:Hi everyone! Sorry that this is kinda late again, I had to do a project for school and I still have 2 more essays to write for one of my classes! School is so fun, right? Anyway, the answer to my question previously was this; The buttons corresponded with Yugi and his friends eye color! Yugi is purple (I couldn't say Amethyst because it would have been too obvious.) Anzu is blue, Bakura is brown, and Joey is yellow (Honey, but bleh.) I hope you all enjoy this chapter!:
Anzu let out a soft groan as she felt consciousness rake through her sleepy mind. After she had come back to the dorm, she had gone right back to sleep and, sadly, cried as she did. Something else had happened though, but she couldn't remember completely. She pushed away the fuzzy memory and snuggled closer to the warmth that was holding her tightly. Her eyes shot open, warmth?
Anzu stared forward, only seeing darkness due to her face being close to a chest. Who was in her bed?! She directed her face up, narrowing her eyes due to tiredness, she made out brown hair from her blurry eyes. She blinked the sleep away, her eyesight becoming clearer as she finally gained the ability to see the person next to her. Anzu remembered the fuzzy memory in a blink of an eye, she had forgotten about that! How could she forget?!
Mana had stayed with her that night to make sure she didn't feel lonely...Anzu felt her heart begin to pound at the remembrance. When Mana had walked her back she had told her to go ahead and go because she could make it to her room alone, but the royal had insisted she come up to make sure she was completely okay. As soon as Anzu had made it into her room, she had began to sob again and when she did, Mana had began to hold her once more. Heck, she remembered being walked to the bed and being told to lay down...But she had insisted that Mana slept in the bed with her, and that she didn't want to be alone.
Anzu couldn't believe her stupidity. She was crying because of Mana! Why did she want her to be near her?! Well, she couldn't really blame the royal. She had cried because of how she was feeling about Mana, so why blame her? She couldn't erase the memory of her mind replacing the cuddling shadow with Mana, and how her heart was going a million miles an hour at that exact moment. She knew she had the slightest crush on Yugi, and she knew she had a thing for Atemu, but...She stared up at the royal, the girl's pretty face even more beautiful as she slept.
Anzu lifted herself up higher, making it so her face was even with the princess'. She stared at her closed eyes, the royal looked so peaceful as she slept. Anzu lifted a hand, placing it on the girl's tanned cheek. Mana was so soft, what kind of shampoo did she use on her face? Anzu had to chuckle at her own actions, here she was, in bed with a girl she was forming feelings for, and yet she was asking about her shampoo?
What would Mana think if she saw her doing this? Would she think she was weird, or would she be okay with it? Anzu would think she would be okay with it, after all Mana would flirt with her on multiple occasions, and Anzu found herself giving the slightest of hints back to her. She had kissed her on the cheek after having lunch with her...Anzu moved a stray strand of hair away from Mana's face, marveling at how lovely she was at that moment.
She took a look through the large window in her room that allowed the light to cascade her standard white bed. Her room was just like every other girl's room, despite the fact that she had no roommate. Anzu had requested at the beginning of the year that she had no roommate, and the principal had allowed it. The walls were a dark pink that wasn't too girly or too manly. The floors had the color of a pure white that gleamed in the light when shined upon. She had a light wooded dresser, bed stand, desk, closet, all the simple essentials to a room, and of course, a large body mirror in the corner.
Anzu maneuvered her head to the side to catch a glimpse of her clock, her hand still near the royal's face, it was 6:00 am. She narrowed her eyes and looked back to Mana, placing her hand on her cheek and caressing it gently. Her heart was going faster, and she knew she was finding herself becoming embarrassed by this situation. But truth be told, she didn't really mind. She thought about the time, it was 6:00 so that meant the boys were waking up and just now heading to the cafeteria to go get breakfast. What would they say if she wasn't there?...
Anzu removed her hand from Mana's face, bringing it down to rest on her shoulder. Her other hand was curled up near the middle of the royal's breast, an innocent automatic gesture of sleep. Anzu smiled softly, bringing herself back down and placing her hand back with her curled up one and snuggled closer to the royal.
She could miss breakfast just this once.

"Yugi, are you okay?" Joey questioned, staring at the small boy gulf down a bowl of oatmeal. Yugi had woken up both Bakura and Joey in a rush, telling them to get dressed and to hurry up for breakfast. It had only been 5:45 when this happened, and when they asked what was up, he didn't answer. Now, the boy was eating like a guy who had been starving, and he looked like he was panicking. Now that his two friends thought about it, did the poor guy get any sleep?
