Not much time, got up really late. I do not own Yugioh, Sweet Sacrifice by Evanescence or Alive by Meatloaf, enjoy! Short lemon alert. [YUGI, YAMI, and ATEM]

Chapter 26

"No. No, he can't have them. They're mine, and he won't take them from me." Yugi said in a surprisingly calm voice before stomping up the stairs and slamming the door to his bedroom.

"Well, he took that better than I thought he would." Yugi heard Grandpa say from downstairs.

"That was taking it well? And why exactly were you worried about him not taking his cousin, Heba was it, coming over for Christmas well?" Atem asked.

"He hasn't told you has he?" Grandpa sighed.

"Yugi hasn't told us a lot of things." Yami replied.

"Yeah, well with Heba, it's different. They don't get along, never have. You see, anything Yugi seems to have a very strong attachment to, Heba will take from him. Whether it be a toy, game, movie, friend, it doesn't matter, Heba will take it and destroy it. See where the concern is coming from now?" Grandpa explained.

"And he thinks, that-wait friend?" Yami cut off his own question to ask another.

"Well, he tried on that one, but Rebecca just scoffed at Heba, grabbed Yugi's hand, and dragged him off." Grandpa said and Yugi could almost see him shrugging his shoulders as if it was no big deal.

"Yeah, well, no one's taking us from our mate. Besides, his scent is locked in our systems; we'd be able to tell the difference just by scent alone." Atem said as Yugi heard them both coming up the stairs. He quickly scrambled away from the door and dove onto his bed, acting as if he had been staring at out the skylight the entire time, just as the door opened.

"Yugi." Yami said quietly.

"I don't like him. He's mean and rude." Yugi defended immediately.

"I think you're just going to have to put up with it, Dear." Yami said gently as he lay down on one side of him.

"Yugi? Oh, Kami, you are home!" Sakura said poking her head through the door.

"Go away, Sakura." Atem hissed at her.

"No! I live here, if you don't want to see me, then you leave." Sakura retorted.

"Shove off, Hunter." Atem said slamming the door in her face.

"Play nice you two." Yugi said while trying to look stern and not smile. He failed, epically. Atem simply locked the door.

"Yeah, like that's gonna work. I have ways of getting in there, tools for unlocking doors." Sakura said before she was heard walking off.

"And I can just re-lock the door every time you unlock it." Atem muttered leaning against said door.

"Please tell me we're staying at the Palace." Yugi said squeezing his eyes shut in desperate hope.

"Actually, we've asked your Grandpa if you could spend the Christmas holiday here, to make the transition easier for you." Yami said pulling him close and drawing Yugi's face into his chest.

"The Gods hate me." Yugi muttered into it.

"No they don't. They love you just as much as we do." Yami chuckled slightly.

"What are we doing for Christmas, anyway?" Yugi asked since the conversation was already on the table.

"Well, we were thinking about hosting a Christmas Eve ball at the Palace." Atem said.

"Do I have to wear a dress?" Yugi asked.

"It would hurt the girl's feelings if you didn't." Atem pointed out.

"I don't like wearing girl clothing!" Yugi whined.

"Think of it as our own form of revenge for making us wear those bunny costumes." Atem proposed. Yugi just groaned as he buried his face even more into Yami's chest.

"You're not allowed to have revenge for Halloween costumes." Yugi mumbled into his chest.

Click. Click.

"Hey! It took me ten minutes to get that unlocked in the first place!" Sakura yelled through the door.

"Not my problem." Atem said back.

"Play nice with my sister, Atem." Yugi said.

"This is me playing nice." Atem said moving away from the door.

"Can we go back home now, and finish what we were doing before your Grandpa's untimely interruption?" Yami asked.

"Nah, Grandpa kind of ruined the mood for it." Yugi said shaking his head.

"Fine, then let's just go back home." Atem said huffing slightly.

"Okay, can I drive?" Yugi asked.

"No." Atem said instantly.

Click. Click.

"I'm a good driver." Yugi protested as Atem moved away from the door again, and opened the skylight. He climbed through it, before reaching back down for Yugi. Yugi grasped his hand, and he was hoisted up, before Yami climbed through the skylight after him. Yami shut it, somehow re-latching it from the outside, and here he'd thought he'd been the only one who had known how to do that. They then debated on how to get down the side of the house with him. Yugi shrugged before going over to the edge and just climbing down the vines that were there.

