:Ugh! I hate being busy with school, it's such a pain! But you all know this struggle, so I don't really have to explain it anymore XD. I do want to announce something, because I think this might help when someone requests for me to write, I have updated my profile to show some of the Yugioh pairings I like and dislike, including the ones I love and hate. It's not the full list, because if I had to go through the entire list and place love, like, dislike, hate next to each one I would go crazy. I hope you enjoy this chapter!:
Pegasus walked around the area, gazing at everything around him. Five bubbles were already filled with students dueling, with some standing at the side cheering for their friend. He stepped to the side of one, smiling as he witnessed a student summon their strongest monster, forcing panic to appear on the others face.
Fantastic, he thought, the event is becoming a booming success! He hummed with happiness, glad to see his students having fun. He stopped in mid walk, looking around for a moment, scrunching his eyebrows together. But where were they? He hadn't seen Yugi and his friends yet, and the royals had run away from him the first chance they got. He knew why though, he had cameras hidden throughout the school, how could he not know?
Mana and Anzu had gotten together, and it was such a sweet confession. He chuckled to himself, remembering when he was in love with someone. Surely, this would benefit the royals greatly due to those girls. Mana seemed to always bring the other royals with her if they were near or willing, and usually wherever Anzu was her friends were with her. The girls have acted, now when will the boys play their part?
"Mr. Pegasus." A voice called out, one that Pegasus knew well. How convenient! He was just thinking about the little sport. He turned around, allowing a smile to come onto his face as he noticed Yugi walking to him, waving at him from afar. He let his smile drop slightly in shock, would you look at that? Behind Yugi were the royals and his friends, expect for one royal who decided to walk side by side with him. Pegasus smirked slightly at this, how cute.
"Ah, hello Yugi." He greeted, dropping his small smirk and changing it to his normal smile. "Have you constructed a deck yet?" A reply was given by the gesture of Yugi reaching into his pocket, pulling out a stack of cards, making him chuckle in acknowledgment.
"I see, so you have." Pegasus looked to all of his friends, and of course, the royals. "You all look like a happy bunch, are you excited for some certain reason?" The excitement shown on the teens' face had to be of one out of two reasons; One: They are all together with their crush or Two: They want to duel each other.
"Do you mind if each of us take a field?" Yugi requested politely, placing his deck back into his pockets.
Pegasus smiled brightly, so the later choice was right. He looked amongst the eight teens, he already knew who would be dueling who. He wasn't exactly the most stupid principal in the world.
"Of course." He replied, turning around and gesturing forward.
"Please, follow me."

Joey looked around the area, making sure to follow Yugi as he walked. It looked like only five pairs of kids were dueling, but even then he would see students scattered amongst the area, putting the final touches on their decks. He smiled brightly at this, he might have a lot of fun with this event!
He glanced to the side of him, finding a pair of ice cold eyes looking at him with a small smile. He flushed, his face burning bright red at the sudden gaze.
"W-What?" Joey asked, his voice soft so no one but Seto could hear him. The royal let out a chuckle, reaching a hand over and taking his hand into his own.
"You look excited," Seto replied, copying the quiet tone. "It's cute." He turned his head back around, his eyes now forward while the blond next to him had a fight with his overly fast beating heart and his heated face.
Joey gulped, knowing that he shouldn't be overreacting as much, but how else was he supposed to react?! He tried to calm himself down, only to find that he would become worked up again as soon as he felt a squeeze come from the grip the adviser had on his hand.
The eight of them stopped moving, finding themselves to be in front of a large bubble. Pegasus walked up to it, going to the small machine near it and pushing a couple buttons, making the bubble open its doors on each end. The principal turned his eyes back to the teens.
"Now, the duel won't start until," Pegasus rose a finger. "You enter the bubble and the doors close shut behind you, and-" He rose another. "You yell out the words En Garde." He smiled at them. "Now, who wants to go in first?"
