My Grandma's being mean, she has threatened to tear down this computer, and the desk along with it. It wouldn't be the first time, but somehow this time it feels like she means it. So I probably won't be updating on every Sunday anymore, but I will still update once a week, I just don't know when. Okay, I do not own Yugioh, enjoy. [YUGI, YAMI, and ATEM]

Chapter 19

"Don't worry I've got you little girl." Yugi cooed to his kitten as he hung upside down.

"Yugi, don't ever do that again! Is he coming to help us, Yami?!" Atem shouted in two different directions. He was holding onto Yugi's ankle with one hand, and Yami's arm with the other.

"Yeah, and he says he's bringing a camera too!" Yami shouted back down. He had his legs wrapped around one of the bars of the balcony and was holding them all up.

"What for?!" he shouted back up.

"Well, what are cameras usually used for?" Yami asked back.

"Rock a bye Koneko, from the balcony top, when Atem picks us up, we all fall down, but don't worry I'll catch you, and you'll be safe and sound." Yugi hummed to his kitten changing the words of the song to benefit their predicament and losing the tune as well.

"Okay, Mahad and Marik here to save the day!" Mahad said coming into view of all three of them. Marik snapped a photo before helping to help them up. Once they were all up, Marik asked the question that was on both of their minds.

"So, how did that happen?"

"Atem picked me up, I lost grip of Koneko who went over the railing, so I jumped after her, Atem jumped after me, and Yami jumped after Atem, simple." Yugi said shrugging and placing Koneko on the bed. He grabbed his tray off the desk and brought it back over to the bed digging in.

"And now he's going to eat like nothing dramatic happened, wonderful." Mahad commented as Marik laughed making his way out of the room.

"Thank you for your help Mahad, you can leave now." Atem said in a strange voice that Yugi had never heard him use save for one time. It kind of made him want to slink away and hide.

"Yes, Pharaoh, I mean Atem." He quickly corrected himself rushing out. The last time Atem had used that voice he had been very angry, and under the delusion that Yugi had disobeyed him when it had only been an accident.

"Um, no harm was done because as you can see all four of us are alive and safe." Yugi said in a meek voice whilst avoiding eye contact with Atem and Yami.

"A kitten we can replace, you we cannot." Atem said harshly.

"But we're all fine. No blood, no foul." Yugi responded finding the amethyst comforter to be so much more interesting at the moment.

"You could have died!" Yami shouted. His voice was much less intimidating then the Seme Seme's.

"I guess it's a good thing you're vampires and have really fast reflexives then." Yugi muttered hoping they didn't hear him.

"So you jumped on the risk that we might catch you in time?" Atem asked his voice no louder than that of a whisper. Of course they heard him.

"Uh no, actually I didn't even think about it. I saw Koneko falling and I just jumped." Yugi responded finally looking up at them. They were both seething, Atem more than Yami though. Atem sighed looking away, before Yami gasped and took Atem's hand dragging him out.

Had Yugi missed something? He checked his mind for any barriers that he might have forgotten to take down. There weren't any. He probed towards their minds softly, and didn't find any surrounding their minds either. So, what had happened? Why didn't he hear whatever it was that made Yami gasp? Maybe…maybe the link was broken.

It's not broken, Yugi. It works just fine.

Then what did I miss?

Something that wasn't meant for your ears anyway.

Okay…

He pursed his lips before finishing his meal. Once he was done he went out into the stairwell and down the stairs to place the tray at the bottom. As he was going back up he was approached by an unknown vampire.

"Hey, human! Where're the King and Queen?" he asked rudely.

"I don't know, it's not like I keep a leash on them or anything." Yugi said shrugging.

"So they're not here?" he asked.

"Uh no, I don't think so." Yugi replied.

"Good, my master Dartz is going to be so pleased when I come back with you." He said stalking towards him.

ATEM! YA- he was unable to finish his thought as the vampire smacked him over the head, before he could scramble away from him, knocking him out.

[Time skip]

Wake up. He had to wake up. Now wasn't the time for sleeping. Something important. There was something important he had to say, had to fight. He was back, he had to tell them. Where he was, who had him, who was back, he had to tell them. He needed to tell them. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up!

