:Y'know chapters aren't hard to write, they're just hard to start and to continue thinking of stuff to put down on the paper! I had, not even joking, about 10 different ways to start this chapter and I was contemplating on it for so long before I was just like; Okay, just write it! Also school really stressed me out, so I wasn't able to think most of the time and I was forced to take a break by my boyfriend...So, I hope you like this chapter because it was a lot harder to write than usual!:
Atemu watched as both Yugi and Anzu began to work on filling up a pot with water. He narrowed his eyes at the action, he too had studied with Mana about how to make chocolate, but he didn't remember anything about pots and water. Yugi's face was so serious, and all he was doing was filling something up. He had never really watched Yugi cook, so perhaps he was always like this when he cooked something. Yugi's eyes were narrowed, his face muscles tight as it turned down to watch the pot slowly fill. Atemu thought the look on his little prince's was utterly stunning. How lovely the boy could look when doing such a simple task was beyond imaginable.
Mana stood next to Anzu, waiting patiently as she filled the pot up, observing her from behind and smiling. She had said that she would teach Anzu how to make chocolate, but from what was happening right now, it would seem as if Anzu already knew what to do. So, why would she have to teach her? Maybe she just doesn't know how to cook it right, Mana could see that, sadly. A person who knows how to make a dish, but can't create it correctly makes sense. She watched as Anzu stopped the water, picking up the pot, her hands shaking as she tried to drag the item onto the counter. Mana giggled and grabbed at the pot handle, placing her hand over Anzu's and helping her guide it to the counter. She had to restrain a smirk when she noticed the faint dust of pink on the girl's cheek, five was her score now.
"Atemu." The prince's mind was jerked back into reality, his mind being elsewhere before hand. He focused his eyes, looking down into amethyst ones and feeling his face flush in embarrassment. Yugi had caught him staring, and even though he knew he would stare at his interest often, it was rude at times. But he ignored that fact for now, his mind was swarming with another fact. Yugi had said his name, again!
"Y-Yes?" Atemu replied, his voice wavering slightly. Yugi rose an eyebrow as he rose the pot onto the counter, it now being filled with water. He didn't know why he began to use the idiot prince's name, but he felt that it was okay to do so now that he could see the royal as a friend. Besides, he was getting tired of coming up with new nicknames for the guy anyway.
"Pay attention, okay?" Yugi told him, knowing that the royal's mind was definitely not on making chocolate. He had to will himself not to blush at his own statement, stop thinking that the idiot's mind is on you. But it probably is! After all, he had been staring at you, plus he had flirted with you a little bit today. He rolled his eyes in his head, he shouldn't even be thinking about stuff like this right now. He had to teach a royal how to make chocolate, not stand and think about the damn guy.
"Yugi, if it's you who is talking..." Atemu smiled sweetly down at the boy. "I will definitely pay attention." Yugi's eyes widened, his face brightening at the comment. Did he have to say that?! He turned his eyes away from the royal, refusing to look at him as he maneuvered the pot of water onto the stove and turned it on the lowest setting. Atemu chuckled at this, simply adorable. He had six points now, but he was afraid that once they got started that he would lose count.
"When you make chocolate the way I am teaching you, you have to get a pot of water." Yugi began to explain, gesturing to the water. "Then you place it on a low temperature so it will not boil, we don't want it to boil. We just want it to be warm for now." Atemu nodded as he talked, listening eagerly to the small wonder. His voice was so beautiful, and the fact that it wasn't being mean to him made it even better. Atemu wished that Yugi would say his name again for a third time, but he had to wonder if Yugi would get mad at him if he knew that he wasn't paying attention to his words, but was paying attention to his voice instead.
"Then we take a bowl, and..." Yugi narrowed his eyes at the royal, noticing how he had a dreamlike look in his eyes. They looked like they were paying attention, but if anyone looked closely they would notice that the eyes were out of focus. What the hell was the idiot thinking about?
"Atemu." Yugi growled, tapping his foot and crossing his arms. He saw the royal's eyes refocus, their gaze looking him up and down before they noticed what was happening. Atemu flushed, noticing that he was caught again. Little Yugi was so observant.