"I believe we will." Seto spoke out, gesturing to the flustered teen beside him. Pegasus smiled brighter, nodding and watching as the royal let go of Joey's hand.
"Go get him, Joey!" Mana called out, cupping a hand to her mouth.
"Yeah! Beat him down!" Malik yelled, smiling happily as he did this.
"Shouldn't you guys be cheering for Seto?" Bakura asked, raising an amused yet confused eyebrow. This caused a laugh to escape from Atemu.
"Seto always lectures and yells at us." Atemu explained. "So, I'm not surprised that they would cheer for Joey." Bakura nodded in response, understanding now. Well, the guy was kinda creepy.
"Come on." Seto whispered in Joey's ear, before taking off to the far end of the bubble. Joey pouted, just when he had calmed himself down the guy just had to go and do something else!
He shook his head, don't think about it, just go inside the dang bubble. He walked to the closest end, entering slowly and looking around. As soon as he stepped in, the door shut behind him, not even making the slightest of sounds. He turned his head to the side, a strange device was placed on the ground. He walked to it, taking it into his hands and observing it.
It was a strange white and blue device, the white being the entire color with blue squares and center. What was this black rectangular thing in the middle, it looked like a digital clock kind of thing. He knew he had seen something like this before, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He slipped the device onto his arm, seeing as there was a strange band there to stick your hand into.
Joey narrowed his eyes at the device, trying to figure out what it was. He looked down at the fine print near the base of it, bright red words yelled at him, labeling the item; Duel Disk. His eyes widened, so that's what it was! He had seen these for sell when he was back in middle school, but they were so expensive, how did...He shook his head, this school was high tech as hell, why was he about to question as to why the school had the expensive toy thing?
He looked across the bubble to see Seto placing the disk on, apparently already knowing what to do with it. The royal turned his eyes to him, opening his mouth to speak;
"Are you ready?" Seto spoke, his voice resounding around the area and scaring poor Joey. How the hell did that happen?! The blond thought, the guy was like a hundred feet away from him!
"Our voices are amplified in here so we can hear each other." Seto explained, noticing his interest's confusion. "Now, are you ready?"
Joey glanced across, honey locking with ice. He smirked, reaching into his pocket and pulling out his deck. He watched Seto do the same with his own. The two placed them in the device, it clicked into action, the lights coming on and stretching out into it's real appearance. The two never broke eye contact, refusing to leave the others gaze.
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be."

"They looked like they were about to go and kill each other." Malik uttered out, narrowing his eyes as they walked onto another bubble. Bakura let out a laugh at this, the royal had cheered for Joey and now he's worried?
"They won't kill each other." Bakura assured him. "Joey might throw a couple punches, but I'm pretty sure Mr. Ice Cold can handle it." Malik nodded, turning his eyes to the side to glance at Bakura.
"Are you going to punch me?" He asked, worry laced in his voice. Bakura stopped dead in his tracks, turning his head to look at Malik. The royal stopped with him, his eyes becoming trapped in the gaze of Bakura's orbs. He blushed, his heart beginning to pound.
"W-What?" He uttered out, not knowing how to react as Bakura came closer, so close that Malik could feel his breath touching his face.
"Why would I hurt you?" Bakura asked, not caring that he was so close to the royal. Malik gulped, his eyes never leaving Bakura's.
"In the past you would have..." Malik whispered. "S-So, I was just-" He let out a yelp, feeling arms wrap around his body as he was pulled close to a warm torso.
"That was then." Bakura breathed in his ear, causing shivers to go up the royal's spine. "This is now." Malik's mouth dried out, his hands on Bakura's shoulders as he gripped them tightly and pushed back slightly, the two teens' eyes locking once again as they were only an inch away from each other.
"And Bakura and Malik exchange lifepoints, making their total sixteen-thousand because of the kiss they shared." Yugi's voice broke through their thoughts, stopping any action of them moving forward. The two blushed brighter, pulling away from one another, their eyes going everywhere but to each other.
