Nami glanced at the princess who had temporarily joined their crew. Her peaceful life was in shambles, one of the Warlords was after her and Luffy along with his 2000 minions. What had she done to deserve this? She glanced at Zoro and wondered if it was because of her interest she charged him and it was elaborate ruse, "No…he's too stupid."
"Who's stupid?"
Nami jumped at the voice, "Luffy…Is this okay?"
"Is what okay?"
"Going after one of the seven warlords? Going to Little Garden which Miss All Sunday said was certain death, what if something happens?!"
Luffy just laughed and began to rub her back gently, a habit he had started to do when he noticed it helped relax her, "Nothing will happen. I won't let anything happen to you as long as I'm alive."
"I hate it when you say that." Nami said as she leaned in closer keeping an eye on the rest of the crew, "I don't want you to give your life for mine."
"I know…have you gotten any closer to Vivi?"
"She's alright, but are you sure you didn't say yes just for another distraction from Sanji?" Nami asked with a smirk.
"Did you talk to Zoro?!"
Nami laughed and quickly moved away as everyone turned to look at them. "That was close…"
"Do we really need to hide our relationship? Everyone knows already." Luffy said with a sigh.
Nami raised her eyebrow then grabbed his hand and gave a sudden flirty laugh, "Stop it, Luffy! You are too funny!"
"But I didn't say anything?"
"Luffy…HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY NAMI-SWAN!" Sanji yelled kicking his captain off of his ship.
Zoro blinked and then looked for his drowning captain, "Shouldn't you go get him?"
"Anyone who touches my Nami can drown for all I care."
Nami sighed and walked over and saw Zoro not going to save Luffy, "Hey why aren't you swimming? Are you actually waiting for someone else?"
"Isn't this all your fault? You did that just to prove a point."
"Don't you owe me money?"
"Burn in hell." Zoro responded before going to retrieve his captain.
Luffy back on board frowned at Nami, "I almost drowned!"
"And this is why we hide our relationship! I love you though, so please stay safe." Nami said seriously as she reached up on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek before helping him get dry which made Luffy blush. "I didn't know you could get so red! I like it, it's very attractive."
Luffy raised an eyebrow before quickly searching for Sanji, "Well you know, I can be quite attractive." He grabbed her around her waist and dipped her and kissed her quick before returning her to her feet and running to the front of the ship, "ON TO LITTLE GARDEN!"
"We're already going there idiot!" Sanji yelled.
Nami just laughed and basked in the sun, even when everything was going wrong, some things were just so right.
