"Astro, would you explain what happened?" Mrs. Harris asked. She sat in a big chair behind her desk, while Astro sat on a small chair opposite her.
"I opened my locker and this slime burst out. Mrs. Harris it was Bruss, I'm sure of it!" Mrs. Harris held up her hand.
"Silence! You have no proof! Now who is this, Zartog?"
"It's Zoran. And she's…my new sister." He said softly.
"Another robot?" Mrs. Harris sighed angrily. "She is obviously a threat to the school. Already she has hurt a few students!"
"What! That was because Bruss was teasing her and she just wanted to protect me!"
"ENOUGH!" she yelled angrily. Astro sunk backing his chair. Suddenly Zoran burst through the door.
"Stay away from my brother!" she yelled. She took a deep breath. She screamed at Mrs. Harris. Mrs. Harris got blown off her seat.
"Zoran! No!" Astro sprung up from his seat and covered her mouth. The screaming stopped. They both looked to the principle. She forcefully stood up.
"ASTRO! DETENTION!" they got pushed out of the office.
"But-"
SLAM!
The door slammed in their faces. Astro looked at Zoran with a scowl on his face. She smiled and laughed. "You look funny when you're angry." She said.
"I AM ANGRY! Zoran, you can't go using your powers on anyone you meet!"
"But I just got them! I want to use them!"
"Not in school!" Astro grabbed her hand and pulled her along the hall. Everyone was in their classes.
"Which class are you in?"
"Mr. Mustashio's but I don't know if you're in that class too."
"We should ask the principle!" Zoran suggested.
"Zoran, that WAS the principle."
"Ohhhhhh… ha, you must be in real trouble!" Astro sighed.
"Com'on." They arrived at Mr. Mustashio's class. Astro turned to Zoran. "Now be quiet and NO POWERS." They entered the class room. Everyone looked up. Mr. Mustashio smiled.
"A new student, Astro?" he asked. Astro cleared his throat.
"Um, this is Zoran…my sister."
"How is that possible?" Henna asked.
"He found her outside his house." Ember told.
"Alright students! Please take a seat!" Mr. Mustashio said. "Zoran, you can take the seat next to Ember." Astro and Zoran took their seats. "Okay! As you all know, the movement within a source of force of kinetic or any other…" Mr. Mustashio continued the lesson.
"Psst…" Ember called from behind Astro. Astro leaned back in his seat.
"Yeah?" he whispered back.
"Roof at the end of school?"
"Alright, but if we get caught, I'm scrap metal. I already have detention with Mr. Harris."
"That's no surprise. She really hates you."
"Ember and Astro! Silence!" Mustashio ordered. Zoran put her hand up. "Yes, Zoran?"
"Does a victor angle have three sides? Do a rectangle and a triangle make a trirangle? Why do we have to learn? How long have humans had to go to school? Can we play some games? I know good games! Also how old are you? Because you look pretty old..." All the kids laughed. Astro smiled at her.
"Zoran!" he said, shaking his head. She shrugged.
"Just asking…" Mustashio heaved a sigh. Suddenly, screaming could be heard outside. All the kids ran up to the windows along the classroom wall. All their eyes widened. A HUGE robot was terrorizing the city. It had a round body and eight long legs with claws on the ends of them along with threatening razors. In the body was an opening with a chair. And in that chair, was Black. Astro recognized him from his criminal photo. "It's Black!" he said.
"Who's Black?" Kennich asked.
"Well, black is a colour-" Nick started.
"No, Black is a criminal that escaped prison a few days ago." Astro told them.
"HAHAHA!" a booming voice came from the robot, slamming its arm against a pizza building. "HERE ASTRO, ASTRO!" all the students looked to Astro. Astro looked up at Mustashio.
"Permission to leave the classroom?" he asked.
"Permission granted! Go!" Astro smiled and slid the window open.
"Astro! Can I come?"
"Not now Zoran!" Astro zoomed out the window. He boosted over to the robot arm. He built up speed, faster, faster. He hit the arm with maximum impact and the arm got slammed away with a dent in where Astro had hit. "ARE, THERE YOU ARE!" another arm came up and whacked Astro into the road.
"Ow!" Zoran jolted backwards.
"Are you okay?" Mustashio asked.
"No! Something hurt me!" Zoran wined. In Mrs. Whitley's class Cora looked up from her desk to see the battle. She gasped. "Astro!" everyone jolted up to the window and ran over to them.
Astro groaned and lifted the heavy arm off him, the razor blades spinning. He tightened his grip and the arm started to crush. Astro then flew up and lifted the BlackBott up. "AHH! YOU LITTLE-" Astro spun the robot around and around. When it was spinning mid air fast enough, Astro let go. The BlackBott flew up into the sky.
Cora smiled and the classes cheered. "WOO!" cheered Kennich.
In Astro's head he saw the warning and held out his arm as they turned into arm cannons.
Zoran gasped. "He DOES have arm cannons!" she cried. Ember looked at her. She crossed her arms. "No fair!"
Astro surged the blue orbs in the cannons and shot up to the BlackBott. There was a huge explosion of blue power. Astro covered his face and his arm cannons disappeared. The robot fell to the ground, Astro slightly moving to the side as it missed him. All the Metro City citizens cheered from the streets. Astro smiled and turned to them with a bow. The BlackBott slowly started getting up.
Cora gasped and opened the window. "ASTRO LOOK OUT!"
"Huh?" Astro turned to the bots claw surging towards him. "AHH!" he got slammed into a building.
The two girls along with four others looked at Cora. "Thanks a lot! You distracted him!" they accused.
"What? I warned him!"
The claw wrapped around Astro and tightened.
Zoran started to find it hard to breath. She dropped to her knees on the ground, her hands on her throat. They all looked towards her.
Astro moaned and lost his breath aswell. Two other arms came up, the razors spinning wildly. They edged closer and closer to Astro's neck.
"Are you okay Zoran?" Henna asked. Zoran's face turned angry. She took the last bit of breath she had left in. She sucked it all up and leaned her head back. Then, she screamed. And boy did she scream. The sonic sound waves hit the windows and smashed them. The waves then traveled down to the BlackBott and hit it on the side. It got knocked to the side and the arm released Astro. He fell to the ground. Another sound wave hit the robot. "AHH! STOP IT!" Black ordered from inside the robot. Astro looked up. "Zoran?" he said to himself. Zoran then ran out of breath and gasped in air. Astro quickly flew up to the school building while Black was distracted. Astro hovered outside the window. "Zoran? Did you do that?" he yelled in. Zoran looked up.
"I'm in trouble, aren't I?" she asked. Astro smiled.
"No! In fact, I need you!" Zoran gasped and smiled up at him.
"Really?" Astro landed in the classroom.
"Absolutely."
"But how?"
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but...you have to scream. Scream like you never have before!" Zoran laughed. Astro picked her up and zoomed out of the classroom, holding Zoran under the stomach. She waved her arms around. "WHOA! THIS IS SO COOL!" the BlackBott saw them and slashed its arm towards them. "AHHH!" Astro swerved to the right and dodged it. "SCREAM! NOW!"
"Only if you promise to let me have arm cannons."
"ZORAN!"
"Oh, fine!" Zoran took a deep breath. She screamed at the robot. The bot got blown back, but it resisted more and tried to move towards Astro and Zoran but got tipped over. Black grunted. Zoran ran out of breath and stopped screaming. Astro looked at her. "Sorry!" she gasped.
"It won't be enough to destroy him." Astro realized.
Cora thought for awhile. She suddenly had an idea. "ASTRO! ZORAN!" she called. They looked towards her. "This ought to be good…" one of the girls mumbled.
"USE YOUR POWERS TOGETHER! ZORANS SONIC SCREAM AND YOUR ARM CANNON!"
Astro looked down at Zoran. "IT'S A LONG SHOT…" he called back. The BlackBott got up and furiously rampaged towards them. "-THEN AGAIN A CHANCE IS WORTH TAKING!" he zoomed over to the top of a building and put Zoran down, the bot picking up speed. "Zoran! When I say now, use your sonic scream, okay?" she nodded. They faced the BlackBott, coming closer, closer, closer…Astro shot out his arm cannon. "NOW!" Zoran took a deep breath. As Astro shot his cannon, Zoran screamed. The sound waves moved with the plasma bolt, expanding it and making it stronger. Soon it turned into a blue tornado, spinning disastrously. Astro zoomed into action as the tornado got faster, soaring towards Black. "ASTRO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Ember called from the classroom. Cora smiled.
"He gonna save Black." Black halted his robot as he saw the hit coming for him. "Oh dang…"
The tornado hit the BlackBott; exploding. Pieces of metal arms and razors landed everywhere, and the tornado faded and disappeared.
Zorn gasped. Cora gasped. Everyone gasped. Suddenly, out of a smoke cloud, Astro flew out of the fray.
In the classrooms all the kids cheered. Astro landed next to Zoran. She looked at him. "Black?" Astro shook his head.
"I tried."
"YOU GUYS ARE SO COOL!" Conner yelled out. Astro and Zoran laughed and turned to the school building, punching their fists in the air. "I get arm cannons now, right?" Astro shook his head and laughed.
"Oh Zoran!"
In an old surface hotel Stone was staying in, he looked up at the T.V and saw the news flash of the battle with Astro and Black. He smiled. "Black's out of the game." He said to himself. "Now it's just you and me, Hamegg!"
