I know. It's been a really long time since I've uploaded a chapter.

My best explanation for the lack of updates is basically...life.

Life is hard at times. Anyway, here's a new chapter.

"So, what's that all about?" Emma asked.

AJ looked up at the sky hoping for a way to get away from explaining the situation to her two friends, but nothing happened.

"Well, you know how Punk and I went out, and you guys helped me get ready?" AJ said, watching Paige and Emma nod. "When I came home, there was a letter that was sent to me by a woman telling me to stay away from Punk. It didn't stop there, the woman called me, she even attacked me, although she didn't hurt me, because a woman named Tamina stopped her. I'm just frustrated at this point. Why would she try to hurt my friends?"

Paige thought for a second and asked, "How do you know it's her?"

"Because she likes to refer to herself as my worst nightmare, but she wrote in this new letter that the first letter is 'K'. Just know that I hate that you two had to go through a traumatic experience like this, just because a woman is jealous that Punk wants to rebuild our relationship after everything that happened." AJ explained.

"Well, she can be a nightmare to deal with, but we have your back." Emma said.

"We're here for you." Paige assured.

"What if it's Kaitlyn?" Emma asked.

"What? No...she's not like that. Plus she's in Texas, so she wouldn't be able to do something like this. She's a good person. An amazing friend." AJ replied.

"I see." Paige said as she gave AJ a pout.

"Stop. All of my friends are amazing. Every single one of them." AJ assured.

Paige smiled, and raised an arm in victory.

"So. Now what?" AJ asked.

"We're going home!" Emma exclaimed.

"Okay. Goodnight, and please be careful." AJ said.

Emma and Paige put their thumbs up, to reassure AJ that they would be careful.

At AJ's house

"No! You're not gonna make me do that!" Punk said, as he talked to Colt on the phone.

"When's the last time you've gotten laid?"

"Colt, I'm not gonna talk to you about that."

"That's why you're always cranky."

"I am not cranky, it's just that you put me in a bad mood. Hold on."

"What?"

Punk put Colt on speaker, but got off the couch as he walked over to AJ, who just arrived home.

"Excuse me?! How rude. I call you and you ignore me." Colt said, pretending to be offended.

Punk chuckles and hugs AJ. "Everyone is okay?" He asked quietly.

AJ nodded, and looked at the floor.

"It's not your fault, Beautiful. I know that you would've stopped that crazy woman from burning the building if you knew she was gonna do that." Punk whispered, trying to comfort AJ.

"But all this happened because of me." AJ replied, in a soft whisper.

Punk was about to reply, but Colt started talking again.

"Fine. Ignore me, but no one will ever replace me. You hear me? No one! Not even AJ."

"He's going crazy." Punk told AJ out loud.

"I heard that!"

"Good for you." Punk replied.

"AJ, I don't know how you can find Punk attractive. He's so rude."Colt said, being overly dramatic.

"Well, Punk is an amazing guy, who cares about the people that are close to him. Plus he's so hot." AJ replied.

"Nasty."

"Jealous much?" Punk asked, amused.

"Not even close. Alright, I'l leave you two alone, bye." Colt said.

"Bye!" AJ and Punk replied at the same time, and Punk hung up.

"You want some coffee? Tea? Maybe hot chocolate?" Punk asked.

"Some hot chocolate would be nice." AJ replied with a small smile.

As Punk made the hot chocolate, AJ couldn't stop replaying the event that happened a while ago. She felt like everyone close to her was in danger, and yet she couldn't do anything about it, since she doesn't even know the woman that's making her life so complicated.

Punk walked into the living room, and handed the mug of hot chocolate to AJ and said, "Beautiful, I know that you're not in the best place right now, because of what happened but just know that I'm here to sup-"

"If you're here to support me, why didn't you go to the jewelry store?"

"AJ, I'm sorry I wasn't there, but-"

"NO! You tell me you support me and shit, and yet you're not around when I need you the most. How is that being supportive?" AJ questioned.

Punk sighed, trying not to react in a negative way.

"AJ. I wasn't there because I came to your house really tired from work. I'm sorry if this may seem like a stupid explanation, but I'm a human being, so I get tired and stressed like anyone else."

"What an excuse. Hope you're proud of that one." AJ said, sarcastically while shaking her head.

That made Punk frustrated.

"You're so stupid," AJ said, "You think I'm easy to fool? C'mon, Punk. You should know better."

"I think we need to calm down a bit, because right now there's some tension that could make us do and say things we don't mean." Punk suggested.

"No. Tell me. Are you with me because you feel guilty for what I did to myself?"

"AJ."

"ANSWER ME!" AJ shouted, starting to get tired of having her questions avoided.

When Punk didn't say anything, she felt like all this time she was being played by someone she loves.

"You lied to me. How could you? I guess breaking my heart a few months ago wasn't enough, right." AJ said, afterwards laughing like she was a crazy person.

"C'mon...I think you need some rest. You've had a stressful day." Punk said, trying to ignore the fact AJ was acting a little strange.

Punk tried to take AJ's hand, but he felt a sudden sting on his left cheek.

"You slapped me. Really AJ? What is wrong with you? Are you crazy?"

And that last question set her off.

"Get out of my house. NOW!" AJ yelled, while she held the door open so Punk could leave.

Punk started walking as he wondered what just happened with AJ. She was acting...different.

What do you think will happen next? Why do you think AJ was acting different? Is Kaitlyn the one who's making

AJ's life complicated? Who do you think the evil woman is? (Remember, her name includes the letter K.)