"Did anyone catch that on camera?" Anzu asked, giggling at the almost kiss the two boys had shared. As soon as those two had stopped moving, the entire group stopped and had just watched.
"I have cameras all throughout the school, Anzu." Pegasus told her. "So, it is most likely caught on camera." the two flustered boys' eyes widened, both of them wanting to kill the principal at that moment.
"Now, now, don't be mad." Pegasus laughed, gesturing to the side. "You stopped in front of an empty bubble, so why don't you go in and then show your affection?" He chuckled, watching as the teens turned away from each other and went into the bubble, seeing as Pegasus had opened it while they had their moment.
"Bakura, are you mad?" Malik called out as soon as the doors shut behind them. He watched as the silver haired teen reached down and grabbed the duel disk off the floor. Pegasus had told them what it was when they had watched Joey and Seto put it on.
Bakura looked up to Malik, glancing across to find the royal staring at him, waiting for his answer. He was mad at two people, himself and the principal. What was wrong with him? Nothing had really changed between him and Malik, the only thing that changed was the fact that he looked so different to him now. As if he had unlocked a new cuteness feature in the royal. He blushed, wanting to punch himself.
"No, not at you." Bakura reached into his pocket, pulling out his deck and placing it in the duel disk. "But I'm serious, you know."
Malik placed on the duel disk, taking out his deck and inserting it into the disk as well. He rose his eyes to Bakura's, their gaze enveloping the others. He smiled, he should have known that Bakura wouldn't hurt him, but he was just curious...
"I'm glad."

Anzu smiled happily, her arm linked with Mana's as they walked down to the next bubble. She looked at her girlfriend, finding her to already be looking at her. She blushed, reaching to her and placing a kiss on her cheek.
"Hey now." Mana laughed, reaching back to her and giving her a kiss on the cheek as well. "If you get to do it, I get to do it."
"I know." Anzu breathed out, tightening her hold on her girlfriend's arm.
"Did you see the look on Bakura's face?" Mana asked, wanting to start a conversation. Anzu laughed, nodding quickly.
"Yeah, but the look they shared was even greater." Anzu commented. "I think they may have more sexual tension between them than Atemu and Yugi."
"We do not have sexual tension between us!" Yugi snapped, turning his head around to the girls, his face turning a shade of red.
"Yes you do." Mana spoke. "We all see the looks you throw each other during breakfast." Atemu turned his head to his sister, raising an eyebrow while Yugi just blushed harder and looked away, his gaze refusing to leave the ground.
"There are no looks." Yugi grumbled under his breath. Where was the next bubble and when does it pop up so they can get rid of these lovesick girls?!
"Oh, there are looks all right." Atemu argued, making Yugi shoot his head up. "But they're mainly from me to Yugi." The smaller teen blushed harder, why did he have to reply to that? Couldn't he have just let it be and shut them up?
"'Don't play along!" Yugi ordered, making the royal shoot a glance at him.
"I'm not playing along." Atemu assured him. "I'm just telling some facts." He turned his eyes to Yugi, forcing the boy's line of sight still. "After all, how can I not look at such a beauty?"
"What-..." Yugi uttered out, not knowing how to reply to a comment like that. Well, he did call you beautiful on the chocolate, didn't you expect him to say something like that? He looked down, breaking his gaze as he tried to calm his heart down. It was beating so fast that it was starting to hurt...
"Never mind, they still have more." Mana observed, making Anzu giggle at the statement. Atemu just smiled at this, there was a tension between him and Yugi, not the old anger tension that it used to be. If it was sexual, then he surely wouldn't mind.
"Who's next?" Pegasus questioned, turning away from the machine to look at the four remaining friends.
"We'll go!" Anzu spoke out, raising a hand like a child in school. She smiled brightly and leaned over to give another kiss on the cheek to the princess, before releasing her and heading to the nearest side of the bubble.
Mana shook her head in amusement, waving to the boys and taking off to the end. Those two really needed to get working on their relationship. Anyone could see that Yugi was being affected by Atemu now, and everyone knew what that meant.