"He's coming around." Isis's voice said softly.

"Oh, thank Ra!" Yami's voice exclaimed.

"It just doesn't make sense, why would anyone go after him after what happened to the last four that tried?" Atem asked from further away.

"Yugi should know." Yami said quietly as a hand grasped his squeezing it. He opened his eyes, searching for a familiar face. Yami was kneeling by the bed looking anxious.

"Dartz." He managed to gasp out before passing out again.

He told them. They knew. He was safe.

[Time skip]

When he woke up next he was in his room, but he was alone. Sitting up caused him to become dizzy quickly, and he fell back against the pillows. He closed his eyes against the headache that was forming somewhere in the depths of his mind.

"Yugi?" a voice asked quietly. He opened his eyes to see Seth there. It wasn't the vampire that he wanted though.

"Where are they?" he asked his voice barely rising over a whisper.

"They went…hunting." Seth said hesitating.

"Now?" he asked frowning slightly, his eyes closing once more.

"It was prudent that they leave immediately." Seth said like he was choosing his words carefully. Yugi groaned re-opening his eyes and attempting to get up.

"No, no, stay down, you should be really weak in any case." Seth said pushing him back down.

"Why?" Yugi asked.

"They drank from you before they left. You gave them quite a scare too, when you barely even twitched." Seth said sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Seth?" Yugi asked.

"Yes?" he asked in return.

"I need to go to the bathroom." He said his voice a whisper while his face was coated with a light pink color. Like that of cotton candy.

"Oh, um, okay." Seth said nervously pulling back the covers and lifting him from the bed. He walked him into the bathroom and helped him to lean against the sink before leaving. His instincts were screaming in protest the entire time, but all it took was a simple shut up to silence them. It was like a snap of the fingers and just like that, they were gone.

Yugi relieved himself before trying to get back to bed by himself. That was an obvious mistake as he pushed away from the sink and made a grab for the door handle, only to fall flat on his face. Adding onto the fact that Seth hit his head with the door as he opened it, several times since he couldn't figure out the first two why it wasn't opening, Yugi was in a world of pain all his own. Poor Seth was in a panic as he couldn't leave Yugi here alone, he had been given very specific orders not to. He knew he needed Isis, but had no way of getting her.

Seth suddenly shot up and out the door. Yugi heard nothing but the whispering wind coming in from the balcony's open doors. Its cool breeze caressed over his heated face, cooling it for a fraction of a second. Yugi closed his eyes and just enjoyed the small comfort amidst the ongoing pain he was feeling.

"Ha there, I did not leave the stairwell, so I did not leave the tower." Seth said victoriously as he re-entered the bedroom.

"How are Kaiba and Jou?" Yugi asked.

"Kaiba's ignoring Jou, which suits him just fine considering he's doing the same." Seth replied.

"And yourself? How are you doing with them?" Yugi asked opening his eyes to stare at the man.

"We…aren't on speaking terms at the moment. We've all agreed that we need some space and time away from one another. How did you three do it?" Seth sighed sitting on the bed before looking at him. Yugi closed his eyes before shifting slightly. When he re-opened them it was up at the amethyst canopy.

"It was simple, Atem is Seme Seme, Yami is Seme Uke, and I am Uke. Your problem is that you're Seme Seme, but so is Kaiba, and you're both fighting over the same Uke. Added on that Kaiba is a werewolf and territorial by nature, he's going to be fighting your inclusion more than Jou is." Yugi explained softly.

"I never thought of it like that." Seth said quietly.

"Alright, what is it? Why do you need me?" Isis asked coming into the room.

"I might have hit your patient once or twice in the head with a door." He said reluctantly.

"You might have done what to my patient?" Isis asked in disbelief.

"Please don't make me say it again." Seth begged.

"Fine, move. Better yet, go stand guard." She ordered.

"Yes, ma'am." He responded getting up and going out.

"Look at me, Yugi." Isis said softly. He turned his head in her direction and she shined a light into his eyes before placing her hand on his forehead.

"Well, he didn't do any more damage to your delicate state, which is good." Isis said taking her hand away from his forehead.

"Can I go to school tomorrow, Isis?" he asked.

"No." she said smiling.

"Then can you send one of my buffoon's of a mate so I don't miss any work?" Yugi asked.

"Absolutely." She responded her smile growing as angered voices started to make their selves known as they travelled through the palace.

"…hunting all night and halfway through the day. He's probably long gone!"

"Coward probably took off when his subordinate didn't come back after an allotted number of hours." Marik responded back to whoever was talking first.

"This is infuriating! He's again on our land and once again he slips through our grasp!" Yami shouted.

"Look we're taking just a small break and then checking a few more spots before we call this hunt a folly, and give up, okay?" Atem asked angrily.

"Isis, can you ask them to talk quieter please? They're destroying my peace and quiet." Yugi asked looking up at her with a slight pout.

"Of course I can." She said smiling before making her way towards the door.

"Seth! What are you doing out here?! I thought I specifically told you-!" Atem started to roar before he was interrupted by a scarier voice, Isis's.

"Listen up you lot! My patient is trying to enjoy some peace and quiet, which he can't because some people are yelling. Now either zip it, talk in whispers, or leave. I don't care which choice you choose, but I will not tolerate your disturbance any longer!" Isis's voice roared effectively drowning out Atem's. From his position he saw Seth point at Isis and mouth 'that's why'.

"He's awake? Like awake awake?" Yami's voice asked frantically.

"Yes." Isis said nodding.

His mates were there, standing before him, covered from head to foot in mud, literally. They looked like they had taken a swim or something in a mud pit. Still, they were his mates. Using what little strength he had, he stood up on the bed and jumped into their arms. They caught him, and held him close. He felt drops of water hit both sides of his neck, but he didn't mind, he just let them cry.

"I promise to never jump off another balcony without permission again." Yugi whispered into their shoulders.

"Oh, Yugi, we hardly care about that anymore." Atem whispered kissing his neck. He felt them shift slightly and take a step forward.

"Don't you dare sit on the bed." he said quickly.

"Why not?" Atem asked.

"You'll get it all messy." He whined slightly. He heard one of them snort.

"Fine." Yami murmured and they slumped to the ground.

"Happy?" he asked.

"Very, but I might have to take a bath after this." Yugi said looking down at his mud covered self. Atem chuckled pulling his head closer for a kiss that lasted about five seconds before Yugi pulled away. He made disgusted sounds as he tried to get the dirt out of his mouth by not touching his mouth with his hands, since they were dirty too.

"What's wrong?" Atem asked raising an eyebrow at his display.

"You're dirty, and now I have dirt in my mouth, gross." Yugi said still trying to get it out.

"Have you eaten anything yet, dear?" Yami asked nuzzling the flesh under his chin slightly.

"No." Yugi replied.

"Seth-!" Atem said like he was about to lay a rant upon the man.

"You gave him specific orders not to leave this room." Yugi reminded.

"Oh yeah, go get some food." He finished though Yugi knew that that hadn't been the original ending of his started sentence.

"Yes my King." He said scampering off quickly.

"Okay, who's taking over for Seth?" Yami asked.

"I will." Mahad said stepping forward and just as dirty as his mates.

"Where did you guys go? A swamp? A bog? A sinking pit of mud? Mahad, go wash yourself immediately." Yugi asked before ordering the man around.

"Pretty close." Yami whispered in his ear.

"No, why should I?" Mahad asked back crossing arms.

"Because I told you to." Yugi said glaring up at the man.

"Okay." He said before slinking into the bathroom and shutting the door.

"How's he doing?" Sakura's voice asked from the doorway. Yugi's jaw dropped.

"Did you join them in the mud bath?" Yugi asked looking her up and down. She was dirtier than both of his mates put together. The mud looked like it was caked onto her well being.

"Yes, it's very good for the skin." Sakura responded smirking while rubbing her cheek and coming into the room.

"I have the food! Oh, what's Maria doing here?" Seth asked handing Yugi his bowl of soup which he started to eat greedily, only just now realizing how hungry he was.

"Because I'm good at what I do." She said moving her head from side to side like a serpents.

"We invited her on our hunt, since she's valuable to have around." Atem responded more helpfully.

"Some value, she clearly hasn't helped you find him." Seth sneered.

"Actually, we killed her target, and when we told her why, she volunteered to help us track ours." Atem said frowning slightly.

"Atem, why do I always get sleepy after eating this soup? I've blamed it on blood loss before, but now…I wasn't tired before I ate it." Yugi asked setting the bowl on the ground.

"Because there is something in it that starts the blood reproduction process and it can only do that if you're not conscious. Besides, you've had it before, remember?" He said kissing his brow. Yugi frowned, as he tried to remember when he had had it before, besides it being in the soup. Then it hit him, the night before the second feeding.

"You look tired Yugi; I think you should go to bed." Atem commented in a very smug way.

"Grandpa, I think they added more than one drug to my food." Yugi said placing his elbow on the table and resting his head against it.

"They did, but Atem assured me it was for the best. I still don't agree with his methods though." Grandpa said forlornly.

"If you two are trying to get me to trust you, you're going the wrong way about it." Yugi said pointing in their direction and almost falling out of his chair.

"Oh yeah, but I can't go to bed like this, I'm all dirty." Yugi complained.

"Do you want to take a bath with us?" Yami asked.

"Okay, tell me where the nearest bathroom is so I can go puke." Sakura said her hands over her ears.

"Take two floors down, make a left and keep walking until you come to a winding staircase, go down that and turn into the first door on the left and you'll be-." Seth started to give her directions.

"In a dungeon cell room."Yami finished.

"So instead, go down one floor, make a right, and head down to the end of the hallway, on your right there should be a double door, open it, and inside that room you'll find a room that you can puke in." Atem told her.

"Thank you." She said graciously nodding her head at him. She then turned and left.

"Do you really need to leave?" Yugi asked drawing attention back to him.

"Yes, we do." Yami said nodding.

"But what if it's a trick? What if he's trying to draw you out again? Obviously I have a problem of attracting vampires to me, but I don't think you should leave me here alone either." Yugi said fighting his heavy eyelids.

"But we're not, Mahad is staying with you." Yami said confused.

"Like I said, you shouldn't leave me alone." Yugi repeated.

"Do you really find him so incompetent?" Yami asked laughing slightly.

"Well, he did fall asleep the last time he was babysitting me." Yugi pointed out.

"Really? Because we were under the impression that he wandered off, leaving you to go and search for him." Atem said smiling slightly.

"Ah right. Yeah, th-that's what happened." Yugi quickly amended.

"You are such a liar." Atem whispered his voice dripping with amusement.

"Alright, bathroom's free, who's next?" Mahad asked coming out in the same clothes that he went in there with on.

"Mahad?"

"Yes, Prince?"

"Go to your room, wash, change clothes, and come back." Yugi ordered softly.

"But I-" he started to protest.

"Go." Yugi pointed.

Mahad left grumbling about bossy humans under his breath. Atem got up and went into the bathroom, only to come back out and leave. He came back a moment later with two servants and told them to clean the bathroom.

"You should ask, it's nicer." Yugi told him as he sat back down.

"Hmm." He hummed rubbing his thumb against Yugi's bottom lip. He dropped his hand and leaned in towards him. Yugi clapped a hand over his mouth.

"No, you're still dirty." Yugi complained as Atem kissed his palm.

"Go to sleep, Yugi, you know you want to." He said removing his hand and kissing his brow again.

"Yeah, but you guys will disappear again." Yugi said back allowing his eyes to slip close.

"We should be back before you're up again." Yami said squeezing his shoulders slightly.

"It's all clean my Lord, is there anything else you'll be needing this evening?" one of the servants asked.

"Yes, escort that vampire out." Yami said pointing at Seth who looked affronted.

"Yes, my Lord. If you could follow me this way my Lord?" she said bowing before addressing Seth. Seth shrugged and left with her, the other servant following behind them.

Once they were all gone, Yami picked him up and carried him into the bathroom. They stripped him and then themselves of clothing, before drawing up some water for a bath. Atem splashed his own face with the water, before forcefully kissing Yugi in Yami's arms. He struggled slightly before giving up and just melting into the kiss as Atem slipped his tongue into his mouth.

"Would you like to hold him, Atem?" Yami asked in a slightly annoyed tone.

Oh no, you're doing a wonderful job.

Can we move this party into the water then?

Sure.

Atem started to walk backwards, keeping his face glued to Yugi's, as a result he tripped on the edge of the tub falling backwards and by consequence pulling Yami and Yugi in with him. The three of them created a tremendous wave that spilled over the edge of the tub. Half of the floor was swamped in a puddle of water. Yugi tsked at it, shaking his head.

"Oh knock it off." Yami said drawing him away from the edge of the tub and into a kiss. It was gentler than Atem's had been. Yugi melted into it far more easily.

Wouldn't you rather stay here with me, Yami? Yugi asked reaching down to stroke his cock. Yami broke away from the kiss and pinned Yugi's hands to his sides.

"What's wrong, Yami?" Atem asked raising an eyebrow at him.

"He's playing dirty." Yami complained.

"How so?" Atem asked raising both eyebrows.

He stroked me.

Yugi that's hardly fair, especially when you know we want some from you.

Nothings fair when it comes to you two. Yugi responded nuzzling Yami's neck.

Go to sleep, Beautiful.

Like that.

Yugi's eyes drooped, and even though he tried to keep them open like he had been all this time, the effort had finally taken its toll on him. Yugi drooped against Yami, leaning on him for support. His last conscious feeling was his head hitting Yami's shoulder.

[Time skip]

Yugi woke up to muffled voices. No not muffled, whispering in low tones. He focused in on them, hoping no would realize that he was awake and listening in on them.

"So close, we're so close."

"That may be, but we do not travel into that part of Japan. It's too dangerous, that place is sky high full of rogues. Not even you could handle the amount that lives there. It would be suicide to venture further."

"Don't you see that's why he's hiding here, because he knows that's where you'd never go." Sakura, that was Sakura's voice, responded.

"And for good reason. They'd over power us with sheer numbers, we have to wait until he comes out again, it's our only way of catching him." Atem said back.

"I hate waiting." Sakura grumbled.

"We know, we noticed it today." Yami sighed.

"Remember though, this is our little secret. What happened in Russia was nothing more than a leak of information. Headquarters told me that if they found out I was working with vampires again without a proper assignment from them, they'd kill me for turning rogue against the Organization. So mum is the word on this understand?" Sakura explained passionately.

"Yeah we got it." Yami responded.

"Okay, I better get back to Grandpa, or else he's going to be up all night worrying about me. Bye!" Sakura said her footsteps walking across the floor, a door opened and shut.

"Should we really be working with her?" Yami asked.

"She found his hiding spot, Yami. That's more than we've ever gotten done concerning Dartz. I say we use her for all she's worth." Atem said back.

"Then what?" Yami asked.

"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it." Atem responded. Yugi supposed he should make it known now that he was awake before they discovered it themselves.

"'Tem? 'Ami?" Yugi called out into the darkness rubbing one of his eyes.

"Oh, did we wake you?" Yami asked.

"What bridge are we crossing?" Yugi asked yawning.

"None, Yugi. Go back to sleep." Atem said chuckling. Yugi yawned and did just that, but his dreams weren't his own.

Atem sat in a thrown, tapping his fingers against the arm rest as gift after gift passed in front of him. He accepted them with a simple wave of his hand. He looked bored out of his mind. The last gift that was presented to him was one Yugi recognized as Yami, only a much younger version of him, shorter too. The Pharaoh sat up in his chair, finally showing real interest. He motioned to a guard to tilt his head up. Atem licked his lips as he waited to see the face of the boy in front of him. Yami's face was lifted up and Atem gasped standing up from his throne.

"What is the meaning of this?" he demanded.

"We heard you liked young pretty boys, and he is the finest one we have." a woman said.

"What is his age?" Atem asked.

