Mori POV

The thunderstorm came quickly. Is it bad that iwas glad when it came? I don't know why but I loved it when Haruhi just clung to me. The thunderstorm allowed me to consule her the way I wanted to when I first saw her breakdown. I held Haruhi close to me, careful not to disturb her wounds as the thunder roared and the lighting flashed through the sky. With every clap of thunder Haruhi shuddered into me. I rubbed her shoulder and just tried to make her feel not scared, or not alone, or anything really. I just wanted to make her happy and if all I could do now was console her I was going to do it in the best possible way. I whispered in her ear that everything would be okay. I did everything I could during this storm to help her and when the storm started to calm Haruhi started to fall asleep.

I started got out the bed so she would have more space and be more comfortable. But I didn't go far. I first went to the bathroom to washup a bit and I came right back to Haruhi's room and sat in the chair right next to her bed. I stared at Haruhi, her face looked troubled but there wasn't anything I could really do to help her, I didn't even know what was wrong, because she didn't trust me or something like that.

Some time around mid-night a nurse came in to check on Haruhi.

"Sir, you really shouldn't be in here." The nurse told me.

"Yes, well I want to be here if another thunderstorm starts up, she is very frieghtened of them you know." I said in my ost host like voice.

"The whether man did not say anything about another thunderstorm." She told me.

"Yes well, the whether can be so unpredicatable, I mean just look at the butterfly affect." I said to the nurse.

"The butterfly affect?" The nurse said in a questioning voice.

"Yes, meteorologists have cme up with the idea that one butterfly flapping it's wings at the just the right moment, or wrong moment depending on how you see it, could cause a huge storm." I told her.

"I don't know if I believe that but i can see you won't be leaving her side any time soon." The nurse said as she turned to leave the room.

"The butterfly affect is a real thing, but thank you for letting me stay." I said sincerly.

"Yeah? Just remeber that this is a one time thing." She said as the door closed behind her.

I turned back to Haruhi. She started to toss and turn. I got up and gently put my hands on her shoulders hoping that woud be enpugh to stop her from moving her wounds too much. I couldn't help but notice her expression, she didn't look so troubled anymore, just sad, just so unbearably sad. When she started to stop moving around so much I sat back down and just held her hand. The rest of the night went by without anything to exciting.

At around six o'clock Haruhi's eyes fluttered opened.

"You stayed all night." She said as she rubbed her eyes.

"Of course I did." I said to her.

"Thank you." Haruhi said quietly.

"It's nothing." I said as I could feel my cheeks redden.

"HHHAAARRRUUUHHHIII! DADDY'S HERE!" Tamaki yelled as he ran through the door with the twins and Kyoya right behind him.