"Would you like to do the next step?" Yugi gestured at a set of bowls, one was empty, while the other had a small amount of butter in it, next to the bowls was a bag of cocoa powder. Atemu gulped, shaking his head quickly. Yugi smiled evilly.
"Well, too bad." Yugi said, grabbing Atemu's wrist and dragging him closer to him. Atemu had to strain himself not to gasp as he jerked him over, they were side by side now, and he could almost feel Yugi's arm touching his own! He blushed, his heart beginning to hammer against his chest. Stop noticing these things and pay attention!
"I'm going to make you do the next step, but," Yugi reached over to Atemu's hand, grabbing it gently. Atemu couldn't help it, he felt like his heart was going to burst now, Yugi was holding his hand by choice! He could feel his face melting at the very touch of Yugi's hand, it was so soft.
"I'm going to lead your hand to the ingredients and I'm going to help you make it." Yugi looked up at the prince, offering him a gentle smile. "Easy, right?" Atemu nodded, his mouth dry as he stared down at the beautiful boy. Yugi didn't know why, but he felt kind of amused when he noticed the effect he was having on the royal. He was teaching the prince the way his mother had taught him. She had taken his hand and led him to ingredients and such, it was fun and effective, so Yugi assumed it would work again.
"O-Okay..." Atemu whispered, allowing Yugi to lead his hand and to guide him to what he needed to do. Mana rose an eyebrow in their direction, wondering vaguely of what they were doing. It was cute though, Yugi helping Atemu like that. But she had to giggle at the irony, here they were trying to make their partner blush, but from what she could see Yugi was doing a far better job than Atemu was at making the him blush. She turned her eyes back to her partner, furrowing her eyebrows together when she noticed Anzu place the pot of water on the stove and set the temperature on high.
"What are you doing?" Mana questioned, confused at why she was making the temperature so high. Didn't she know that on a setting like that the water would begin to boil soon? Anzu looked at the princess, gesturing at the water.
"Don't we need to boil the water?" She asked, her eyes looking down at the liquid. She always boiled the water before she put in the ingredients, wasn't that what you were supposed to do? Mana sighed, shaking her head and moving Anzu gently to the side as she reached over and turned the setting to low.
"We don't want the water to boil..." Mana explained, smiling at the girl. "If it boils, it will ruin the chocolate. We just need it to be warm for the time being." Anzu blinked in surprise, nodding at the explanation. So, Mana did study how to make chocolate? Now she felt even more embarrassed! She was going to be embarrassed anyway because the royal had offered to teach her, but to think she was correcting her now was insane! She felt her cheeks grow hot, how stupid of her. Mana narrowed her eyes at Anzu's red cheeks, she didn't count it this time though. She knew it wasn't because of flirting, it was because she was embarrassed that she had gotten something wrong.
"Don't worry, okay?" Mana said gently, placing a hand on her shoulder. "It's a simple step that a lot of people get wrong, please don't be sad." She tightened her hold on the girl's shoulder, wanting to apologize with her action. She didn't know why she should apologize, but it just felt right. Anzu smiled in thanks, bringing a hand up to meet Mana's to rest on top of it. They looked at each other, their eyes locking.
"Okay, thank you, Mana." Anzu whispered, her cheeks now furrowing down from an embarrassed streak of red to a small shade of pink. Mana counted that one, she was at six now. Mana nodded in response, breaking their gaze and looking to the table.
"Now..." Mana mused to herself, placing a hand to her chin in thought. "We have to combine the cocoa powder and butter in a bowl..." She reached for a bowl, glancing at her side to see Anzu watching her intently. How cute, she was so willing to learn. She looked over the ingredients, knowing she had to measure the powder and butter.
"Anzu." Mana called out, noticing how Anzu came closer the minute she uttered out her name. Anzu smiled sweetly at her, eager to please the royal. The princess looked so elegant when she was studying what to do, how focused she seemed and she hadn't even began to cook yet!
"Yes?" Anzu sung out, placing her hands behind her back in an innocent manner. Mana gulped, her face growing hotter than usual. She licked her lips, gesturing to the side.
