Chapter 8

Everyone was dressed and huddled around in the common room waiting for the limo to pull up. Robin stood contently at the kitchen counter gazing out over the room. Starfire and Cyborg were sharing a quiet conversation, Mas, Speedy and BumbleBee all sat on the couch watching TV and Beastboy and Menos were standing by the glass staring out at the jump city bay. The only two absent were Raven and Aqualad which Robin didn't pay any mind too. Starfire approached her boyfriend slowly as her high heels were constricting her walking abilities to the slowest possible speed.

Starfire cautiously approached Robin as he looked to have an incredibly agitated expression.

"Um Robin?" Robin refocused from staring and cracked a smile at his girlfriend.

"Yeah babe?" Starfire surprised by his tone smiled widely.

"Oh I thought you were in a bad mood is everything well?" Robin confused responded.

"What makes you say that?" Starfire nervously started to look around the room.

"Oh um I am not quite sure for you are quiet and not interacting as you normally would and I thought you were upset with me because I feel asleep instead of performing my job of blow." Starfire saying that louder then she should have caused the room to stop into a silent awkward staring contest that made Robin want to melt into his shoes. Robin nervously giggled.

"Um Star you can't say things like that out loud and it's really not that big of deal but can I have a kiss?" Starfire smiled and gave Robin a peck on the lips. Starfire leaned next to him on the table and they began to playfully tickle each other. Cyborg, BumbleeBee and Beastboy walked up to them.

"What's up y'all? Cyborg was in a very good as he had BumbleeBee on his hip. Beastboy was unrealistically quiet for some reason standing behind the two couples staring at the door. He could overhear the small murmering between the four of them but he didn't even care about that. He wanted Raven, his girlfriend and wanted to be able to hold her for the day after last night. He watched the door open but what was on the other side made his anger raise beyond believe. For some reason Raven and Aqualad were giggling and flirting with each other. Raven and Beastboy made eye contact and the tension between them could have been cut with a chain saw. They both made their way back out to the hallway and Beastboy wasted no time.

"What the fuck was that?" Raven rolled her eyes.

"Look I'm not arguing with you Aqualad and I had a talk last night about some stuff and we really did establish a respect for each other." Beastboy bit down on his fist in anger.

"Great just fucking great this guy has been here for a day and he's already driving a wedge between us you know he told me you were flirting with another guy at the bar?"

"And he also told Cyborg he wanted to fuck me but look you know I love you more than anything and nothing would ever make me want to jeopardize this but Gar I really just need a little space." Beastboy felt his fist clench up and bit down hard on his bottom lip. He could understand Raven wanting space because she always was an isolated person and he knew that their love was unmatched but the fact that Aqualad had something to do with their conversations was what got under his skin.

"What do you mean by space?" Raven placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Just give me today you do your thing and I'll do mine and tonight we can talk but for right now for our sanity I think it is best if we just left each other alone." Beastboy sank his head and nodded.

"Okay babe." He was hurt he couldn't deny that as he hugged Raven and she exited the hallway. He felt as if that Aqualad was behind this and he was the one that convinced Raven to do this. The more he thought of that the more enraged he became the more he felt his anger slipping and the burning desire to punch Aqualad in the face. He worked up enough rage to storm through the door but not before a giant robotic torso blocked his and caused him stumble back into the hall way.

"Yo what the fuck you doing?" Cyborg called startled. Beastboy collected himself and walked up silently to Cyborg.

"I'm going to knock Aqualads fucking teeth out." Beastboy tried to storm past Cyborg but he was quickly lifted by the collar of his shirt to a Cyborg. "Whoaaaaa"

"Why you going to do that?" Cyborg asked as he placed Beastboy back on his feet. Beastboy recollected himself and he let a big exhale.

"Well Rae and I got into some shit last night and were we weren't speaking today then when I see her she tells me Aqua fuck recommended that we give each other space for the day which means he is isolating her to try and work his way in." Cyborg nodded.

"She tell you what I told her?" Beastboy nodded.

"Yeah about him saying out loud how he wanted to fuck her if I was there I would ripped out his tongue." Cyborg placed his hand out his friends shoulder.

"Look I know that you want to kill him and I don't really blame you but the bottom line is that Raven is testing you." Beastboy felt a confusion rush take over his thought process.

"What do you mean testing me?" Cyborg took Beastboy under his arm sarcastically as if he were a little kid.

"Raven could care less about Aqualad and any sort of opinion he has about your relationship she's only doing this because she wants you to prove to her you can respect her wishes Bee does this shit to me all the time." Beastboy looked up at his bionic friend.

"Yeah and how's that go?" Cyborg smiled

"Good because as soon as she wants space I remind how good this dick is then she's right back." Beastboy rolled his eyes.

"Yeah right back asleep while you have your 30 seconds of minor pleasure." Cyborg nodded sarcastically.

"Oh so that's what you think?" They started to playfully push each other as Robin opened the door.

"You guys good?" They both slowly stopped their horse play and replied back to Robin with a quick "Yeah."

"Okay good cause the limo is here. Titans in one Titans east in another."

"Sounds good." Beastboy replied as the three exited the hallway as the rest of the titans were already in the limo.

The coast was clear now as the shadowy figure solidified inside Beastboy's room. It laid down on his bed and that placed a finger on to its headset.

"I'm here and in position." A voice replied back.

"Be patient for when he returns the coma shall begin."
