:Hi everyone! I hope you had a fantastic Halloween! Now, I want to point out a review I got and I would like to tell them something. Which is; Please don't worry about me discontinuing this fanfic, all my other Puzzleshipping stories are completed so there's a low chance that I'll stop on this one. And besides even if I wanted to, my boyfriend would nag at me because he also loves this story. So don't worry! I hope you all enjoy this chapter!

Eight briefcases were stacked up to the side of the small friend group. Four sections of cards were scattered, the stacks being mid-way tall so that they wouldn't tumble over. One section had only green cards, another only purple, the others held lightly tanned cards and dark tanned cards. These sections labeled what kind of card they were, as Yugi ordered that they be laid out that way.

The group had agreed to do what he said due to it being mainly an easy way to find a card, and it was easier to clean up when they were done making their decks. All members of the group held in their hands multiple cards with a small, slowly growing stack of cards next to them.

Yugi was closest to the tree they were sitting under, in his hands were many types of spellcaster based monsters. He narrowed his eyes, thinking hard about which monster to put in his deck. He already had chosen his main monster, it was a favorite of his after all, so all he had to do was build around it. He grabbed two cards out his hand with his other, placing it in the small deck next to him before he placed those cards down and picked up the deck. He leaned back against the bark of the tree, looking over his deck to find any flaws.

Joey sat to Yugi's right, laying down on his back with his head close to his small friend's knee. He looked up at the cards in his hands, his deck close to his hip. He shuffled the cards, furrowing his eyebrows as he gazed over them. They were all cute monsters, but he knew that not all beasts were cute. He adjusted the cards, blinking in surprise as he located a card that was hidden behind the others. He restrained a laugh coming from his lips, making a weird sound erupt from the back of his throat. None of the others noticed though, they were too busy with their own cards, and he was somewhat thankful for that. He sat up, beginning to arrange the cards in his hands to the sections Yugi had made them set up.

Bakura sat Indian style, his elbow resting on his knee as he held a handful of cards in his hand. He glared at them, not knowing what he wanted his deck to be. Instead of having one deck at his feet, he had two. He wanted to make two types of decks, but was stuck between the two. Should he make a zombie deck or a dark world deck? Both appealed to him, they reminded him of his Demonology class and he loved that class, despite the difficulty. He looked back and forth between cards in his hands, his mind arguing with him and giving him a slight headache.

Anzu looked to her left, looking at Bakura with a worried glance. He looked like he was having trouble making his deck. She wanted to help, but then if she fought him she would already know what he had and it wouldn't be fair. She looked at the cards in her hand, she already knew what deck she was making, this being the only reason why her deck was bigger than the others. She was looking at spell cards now, having found all the monsters she needed. Although the deck choice she made wasn't exactly the cutest deck in the world, it looked strong and she thought it fit her quite well.

She smiled, looking at a card that would be helpful and taking it out of the cards in her hand. She placed it on top of her deck and looked back to her hand to see if any others would serve her well. She felt two arms sneak their way around her waist, pulling her tightly against a warm chest. Anzu let out a squeal, red spreading to her cheeks as she snapped her head around to see who had done that.

"Well, aren't you jumpy this morning?" Mana giggled, winking at her girlfriend with a smile. Anzu blinked in surprise, before she smiled and leaned back into Mana's arms. "Hey, hold on let me get into a better sitting position here! It hurts being on my knees like this."

"It serves you right, scaring me like that." Anzu replied, moving back to let the princess sit down in a comfortable position, her legs spread out on the grass with Anzu between them.

Mana pulled the girl to her, backing her up into her embrace as she placed her chin on her shoulder. She looked down at the cards in her girlfriend's hand, ignoring the other royals as they came up from behind her. After they were allowed down from those jet packs, she had taken off to go find Anzu, leaving the others behind. She only felt slightly bad, but hey, they would probably do the same thing if they had a lover waiting for them somewhere.

"You didn't have to run that fast." Malik spoke, pouting as he maneuvered himself in Bakura's direction. He heard Mana let out a raspberry in his direction.

"You know that you would run that fast if Bakura was your lover." Mana responded, returning her attention to the cards in Anzu's grip.

Malik pouted, knowing that that was true, but still! If school wasn't in session the four friends would always be together, so Mana running to Anzu would lead him to Bakura. He needed to know where she was going! He looked down to Bakura, who was glaring at the cards in his hands and ruffling his hair with his free hand. He pouted, he looked stressed from what he could see. He placed himself next to Bakura, copying his style of sitting.

"Are you okay?" Malik whispered, leaning over to his ear.

Bakura let out a gasp, jumping back and having to steady himself upright with his hands. He looked at Malik, his eyes wide in shock before he took in who had scared him. Oh, it was just Malik. He took a deep breath, shaking his head.

"You scared me." He told the royal, sitting himself back up straight and making sure he didn't knock over his decks.

"I'm sorry." Malik chuckled. "I just wanted to know if you were okay, that's all."

"I'm fine." Bakura replied, giving him a crooked smile. "I just have a slight headache, that's all." He watched the royal form his mouth into the shape of an 'O', before the boy got on all fours and crawled to the back of him. He felt slender fingers go through his hair, massaging his scalp. Oh...

"Hey, you don't-"

"But I want to." Malik interrupted, smiling as he moved his fingers through Bakura's hair. "Also, this way I can look at your hand without needing to lean over." He leaned down to Bakura's ear. "So, I can help you."

Bakura felt warmth spread to his cheeks, nodding in response as he lifted his hand to the royal so he could see a little better. Maybe Malik could help him decide which deck to use.

"Mana." A harsh voice called out to the princess, gaining her attention.

"I know the drill, Seto." Mana yelled back, a purple card held in her hand, her arm still wrapped tightly around Anzu's waist. "Don't run off again like that, I'm a lady, blah blah blah." She heard Anzu giggle at this.

"Seto's a lady?" Anzu whispered, giggling. Her girlfriend shook her head with a laugh, giving her a card and commenting on it before she placed it on top of her deck.

"I heard that, Anzu." Seto told her, walking past the girl couple with his hands in his pockets. He didn't even need to look at her to know she was pouting, he had seen her and heard about her enough to know her actions. After all, Mana wouldn't shut up about her now.

He lowered his eyes to Joey, who was laying on his back, cards in front of his eyes with a concentrated glare. He looked serious like that, too serious. That couldn't be right, now could it? He walked over to the blond boy, kicking him gently in the side to gain his attention.

Joey jerked himself upright, the cards flying out of his hands as he scooted himself back in fright. He looked around, wondering where the mysterious kick came from, before he looked up and noticed the royal adviser in front of him. He face palmed, dragging his hand down his face to try to calm himself down.

"Could you not scare me like that, you jerk!" Joey yelled out, pointing at Seto with a harsh glare on his face.

"Why?" Bakura commented, turning his eyes to his friend. "It's fun to scare you, Yugi and I do it all the time."

"No one's talking to you!"

"Yeah, yeah." Bakura chuckled, reaching up and grabbing Malik's hand before dragging him over to sit beside him, indicating that his headache was now gone.

"I believe I would have scared you no matter what action I tried." Seto spoke, trying to act formal once again. He couldn't act normal around the other royals, he had slipped up once, he couldn't do it again. He looked down at Joey, finding him to be glaring up at him.

"Hey." Joey spoke, reaching a hand out as if needing a hand up.

Seto reached down, grabbing at his hand to help him up. But instead of a force allowing him to lift, he felt a force pull him down instead. He let out a yell, his body crashing onto the ground face-first beside Joey. He tasted grass in his mouth, feeling rage boil up in his blood. He got on his knees, lifting himself up on his hands and turning his head to glare at the boy who was looking at him with a bored look on his face.

"What in Ra's name was that for?!" Seto yelled, gaining the attention of everyone around them. "Do you have any idea about how grass can stain your clothes?!"

"Uh huh."

"No you don't! If you did, you wouldn't have pull me down onto the Ra-forsaken grass, now would you?!"

"Maybe."

"What do you mean maybe?!"

"That's better."

"Better?! What's better? My clothes?! Because they aren't getting any bet-"

"Your way of speaking, that's what's better."

"My-!" Seto stopped yelling, his eyes widening as he finally contemplated over what had happened. He rose a hand to his mouth, covering it as his face turned bright red. He had spoken informally, again!

"Well, how about that?" Mana smirked, turning her eyes to Malik to see if he had heard.

"I didn't hear him yesterday, but I have to be deaf to not hear that." Malik commented, returning the smirk to Mana.

Seto felt embarrassment rise up in his chest, before he felt someone take his hand off his mouth and lower it to the ground. He turned his eyes to Joey, who was smiling at him.

"We're all friends here, dude." Joey spoke softly. "Chill a little bit, okay?" He adjusted his body so he was sitting up with a knee propped up. He reached for his deck and the cards he had held. "Here, help me with this, would ya?"

Seto's eyes widened, his cheeks becoming warm in something that wasn't embarrassment. The power this blond held over him was unimaginable, he thought, nodding in agreement as he took the same sitting position as Joey and looked at the cards in his hands.

Yugi looked over the cards in his grip, all of them being monsters that were spellcasters. He needed one more monster and then he could move on to spells and traps, but he couldn't decide what he needed. Maybe he could add in another high level monster, but would that be a good idea? He narrowed his eyes, reaching a hand to a card before a tanned hand came into view and grabbed a different card.

"If you're using spellcasters." A deep voice resounded in his ear. "Then, I would recommend this."

Yugi blushed, red taking over the color of his face as he turned his head to the side to see Atemu standing next to him, a hand on the tree to hold himself up. He smiled up at the royal, before turning his eyes back to the card in the prince's hand.

"Magician of Faith?" Yugi said, reaching for the card and taking it into his hand as Atemu placed himself next to him. He scooted to the side, allowing the prince to lean his back against the tree as well.

"Yes." Atemu told him. " She's good if you need spell cards, since her effect is if you flip her she can retrieve a spell card from the graveyard."

"And she's a spellcaster." Yugi added onto the explanation. "So that makes her perfect." He looked at the royal for any disagreement, instead he nodded in agreement. Yugi grabbed at his deck, placing the magician on top of it. He shuffled it, counting the number of monsters he had in it now. There was 17, a good number.

"Is that a deck?" Atemu questioned, pointing at the small stack resting in Yugi's hands.

"An unfinished one, Atemu." Yugi rolled his eyes, making the royal chuckle in response. "I just need to get some spells and traps in it and it'll be done."

"We only have about twenty-five minutes left," Atemu looked at his wrist, revealing the watch he had refused to take off. "So we should get started finding those cards now."

"We?" Yugi questioned, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"Yes, we." Atemu smirked. " If this is all you have after thirty-five minutes of constructing a deck." He took hold of the small deck in Yugi's hand. "Then you need my help."

Yugi flushed a bright pink, pouting at the comment. He was just trying to make sure that it was perfect, that's all! He reached over for a stack in the spell card section, taking it into his hands.

"Then you take trap card duty." Yugi ordered. "I'll get spell cards."

"That's fine with me." Atemu chuckled, reaching over for the trap card section. "You know that within the hour, you have to choose someone to duel right?"

Yugi froze, he did? He looked at Atemu in shock, finding him to be smirking at him. Did he have to?

"That's only if you're participating, Atemu." Seto called out, a card held in his hands before he handed it off to Joey.

"Who turned off the proper switch in you?" Atemu asked, honestly confused and shocked at the sudden change in speech.

"Joey." Anzu told him. "He threw him to the ground and sent him on a rant." She placed a card on top of her deck and gave a card to Mana.

"It was funny." Bakura commented. "I thought I would never see the day Mr. Ice-Cold here would break free from his shell."

"I'll break your skull if you call me that again."

"Put Ice-Cold back in the freezer, when he's thawed out he's violent."

"Seto." Malik spoke calmly. "If you injure Bakura, you'll be waking up in a pile of your own piss and without hair."

Bakura lifted his eyes to Malik, his eyes widening at how calmly he had said that. Okay, that was scary.

"Understood." Seto replied, before someone grabbed his ear harshly and began to pinch it. "Hey, that hurts!" He turned his gaze to Joey, who was narrowing his eyes at him.

