Mori POV

I had been sitting there lost in thought when I suddenly heard screams coming from Haruhi's room I got up and slowly walked over, unsure if I really wanted to know what was going on. Slowly I opened the door to see Haruhi fighting the doctors, it looked like she was reaching for something that I couldn't see. I walked over to her but as I was about to grab her hand a nurse started to push me out the door.

"I'm sorry but you shouldn't be in here now." she told me.

"Look at her, do you think she wants to be in a room full of strangers?" I asked.

"Probably not, but still you shouldn't be in here." She said as she tried to push me out the door.

"I'm not leaving here, I have been waiting out there for some to tell me what's going on but I see that you people aren't making her any better. I don't think I should have to wait." I told the nurse as I pushed my way back to Haruhi.

"Sir, you can't be in here."The doctor told me.

"I don't care, I think I may be in love with this woman. And I don't think I can bear just sitting out in that cursed waiting room while she is in here, in agony." I said my voice filled with emotion.

That shut up those nurses and doctors. I took Haruhi's hand and I didn't let go. Soon she stopped fighting that invisible force and nurses and doctors started to leave and soon we were alone in the room.

"Haruhi," I whispered. "I'm sorry about everything you've gone through. I will do everything in my power to make sure you don't suffer anymore."

I stayed there for who knows how long, I just sat there looking at her this beautiful young woman who had been crushed and beaten to the point of death at her own hand. I thought about what I would do if I lost her, no. I couldn't think about that because I couldn't think of a world without her. After what just hours ago, it made me realize how close she really was to death and how badly she wanted it and how close she was to getting that wish, that wretched wish of hers.

Knock- Knock.

I looked up. "Who is it?" I called.

"It's me, Kyoya." He replied as he opened the door. " I came to talk to you about transferring her."

"Okay." I said looking at him but not letting go of Haruhi's hand.

"We should mover her before she wakes up I was thinking in about 10 minutes, if that's okay with you." Kyoya said.

"Ofcourse." I replied looking back at Haruhi.

"She will be moved in an ambulance and she will be restrained." He told me.

"Why?" I asked thinking it was unnecessary.

"After all that happened just hours ago it's for the safety of her and everyone else who will be riding in the back with her." Kyoya told me.

"Okay." I replied. "Did you find anything out about her father."

"I was able to find that he has been showing up to work and returning back to there apartment but he hasn't answered my phone calls or emails. I was able to talk to some of his co workers and they said they didn't notice anything out of the ordinary with him." Kyoya told me as he leafed through his black book.

"That's wrong of him." I said.

"Yes well, I haven't finished my research yet." He said as he closed his book.

"Keep me posted." I said.

"I will." Kyoya said as he looked at his watch. "A nurse should be here getting Haruhi ready to leave. But I don't see anyone coming."

"What needs to be done?" I asked.

"She needs to be given a general check up to make sure none of wounds are bleeding so badly that she wouldn't be able to make a car ride and there are a few other things that need to be done, restraining her and such." Kyoya told me.

"Can you get a nurse to do that then, I don't want to leave her." I told him looking down at Haruhi.

"Of course." Kyoya said as he left the room.
