Haruka lay, stunned on the bed. Did that really happen? she wondered, rolling onto her side. Shivering, she pulled up the covers, frowning in uncertainty. Why would he be so clumsy as to do something like that? He never fell like that before! And he should have been strong enough to keep her and himself standing. Did he...do that on purpose, to upset her? No, he never cared about doing things her before.

Vivid pictures of Ren flashed around in her mind, causing a blush to come over her. His sculpted lips, his duly red cheeks, his glowing eyes, filled with some strange emotion she could not read. Life was so much easier before he came into her life. She never had to deal with this before, when she was living with her Grandmother. She remembered how she was always treated with care and love, never a hinder or annoyance to those around her.

But it seemed like now she was all those things and much more. Small tears rolled down her face, yet no sob played it's sad melody. She was quite, completely mute. She stared out the window at the world outside. It was slowly getting warmer, since spring was right around the corner. You could see it in the air.

Yet as warm as the outside world was, her heart was slowly freezing. She had never been exposed to the elements before, but now that she was married and living with Ren, she felt like she was taking the full brunt of the storm for the first time. And it was disheartening to lose all of that comfort in her world. She thought things were getting better, but now it was all going down hill again. She didn't like the direction all of this was going in at all. She knew something was going wrong since Ren started paying attention to her. He ignored her for so long that she almost felt like he had no right to speak so familiarly to her and to touch her so easily. What was he even trying to do?

"Haruka~" Haruka lifted her head as Cecil entered the room, a large smile on his face as he frolicked into the room. He wandered over to Haruka's bed and sat down. Haruka pushed her pillow into her face, laying down to cover her red eyes. "Haruka, I'm sooo sorry, but I have to leave soon because of royal matters. There was a mix up and apparently I was supposed to return yesterday even though it was originally to be in three days. But that's fine, at least I got to meet you!" Cecil babbled.

"Okay." Haruka said, her words muffled by the bed. Cecil blinked, staring at her, blinking in confusion.

"Haruka, are you alright? You seem really down" Haruka nodded from under the pillow, giving him a verbal response when she remembered that he couldn't see her from under her comfy pillow like hat. "You don't look alright, are you sure?"

"I'm fine..." Haruka sighed, closing her eyes.

"Then why are you under a pillow. Cecil hopped off of her bed and kneeled on the ground. He placed his cheek on the bed, laying his head by her's. Haruka peaked out at him, spotting him sitting there, that kind smile on his face. Suddenly, pictured of Ren flashed through her mind, sitting there, laying his face on the mattress, that gentle smile on his gorgeous face. Haruka's eyes widened and she quickly scooted under the pillow, shutting her eyes tight.

"I knew it! There is something wrong!" Cecil said, jumping up. He jumped onto her bed and began to shake her wildly. Haruka gripped her bed, trying not to fall off from Cecil's violent shakings. "Come on, get up!"

"C-Cecil-san, please stop that!" Haruka squeaked, terrified.

"Come on, get up, it's a great day today, see?" Cecil rushed to the window, throwing it open and sticking his head out. At that moment a rumble of thunder shook the air and a blanket of water came down from the sky, blowing into the room and soaking Cecil. "W-WATER!" He screamed, jumping away from the window and rushing to the corner, rolling up in a ball and staring in terror at the rain fall. Haruka flinched when Cecil yelled and yelped when her sheets were soaked through and touched her warm skin. She threw up her sheets and became pelted by the rain. Haruka rushed to the window and shut it, panting as she sunk to the wet floor.

A few minutes latter the maids had come and were handing them fresh towels to dry themselves off with. The two of them had already had a laugh over the entire matter, giggling with each other over the incident. They were drying themselves while looking out at the storm together.

"So you don't like water?" Haruka asked, rubbing her head harshly with the pink towel, scrubbing as much as she could to get herself dry. It would be a shame to get sick again right after Cecil had nursed her back to health the way he did.

"Well... drinking is fine, but I hate getting wet!" Cecil shivered, shaking his wet hair back and forth, drizzling Haruka with an indoor rain shower. Haruka shivered, quickly drying herself off.

"Cecil-san, where did you learn to dry yourself?" Haruka mumbled, frowning.

"W-well, like I said, I don't like getting wet so I don't really know... how..." Cecil blushed, looking down.

"Honestly, your troublesome." Haruka smiled, shaking her head. She grabbed a spare towel and began to dry Cecil down with it, rubbing his wet hair, slowly soaking up all of the water.

"Haruka, you're just like a mother~" Cecil giggled, smiling kindly at Haruka. Haruka smiled back when a knock was heard on the door.

"Come in." Haruka said, allowing an older maid to enter.

"Master Cecil, your car is here to pick you up now." The lady said, bowing to him.

"Alright," Cecil posted, frowning "I'll see you again Haruka, alright?" Cecil smiled, standing up. Haruka hummed in agreement and Cecil left the room, leaving her alone with the old maid. Haruka stood up, moving to the bed when a voice called out to her.

"Honestly young Mrs, you must stop causing problems for everyone here. Opening the window and letting the rain in, how irresponsible! Don't do it again." The older maid scolded, shutting the door. Suddenly, all the warmth from Cecil seemed to drain out of the room, leaving it bitter and cold. Tears prickled at her eyes once more as they fell down her cheeks. She couldn't believe that maid just said that. It wasn't even her fault! She wiped her eyes, her eyebrows curving down in anger.

That was it, that was the last straw! She wasn't going to take this anymore. What reason did she have for staying here? Why did she have to put up with his? Well, she wouldn't, not anymore. Come tomorrow, she would be long gone front this house!

It's what you've been wanting for a long time- Haruka's big escape! She's going to flee and leave this place.