"Informally."

"I get it."

"Good."

"Seto, you're whipped." Yugi laughed, his hands holding five spell cards.

"Joey's the dog here," Seto said, pointing at the dog. "Not me."

"What'd you say?!" Joey yelled, glaring at the adviser as the man smirked at him.

"You're a dog."

"No, you're the dog!"

"Oh yes, I forgot. My apologies, you're actually a mutt, aren't you?"

"I am going to kill you!"

"Alright, I challenge you then."

"Wait, what?" Joey blinked in confusion, his rage beginning to die down at the sudden statement.

Seto smirked, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a deck.

"I challenge you to a duel when it's time." He leaned close to Joey, forcing the boy to back up in response. "What do you say?" He watched his face become a bright red, he could almost feel his heart hammering in his chest.

"Y-You're on!" Joey uttered out, waiting for Seto to move before he moved back up. After a moment, the adviser did move, allowing him to move back to his original position.

"So you did make one?" Malik questioned. "We thought you didn't from how you didn't come to the main room to make one with us."

"You made one?" Bakura asked, raising an eyebrow at the dusty blond.

"We all did." Malik told him, reaching into his own back pocket and pulling out a deck. "See?"

The royal siblings copied his actions, reaching into their pockets and pulling out their own deck, shocking the person near them. When did they make one? Did they have early access to cards before them? It would make sense, they were the visiting royalty.

"Well, in that case." Bakura placed a final card on the top of his chosen deck, holding it out in front of him. He smiled at the royal. "Would you like to duel?"

"I might lose though." Malik chuckled, smiling back at the silvered haired boy.

"That's a risk you have to take when playing a game." Bakura tapped Malik on the head with his deck. "So, yes or no?"

"Alright, it might be fun." He agreed, smiling brightly at him.

"Hey Anzu?" Mana whispered, squeezing her girlfriend tightly to get her attention, the girl letting out a yelp at the sudden action.

"I don't want to hurt you, Mana." Anzu told her, already knowing what she was going to ask.

"Come on," Mana drew out, nuzzling Anzu's neck with her nose. "I promise to be gentle!"

"You're making it sound dirty." Anzu pouted, before dropping the pout and forming a smile. "But fine, if you insist. You better be prepared though, my girls won't go down easy."

"You be prepared too." Mana spoke, moving her lips up to Anzu's ear and kissing it. "My ladies won't go down without a fight either."

Yugi blinked in surprise at what had just happened. Within the course of five minutes, three duels were already decided! He looked down at his deck, knowing that Atemu was already done with choosing the trap cards. He darted his eyes back to his hand, which held his final spell card. He placed it on top of the deck, moving his gaze to it just in time to see a tanned hand place itself over his own pale one.

"Well, Yugi..." Atemu spoke gently, his forehead suddenly close to Yugi's own temple. "Everyone else is dueling, so..."

Yugi blushed, his mouth drying all of a sudden, his chest hurting from starting to beat so fast. He bit his lip before gulping and turning his eyes up to meet the prince's.

"No catch?" Yugi whispered. Every other time they did something like this, may it be the race or the quiz, there was always a gamble to be made.

"No catch." Atemu replied softly. "Just us having fun, that's all." He gripped Yugi's hand tightly, knowing that his own heart was going a million miles an hour from this action alone. "Would you honor me with a duel, Yugi?"

Yugi blushed brighter, what was wrong with him? Why was holding hands with him doing this? It was stupid, the prince was just a friend and being this close to him didn't use to affect him this badly. He didn't know what was wrong. He tossed the thoughts out of his head, don't think about this now. It wasn't important.

Crimson was locked with Amethyst, the two colors gazing at each other. Crimson waited patiently, while the Amethyst closed its color for a second before opening once more to utter out a reply.

"Fine."

:Okay, using the paragraph rule was harder than I thought. I noticed that I would always make a grammatical error, which was to make paragraphs where it would be two people in the same one. Like I would make Anzu talk and think, and in the same paragraph I would make Yugi think as well. If it isn't an error I would like someone to message me about it, because I'm not sure. Anyway! I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Please review!:
