something along those lines.

Seto closed his eyes and rubbed the bridge of his nose as he heard the rustling of the curtain and the footsteps of the next crybaby.

"I knew it! You are annoyed by this event!" A cheery voice yelled. Seto jerked his eyes open and turned his head to see the adorable blond that his mind would always wander to. What was Joey doing here?

"Mutt?" Seto found himself saying before he could correct himself, it felt more natural to say than Joey...Joey narrowed his eyes and glared at him.

"Hey! Who you calling a mutt?!" Joey hissed out, clenching his fists together at the statement. He comes to visit him and all the man can say is Mutt? Joey was tempted to leave right then and there!

"You, who else?" Seto rolled his eyes, would Joey being here make him feel worse or better? Seto already knew the answer when he felt his heart react to seeing him again. Better, definitely better.

"You know what, screw you!" Joey yelled, turning around and heading to the curtain. "I'm leaving." He closed his eyes as he reached to the curtain to leave, before he felt his hand touching a warm silk chest instead of a cold curtain. Joey opened his eyes to see Seto in front of him, blocking his way out. He felt his cheeks turn a bright pink at his sudden movement, how did a royal move that fast?!

"Leaving so soon?" Seto smirked, taking a step forward and making Joey back up on instinct. "But you just arrived." Joey felt his heart leap into his throat as he felt himself backing up as Seto came closer. He gasped when he felt the edge of a table hitting his butt. Seto narrowed his eyes as he trapped the boy between his arms.

"Why don't you stay a while?" Seto purred, leaning down and capturing the boy's eyes with his own. Joey tried to back his head up more, he was getting too close for comfort!

"Um...N-No I'm good..."

"But aren't you the one who came to me, weren't you planning to stay?" Joey gulped, he was planning on staying because he was ordered to visit. But, this was too much! Joey turned his head to the side, shutting his eyes so he didn't have to look at the royal.

"While you're here we could practice your lines, you do remember most of them, right?" Seto whispered in his ear, his breath trailing over his earlobe. Joey's eyes widened once more.

"T-That's only if you aren't busy, right now you're busy because you're in the middle of an event!"

"I'm not busy right now, we have plenty of time."

"No! Y-You're supposed to be taking the quiz!"

"Actually, it is observing someone else take the quiz, and there is no one-"

"I wanted to take the quiz!" Joey blurted out without thinking. Seto's eyes widened at that, he wanted to take it? The quiz that determined compatibility with the other? Seto found himself intrigued by the sudden statement. Joey, the one boy who wouldn't leave his mind, wanted to take the quiz?

"Is that the reason you came?" Seto questioned, making sure he heard correctly.

"Y-Yes..." Joey uttered out, hating how he had said that. The stone face royal would probably get the wrong idea! Seto hummed in response, releasing Joey and walking to his side of the table, planting himself in the seat. He crossed his arms and directed his eyes to Joey, smirking at him.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Take a seat."

:This was harder to write then it looks, I was planning on writing the quiz in this chapter, but that would have made it too long! So, haha! I hope you enjoyed this chapter please review!:
