Mori PoV

I carried Haruhi out of the car and into the house, unsure of where to let her rest I headed upstairs figuring that my bedroom would suffice for now. She was still was still sleeping and I let her be while Changed and got a glass of water for Haruhi when she would wake up.

I sat down in the chair next to her and waited for to awaken, she must have been exhausted though, I mean a lot happened yesterday. But maybe that's a good thing, maybe it means she'll open up to me a bit more, let me hep her more. She's going to have to let us do something for her, even if it is just give her shelter, she can't very well go home. What would her dad do? Throw her out, no, I doubt he would do that even if he did forget about her, but that isn't the situation Haruhi should be in now. She deserves to be surrounded by people that care about her, bu people that love her, and her dad isn't in the right frame of mind right now, but surely there is something we can do to make things right between the two, even if it isn't the same, he''s the only blood relative she has. But for now she has us, she has me.

I looked over at Haruhi as she started to stir.

"Mori?' She whispered as she sat up and looked around.

"Yes, Haruhi?" I asked.

"I'm sorry. I never meant to cause all of this trouble. I thought I would just be gone and no one would have to think about me anymore." She said.

"You don't have to apologize, just promise me you won't do that again, promise me that you'll stay, that you'll accept my help." I replied softly.

She didn't say anything.

"Haruhi, I love you. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't stopped you that day in the club room. Promise me you'll let me help you." I begged her.

"But I don't deserve your help." She said as she looked down at her hands.

"Yes you do. And besides if you didn't deserve my help I wouldn't give it to you." I said as I took hold of her hand.

"Thank you." She said looking down at our entwined hands.

"Can I come in?" Mitskuni asked as he knocked on the door and Haruhi removed her hand from mine.

"Yeah." I replied

"How are you doing Haru-chan?" He asked.

"Okay." She replied.