She walked in the bubble, looking to the ground and taking the duel disk off of it. She placed it on, already knowing what to do due to watching the others put it on. She reached into her pocket, retrieving her deck, she moved it inside the disk, smiling as it came to life on her arm.
"I won't go easy, Anzu." Mana spoke, smiling as she rose her head and looked across to the beautiful girl on the other side.
Anzu smirked, moving a strand of hair behind her ear to move it out of her eyes. Their eyes locked with one another.
"Neither will I, Mana!"

"I'm not a beauty, by the way." Yugi spoke, making his way to the final bubble as he shot a slight glance at Atemu. The prince rose an eyebrow at him, chuckling.
"Yes you are." Atemu told him. "One of the greatest ones I've ever seen to be honest." Yugi couldn't get the damn blush off his face, and his heart wouldn't calm down for anything. Why was this royal being so flirty now? He used to hate it, but now he just didn't know how to feel about it.
"You're just being nice." Yugi tried to convince himself. He knew the prince liked him, so there was no way that he was just being nice. "I'm a normal kid with a normal face."
"Correction; You're an extraordinary young male with an awe-striking face." Atemu said calmly, trying to hide a smirk as Yugi's eyes widened at the statement.
"What's with you today?" Yugi mumbled out. "You're being more flirty than usual."
"No, I'm not." Atemu argued. "I'm being as normal as ever."
"If you say so..." Yugi sighed, watching as the principal messed with the machine. "Are you sure there's no catch to this?" Atemu rose an eyebrow at him.
"You don't believe me?"
"No, it's just..." Yugi scratched the back of his head. "I'm used to you making a bet or something like that..." Atemu let out a chuckle in understanding.
"Believe me, Yugi." Atemu smiled. "There is no catch to this, it's just another attempt to become closer to you." Yugi rolled his eyes at this, he was close enough. He went from hated to a friend, shouldn't that be enough?
"You're my friend now." Yugi told him. "That isn't enough?" He was an idiot for saying this, he knew he was. He knew what the royal wanted, but he just had to say it, didn't he?
Atemu narrowed his eyes, taking hold of Yugi's chin and moving it up to look him in the eye.
"No, it isn't." Atemu spoke, his tone serious and firm. "I don't want you as a friend. I want you as something more." He moved his face closer. "I won't be satisfied with the friend title, the only title I'll be satisfied with..." Yugi's eyes widened, noticing the royal coming closer to his face, his chin locked in place due to Atemu's hand. What was he doing?!
"It's ready." Pegasus interrupted, turning around and forcing Atemu to stop his advances. The prince let go of Yugi, giving him a small smirk and wink before he moved to the far end of the bubble. Yugi couldn't believe it! His mouth was dry as hell, his chest was hurting, he was completely stunned. He rose a hand to cover his mouth, did he almost...?
"Yugi?" Pegasus said gently, gaining the boy's attention. "Are you alright?" Yugi gulped, nodding in response before he made his way into the bubble.
He entered the field, not hearing the door shut behind him as he looked across to find Atemu with the duel disk already on his arm, his deck placed into it. His arms were crossed and he was smiling in his direction.
Yugi felt his face reacting before he could even process the fact that the royal was smiling at him. This was stupid, what was happening to him? He reached down to the duel disk, shoving it onto his arm and reaching into his pocket. He fished out his deck quickly, practically throwing it into the disk.
"Hey..." Yugi tried to speak, looking over to the smiling royal. "Good luck."
Atemu nodded, his smile changing into a smirk as he made sure to lock his crimson with Yugi's amethyst. He narrowed his eyes, the smirk still present, before he let out a wink as he spoke;
"Good luck to you too, my prince."
:Everyone stop flirting you're making me say D'aw too often! Anzu and Mana stop being so mushy gushy, it's rubbing off on everyone else! I hope you enjoyed this chapter, because the next one is the very first duel! Please review!:
