Mori POV

After a nurse had come in and got her ready to leave I went and quickly paid her medical bill and when the ambulance finally arrived they moved her the ambulance bed and took her to the other hospital.

In the ambulance I sat beside her holding her hand. I looked at her and saw how she had changed, she had once been this strong independent woman. But, now she was hurt and strapped down to the bed. So much had changed but, all I really cared about was that she was alright and that she was alive. When we got the hospital the emt wheeled her out and took her to her room, I never let go of her hand.

Her room was on the third floor, the windows wouldn't open there didn't seem to be anything she could harm herself with, but it seemed like that at the other hospital.

"Mori- sempi I have to talk to you about a few things." Kyoya said to me from the door way.

I got up and followed him out to the waiting room.

"what is it?" I asked, not wanting to be away from Haruhi for too long.

"The doctors are going to start treating her tomorrow, and that means a mental evalation." Kyoya told me.

"I thought they already did that." I said.

"Yes well, they are inferior to my family's hospital and I want to make sure her diagnosis is 100% right. Of course that means you won't be able to see her for 24 hours." Kyoya told me.

"The other one didn't take as long." I replied.

"Yes and they just aren't as thorogh."Kyoya told me.

Haruhi started her evaluation right away so I was told I could not see her for the next 24 hours. So I decided it was best if I just went home caught up with my studies and came back ready to assist Haruhi in any way she needed when the 24 hours were up.

Since there was no car to take me home I walked. It took about half an hour, only 23.5 hours.

When I got home I showered that took about ten minutes but when I added in the time it took to get dressed and brush/floss my teeth it equaled about half an hour. 23 hours left.

I called mitskuni for all the work I'd missed from school. I studied the chapters I had missed and then even looked a head a bit. 20 hours left.

Time seemed to just inch by. I found it hard to concentrate on my studies because every time the picture of Haruhi covered in blood would haunt me. I looked at my watch I still had 19 hours and 57 minutes.

I decided to go out to the dogo, that could usually occupy my thoughts. When I got there Satoshi was already going through some katas. When he finished he came up to me.

"Hey where have you been?" He asked me.

"I've been at the hospital with Haruhi." I told him.

"I'm sorry bro, is she going to be okay?" He asked.

"I don't know, she's having a pretty rough time." I said trying not to mention suicide.

"What's wrong with her." He asked, suicide could no longer be avoided.

"She's been trying to kill herself." I said avoiding his eyes.

"Why aren't you with her now?" He asked.

"She's being evaluated and I cant see her for another 19 hours and 18 minutes." I said as I looked at my watch.

"Bro, you need to stop obsessing over this, why don't you tell me everything from the beginning, I'm kind of confused about all of this." Satoshi said to me.

So I went on to tell him everything I knew and how stopped her the first time she tried to kill her self and how it was my fault that she even got the chance to try again because if I had just been there I could have stopped her.

"Takashi, this isn't your fault. Haruhi made her decisions and you shouldn't feel like it's your fault. You shouldn't have to guard her 24/7." Satoshi told me.

"She doesn't have any one else." I told him.

"What about her father." He said.

"He visted her once and then just disappeared from her." I told him.

"That can't be true I mean he must have been just picking up some extra shifts to help cover medical bills" He said. I looked down unsure of whether I should tell him. "Takashi are you hiding something."

"No, but he isn't picking up extra shifts because Kyoya already checked on all of that and besides, I paid for her hospital bill." I told him looking down.

"Takashi." He said.

"What, someone had to pay for them." I said.

"Paying for her medical bills won't get her attention." He told me.

"What?!" I asked surprised.

"Paying a girls hospital bills, not the most romantic thing." He told me smirking.

"I'm not trying toi be romantic I want her to be happy and not worry about anything." I told him.

"Sure Takashi." Satoshi said as he headed back into the house.

I looked at my watch 18 hours 51 minutes. When is it appropriate to go and wait at the hospital, I can't stand it time is going by so slowly and what is Satoshi thinking, I'm not trying to woe her or anything I just want to make her life easier I walked to the entrance of the dojo took my shoes off and started to stretch. I walked to the center and starting going through a simple Kata. I got to about 20 mistakes and I wasn't even halfway through. I couldn't stop thinking about Haruhi. I decided to just call it quits and head back inside. 18 hours 43 minutes.

I took another quick shower and changed out of my doggy and decided to call Kyoya and asked if the doctors had found anything out yet.

"Hello, This is Ootari Kyoya."

"Hey Kyoya have you heard anything about Haruhi?" I asked.

"Well she has severe deppresion, but thats pretty much all the docotrs have told me. I was thinking she might have some anxiety or something though. Why do you ask?" He asked into his phone.

" I just haven't been able to stop thinking about her." I told him.

"Then sleep, you have been sleep deprived lately." He told me.

"I can't sleep, I've tried but whenever I think about Haruhi , which is always, I get really anxious." I told him.

"Then take some benedryl, that should help you sleep. Is that all?" He asked.

"No, I also wanted to know if you found any new information on Ranka." I told him.

"I wasn't able to find anything but I haven't given up. He seems to go about his life as if Haruhi never existed he just goes to work, comes home eats sleeps and goes to work. I'm sorry but I will figure this all out, now I have to go, I'll update you when I get any new information. Bye." Kyoya said and then hung up.

18 hours 9 minutes.

I took Kyoya's advice, I took 2 benedryls and quickly fell into a dreamless sleep.

When I woke up I was still tired I looked at my watch 4 hours 49 minutes. I couldn't believe I had really slept that long but I was extremly tired last night. I got up and tried to take my time getting ready I picked out my clothes then I washed my face flossed and brushed my teeth and then changed. 4 hours 35 minutes.

I decided to just walk to the hospital again, it would kill time and I could use the exersize.

3 hours.

I arrived at the hospital and all I could do was wait.
