"Ren, where are we going now?" Haruka asked, looking out the window. Ren had quickly pulled Haruka out of the restaurant after paying for the meal, pulling her into an awaiting limo to take them to the next place. "How much are we going to do tonight?" Haruka asked, turning back to Ren.

"This is the last thing I have planed for us." Ren answered, placing his arm around her and pulling her close. She smiled and placed her head on his shoulder.

"Alright." Haruka sighed, snuggling into him.

"Don't get too comfortable, we'll be arriving soon enough." Ren chuckled, placing his lips on her forehead. She smiled up at him, giggling. "What?"

"Nothing." She giggled. Ren chuckled, wrapping his other arm around her and placing a second kiss, this time on her temple. Ren looked out the window, smiling.

"Almost there. Not too long." Ren said, excitement in his eyes.

"Can you give me a hint?" Haruka asked, curiosity getting the better of her.

"Nope~" Ren hummed, shaking his head. Haruka pouted and crossed her arms, making Ren smile again. "Don't frown, love. You'll see soon enough." Ren said, bending down and taking her lips. Haruka smiled into his lips, wrapping her arms around his neck to pull him closer. She giggled into the kiss and Ren pulled away, cupping her cheek. "I think you're making me soft."

Before Haruka could respond, the car came to a stop and the door opened, the driver ushering them out. Ren slid out first, holding out his hand to help her out. She graciously took it, making sure her shoes weren't caught on the dirt road. Haruka looked around them, surprised to find them next to a path by a forest. It was so dark out that the woods almost looked black.

"Where are we?" Haruka asked, looking around in confusion.

"Come on." Ren urged, giving her arm a light tug. He began to lead her up a slope into the woods. Although Haruka couldn't really see where they were going, Ren seemed to know the path by heart. He kept telling her to hurry up, almost childishly.

"What's with you? What are you planning?" Haruka asked, trying to keep up with his pace. "Are you bringing me here to kill me or something?"

Ren let out a bellowing laughter. "No, no, I promise you that it will be much more pleasant than that." Ren chuckled. "It's just up ahead."

"What is?"

"You'll just have to see for yourself." Haruka groaned, reaching down and taking off her shoes to walk. Ren turned to her and lead her up just a few more feet before stopping. "Welcome to my special spot." Haruka smiled, walking forward. They were on top of a hill now, looking over the town nearby, a bright city in the distance. They could see over the trees and across the land. The night sky was shining with stars, not a cloud in sight, and the half moon rose over the mountains in the distance. Haruka put her hand over her heart, a smile forcing its way on her face.

"Ren, this is... This is beautiful." Haruka whispered, looking around. "How did you find this?"

"It was a long time ago- when my mother died." Ren said, putting an arm around her waist and pulling her into his stomach. "I ran away from home and wondered for a few hours, until I found this place. I started to come here a lot, but about five years ago I couldn't really find the time anymore to come down here. I missed the view." Ren whispered, smiling at the scenery. Haruka nodded, not quite sure what to say. She leaned into him.

"I really like it here."

"Thank you. I've wanted to show you this place for a while now. I thought that tonight would be perfect." Haruka smiled at him. Ren released her and walked closer to the edge, sitting down on the ground and looking out. Haruka stared to him for a moment. He was so much different from how she originally saw him. For the longest time, she thought that he was heartless, uncaring, and maybe even unfeeling. But the man in front of her was nothing of the sort. He was kind and sweet- and not to mention very loving.

Haruka smiled, walking towards him and sitting down next to him. She looked up to the stars, watching as they twinkled in the night.

"You know," Haruka suddenly said, catching Ren's attention. "When I was a little kid, one of the gardeners at our mansion told me that the stars were actually fireflies that flew too high and became trapped in the sky."

"Really?" Ren chuckled, picturing a little Haruka.

"I can't believe I actually believed that." Haruka sighed, blushing. Ren chuckled, pulling her closer to him.

"We all fell for that kind of stuff as kids. When I was a kid, my brother told me that if I didn't eat all my vegetables, my I would be old and wrinkly when I woke up." Haruka bursted out in laughter, falling onto her back.

"Really?!" Haruka laughed, making Ren blush.

"Hey, my brother is a genius, so I assumed he knew everything." Ren frowned, huffing. Haruka sat up and hugged him, giggling into his left arm.

"I-I'm sorry, it's just that... That is really funny!" Haruka said, placing a kiss on his cheek.

"Glad you enjoyed it." Ren said sarcastically, smirking at her. Haruka settled down, closing her eyes.

Ren smiled at her, reaching out and taking her right hand into his own. He brought it closer to him, running his thumb over her wedding ring. Haruka smiled at him, watching his thumb roll over her ring. Ren stopped and pulled his body away from hers, keeping her hand in his own. She sat up and looked at him in confusion.

"Can I see the ring for a moment?" Haruka furrowed her brows together, confused. Regardless, she nodded and took off the ring, placing it in his palm.

Ren stood up and walked down the path a few feet. Haruka stood up as well, quickly moving to follow him, stopping a few feet away from him when he suddenly stopped. Ren looked at the ring in his hand, frowning at it.

"Haruka," He said, keeping his face away from her sight. "I really messed up. With you and me, I mean."

"It's fine. Everything is alright now, Ren." Haruka said, taking a step closer to him.

"But it isn't." Haruka frowned, suddenly feeling rather anxious as she wrapped her arms around her body.

"Ren?"

"I mean, I messed up our first night together- our wedding night. It should have been a wonderful experience- just the two of us, together. But I left you alone in the dark that night. I was such a terrible person." Ren's hand squeezed the ring in frustration. He turned back to her. Haruka felt a shiver go up her spine as she looked into his dark, cold eyes. He held a silent frown on his face, which was half encased by a shadow. "So I can't... I can't just say 'oh well, that's just how it is'." Ren looked down to the ground. "That was meant to be a wonderful celebration. So Haruka," Ren looked back up at her, turning his entire body to her again. "May I ask something of you?"

"O-Of course! Anything." Haruka whispered. Ren's long legs strode towards her, stopping right in front of her.

"You said you wanted to start over from the beginning. Well, so do I. Haruka," Ren suddenly ducked down, placing his right knee on the ground and looking up at her. He held the ring up to her, taking her hand in his own. "Will you re-marry me?"

"W-what?" Haruka suddenly felt dizzy, the shock making her heart flutter.

"I messed up that night. Will you let me try again- a second go?" Ren asked, looking up at her with sad, hopeful eyes. "I want to start over again- but this time, I want to do things right. Will you?"

Haruka stared at the ring in his hand as her sight became blurry, clearing up when a couple of tears ran down her cheek. Her heart was as light as a feather, yet something deep was moving around inside of it. She swallowed, her throat dry. She opened her mouth, and said:

"Yes."