"D-Do you mind getting a fork?" Mana asked. "You know, to stir the cocoa powder and..." Anzu nodded, smiling brighter as she turned around and walked to a drawer. Mana breathed in a gasp of air, not noticing that she had been holding her breath. That girl was too stunning for her own good, honestly she was going to die if Anzu kept flirting with her!
Mana shook her head, clearing her thoughts as she reached to the bag of cocoa powder and grabbed at a dry measuring cup. She dipped in the cup, making sure to get an even amount of powder inside it. She lifted it up gently, making sure not to spill the powder as she placed it inside a see through bowl. She repeated the process again, placing another cup of the substance inside the bowl. She smiled, placing the measuring cup to the side to grab a different one. Mana moved her hand to a large tub of butter, narrowing her eyes as she noticed it was a different brand from what her and the others had bought when they had gone out shopping. Oh well, there was different colors, there really shouldn't be a difference. She opened the tub, noticing how it hadn't been touched yet. She felt kind of guilty using a fresh tub, but that was what Anzu and Yugi had grabbed, so...
Mana reached into tub with a cup, drawing out butter and evening it out. They only needed a ¾ cup of softened butter, but since the butter had been sitting out for a decent amount of time, she assumed it would be okay. She tipped the cup upside down, noticing how the butter wasn't moving an inch away from the cup. Mana sighed, remembering how she had to get a spoon to scoop the butter out back at the royal dorm. Right now she needed something to get it out with...She narrowed her eyes, looking around. Where was-
Mana let out a silent gasp, noticing how a fork was thrust into her face. The fork dangled back and forth, as if it were doing a dance. Anzu stood behind the fork, dangling it from two of her fingers. She smiled and winked at the royal, enjoying how the princess began to flush a light pink.
"Looking for something?" Anzu sung out playfully, giggling as Mana smiled and grabbed at the fork. The royal uttered out a thank you before she began to scoop out the butter with the fork, making sure to get every bit out of it. She set the cup down, looking into the bowl and gesturing for Anzu to come closer. The girl obeyed, stepping closer to the royal and allowing her to place the fork in her right hand. Mana looked to Yugi, who had now let go of Atemu's hand, and was now showing him how to get rid of lumps out of the bowl of butter and chocolate powder. She watched as Yugi smiled and handed the fork to Atemu, standing to side to watch the prince try to eliminate the lumps.
Mana smiled at the actions, if she didn't know any better. She would have thought that they were a couple. She rose an eyebrow as she turned her eyes back to Anzu, to find her stabbing at the bowl harshly. Okay, she was going to break the thing...
"Anzu." Mana spoke, gaining the girl's attention and halting her assault on the bowl. She stepped behind her, placing her arms over Anzu's and taking hold of her hands, copying what Yugi had done with Atemu, but she was getting closer. Her body pressed against Anzu's back, she placed her head right next to hers, giving her lips access to the girl's ear. She gripped both hands of Anzu's, taking hold of the bowl gently and guiding the girl's hands to get rid of the lumps in the mixture gently, without stabbing the bowl to death.
"If you're too rough, Anzu." Mana purred in her ear. "You'll mess up the mixture, and you might miss some lumps." She noticed how Anzu gulped, how the girl's face began to brighten in red. Seven, the royal noted, continuing her actions with the girl. She was comfortable like this, and from the way Anzu was beginning to relax in her arms, she assumed that Anzu was too.
Yugi looked over to the two girls, blinking when he saw the two in an odd embrace. He narrowed his eyes, now realizing what they were actually doing. Mana was helping Anzu with getting rid of the clumps of butter in the chocolate mixture, that was a good idea. He remembered making chocolate with Anzu last year, it wasn't a pretty sight and Mr. Tsunami wasn't really happy about his fork being bent. He turned his eyes back to Atemu, smiling as he watched the royal stir around the mixture.
"Yugi." Atemu called out, not removing his eyes from the bowl. Yugi stepped closer to the royal, answering his call. He watched as Atemu gestured toward the bowl, raising the fork and pointing at the butter and cocoa powder mixture.
"I think that's all of them." Atemu told him, handing the fork to the smaller boy. Yugi placed the fork inside, moving it around gently to make sure there wasn't any clumps in the bowl. He narrowed his eyes as he found only one lump, that was pretty good for someone making chocolate for the first time. He gently got rid of the lump, noticing how he felt someone's stare on the back of his neck. The royal stared at him a lot today, well isn't it obvious why he's doing that? He likes you. Yugi rolled his eyes in his mind, he knew that.
"Pretty good for a first time." Yugi complimented, turning his eyes to the prince. He smiled sweetly. "I'm impressed, well done." Atemu's eyes widened, his cheeks flaming red at the compliment. Yugi usually never complimented him! He looked down, knowing that Yugi would notice his blush, but he couldn't help it. He was so happy and his heart was tightening. He gulped, licking his lips and darting his eyes back to Yugi, trying not to get trapped in the boy's beautiful amethyst eyes.
"T-Thank you..." Atemu spoke softly. Yugi let out a small chuckle, the royal looked kind of funny when he was flustered. It felt kind of nice to know that he affected someone, but he affected a few people. He never understood why though, but he had a feeling it was something about his hair or another thing. Was it because he looked like a girl? Yugi furrowed his eyebrows together, trying not to think of that. He was going to make himself mad at this rate.
"Okay, now..." Yugi whispered to himself, grabbing at the bowl. He lifted it up, making his way to the pot. He stopped in front of it, thinking for a moment. If it was too hot, it could ruin the chocolate. He turned his eyes to Atemu, who immediately darted his eyes away to try to hide the fact that he was staring again.
"Atemu." Yugi said, causing said prince to turn his head back around quickly. Did saying his name really affect him that much? How much power did he hold over the poor royal?
"Yes?" Atemu gasped out quickly. He said it again, he said his name again! He knew that he was supposed to make Yugi blush, but since he was also easy to make flustered, he was sure that Yugi would make him blush more than he did him!
"Can you check the temperature of the water please?"
"Okay, how?"
"Stick your finger in it."
"Isn't it hot?"
"It shouldn't be."
"Okay." Atemu walked over to the pot, standing next to Yugi. He placed a finger into the pot, feeling a warmth enclose the digit. It was getting hot, but it was just warm.
"It's warm, but it's slowly becoming hot." Atemu announced to Yugi, who smiled at the knowledge. The boy placed the edge of the bowl near the pot, tipping it and placing the mixture into the warm water. He moved to the center of the stove, bumping slightly into the prince as he watched the brown powder turn into a clumpy brown mess in the water. That was supposed to happen, now they needed a spoon or something.
"Can you go get a spoon?" Yugi asked, turning his head to look at the prince. "There should be one in a drawer nearby, it should be labeled wooden spoons." Atemu nodded eagerly, walking off to find the item needed. He looked around, narrowing his eyes as he searched for the spoon drawer. It was hard to concentrate on finding a spoon with what was going on his head right now. Not only was Yugi acting friendly, but he was even calling him by his name and if that wasn't a large step in the right direction than he wouldn't know what to think. Yugi was seeing him as a friend, he knew he would begin to act like he disliked him after this, but for the time being he was so happy! Atemu knew he was getting closer, but friendship isn't exactly like and love. The bet he had made with Yugi required him to make Yugi love him by the end of the month and he only had 19 days left. He had to work fast.
Atemu stepped in front of a drawer, the white label screaming out at him; Wooden Spoons. He opened the drawer, his eyes widening at all the different sizes. There was short ones, tall ones, big ones, small ones, how many spoons did a cooking class need?! He reached in to grab a tall skinny wooden spoon, closing the drawer once he retrieved it. He walked back to Yugi quickly, if the water was becoming hot and it wasn't supposed to be hot yet, then he needed to hurry.
Atemu rushed to Yugi, noticing how he was doing something with the sugar and milk. He had a weird covering over a bowl and he was moving the sugar back and forth on it. Was it a grate? He had heard of those before, they had small holes in them to allow air to come through. He shrugged, walking next to Yugi and placing the wooden spoon in the pot, beginning to stir gently. Yugi stopped his work immediately and looked up at the prince.
"I can do that." Yugi told him as he lowered his eyes to the pot, placing down the small measuring cup of sugar and reaching over for the spoon. Atemu rose his other hand, grabbing at Yugi's smaller one and holding it tightly. He lifted his eyes back up at the royal, his eyes instantly captured by the crimson orbs. He felt his cheeks become a slight, barely noticeable pink.
"All I have to do is stir, right?" Atemu questioned, his voice soft. Yugi gulped, nodding his head in agreement. The royal smiled, giving the boy's hand a gentle squeeze.
"Then, allow me to do at least this..." Atemu closed his eyes, lifting Yugi's hand to his lips and placing a kiss on each one of his knuckles. Yugi let out a slight gasp at the action, his blush beginning to cover his whole fact in a velvet color. The royal opened one of his eyes, noticing how adorably flushed little Yugi was. Seven was his score now, wasn't it?
"Okay?" Atemu smiled, opening his other eye. Yugi nodded, his heart jumping into his throat, making him unable to speak. The prince let go of his hand, allowing Yugi to go back to playing with the sugar. Atemu wanted to chuckle, but he restrained himself, he would probably make Yugi mad if he did that. He looked down at the water, stirring the chocolate slowly and making it into a smooth texture.
Yugi peeked over at the royal, trying not to blush more. He shook his head, trying to recollect himself. The damn royal had kissed his hand before, but he didn't have to do it like that! Why did he have to accept the idiot as a friend now, was he an idiot?! He took a deep breath, he should have expected this. He returned to his work, sifting the powdered sugar and regular sugar into a bowl and measuring the correct amount of milk into the liquid measuring cup. He felt a slight tap on his shoulder, turning his eyes to the side to see a tanned hand retreating.
Yugi turned his head, noticing how Atemu was pointing at the pot with the spoon. He stepped closer to the stove, checking over the mixture inside of the pot. He nodded approvingly at the work, the royal had done a nice job at mixing.
"It's done." Yugi announced, smiling as he gripped at the handle of the pot and gestured for Atemu to move. He had gotten mad at the guy for a minute because he had flirted with him, but he didn't want him to get hurt. He lowered the mixture into the same bowl he had placed the sugar into. He turned his eyes to Atemu, smiling and beginning to explain the next thing they had to do.
"I didn't even know royals knew what sifting was." Anzu commented, watching as Mana lowered their own chocolate mix into a bowl of sugar. The princess smiled, grabbing a spoon that she had asked Anzu to retrieve and beginning to stir.
"Believe me, I didn't." Mana chuckled. "I had to research a lot of words for making chocolate." She gestured for something to be placed into her hand, smiling as Anzu immediately gave her the milk to pour into the bowl.
"To tell the truth..." Mana looked over at Atemu, giggling as she relived a memory. "Atemu and I didn't even know what powdered sugar was." Anzu's eyes widened, the air being flooded by her small giggles. Mana smiled, pouring in the milk slowly as she stirred.
"You didn't?"
"Nope. He was so surprised when I told him to get some."
"What about you? You said you didn't know, but you seem like you weren't surprised."
"Oh, no. I was surprised, don't get me wrong. But I wasn't going to yell;" Mana stopped stirring, lowering her voice and talking loudly. "There's different kinds?! In the middle of a store." Anzu began to laugh, clutching her stomach as she tried to see the prince doing such a thing.
"Hey!" Atemu's voice erupted from his area, gaining the two girl's attention. "Don't talk about me over there!"
"Yugi seems to find it funny though."
"No, he doesn't!"
"Did you really yell that?"
"Stop laughing, Yugi!" Anzu couldn't stop laughing, it was hard to breathe now! Mana found herself smiling, beginning to laugh along with Anzu. Her laughter was adorable, and it was quite infectious. Atemu pouted from his station, his ears invaded by laughter and the giggles of his partner next to him. It wasn't that funny.
Mana wiped a tear from her eye, taking a deep breath as she let out a final giggle and began to stir again. She couldn't let it be unstirred for too long, she had to make it smooth and if she did leave it unstirred than it would get hard and might turn clumpy. She continued stirring, noticing how the laughter seemed to die down after a few minutes. Anzu watched, narrowing her eyes as she watched Mana stir the mixture into a smooth texture. It looked kind of pretty with the light shining off of it.
"Atemu." Yugi giggled. "Stop pouting, you look silly." He tapped the wooden spoon against the bowl, looking down at the smooth chocolate they had created. Atemu grumbled under his breath, his cheeks a slight pink from embarrassment. So he had freaked out because he had found out there was more than one kind of sugar, big deal!
"You were laughing at me."
"I was not."
"Yes you were."
"Oh hush up, you big baby." Yugi grabbed at Atemu's sleeve, pulling the royal as he began to walk off to a large cabinet. The royal was overreacting about such a small thing, it was just a funny memory, nothing to get all defensive about.
"If it makes you feel any better," Yugi stopped in front of the cabinet, turning his eyes around to look up at Atemu. "I did something embarrassing one time in a store too." The prince rose an eyebrow at this, did he? He saw Yugi as someone who would never do something embarrassing, he had a lot of pride for a small guy.
"What happened?" Atemu questioned, watching as Yugi opened the cabinet and looked inside of it.
"One time I saw a stand of hot sauce, the ones in glass bottles." Yugi explained, moving plastic objects around as he talked. "I thought the bottles were cool so I picked up one and looked at it. Mom told me to put it back and I panicked, so I placed the bottle back down quickly, and I uh..." Yugi grabbed at a plastic sheet. "I kinda knocked over the stand..." Atemu's eyes widened, blinking.
"You...what?"
"I knocked over a stand of hot sauce in the middle of the store and made the whole aisle fill up with red stuff." Yugi summarized, smiling at the memory. Atemu let out a laugh, trying to envision a smaller version of Yugi doing such an action. It was sounded like such a cute accident, but it was a messy one from what Yugi had explained.
"Thankfully." Yugi turned around, holding something in his hands. "We didn't have to pay for it, because that was over 300 bottles of hot sauce." Atemu laughed more, noticing how Yugi was smiling and laughing about the memory as well. So, he finds his past experiences fun to think about...He smiled fondly at the small boy, he was so lovely when he laughed. Yugi cleared his throat, calming down his small laughter.
"Anyway," Yugi smiled. "We need to put the chocolate into molds, and I thought that this would suit our chocolate quite nicely." He held out the plastic object in his hand out to Atemu. The royal furrowed his eyebrows together in confusion, taking hold of it and looking down at the small molds. His eyes widened, blinking in shock.
"They're..." Atemu looked to Yugi, tearing his eyes away from the molds. "They're small pyramids." Yugi smiled proudly, placing a hand on his hip as he looked up at the royal.
"I figured it would remind you of home." Yugi spoke, locking his eyes with Atemu. "After all you've been gone for a little while now, I thought it would make you happy." Yugi's eyes widened at what he had just said, why would he want to make the royal happy? He felt his face flush as he tore his eyes away from the starstruck eyes of the prince and looked down as he walked quickly back to their station.
"But don't think too hard about it." Yugi spoke quickly. "It doesn't mean anything, I just..." Atemu caught up with Yugi and placed a hand on his shoulder, turning him around and smiling down at him. The boy had thought about him, and it made him incredibly happy. He was tempted to call this the best day of his life so far, to have Yugi actually think about him like that was simply unbelievable.
"Yugi." Atemu whispered, trapping their eyes together once more. "Thank you." Yugi's eyes widened, his face turning bright red once more before he turned eyes away. Atemu didn't even notice the blush, he was just so overwhelmed by his happiness.
"I said don't think too hard about it." Yugi grumbled, knowing that he was blushing. "It's just chocolate molds..." He pulled away from the royal, knowing that he was feeling happy that he had done something right and that he was thanked. He took a deep breath, walking over to the station and holding a hand out for Atemu to place the molds in. Atemu did, allowing Yugi to take hold of them and to fill the molds up gently with the chocolate. It seemed like a slow process at first, but after a good five minutes of checking to make sure that they were perfect, it was fine.