"It's my truck, why can't I drive it?" Yugi asked as Atem and Yami jumped down next to him.

"Because we're better drivers." Yami said ruffling his hair before taking his hand and walking towards the truck. Yugi fished out his phone with the other and texted his Grandpa that they were leaving.

And from which door exactly did you exit from? ~Grandpa.

The one above my bed? ~Yugi.

Don't do it again. ~Grandpa.

Yes, Grandpa. ~Yugi.

Yugi looked up from his cell phone in time to see Yami's face lit up from laughing at something Atem had said. Yami pushed his shoulder playfully, and Atem pretended to be wounded. Yami just rolled his eyes shaking his head, as Atem appeared to be asking Yami to kiss it to make it all better. Or at least that's what Yugi assumed from the way that he was holding his shoulder out to the other man. Yami said something else, making Atem drop his act, and give him a half smile. Yugi blinked and just stood there, watching them interact with one another. He vaguely realized that they had turned towards him holding out their hands as they said something. He just stood there though, staring at them, a distant look on his face.

"Yugi!"

"Hmm?"

"Are you coming?" Atem asked a growing smile forming on his face as well as Yami's. Yugi blinked at them, only just realizing that they were indeed asking him a question, and he should probably answer, and soon.

"I'm sorry, what?" Yugi asked shaking his head.

"Are you coming?" Yami asked.

"Oh yeah, I'm coming." Yugi said flipping his phone closed and stuffing it in his pocket before grasping their hands and allowing them to lead him away.

"Geez, Yugi, what were you thinking about?" Yami asked.

"Nothing, just observing." Yugi said climbing into the cab of the truck behind Yami, and Atem climbing in behind him.

"You were observing us?" Atem asked.

"You know, this should be considered auto theft." Yugi said avoiding the question and finding, to his delight, that he could.

"Drugs worn off." Yami stated.

"Yep, pity that is." Atem agreed.

"And I disagree, because we didn't steal your truck from you, we are simply borrowing it against your will." Yami pointed out.

"Same thing." Yugi said rolling his eyes.

"So tell us more about this cousin of yours." Atem said changing the subject.

"We're nearly identical." Yugi said bluntly.

"Okay, what else?" Yami prompted.

"I don't like him." Yugi stated.

"Yeah, we got that." Atem said smiling slightly.

Hoping to end the topic, Yugi flicked on the radio, and surfed through the stations until it landed on a song that he could stand. Yugi leaned his head back against the seat as he just sat there listening to the unknown song on the radio. When it ended some hard core rock one came on, forcing Yugi to flip the station to something else. He wasn't a fan of hard core rock. He landed on a familiar song on the next station that he stopped at, and just sat there listening to its easy melody.

It's true, we're all a little insane.
But it's so clear,
Now that I'm unchained.

Fear is only in our minds,
Taking over all the time.
Fear is only in our minds
but it's taking over all the time.

You poor sweet innocent thing.
Dry your eyes and testify.
You know you live to break me.
Don't deny sweet sacrifice.

"What is it with you and these type of songs?" Yami asked reaching for the radio. Yugi smacked his hand.

"Would you stop that?" Yami asked shaking his hand.

"You should know by now not to touch." Yugi said simply.

One day
I'm gonna forget your name,
And one sweet day,
you're gonna drown in my lost pain.

Fear is only in our minds,
Taking over all the time.
Fear is only in our minds
but it's taking over all the time.

You poor sweet innocent thing.
Dry your eyes and testify.
And oh you love to hate me, don't you, honey?
I'm your sacrifice.

(I dream in darkness
I sleep to die,
Erase the silence,
Erase my life.)

Do you wonder why you hate? (Our burning ashes,
Blacken the day)
Are you still too weak to survive your mistakes? (A world of nothingness,
Blow me away.)

You poor sweet innocent thing.
Dry your eyes and testify.
You know you live to break me.
Don't deny.
Sweet sacrifice.

"So, how did this one speak to you?" Atem asked as soon as it was over.

"It didn't, it's just a good song." Yugi responded with his eyes closed.

"You're joking right?" Yami asked in disbelief.

"No, it really is a good song." Yugi said frowning.

"Were you even listening to the words?" Atem asked.

"Yes." Yugi said slowly.

"And you still think it was a good song?" Atem asked.

"Didn't you? I mean it's so emotional, you can almost feel the artist's pain as she sings it." Yugi explained.

"I suppose." Yami allowed as he pulled up to the Palace.

"You should really listen to the tone of a song before you judge it." Yugi said yawning.

"We were." Atem said.

"Then you didn't interpret it correctly." Yugi said laying his head down on Atem's lap as he opened the door to get out.

"Are you tired, Yugi?" Yami asked sounding amused. Yugi didn't respond, he was already fast asleep.

[Time skip]

Yugi sighed as he lay on the beach. He stared up at the bright blue sky, listening to the gentle sounds of the waves crashing on the beach a little ways off. Atem and Yami came to sit down by him, not saying anything, just reveling in the silence with him.

"Do you think we'll always be like this?" Yugi asked out of the blue.

"Like what?" Atem asked.

"Together, happy, and living with no regrets?" Yugi asked looking over at him.

"I sure hope so." Atem responded.

"Good." Yugi said closing his eyes.

"Yugi?" Yami asked tentatively.

"Hmm?"

"Do you love us?" he asked nervously.

"Of course, you know I do." Yugi said opening his eyes, and sitting up.

He watched as some children played in the shallow waters of the beach with a certain fondness in his eyes. They splashed one another in the water, shrieking with laughter. There were four of them, two teenagers, and two small children. One of the small children, a girl, suddenly broke away from the others and came running towards them.

"Mommy, Mommy! Look what I found in my clam! Look what I found!" she shouted launching herself into Yugi's lap. She showed him a small white pearl.

"It's beautiful, my little princess." Yugi said looking down into cherry tree brown eyes.

Yugi shot up in bed, his breathing heavy and gasping. What the hell? That child she had…but no, it was impossible. She couldn't of, because those were his Mother's eyes, and the only way for her to have those eyes and still call him Mommy, was if he…

"Yugi?" Atem asked cautiously from his side. Yugi looked down at him. No, it was impossible.

Climbing out of bed, Yugi wrapped his arms around himself, rubbing them. He made his way out onto the balcony, the cool air wrapping around him like a blanket. That child couldn't biologically be his. It was just physically impossible. He was male, he couldn't have children. Health class had taught him that much. If he wanted to have a biological child then he would have to find a female to consummate with. Otherwise, they would be adopting, there was no other way for them to have children, there just wasn't!

"Yugi, please come to bed." Yami said softly from behind him.

"That was a pretty farfetched dream huh?" Yugi asked spreading his arms out on the balcony railing and grasping its edges.

"Sure." Yami said his tone saying he half agreed with him.

"Because it's impossible right? I can't have children?" Yugi asked whipping around, his arms coming back up around himself. Yami looked down before back up at him, smiling in a reassuring way.

"Of course it is." Yami said. Yugi nodded looking away, letting out a breath of relief.

"Now come back to bed?" Yami asked holding out a hand. Yugi didn't hesitate in putting his hand in it, trusting the man in front of him.

Yami pulled him back to bed, and tucked him back in. Yugi shivered as he curled up into a ball trying to warm himself back up. He hadn't noticed just how cold it was while he was so distracted with other thoughts.

"That's what you get for going outside in the middle of the night on the coldest day of the year." Atem said.

"Just remember, if I get sick, you don't feed. Achoo!" Yugi said before sneezing.

"I think he needs a hug." Yami said wrapping his arms around his waist.

"He definitely needs a hug." Atem agreed wrapping his arms around his hips. Yugi cuddled into the two of them, enjoying the closeness before falling into another slumber.

[Time skip]

Yugi couldn't have been asleep for any longer than an hour before his alarm was going off. It was odd though, because he couldn't remember turning it back on. Must have been one of the vampire's doing. Yawning, he got up whapping the empty spot next to him to get up too. Yami was always the hardest to wake up. Not feeling any movement, he whapped it a couple more times before looking over to find it bare of a person. Looking over to the right, he saw the same thing. Scratching his head, he threw off the covers and got out of bed. Looking around, he saw a bright blue piece of paper on the door.

Yugi,

We had an emergency to attend to in Domino. STAY HERE! We'll be back later.

Love, Atem and Yami

Stay here? Stay here? He had school, and he was hungry. Pfft, it wasn't like they could actually make him stay. No, he'd leave them a note saying he was at school, that's what he was going to do. Yugi put his hand on the door handles and attempted to turn them. They didn't budge. He tried again and came up with the same effect.

Those baka vampires! They locked him in! How dare they! He was hungry! Pouting, Yugi went back to sit on his bed. Emergency in Domino his ass, they just wanted to starve him.

If you make one wrong move with the gun to your head
You'd better walk the line or you'll be left for dea-

"What?" Yugi asked.

"Hello to you too. Where are you right now?" Sakura asked in a whisper.

"Locked in my room at the Palace." Yugi said moodily.

"Is one of the vampires with you?" Sakura asked.

"No. They gave me some crap about an emergency in Domino and took off." Yugi complained.

"Good. There are at least 80 rogue vampires roaming the city right now. School has been cancelled, stay where you and wait for someone to come get you when it's safe again okay? Don't open the door for anyone you don't know, understand?" Sakura explained.

"Couldn't even if I wanted to." Yugi answered flopping back on the bed. Leave it to Sakura to tell him the truth of the situation.

"Why not?" she asked.

"They locked me in, and I'm pretty sure they didn't use a key." Yugi said in a slightly annoyed tone.

"Well good, at least they're using their brains for once. Oh, I have to go, there's a vampire nearby, stay safe." She said in so quiet of a voice Yugi barely heard her.

"You too." He whispered before he shut his phone. He flipped through his numbers and changed the song for Atem's and Yami's ring tone.

Catch any rogues yet?

Not now Yugi, we're trying to concentrate.

Fine, just let me know if you're both still alive every hour okay? I want to know if I have to avenge either one or both of you, okay?

Will do.

Oh, and by the way, I'm hungry.

Yes, we heard, several times.

Doesn't change the fact that I'm still hungry.

Please Yugi, not now.

He sighed and stopped talking through the link. Putting a jacket over his pajama top, he walked over to the balcony doors to go outside, only to find those doors locked too. Sighing again, he took off his jacket and threw it across the room. Koneko came out of her jungle gym to see what was going on and Yugi promptly picked her up and took her into the bathroom with him. Shutting the door he started a bath, and climbed inside once the water got to a certain height. With a flick of his wrist he shut the water off.

Koneko sat on the edge of the tub, her legs curled up beneath her, as she eyed the water apprehensively. She did not like water, but then again, he didn't know any cat that did. Drying off his hand on a washcloth, Yugi started to pet her. She purred at the attention she was receiving.

"What am I going to do, baby girl?" Yugi asked her. She turned questioning eyes on him.

"I-I think I'm falling for them, and hard. Quickly too. I mean just yesterday, I started to notice things about them that I had never done so before." Yugi confessed. She gave him a knowing look.

"What? You don't think I already have, do you?" Yugi asked her. She blinked slowly at him.

"Really? How can you tell? I mean I can't even tell, so how can you?" Yugi asked startled by the notion that she was projecting. Why did cats have to be so wise? She didn't do anything but turn her head away from him, as if to say that she was keeping her secrets of how she knew he had already fallen.

"Koneko." Yugi said like he was trying to get information from a stubborn child. Just then there was a knock on the door. Yugi grabbed a towel and wrapped it around his waist, before going towards the door in the room.

"Who is it?" Yugi asked.

"One of Dartz's humble…acquaintances come to collect the human named Yugi Mutou." Was his response.

Atem?

What now?

I found a rogue.

Where? You weren't supposed to leave that room! How did you get out!?

Yeah? Well the door to my room is the only thing that is standing in his way of getting in.

He's in the Palace?

No, of course not! I'm just making all of this up to get you come home.

Yugi, please, no sarcasm.

Then don't ask stupid questions.

Yami's coming, stay where you are.

Like I have a choice. He grumbled through the link.

"Are you going to let me in?" they asked.

"No, I'm afraid I wasn't given the key." Yugi said conversationally.

"Oh, that's easily undone, but where is the keyhole?" He asked.

"Search me." Yugi said shrugging.

"They used magic, that's even easier to undo." He said like he was realizing something. Yugi saw a golden light from under the doorway, but he didn't hear a resounding click, much to his relief.

"Must be a either a Royalty or Pureblood spell. Since I am neither, I will just have to go find someone that is. Do not worry small human, I will be back for you a different day." He said like he was leaving.

"Uh, don't you want to stay and try something else?" Yugi asked frantically.

"So one of your mates can tear me to shreds. No, I don't think so. They'll smell my scent in the hallway anyway, so they'll know you weren't lying. One of them is probably already halfway here, so I'll just be off now. Until next time, Yugi Mutou." He said his voice trailing off into silence.

Yugi dropped to his knees in disbelief. Yeah right, the scent would fade, and they would assume he was lying. Simple as that, Yugi thought as Koneko climbed into his lap. Tears slipped down his cheeks at the thought. Yugi sat back on his butt, his legs shifting into a cross legged position, earning him an indignant meow from Koneko who had to adjust to the new position.

It hadn't even been five minutes, before the doors gave off a resounding click, and Yugi's head snapped up in fear. Yami opened the doors and looked around the room, before looking down. He breathed in relief, before dropping to his own knees and pulling Yugi forward, wrapping his arms around him. Konkeo jumped off of Yugi's lap. Not caring to be squished between them.

I have him, Atem, he's safe. And there really was a vampire here, the hallway reeked of her.

Her?

Yeah, the vampire was a female.

She must have masked her voice.

Will you stay with me?

No, I need to help Atem. Yami said kissing his brow lovingly.

Can I get some food first, before you leave?

Of course, I'll be right back.

Yugi suddenly found himself clutching thin air. He let his hands drop to his sides. Discarding his towel, he lay naked on the bed staring up at the canopy.

Here, enough food to last you the whole day, or it should. Yami said setting the food down on the desk. He kissed Yugi on the lips, hovering over him for a second before he was gone, with the door shutting and locking again. He didn't even comment on how Yugi wasn't playing fair.

It was hard to ignore, dear, but I did manage.

Sighing, Yugi, got off the bed, and walked over to the table and grabbed some food off it, devouring the sweet morsels. He sat back on his bed, not even bothering to get dressed. There was no point, it wasn't like someone was going to walk in on him, his mates had seen to that. Koneko jumped up onto the bed, and walked over to Atem's pillow. She lied down and promptly fell asleep.

"Oh, I have you trained so well, baby girl." Yugi said laughing at her. Yugi flopped into the bed, and was almost asleep when he remembered that he had left the water in the tub. Rushing into the bathroom he pulled the plug, before going back to bed and falling asleep out of sheer boredom.

[Time skip]

"Yugi, wake up."

"Why? Are my mates back yet?" he mumbled rolling over and attempting to get back to sleep.

"Yes, they are." Yami responded.

"That's good, I'm glad they're back safe and sound. You let me know when they get upstairs, okay?" Yugi said yawning.

"And I how exactly would you like us to let you know that?" Atem asked crossing his arms.

"You're an old man in a young man's body, use your imagination." Yugi said waving him off. Atem's jaw dropped in disbelief, as Yami climbed onto the bed intent on teaching Yugi to show a little more respect to an old man.

"Old are we?" Yami asked as he turned Yugi over and slid in between his legs.

"My mates aren't going to like this when they get here." Yugi said yawning with his eyes closed.

"Believe me Yugi, if we weren't your mates, you'd definitely know it." Atem whispered.

"Of course, whatever you say." Yugi said waving him off again.

"Wake him up." Atem said.

"With pleasure. Hand me that bottle." Yami said his words having a double meaning to them. Yugi opened his eyes to tell them to shut up so he could sleep, and was presented with the devilish grins of his mates.

"Hey, when did you guys get back?" Yugi asked them. Atem dropped his head into his hand, as Yami pinched the bridge of his nose looking frustrated.

"Take him." Atem said bluntly. Yami snatched the bottle out of his hand and squirted some into his hand. Lathering up three fingers, he proceeded to place the cool wet digits at Yugi's entrance.

"What's going on?" Yugi asked looking down at him.

"We're having sex, end of discussion." Atem said.

"Okay, I'm not going to fight you on that. You're day must have been very stressful if you woke me up just for sex." Yugi said casually.

"You've no idea." Atem sighed dragging his hand down his face as Yami entered his fingers into Yugi's entrance.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Yugi asked.

"Do you want to hear all the gory details?" Atem asked.

"No." Yugi said slowly.

"Then no, we're not talking about it." Atem said.

"Is there a number?" Yugi asked curiously.

"Not for you." Atem said before he leaned down and kissed Yugi savagely. The kiss was hungry, violent, needy, and so rough. It had Yugi whining in protest as he tried to push Atem off of him. Atem just grabbed his arms and pinned them above his head, as Yugi felt Yami slip his fingers out of him. Next second, Yugi yanked his head away from Atem for a fraction of a second, gasping in much needed air, as Yami entered him swiftly. Atem barely let him take that gasp though, before he was placing his lips back over Yugi's.

Yugi tried pulling his head away again, but Atem's lips seemed to be glued to his. They stayed connected to his no matter which way he turned his head. This wasn't good. If he didn't get air soon, he was going to die of suffocation. Suffocation from making out. Oh he could hear it now. How did he die? His mate kissed him to death. He needed air, he needed it now.

He suddenly had it, great big gulps of fresh warm air penetrating his lungs, and sending signals to his brain that he wasn't going to suffocate after all. He was faintly aware of Atem hissing at something or someone. As well as the fact that Yami had stopped moving in and out of him, to which begged the question of when he had started in the first place. Yugi couldn't recall.

"Atem, we've discussed this, what are the three most important things a human needs to survive? And don't hiss at me." Yami asked and reprimanded.

"Food, air, and sex." Was his grumpy response.

"Okay, four most important things." Yami said rolling his eyes.

"Food, air, sex, and water."

"And of which were you depriving the human of?" Yami asked crossing his arms. Yugi looked away from Atem and down towards him.

"So he was lacking a little in the oxygen department. Big deal, he's breathing fine now." Atem said waving it off.

"Only because I pulled you off of him." Yami said rolling his eyes, before starting up the process of moving in and out of him again. Yugi watched him work, moaning for him, he wasn't oblivious to the fact of Atem leaning down towards him again though. Yugi grabbed a pillow and stuffed it into his face.

"Make out with that. It won't pass out or die on you due to lack of oxygen." Yugi said while Yami laughed at them and Atem threw the pillow on the ground. A minute or so later and Yami had released within him. That was quick; then again he didn't know when he had started either.

"Yes, I noticed that." Yami said kissing him gently on his swollen and bruised lips. Yami chuckled lightly at something before pulling out. Atem was in him and between his legs before he could blink twice.

"Anxious are we?" Yugi teased.

"Shut up." Atem said leaning down towards him as he waited for him to adjust.

"No." Yugi said placing a hand over Atem's mouth.

"What, I'm being banned from kissing because you lost a little oxygen?" Atem asked pushing his hand aside.

"A little? You were suffocating me with your lips." Yugi pointed out.

"Eh, I would have brought you back." Atem said waving it off. Yugi rolled his eyes as Atem started to move, eliciting a deep strong moan from him.

"So tell me Yugi, how many rounds do you want to go tonight?" Atem asked brushing a bang aside as he continued to move in and out of him.

"Once each is fine." Yugi said off handedly.

"Oh, please don't tell me we have to get your stamina back up again?" Yami asked like the thought scared him.

"No. I just don't want to do more than two rounds tonight." Yugi said his eyes closing in frustration.

"You sure, Yugi?" Atem asked.

"Yes, I'm sure, Atem. I know for a fact that both of you are just using me to release your pent up frustrations. One round each should be enough for that." Yugi said turning his head away.

"Who says?" Atem grunted as he came.

"I do." Yugi grumbled glaring at the inside of his closet. Atem sighed before pulling out, and falling onto his right side. He wrapped his arms around his chest, and pulled him close, earning a slight squeak of surprise out of Yugi.

"Yes, we're frustrated, and yes we're stressed, but if we used you to release those emotions, you wouldn't be limping tomorrow, Beautiful. You wouldn't even be walking." Atem whispered in his ear.

"Don't scare him, Lover. We weren't using you. We were simply picking up where we left off yesterday." Yami said kissing his brow tenderly.

"Oh." Yugi said looking down, feeling ashamed for his assumption.

"So, are you still sure you don't want to go some more?" Atem asked trailing a light finger down his spine.

"Yeah, I'm sure." Yugi said with a light shiver following the finger down.

"If you're worried about missing school, don't be." Yami tried assuring.

"What do you mean?" Yugi asked frowning up at him.

"School has been cancelled for the rest of the week due to this little…attack on the city." Yami explained carefully.

"No it hasn't, you're lying." Yugi said shaking his head.

"And what reason would we have to lie to you?" Atem asked.

"You do it all the time. Why should this time be any different?" Yugi asked climbing over Yami and picking up his phone off the night stand.

Yugi dialed his Grandpa's number and waited for the old man to pick up. He didn't, Sakura did. Yugi was silent for a moment, and wondered if he should hang up and try his Grandpa's cell phone. He decided against it, Sakura wasn't one to lie to him either. In fact, sometimes she was a little too honest.

"Helloooo? Is anyone there?" Sakura asked again.

"Uh, yeah, sorry Sakura. I have a question." Yugi said shaking his head and turning away from his mates who were giving him offended looks.

"Shoot!" she said sounding as if she was looking at her fingernails.

"Has school been cancelled for the rest of the week?" he asked.

"Ha! I told them that you wouldn't buy that!" Sakura said in victory.

"So it isn't closed?" Yugi asked turning back to his mates, a haughty look on his face.

"No, it is." Sakura said casually. The look slipped off his face.

"What?" he asked his mouth dropping open.

"Yeah, the school got a bit…demolished when seven vampires, two werewolves, and three hunters trapped twenty rogues in the gym and locker rooms." Sakura said grimacing.

"What?" Yugi asked his tone one of disbelief as he shot a look of 'what were you doing' at his mates.

"Heh, yeah." Sakura said laughing nervously as his mates threw up their hands as if to say 'it wasn't us'.

"Are you trying to insinuate that you were a part of that group, Maria?" Yugi asked his tone becoming sour quickly.

"Pah, ha, no." Sakura choked out.

"…" silence met her response from Yugi's end.

"So was Mahad!" Sakura defended.

"Why? Why the school? Why?" Yugi asked running a hand down his face.

"Because they ran in the back door of the gym? And it was a confined space, very easy to trap someone in." Sakura explained. Yugi groaned falling to his knees on the carpeted floor.

"What am I gonna do with you?" Yugi asked.

"Keep me of course." Sakura said smiling.

"Always." Yugi said smiling.

"And get rid of your mates." Sakura added quickly.

"Never." Yugi said sitting back on his heels as he grinned up at them rolling his eyes.

"It was worth a try. Oh I gotta go, my cell is lighting up like a Christmas tree." Sakura said before hanging up.

"Love you." Yugi whispered to the dead line.

"See, we don't always lie to you." Yami said as Yugi hung up the phone. Yugi threw him a sideways look.

"Always, being the key word there, 'Ami." Yugi said back shaking his head and climbing back over him to lie in the bed.

"Why don't you ever climb over Lover, Dear?" Yami asked in a disgruntled voice.

"Because 'Tem is bigger than you 'Ami, more effort would have to be put into the task." Yugi said grinning tapping his nose on the word bigger. Yami shook his head not seeming to like the nose tapping gesture. Yugi chuckled lightly, before laying his head down on his chest. Yugi could practically see Yami grinning at Atem over his head. His thoughts were proven correct when he was grabbed from behind and pulled against Atem's chest. Yami pulled him back towards him. When Atem went to pull him back, Yugi quickly flipped onto his back and placed his hands on their chests stopping anymore tug of war movements.

"Okay, we are not fighting over the Beautiful Dear, and if this behavior continues I will be sleeping in the Ruby room alone, thank you very much." Yugi said in a slight huff.

"Well, then there is only one way to fix this." Atem said sighing.

"You're right, it's the only way." Yami said nodding.

"What's the only way?" Yugi asked cautiously. A sudden image flashed through his mind of them getting up out of bed and leaving him all alone in it. Thinking it was theirs; Yugi quickly wrapped his arms around both of their necks, and pulled them against him, in a slightly awkward position.

"No, never again." He whined.

"Fine by us." Atem said loosening his hold and wrapping his arms around Yugi.

"This was our idea anyway. To make a sardine out of you." Yami said ducking out of Yugi's hold and wrapping his arms around him as well.

"Oh." Yugi said frowning.

"Ours." Yami whispered rubbing cheek against his hair.

"Forever and always." Atem whispered in his ear before both slowly fell asleep. Ha! And they had wanted to go more rounds, they didn't even have the energy to.

Yugi sighed, not finding sleep coming as easily to him. Carefully, Yugi worked his arms out of their holds. He glanced down at Atem to find him still asleep, sighing in relief, Yugi scooted up slightly on the pillows. He moved their heads onto his chest, being their pillow for once. He glanced down at Atem, knowing all this movement must have awoken him by now, but his eyes were still closed. Yugi blinked in surprise, wow, he must be really tired. Yugi brushed some hair out of both of their faces.

They looked so peaceful, like a bomb could go off just outside, and nothing would disturb their serene state. It was a shame they couldn't look like this when they were awake. Yugi sighed before looking up at the amethyst canopy, and starting to hum Hold me now by Red. He failed to notice crimson eyes opening slightly to stare at him. They were bleary and exhausted looking, before they closed again a small smile creeping onto the face, as they listened to Yugi hum a song they had only heard once. Yugi stopped humming, and looked back down at them.

"My gorgeous mates, what are you doing to me?" Yugi asked softly looking back up at the canopy and failing to notice two pairs of eyes opening at the question. They looked at each other before they closed again. They snuggled more into the warmth that Yugi was providing, before falling into a deeper sleep.

Yugi smiled holding them closer, before falling asleep himself. His dreams were filled with a husky voice connected to a woman's body, that was shrouded in darkness. She motioned for him to come closer, but Yugi shook his head, backing away before turning and running from her. Yugi ran into a wall in the darkness, and he stumbled back slightly. A spotlight came on, and shown down on a cradle of sorts. Yugi walked towards it, and lifted the white veil over it and tossed it aside. Inside were two babies, a boy and a girl. They were wrapped around each other. Yugi frowned looking down at them, before backing away, shaking his head.

What was wrong with him, he wasn't ready to be a parent. He was still in high school, so why was he dreaming all these dreams about kids? They couldn't be his; they had to be Atem's or Yami's. Did they really want kids that badly? Yugi sighed sitting down, before he felt a hand on his shoulder. Gulping, he looked up and behind him.

"I found you, Yugi Mutou." The woman said. Yugi opened his mouth and screamed.

"Wake up! Wake up, Yugi! WAKE UP!" Atem and Yami were saying trying to shake him awake. Yugi's eyes shot open before he clung to his Seme Seme.

"Oh." Atem said in surprise jerking down slightly.

"Well, he's awake now." Yami said running a hand through Yugi's hair.

"At least he doesn't lash out in fear after a nightmare now." Atem said propping them both into an upright position. He rubbed his back trying to calm him down.

"Yeah, that's good." Yami said nodding laying his head down on the back of Yugi's head. Yugi was muttering under his breath, so quietly that Atem and Yami had to lean in trying to discern what he was saying.

"What's he saying?" Yami asked leaning in farther.

"I don't know, I can't make it out. You're closer, you tell me." Atem said shaking his head.

"They can't get me, they can't get me, it's just a dream, just a dream." Yugi was muttering over and over again to himself trying to calm down.

"Oh, Yugi, don't torture yourself. We're here, they can't get at you." Yami said sitting back up and rubbing his arms.

"Don't leave me here alone, please." Yugi begged slightly.

"It's only two weeks. You'll be fine, you're going to be just fine." Atem whispered kissing his hair.

"But I want you to stay here with me." Yugi whined.

"We know, but we do this every year. You can understand that, right, Yugi?" Yami asked. Yugi nodded.

"Okay, so there'll be no more talk of us staying here." Yami said sternly.

"Can I go with you?" Yugi asked taking his head out of Atem's chest to look over at him.

"Or that, none of that talk either." Yami added quickly.

"So…Marik, Mahad, and Isis huh? I can't believe you're leaving Mahad to help take care of me." Yugi said in a resigned voice.

"He volunteered." Atem said simply.

"Why? He hates taking care of me." Yugi asked frowning.

"When we figure out his true motives, we'll let you know." Yami said shaking his head.

"So odd. Does he ever do things that make sense?" Yugi asked looking up Atem.

"Yes, he became my advisor when Siamun died. Best decision he's ever made, and last too." Atem said nodding.

"Why? Because you've made all his decisions for him since then?" Yugi asked with a cheeky grin.

"No, you little imp." Atem said giving him a small push. Yugi let out a loose laugh, before laying back down on the bed.

"What time is it?" Yugi asked.

"Uh, it's…5:30 am." Yami said looking over at the clock.

"Go back to sleep, Yugi. We won't be here when you awaken, we have a meeting at six, but we'll try to end it as soon as possible so we can get back to you." Atem said caressing the side of his face.

"Can't I come with?" Yugi asked looking up at them with pleading eyes.

"Okay, but you need to be quiet. No speaking, except through the mind link, during this meeting, okay?" Atem said gently with a finger pressed to his lips.

"Okay." Yugi agreed before nodding off.

Yugiohyoailove3-Sorry no, I won't make Heba into a girl, as interesting as that would be, but it would ruin what I have in mind for the story. I can't wait to write that chapter, you're all going to get a hoot out of it. We're almost at the plot twist that I think some of you have already seen coming. Still, I have a few that you won't, well maybe one will, but most of you it will be a shock for. Alright enough babble, thanks to everyone who are/have following/favorited this story. Also, thanks to everyone who reviewed Guest and User alike. Please review. Midnight ;p
