Haruka sat on the floor, tears in the corners of her eyes and her teeth clenched. She sniffled and wipes away a tear that threatened to fall down her cheek. She had many papers spread out around her, some with writing on them, some still blank, and quite a few with useless scribbles all over them- which were now crumpled and thrown to the other side of the room, towards the trash can. Sitting next to her was a laptop, a long search history now embedded into it.

Haruka bit her pencil, squirming in place to relieve the stress of sitting on her legs, cutting the blood flow. She felt tingles shocking up and down her legs, like ticklish shocks and shivers. She did her best to ignore them but couldn't seem to keep still. If she didn't finish soon, it would be too late and she'd have to wait until next Saturday- the only day where there are a small enough number of guards to sneak away and escape from the residence.

She gathered the papers she needed and tossed some more away to the garbage. She bit the end of her pencil as she wrote down some places she could run too. She mentioned her own home, the park they went too before, and some hotels she could stay at. She typed in another search for a few good places to stay at and one in particular caught her eye. She crumpled up her list of places to stay and threw it away. She wrote it down on another piece of paper, including a list of directions on how to get there from here, going as far to replicate a map to the best of her abilities.

She organised her papers, smiling to herself. She only had a few out of the bunch with her- including the map, a list of people working tonight, another map of the mansion, a map of the gardens-leading to her hidey ho where she could escape from-, and some contact info. Haruka packed them all up in her satchel and picked out some good, a rope, durable clothing that would last her a while, along with some money and sell-able jewelry.

She closed her bag and headed to the door, slowly opening it. She made sure she was dressed in her black clothing, including a black shirt and black skinny jeans. She nodded to herself, taking a deep breath in and a deep breath out. She tiptoed down the hallway, quickly taking out her pen and crossing off the doors she passes and the hallways she turns into. Tonight, she wasn't going to mess up even one step- she was determined to get out on the first try. After all, she was sure that they would increase security if she was caught even once trying to get away. She would be heavily guarded at all times and constantly watched. She might be operating like an agent tonight, but there was no way in hell she would be about to do a really hard mission like an agent, it would be just too difficult for her. She knew her limits. She also knew that she could only stand one more day in here before she went crazy.

She turned to the front of the building, spotting the stairs. However, she stayed still, knowing very well that the only check for the next twenty minutes was now, so someone would come around soon the check out the lobs. Very true to Haruka's prediction, a man holding a flashlight suddenly appeared, checking the place out, shining his light beam all over the place before shutting it off and walking down another hall. Haruka waited until she heard a door close before moving. She headed down the stairs, creeping around the floor, trying to stay as quiet as she could. She had to keep quiet, or risk being found out by the security guard. Even one sound could alert him to a trespasser. Still, Haruka managed to stay quiet all the way to the door. Now was the tricky part. Moving the door suddenly would alert the night guard outside to movement, but moving it slowly would cause him to hear it and turn around. Haruka pulled out the rope and quickly tied it to the door knob.

She opened the door a peak and then stopped, moving the the other end quickly. She learned from experience that if you wanted to quiet the door down you would have to press down on the bottom door hinge. She pressed down on it, pulling the door open slowly. It cracked quietly once or twice, but overall, it was quiet most of the time. Once it was wide enough, she let go of the rope, quickly untying it and stuffing it in her bag.

She peaked out, spotting the security guard quickly. He was far away at the time, near the front gate. She crept out and made a run for the bush. The moment she scooted behind it the flashlight landed on the door. She scooted away out of sight as the guard walked over the the door, scratching his head before shrugging and closing it. Haruka sighed out in relief and army crawled around the corner. Two more guards were sitting together, playing cards, laughing and having a good time. Haruka smiled, both enjoying the sight and relieved that she could get away so easily. She crawled through the brushed past them, freezing when one stood up.

"What was that?" He cried, reaching for his flash light.

"Sit down man, it's probably just that cat again. Hey, git git!" The other shouted, clapping his hands to scare away the cat. Haruka dashed as quickly as she could, simulating a scared cat. She was lucky that they were too preoccupied to care. Haruka felt around the wall, finding what she was looking for quickly. A medium sized hole was in the brick wall that surrounded the building. Haruka had spotted it from her window a year ago and fantasized regularly of escaping through it, and now her fantasy was coming true. Though, it was a bit smaller than the plan called for, but in order to get out of here, she was willing to get a little dirty.

She grasped fist fulls of dirt, tearing it away from the ground desperately. It was a good thing that it was raining today, otherwise the ground would be too dry and hard to dig through. But the loosened soil proved to be quite useful. She tried to fit through it, testing to see how much more digging it would take. She found it hard to get out from so she backed back out and dug a bit more until she was sure it was enough and squeezed her way through. Her bag and clothes were covered in muck now, and dirt was trapped under all of her finger nails. Still, she didn't have time to clean up. She quickly made a run for it, heading as far away from the building as she could. This was it. This was her freedom. She was free!

Hooray, she's free! She made it out! And she was totally bad ass while doing so~ Like, OMG, she was all black ops agent! And what stupid guards! They really ought to hire better people! So, how do you guys think Ren will react? What will happen to Haruka? Do you guys think that she'll live a poor life, get a job, fall in love, and live a life far away from the troubles she had before? Cause she deserves it after living with that terrible man :(!