"I'm fine." Yugi replied, his mouth full of food. Bakura noted that he did this, he usually never did that because he often lectured them about talking with their mouth full. Something was up, and that usually wasn't a good thing. Bakura opened his mouth to say something, his eyes widening in slight amusement when he watched Yugi grab his glass of milk and chug it down, the white substance trailing down the side of his mouth.
"You're acting strange." Bakura told him, his lips quirking up at the sides in an awkward smile. After the event yesterday, Bakura and Joey had been the only two to return to their place near the tree. They talked about what could have happened with Yugi and Anzu, but soon they had just assumed that it was nothing and had proceeded to go to lunch. Yugi slammed his glass down on the table, gasping slightly as his two friends jumped in surprise.
"What time is it?" Yugi gasped out, wiping at his mouth with his sleeve. Bakura gestured at Joey, knowing that even though he, himself, had a watch, he wanted Joey to look instead. Joey nodded at him, pulling back his sleeve and looking at the time.
"6:10." Joey announced, looking at Yugi as he nodded and began to eat more oatmeal. God, the kid was worse than him and Joey was quite the fast eater.
"I have to go." Yugi told his friends, standing up and licking his lips to rid himself of any escaping oatmeal.
"And where are you going?" Bakura asked, hoping to get an answer out of Yugi. The small boy bit his lip, not wanting to answer him. He could just tell them that he was going to his class, but they all knew that he usually wouldn't go without Anzu. But Anzu wasn't there today, now was she? They had tried to talk about Anzu not being there, but the two boys had stopped talking about her once they saw Yugi attack a poor defenseless bowl of oatmeal!
"If you must know..." Yugi took a deep breath. He might as well tell them, he knew they were going to tease him about this, but what could he do? He darted his eyes to the cafeteria exit before he shut his eyes and released his breath.
"I'm going to go teach an idiot how to make chocolate."

Mana let out a soft grunt as she opened her eyes, her body weighed down by sleep and a certain someone. She lowered her eyes, taking note of Anzu curling up at her side. She felt her heart race and her face turn into a oven in the blink of an eye, Anzu was snuggling her?! She looked to her position, her arms around the girl and holding her close to her. Well, no wonder she was snuggling her, she didn't have a choice in the matter!
Mana couldn't help but feel happy at this moment. Not only did she have Anzu curling up beside her as if they were a couple, but she had pretty much beat her brother in something! There was absolutely no way that Atemu could become this close to Yugi in the short time she had become close to Anzu! She felt pride spark up inside of her, she finally beat her brother in something! But she knew that it wasn't really that big a deal. But the thing that was a big deal...
Mana moved her head to look down, staring at how sweet Anzu looked as she slept. She looked like a little angel like that! How cute! She felt the urge to hold her tighter but she didn't want to risk waking her, she did not want to wake her. What if she woke up and began to yell at her? She wouldn't do that, Mana knew, but still it was scary to think about.
Mana held in a frightened gasp as she felt Anzu stir in her arms, moving slightly and opening her eyes slowly. Her eyes blinking away tiredness and looking up, from what Mana could tell. She looked as if she had been awake before, maybe it was just her imagination. Anzu smiled up at her, pushing herself up and placing herself right in front of Mana's face.
"Good morning, you." Anzu whispered sweetly, letting out a soft giggle and rubbing her nose against Mana's. Mana's face began to light up, huh?! She let out a soft sound of confusion before she blinked away her shock and simply looked back at Anzu.
"G-Good morning." Mana gasped out, still slightly confused at what was going on. Did they do something?! She looked down at what they were wearing, they were still wearing the school uniform. Okay, so they didn't do anything...Why was she asking herself if they did anything, she remembered everything that happened the other day! For Ra's sake, she had held Anzu until she had fallen asleep! And surprisingly, Mana had fallen asleep too, and this was the first time she had even woken up without an alarm clock!
"How'd you sleep?" Anzu asked, smiling sweetly at the confused girl. Mana bit her lip and darted her eyes away for a second.
"Good, y-you?" Mana uttered out, not knowing what to do in this situation. Anzu giggled and lowered her head onto Mana's neck, nuzzling her neck onto it and causing Mana's heart to leap into her throat.
"I slept great..." Anzu whispered against the tan throat, nuzzling it with her nose. Mana gulped, knowing that Anzu could feel it. She had never been so flustered expect for the time when Anzu had given her a kiss on the cheek! She darted her eyes to the bed stand, noticing how the clock read 6:20. Didn't Anzu have class in ten minutes?!
"Don't you-" Mana stopped, noticing how Anzu removed her head from her neck and began to look up at her with bright innocent eyes.
"Don't I what?" Anzu questioned, tilting her head for an additional cute factor. Mana couldn't think straight, usually she was the one flirting, what the hell had happened to Anzu?! She didn't mind that was for sure, but she really didn't know what to do!
"Don't you...you know..." Mana searched for the words. "Have class?" Anzu puffed out her cheeks and dropped her head onto Mana's neck, hiding her face.
"Yeah, but I was tired..." Anzu's voice answered, her voice muffled. "And...I didn't want to wake you up."
"Why not? I wouldn't have minded."
"Because..." Anzu removed her head from Mana's neck once again, looking the royal dead in the eyes. "You looked so pretty while you slept." Mana felt as if her body had become a dark red color, Anzu thought she was pretty?!
"I-I..." Mana stuttered out, not sure how to respond. "T-Thank you, you looked...cute while you slept, too." She fished around for words. Honestly, didn't a smooth tongue and excellent flirting skills run in the royal family?! Why was she having such a hard time?! Is this how father felt when mother began to return his feelings?! Wait, did Anzu return her feelings?!
Mana felt as Anzu slid herself out of her arms and exited the bed, stretching as she stood up. She looked down at her uniform, making a face as she noticed how untidy it was. Mana sat up in the bed, moving herself to the side and watching as Anzu stood in front of the body mirror and adjusted her uniform.
"Hey, Anzu?" Mana asked, watching as the girl turned her head and grabbed a nearby white handled brush and began to rake it through her hair. Anzu closed her eyes and hummed out to her, indicating that she heard her. Mana bit her lip, wondering if it was okay to ask this, would she be answered or would she be shot down before she could even finish her sentence?
"Do you..." Mana choked out, not knowing how to form her words. She had never known how to form a question like this. She never really had a crush before, okay that was a lie. She had a crush on a man named Mahad before, but that ended badly because he was her teacher, but still...
"Do you like me?" Mana finally spoke out, noticing how Anzu stopped brushing her hair, as if she had paused her movements. Anzu turned her head, staring at the royal with an unknown expression in her eyes. She giggled, smiling sweetly and gave her a wink.
"Maybe." Anzu answered, making Mana's heart tighten. What did she say?! Maybe? Was that a yes or a no?! Mahad had given her the straight "I'm too old for you, blah blah." Bull crap, but what did a maybe mean?!
"Why do you ask?" Anzu narrowed her eyes, amusement shining in those blue orbs of hers. Mana bit her lip, looking away. Anzu rolled her eyes playfully and strutted over to the royal, taking her hand into one of her own.
"A-Anzu?-"
"Do you like me?"
"Anzu, you know I-"
"Come on, let's get you tidied up, I can't have you going into class looking like that." Anzu giggled, enjoying how she interrupted the royal's words. She couldn't help herself, after waking up and thinking for a moment. She couldn't help but attempt to figure out how she felt toward the royal. And she was figuring out quite the interesting answer.
"C-Class?" Mana stuttered out, stumbling as Anzu jerked her out of her sitting position and moved her to the body mirror. Anzu began to straighten her uniform, adjusting her tie and brushing away the wrinkles.
"Of course, you're coming to class with me today." Anzu told her as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Mana's eyes widened, when did she agree to this?!
"What if I have something to do today?"
"You would have told me."
"Okay..." Mana didn't know how to feel right now. She enjoyed the attention she was getting from Anzu, but she was so confused. Did Anzu like her back? What the hell did the maybe even mean?! Mana felt Anzu comb through her hair gently with a brush, massaging her scalp gently.
"What if I don't want to go?" Mana questioned, testing the waters to see Anzu's reaction. Would she get mad at that question? She felt Anzu move some strands of her hair and breathed in a sharp gasp as she felt Anzu blow gently onto her ear, giggling as she whispered.
"What if I say you don't have a choice in the matter?"

Yugi leaned up against the cooking classes wall, looking down at his watch impatiently. Where in the world was that stupid royal?! When he asked what the prince had wanted to make, he had immediately said chocolate. Out of all the foods in the world to create, he had to say chocolate. Why chocolate though? Valentine's day was coming up, so maybe he wanted to make some chocolates for his friends. He couldn't be making some for you, because you're the one teaching him!
Yugi shook his head, no it was possible he could want to make him some. He could see Atemu doing that actually. Asking him to help him make it just to give it to him later, to tell the truth, the possibility made Yugi smile for a moment. How utterly ridiculous of a prince. Shouldn't he be waiting for people to give him chocolate? Not make it himself? Usually when the royalty would pick February as the month they would visit, they would actually set up a place for them to sit so they could accept gifts from their admirers. It had always annoyed Yugi, but he never really cared.
Despite having losing the bet with the compatibility quiz, Yugi really didn't feel all that bad. His friends were getting the wrong idea, thinking he was panicking for no reason and even asking him when he rushed them out of bed if he had enough sleep. No, he had gotten plenty of sleep, too much sleep in fact. He actually just wanted to show up on time, he was never one to run late for meetings. And to tell the truth, Yugi had fun the other day.
After he had gotten over the fact that he had lost a bet to the annoying royal and that he had to get a chair to sit next to him. It was kind of fun. Students would come in to take the quiz and they would look at him and ask why he was there, freak out, and even sometimes they would leave because they thought they didn't have a chance with the royal because he was there. Throughout the whole time, Yugi probably had enough fun to remember that event for a majority of his life.
Not to mention that every once and while you looked at the damn prince! Yugi felt his mouth dry out at that. He did not look at the damn guy through the whole thing. He was pissed the other day when he lost, but you admitted that you had fun! He did have fun. And you even made a small bet with the other quiz takers about him too. Okay, that was enough of remembering that!
So when he was sitting next to the prince, he would see some people who would ask Yugi what he had gotten from the quiz with Atemu. He would tell them boringly that he got a 90% and, to his surprise, people would try to beat his score. So, when he saw a girl that he remembered quite well from the race a while back, he made a bet with every person he saw. If the person could score higher than a 90% he would let them take his place next to Atemu. The prince had gotten confused and even looked flustered when he announced this, but he had fun with it too.
Yugi couldn't believe he was finding himself not to be seeing Atemu as an annoying idiot acquaintance, but he was finding the prince to be an annoying idiot friend. He was having fun with the idiot when he had lost the bet, but would you be having fun if you lost the other bet? Yugi felt his whole body flush at that question. Hell no he wouldn't! He would hate losing the other bet, he could deal with thinking of Atemu as a friend but not as a fiance, nuh uh! No freaking way!
"Yugi!" A voice called out to him as he placed a hand to his forehead. Yugi looked up, seeing the royal he was thinking about run to him with a bright smile on his face. Oh, there he is. Yugi narrowed his eyes and tried to hide the small smile that came onto his face, he looked so stupid. Yugi lifted himself off of the building, crossing his arms as he waited for the royal to run up to him.
Atemu breathed heavily as he stopped in front of Yugi, taking in gasps of breath as he took in how Yugi looked. He looked so cute, so beautiful in the light as he looked at him with amused eyes. He was amused? Oh, that's right...He was running like an idiot. Atemu chuckled and scratched the back of his head.
"Sorry that I'm-"
"Late, it's fine." Yugi finished for him, allowing an amused smile to overtake his face. To tell the truth, he was kind of happy that he only asked to make chocolate. He was confused about the reason, sure, but at least it wasn't some kind of sexual dish from Egypt or something. Was there a sexual dish in Egypt? Would banana's count? But how do you make a banana without growing it, or is that the only way to make a banana?
"So..." Atemu stood there awkwardly, trying to keep himself from grabbing Yugi's hand and kissing it in greeting. Honestly, just being in front of this boy made him want to hold him and treat him like royalty. But no, no...Yesterday after losing the bet Yugi had warmed up to him slightly, he couldn't ruin that now. He was getting closer and closer to his goal. With Yugi warming up to him, he was so sure that Yugi was beginning to view him as something more than a friend, did he view him as a friend yet? He was so sure he was, even though he still voiced that he didn't like him...But he knew that was a lie.
"Good-"
"Hey, what are you doing here?" A feminine voice interrupted him. Atemu looked behind himself and let out a inaudible gasp as he saw what was behind him. Why was his sister here?! Mana was standing behind him, with Anzu holding her hand tightly. Wait, holding hands?!
"M-Mana?!" Atemu stuttered out, not sure how to react. He knew that Anzu was in this class with Yugi, but he had no idea that Mana would be coming as well! Yugi blinked in confusion before he looked down to the hand holding between Anzu and the princess, he had an idea, but...He smiled at the two girls.
"Good morning, you two." Yugi greeted nicely, glancing between the two of them. "Is Mana escorting you, Anzu?" Yugi couldn't help admitting it to himself, but the two girls looked cute together, holding hands like that and, to his surprise, acting kind of like a couple. Anzu giggled, removing her hand from Mana's and latching onto the princess' arm.
"Nope, she's actually coming to class with us." Yugi whistled in approval. Nice, both of the royal siblings in the same room. This ought to be fun. Didn't royal siblings have that natural rivalry between them? Yugi watched as Mana smiled and stuck out her tongue at her brother, making Atemu narrow his eyes at her. Were they competing for Anzu? No, that can't be the case, Atemu was in love with him. Yugi felt his face warm up at that, why did he have to tell himself that?! It was as if he was reassuring himself that he knew that! Ugh, what was going on?!
"Isn't today a free day in class?" Anzu questioned, knowing that Yugi would know the answer. Surprisingly, Yugi did know that. So, it was convenient that the prince wanted to learn how to cook something on that day.
"Yes, today is a free day so that we could practice our memorization cooking skills, just in case a person failed the test."
"I still can't believe I passed that..."
"I passed it perfectly."
"Well yeah! You practiced how to make that marble cake for days!"
"Anyway, what're you two going to cook?" Yugi smiled at his friend, curious of what the two girls were going to do. Anzu shrugged, honestly not knowing what to cook with Mana.
"Well, I was going to teach the prince here how to make chocolate." Yugi pointed at Atemu with a smirk, hoping that he could spark some sibling rivalry at that moment. It would be funny to see the two compete for who could make the best chocolate.
"Chocolate?" Mana questioned. "I know how to make that, I practiced how to make it a couple days ago actually." Anzu felt her pride as a cook get shot down. She was horrible at making chocolate, but a royal who probably had no experience in the kitchen knew how?! She couldn't feel worse now!
"O-Oh, that's cool." Anzu stuttered out, trying not to make it obvious that she didn't know how to make the desert.
"Anzu doesn't know how to make chocolate." Yugi told the royals, explaining why she was acting weird all of a sudden. Both of the royals nodded at his explanation as Anzu began to stutter out his name.
"I could teach you if you like, Anzu." Mana purred out, hoping to get the upper hand in flirting again. She shot a quick glance at Atemu, making a silent challenge at her brother. Oh, she had beaten him at getting close to her interest, and now he knew that. Anzu blushed at this, knowing she had been flirting all day, but Mana flirting with her always seemed to make her flustered.
"S-Sure..." Anzu replied shyly, her face covered in a pink color. Atemu glared at the two girls, hating how he was getting beaten by his sister. Yugi rose an eyebrow at the steaming royal, he had an idea. This was going to be fun.
"I have to teach you anyway, Atemu." Yugi spoke, using the royal's name. Atemu couldn't help it when his heart leaped into his throat, did Yugi just say his name?! He stared down at the beautiful prince of the sun and felt his face warming up.
"I lost a bet, so I'll teach you just like we promised." Yugi wanted to spark the rivalry so bad, he wanted, no. He needed to see a royal competition! "Okay?" Atemu narrowed his eyes, darting them to his sister so he could see the challenge she was invoking.
"Okay, let's go in and explain to the teacher what we're doing then." Atemu smiled, his eyes still narrowed at his sister. Mana smiled back, nodding as her eyes narrowed as well and they stared at each other. Anzu and Yugi began to think the same thing, the two were going to compete with who could make the best chocolate. But no, that wasn't what the royals were thinking at all. They weren't competing to see who could make the best chocolate.
They were competing about who could make their partner blush the most.
:Yup, next chapter's gonna be fun to write. Oh, I can't wait to write it! I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! Please review!:
