Mimiko was frozen in shock, staring at Masato with wide eyes while he looked away from her, unable to meet her eyes. Mimiko looked down at her feet before turning her head to Haruka and Ren, who stared at Masato with the same look of shock. Mimiko turned back to Masato, who was looking at her out of the corner of his eye.

"No." Mimiko whispered, Masato turning back to her. She squeezed her fists, trying to keep her emotions under control. She couldn't afford to look like an emotional, blubbering mess.

"Mim-?"

"No! T-that's not okay!" Mimiko yelled, causing Masato to flinch back. "I-I mean, I can't just forget something like that!" Masato looked down, looking rather ashamed of himself, squeezing his own fists. "I mean, why?! Why would you even say that!? I-I'm sorry about what I did, but that's n excuse to-"

"Wait!" Masato placed a hand on her shoulder, startling her. He looked at her with her eyebrows furrowed together. "What are you talking about?"

"What? Th-the kiss. What are you talking about?"

"The kiss- Wait... what do you think happened?" Mimiko looked down, her face burning red.

"I-I... I was excited and I... I accidentally... kissed... you..." Mimiko whispered, Masato's mouth practically fell open at that. Masato opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Masato opened and closed his mouth, trying to say something, but only small, abrupt noises came out.

"Ren, Haruka," Masato suddenly said, looking up at them. "Can you two leave us alone for a moment?"

"It's my house." Masato glared. "And my office." Masato turned to Haruka.

"Haruka, has anyone told you about the incident in the opera house when we were three, when Jinguji peed-"

"Haruka, honey, let's leave them to talk." Ren suddenly insisted, practically pushing her from the room.

"W-wait, what was he going to say?"

"Nothing!" When Ren and Haruka cleared the room, Masato turned back to Mimiko, his face completely red.

"U-um, Mimiko, it seems there has been a... mistake somewhere in this..." Mimiko furrowed her brows together, not understanding what he was implying. "What I mean by that is... Well... You didn't... kiss me. I kissed... you." Masato turned away from her, keeping his eyes away from her.

"W-wait... what?" Mimiko shook her , taking a step towards him. "Wh-what do you mean 'you kissed me'? I was... but you were..." Mimiko closed her eyes, trying to think back to what had happened. "But wait- your eyes were open! A-and you looked surprised! How could you have kissed me if..."

"W-well, about that..." Masato turned back to her, keeping his eyes on her mouth, unable to look her in the eyes. "I was surprised. I couldn't... Believe I had just done that." Masato admitted with a blush, rubbing the back of his neck, his eyes down casting again.

"B-but I thought you were in love with Haruka!" Masato turned back to her, surprise on his face.

"I wasn't in love with her- she simply peaked my curiosity. I didn't quite understand her, so I wanted to see what she was like. Tokiya and Ittoki might have had feelings for her, but I certainly didn't feel anything strong."

"But you did just say you liked her." Mimiko pointed out with a frown, crossing her arms. Masato blushed, looking away.

"W-well I am I man, and Nanami did have her charm."

"Wait, then what was that about forgetting what happened!" Mimiko cried.

Masato turned back to her, a more somber look on his face this time. "Well, when you disappeared from the house, I thought that you were upset about what I had done to you. I was afraid that it would ruin our relationship. I was afraid that you might quit, so I went out looking for you. I thought that if we both just forgot about what had happened, we could go back to being friends." Masato admitted, looking down in shame. "I never imagined that you simply misunderstood what had happened."

"I-I thought that it was me who had done something wrong." Mimiko admitted. "And I was afraid that you'd hate me for doing it.." Masato game her an understanding smile, nodding his head.

"I suppose we were both fools this time." Masato said, Mimiko nodding. The two of them stood awkwardly for a moment, twiddling their thumbs and looking around the room.

"Soooo..." Mimiko said, rocking on her heels. "Now what?"

"I'm... not sure.." Masato responded. Masato chuckled, shaking his head. "This is not the way I thought it would turn out."

"Yeah." Mimiko nodded. "Soooo... You kissed me?" Masato's face was colored completely red. He took a step back and turned his body around.

"W-well... yes. I did." Mimiko giggled and he turned back around, frowning at her. "What?"

"You kissed me~" Mimiko smiled. Masato turned his head away from her, running a hand through his hair. "That means you like me~" Masato did not respond, simply keeping his face away from her view. "Ne ne, Masato? Don't you want to know how I feel?" Mimiko giggled in a cute voice, pulling on the back of his kimono.

"S-sure.." Masato answered. Mimiko giggled again before throwing her arms around his neck from behind, landing a quick kiss on his cheek. Masato jumped and turned his face away from her, the red spreading down his neck now.

"Ne, Masato~" Mimiko giggled. "We should go on a date!"

"A-a date?"

"Yeah! Would you go on a date with me?"

"... S-sure."

"Yay! Ne, Haruka, did you hear that?! Masato it gonna go on a date with me!"

"Congratulation!" Haruka yelled through the door.

"You two make a cute couple!" Ren called as well.

"They were listening..." Masato mumbled, mortified. "Mimiko," Masato said, raising his voice loud enough for Haruka and Ren to clearly hear what he was saying. "Have I ever told you about the time Jinguji and I were eight and Jinguji tried to set off the sprinklers in the school-" Ren cursed loudly and ripped the door open. "-Only to find he had mistaken a security camera for a smoke detector and-"

"Bastard!" Ren yelled as he threw his hand over Masato's mouth. "You promised me you'd never tell anyone about that!"

"Well you listened in on my private conversation!" Masato hissed while struggling to get free from Ren's hold.

"Oh yeah! Well when we were 9, Hijirikawa was reported to the police for going into the men's room because they thought he was a g-" Masato, managed to free one of his arms and slapped his hand over Ren's mouth.

"Not another word from you!"

"And when we were 11-"

Haruka and Mimiko watched as the two practically wrestled, trying to cover each other's mouths, both of their faces completely red.

"I think we've both seen different sides to Masato and Ren today." Haruka said, Mimiko nodding in agreement.

"Hey, Haruka." Haruka turned to Mimiko, who smiled at her. "Thank you for everything." Haruka smiled, nodding to her.

"That's what friends are for."

AH! I can't believe it! I totally missed the update day! I'm so sorry guys! I thought that it was on Thursday, not on Tuesday! I really am sorry for that...

But enough about my failures in life- this chapter was freakin awesome! I bet you guys never saw this coming, after all, I tried my best to add in details to really make you all think it was Mimiko who kissed Masato. And who else loved the scene when Masato kicked Ren and Haruka out of the room like that?

For anyone who reads all of my stores, I'm real sorry that I've missed out on updating as often as I use to. The truth is, I've become rather obsessed with pokemon once again recently, and not only am I pulling a lot of time into writing my unposted Pokemon Fanfiction, but I'm also playing Pokemon Go like crazy! Almost 60 pokemon registered in the pokedex~

I'm also helping out a friend of mine on her youtube channel- The Adventure Duo! I don't think the channel is up right now, but if anyone wants to hear what I sound like, I will be doing a top ten funniest/ useless abilities for a pokemon. It's not up yet, but if you're dying to find out what my voice is actually like, check it out! I'll be guest starring under the name (I bet none of you ever expecting this!) ImaDoinWat! And you'll get to see what I'm really like ;)

And once again, if anyone actually wants to read my pokemon fanfiction, mention it in the reviews and once I'm comfortable with the first few chapters, I'll post it~ It takes place in Unova and the main character is Touko, with her partner pokemon, Peaky. It's an interesting mix of drama, small romance, adventure, with a dark ending.
