I mulled over what Kyoya said as I walked back into Haruhi's room. She wouldn't want us to keep this from her, but I couldn't stand myself if this pushed her deeper into the hole she's already stuck in. She will find out sooner or later, but would later be better for her? I was thinking about this until I saw Haruhi stir.

"Haruhi, are you awake?" I asked softly.

She didn't answer, but I could tell by her shallow breaths that she was indeed awake.

"I have to tell you something important, and I don't want you to worry about it, but you should know what's going on." I said.

"What is it?" She asked slowly looking at me.

"It's about your father." I said slowly.

"What about him?" She asked worriedly.

"It seems that he has tried to erase every trace of you away from his life." I said softly reaching for her hand.

"What do you mean?" She asked confused. "He wouldn't forget me."

"I'm sorry Haruhi, but that does seem to be the case." I said.

"No, He just transferred me to this hospital, he couldn't have forgotten." She said mostly to herself.

"Don't worry about this, me and Kyoya are taking care of everything for you, and we are working on getting help for your father." I reassured her.

"He did transfer me right?" She asked.

"No, that was me and Kyoya." I replied.

"I don't want your help." She said as she pulled her hand from mine.

"What do you mean, I thought you wanted to get better." I said.

"No, I don't want to owe you anything, I can't. Besides why would you care about me. You should leave." She said looking away from me.

"What do you mean, I thought I already explained this to you, I am here for you no matter what, and so is Kyoya, we are your friends, this is what friends do." I told her.

"No, friends don't may that sort of decision for each other." Haruhi said.

"I'm trying to do everything I can for, what do you want me to do?" I asked.

"I want you gone." She told me.

"I can't do that." I said giving her a pained look.

"That's really all I want, some solitude." She said.

"You shouldn't go through this alone." I said.

"Please leave." She said.

"Haruhi," I begged.

"Please." She said on the verge of tears.

I slowly got out of my chair, my eye on her. She didn't look at me, just at the wall. I slowly left the room and sat in one of the waiting room chairs. I didn't think that's how she would react, I didn't know how she would, but not that way. Mitskuni and Kyoya were no where to be seen. I hunched over my knees and tears slowly started to fall. She can't be alone, who knows what will happen if she gets her hand on something sharp, I can't lose her.