"Ten years, Pharaoh." The woman responded.

"Yes, I do like young pretty boys, but he is no more than a child!" he shouted.

"If we have insulted you, we will take him back and you shall never see him again, you have my word." The woman said.

Atem sighed looking down at the boy at the edge of the steps leading up to his throne. He walked down the steps, motioning the guard away as he did so. He kneeled in front of the child in front of him. He grasped his chin, and forced his head up again, but you still couldn't see Yami's eyes as he was looking down, avoiding eye contact.

"Look at me." he ordered softly.

"It is forbidden." Yami whispered back.

"Look at me, child." Atem said again his voice harder.

Yami's eyes snapped up to his, and Atem released his chin. He stared into Yami's red violet eyes, before standing back up. He circled Yami, like a hawk does its prey. Yami's head fell back down to look at the floor. Atem finally seemed to come to a decision as he turned to the woman.

"No, I shall keep him. Though he has no use in my harem, being so young, I find myself in need of a new personal servant, so he will serve there." Atem announced to the woman who nodded.

"But the only thing I'm good for is sex." Yami said in a confused voice.

Atem looked down at him. A guard approached taking out a whip in the process. Atem noticed him as well and held up a hand, making Yugi sigh in relief, and the guard returned to his station. Atem bent down and lifted his head again.

"What's your name, child?" he asked kindly.

"Y-y-yami." He said reluctantly.

"Yami, you are much too young for sex. Now, who told you that?" he said and then asked still using that same tone. Yami pressed his lips together but his eyes gave him away as the flicked over to the woman and away again.

"You may leave Princess Sinitra. Tell your Father I accept all his gifts with much gratitude, and if your small country is to go to war you have Egypt's support behind you ranks." Atem said standing up his fingertips pressed together.

"Oh, thank you, Pharaoh." She said graciously curtsying low before running out.

"Yami, get up." Atem said. Yami stood looking at the ground.

"Follow my feet, since you insist on looking at them." Atem said smirking before walking out with Yami hot on his heels.

The scene shifted. It jumped from one time period to the next. Yugi suddenly found himself standing on the watch tower above their bedrooms as Yami and Atem talked back and forth, about, what a surprise, him.

"I just don't get it. We've been following this human for three months now, and we're no closer to finding out where he lives." Atem complained.

"It shouldn't be this easy to lose a vampire, let alone two. He's a slippery one though." Yami commented hopping up onto the high part of the wall and standing on it. Yugi's jaw dropped, the hypocrites!

"We're definitely going to have to keep our eyes on him once we claim him as our food source." Atem said nodding.

"Yeah, but by then we'll have a permanent trace to his divine smell. After all, all we need is one taste and he'll never be able to get away from us again. We'll be able to track him anywhere." Yami pointed out as he hopped from one high point to the next. And they complained about him standing still and sitting. The nerve!

"Yes, that's true. I still think we're going to have our hands full though." Atem said.

"How much trouble can one human be?" Yami asked. Yugi snickered into his hand.

"I suppose." Atem reasoned.

"Wait, isn't that him?" Yami asked pointing to something in the distance. Both Yugi and Atem looked over the low part of the wall to see what he was pointing at. All Yugi could see was his Grandfather's shop and a line make its way towards it. Shoot! Atem could see a heck of a lot more, obviously, as he nodded slowly in confirmation.

"This is perfect, now all we have to do is wait for him to come out of that shop and then we can see in which direction he heads in and then we'll be that much closer to finding out where he lives." Yami said excitedly jumping down.

"Kame Game Shop, so he likes games? Figures, considering he's a game himself." Atem said out loud.

Yugi snorted, and muffled his laughter in his hand. They had just said his name, and had absolutely no clue about it. It was highly amusing to him. The scene shifted to night, and Atem and Yami were leaning against one another as they continued to watch the shop.

"This is just a guess, but I think that's where he lives." Yami said sarcastically.

"We were looking around houses and he lives above a game shop, that's just cheating." Atem complained.

"Not for me it wasn't." Yugi said. Both of their heads whipped over to him and the dream went poof.