"Okay." Mana smiled, looking down at their heart shaped molds. Anzu looked down at the plastic sheet, noticing how the chocolate looked smooth inside the small containers. Wow, it looked so different from what hers used to look like. Her's would always look lumpy and not chocolate looking, they would always look like black globs of tar. Mana lifted the chocolate up gently, looking at Anzu.
"Is there a fridge we can put these in?" Mana questioned, holding the chocolate molds gently in her hands. Anzu nodded, gesturing for the princess to follow her. She led her to a silver smaller looking fridge, a fridge that was meant for foods, not ingredients. She reached down, opening the fridge gently. She was shocked to find it empty, she would assume people would have started to make chocolate and to place their molds inside by now. Mana knelt down slowly, making sure not to drop the molds. She placed it inside the cold container with a relieved sigh, good. The first time she had done this, she had dropped it on the way.
"Hey, Mana?" Yugi's voice called. Mana looked up while Anzu looked down at Yugi, who held a chocolate mold in his hands with Atemu at his side. Mana smiled, reaching up for the mold to take it gently from his hands. She placed it next to her mold, making sure they were right next to each other in the far back. Now, they would know which mold was theirs.
"Nice job guys." Mana complimented the three of them, making a move to stand up. Anzu reached down and helped her up, making sure she didn't tip over. Yugi and Atemu smiled at the small action, how cute of the two.
"If I can remember correctly..." Yugi mused, placing a hand to his chin in thought. "It should be done hardening by tomorrow morning." Mana nodded in agreement, knowing that he was correct.
"How will we get them?" Atemu questioned. Yugi rose an eyebrow at him, as if he was asking the most stupid question on the face of the earth.
"You're the royal guests." Yugi told him, crossing his arms. "You have permission to do whatever you want, so you can just come in here tomorrow and get the chocolate whenever you want to." Atemu's mouth formed an 'Oh', he had forgotten about that. Mana and Anzu chuckled at the little exchange, the two would make a cute couple if one of them would just give in. Mana looked between Yugi and Anzu.
"Don't you two have class today still?" She asked, knowing that it did take them a while to cook. Yugi and Anzu exchanged looks, it was still first period, but they had had enough cooking for that day.
"Have you guys seen the whole building yet?" Anzu questioned, hoping that Yugi would go along with her plan. Atemu and Mana looked at her, shaking their heads. Yugi caught on to Anzu's plan instantly, and honestly he was willing to go along with it.
"Then why don't we give you a tour of the place?" Yugi offered, smiling sweetly at Atemu. The two royal's eyes widened, were they allowed to do that?
"Come on!" Anzu pleaded. "You probably need to know this place anyway, after all you're still here for a while, right?" Atemu and Mana looked at each other, it was true that they were still going to be there for a while. But would Seto be okay with them doing this, after all they hadn't even told him where they were. Atemu smiled and shrugged at his sister, as if saying 'Why not?'. Mana smiled back at her brother, nodding at his gesture.
"Alright, since you two want to." Atemu agreed, holding back a chuckle as both Yugi and Anzu smiled brightly at the agreement. They didn't mind missing first period, as long as they didn't go over the time of the period, they were okay with it. The four removed their aprons, placing them down on the counter and beginning to clean up the area.
Atemu and Mana stood next to each other cleaning the utensils. The prince looked to the side, watching as Yugi and Anzu put up the ingredients and aprons. They were good friends, and he really admired that. He let out a slight gasp as he felt Mana nudge his side with her elbow. He rose an eyebrow at her in question.
"My final score is seven." Mana told him with a grin. Atemu chuckled, oh right, that thing. He had seven from what he remembered, but he was so sure he was forgetting something. He shrugged, smiling cheekily as he told her his score.
"My final score is seven as well."
"That is so not fair!"
:I will say that what happened to Yugi in the store happened to me when I was in fifth grade, I was so embarrassed! I hope you liked this chapter, please review!:
