The shuttle zoomed through the air, its CySnake sensor constantly scanning but picking up nothing.

Nya sat in the pilot's seat, looking straight forward. Her cheeks were pink, but she pretended she wasn't affected. Jay, on the other hand, had long since given in to the blush. Unapologetically smitten, he stared intently at the female samurai.

"Your face is still red," Kai noted, looking at Jay. "You might want to hit it with your hammer again."

Jay giggled. "Nah. That's not blunt force trauma or anything. It's just the honeyglow in my cheeks."

"Honeyglow, huh? Oh well." Kai shrugged carelessly and turned away, bored again.

Jay leaned forward, trying to get closer to Nya. "Hey, ma'am? Nya?"

"Yeah, short stuff?" Nya remarked, valiantly trying (and failing) not to look at him.

"I just gotta say," Jay began. He took a deep breath and grinned. "You're one dynamite gal."

Outwardly, Nya froze. But inwardly, she tumbled back through her memories, struck off-guard by the compliment.

She was at the weapon range, striking the dead center of target after target with her knives

The man in the cubicle next to her turned, impressed. He grinned. "Wow. You are one dynamite gal."

She smiled and shyly tucked her hair back with a dagger.

From then on, it wasn't 'she' and 'he', 'Nya' and 'Jole'. It was 'they'.

They were playing an intense card game, and Jole laughed as Nya thoroughly trounced him once again. "One dynamite gal.

They were at the movies, and Jole applauded Nya's rant about the poor characterization and badly-choreographed fight scenes. "Dynamite gal."

They were on the field after a rough battle, and Jole was on one knee with a battered ring in his hand, smiling up at Nya. "Dynamite gal."

They were at the church, and Jole was valiantly trying not to cry at the sight of Nya in her white dress and veil. "Dynamite gal."

Then the glass window shattered and a CySnake burst in, promptly swallowing Jole in one piece.

Nya screamed and pulled out her daggers, tears streaming down her face as she fought.

"Nya? Sis, you okay?"

Shaking her head, Nya snapped back to reality and was surprised to find she was crying. Kai and Jay were looking at her with great concern.

She yanked the wheel and turned the ship hard downwards. Jay went tumbling back from the force of the turn, Kai was barely able to hang onto his seat.

Nya landed the ship in the woods by Candy's castle. Popping the glass roof, she buried her face in her hands.

"Ma'am? Miss Nya? Is there anything I can do?" Jay asked worriedly.

Through clenched teeth, Nya stated quietly "Get. Out."

"All I said is you're a dynamite gal!" Jay protested, then shrunk back when Nya flinched at the words.

"She said get out," Kai barked, almost biting off the words, "so GET OUT!"

Forlornly, Jay climbed out of the ship. He turned back to say something else, anything, maybe even apologize, but the glass clamped back down immediately and the ship lifted off. He was left all alone.

"Oh my," Jay said sadly. "Was- was it something I said?"

Looking around, he saw nothing but wilderness nearby. Off in the distance, he could just make out the shape of a large building. So he set off towards it.

It took Jay a while to reach the building, which turned out to be a huge castle. He barely hesitated as he walked right up to the doors and knocked firmly. When nobody responded, he knocked again, harder this time.

After a second, Sour Samukai slowly opened the door. He peered up at Jay grumpily. "What do you want?"

"I'm Fix-it Jay, Junior, sir, from the game Fix-it Jay Junior," Jay explained politely. "Have you seen my friend? Big, strong, goes by Cole?"

Samukai automatically began to shake his head and close the door, but the last words caught his attention. "Crush-it Cole?"

"Yes! Yes, that's him!" Jay said excitedly, bouncing up and down.

Samukai slowly begin backing away into the castle. "Should've locked him up when we had the chance."

"Locked him up?" Jay echoed, puzzled. He took a step forward. "What do you mean, locked him up?"

"Not making the same mistake with you," the candy continued under his breath. Before Jay could react, Samukai grabbed a handle just inside the door and pulled.

A trap door opened under Jay's feet and he fell in, screaming as he went.
