Heh heh, hi. Well, its a been awhile, little over a month, but hey, who's keeping track? Certainly not this Author. Enough rambling though, I do not own Yugioh, or any of the songs used in this chapter, enjoy! [YUGI, YAMI, and ATEM]
Chapter 41
The rest of January passed by pretty quickly, and before he knew it, it was the week leading up to Valentine's Day. Between dropping large hints, and keeping his plans a secret, Yugi had his hands full. He even went to the point of telling Marik to explain what Valentine's was to humans. How important it was. At the moment though, he was just relaxing, while sitting on the balcony railing. He had been to see Isis earlier, and discovered that he wouldn't start showing until the third month at least, fourth at the latest. He had been very relieved at the news.
He got off the railing and went back into the bedroom to lie down on the bed. He lay face down, hoping to get some sleep. He was always so tired these days, which was apparently very normal for a pregnancy. He would know, after talking to Isis he had gone off and done some research himself. Geez, being a first time Mother sure was a lot of work. He had to sign up for a baby registry, or something of the sort, to get all the stuff he would need for the new lives he was creating. He still hadn't told his mates about this, or the fact that he was planning on gutting out the Ruby Room and remaking it into a baby room. All the sites suggested something close to the parents' room, so it was more accessible. Well, that was as close as they could get, just one door over. He shook his head, he was supposed to be relaxing not stressing about baby things.
"You have so many thoughts flying through your mind ours keep buzzing with it. Want to share any of those thoughts?" Atem said sitting down on his hips before starting to rub his back with his magic hands.
"No, this is good. Just keep doing that."
"Yeah, I still want to know what you're thinking." Atem chuckled.
"Just that we need to gut out the Ruby Room and re-do it."
"Hm? What for?"
"The twins' room."
"And how are you planning on making it into a child's room?"
"Children, and I was thinking about an underwater theme, or maybe an animal theme."
"Animal?"
"Yeah, with sea turtles, bear cubs, fawns, bunnies, and other cute baby animals."
"No."
"Why not?"
"No animals."
"Why?"
"Because you dream about them too often, and Yami and I are usually the subjects dressed up in them."
"Not always."
"Yeah, what about last night?"
"Well, if I recall, I was dressed up like a magnificent white tiger, and you and Yami were my prey. You made wonderful antelope for my cubs."
"Yes, we would like to help take care of our children, not be food for them."
"So you admit I'm having twins?"
"No."
"Oh, yeah, that's the spot, right there. Get it, Atem, get it."
"Right here?"
"Yeah, get that little sucker. Work it out."
"Okay, do you want me to press harder or softer into it?"
"Harder, definitely harder."
"As my mate commands."
"Yes, I do, oh yeah, that feels so good. Don't stop, Atem, just don't stop."'
"How can I when you're making such beautiful sounds for me?" he asked in husky whisper.
"Atem! Isis said no sex!" Yami cried bursting into the room with food. Yugi turned his head to look at him, as Atem froze with his hand on Yugi's lower middle back. Yami shook his head before setting the food down on the bed.
"Ooh, food." Yugi said his eyes zeroing in on the plate.
"I thought you were having sex." he said siting down and running a hand through Yugi's hair.
"Obviously." Atem commented before massaging Yugi's back again.
"Yami, feed me." Yugi slightly ordered opening his mouth.
"Okay." He replied picking up a piece of chocolate and popping it in there.
Next second, Atem was falling onto the bed, Yami was blinking at the empty space where Yugi had been, and Yugi was in the bathroom getting sick. Here he had been craving chocolate, and he couldn't even eat it it seemed. He heard a shuffle of feet as he heaved again into the porcelain throne.
"Yugi, are you okay?" he heard Yami ask.
No more chocolate, no more.
But you've been asking for it for the past three days.
No more!
Alright, no more chocolate.
What about cheese, can we still feed you that?
Only one way to find out.
What's that?
Feed me it.
Well, this should be interesting. You have everything he's been craving on this plate.
Yep!
Let us know when you're done getting sick, Yugi, we'll try the next thing on the tray.
I have a better idea, why don't you just bring it in here, and we'll discover it together?
You just don't want to move away from the toilet in case you have to get sick again.
Yep.
FLUSH!
"Alright, here's a sour thing." Atem said handing him something.
"Well, at least let me rinse out my mouth first."
"Okay. By the way, when is this Valentine's thing that Marik keeps going about?"
"Oh, Saturday, on the 14th, same as always."
"If we were to miss it because of a meeting, how much trouble would we be in?" Yami asked in a curious voice.
"…"
"We won't be late, for whatever it is that you're planning, Yugi." Atem said taking his hand and kissing it.
"Promise?"
"Promise." They said together.
"Okay, give me that sour thing."
[Time skip]
Yugi sighed, it was almost perfect, he just needed to leave a note of where to meet him, and it would be perfect. Yugi wrote the note in the card in his best penmanship, and placed it against the chocolates. He had picked them up from Eliza this morning, she had helped him hide them until the day of. He adjusted the flowers again, making sure they were at just the perfect angle. He needed to leave, or he was going to be late for their reservation. He adjusted his tie, one last time, before grabbing his wallet and heading out the door.
He left the Palace, and made his way to the restaurant that was only three blocks away. He had made sure to choose something close, because he didn't want to rent a car, and his truck was way too low class for this place. Yugi jogged up the steps, and the doorman held the door open for him. He breathed in deeply, before walking up to the maître d'.
"Reservation under Mutou for three."
"This way, Sir." The maître d' seemed to have enough training to not comment on his nervous state.
Yugi nodded following him, to a rather open area in the middle of the dining hall. He pulled out the chair for him, Yugi sat in it. He handed him the menu and set two others down in front of the empty chairs. He nodded at him, and walked away.
Yugi sighed out, trying to beat down his nerves. Looking up, he noticed he had a perfect view of the door, so he would see when they arrived. Marik said he would end the meeting early, and then they would go upstairs, and see his display, read the card and come here. It was the perfect plan. There was nothing to be nervous about, it was all going to go perfectly.
The waiter came over and he ordered a bottle of wine that was friendly to both vampires and humans. It sounded strange, even to him, that a wine could be friendly to both species, but it was. It was a little more expensive than human and vampire wine, but after putting those prices together he was getting a better deal by ordering the cross species wine. When the wine came out, he laughed slightly at the title on it, Cross Species. The waiter frowned but he motioned for him to pour the wine in his glass. He asked when the other two were arriving, and Yugi responded by saying by seven. The waiter nodded, and walked away.
Yugi looked down at his watch and saw that it was one minute until then. Apparently they believed in the punctual approach, and were going to be right on the dot. He grinned, he couldn't wait for the date to begin. He had ordered an exquisite cuisine for the three of them ahead of time, the menus were merely there for show. He glanced down at his watch again, to see it was now seven, they should be walking in through that door any second now, any second.
[Time skip]
Yugi played with his quail again, not really hungry, as he glanced up at the door again. No, it was only an elderly couple walking out, hand in hand. He looked down at his watch again, 10:45 pm it read. Yugi sniffed, who was he kidding, they weren't coming. All the lengths he went through to acquire the perfect Valentine's date, and they didn't even show up. After dinner, he was going to take them to the beach where they were going to walk in the moonlight. Yugi bit his lip, fighting back the tears. The waiter, maître d', and owner came to his table to tell him that they were closing in 15 minutes. He nodded pulling out his wallet. The owner grabbed his arm before he could get it out though, telling him that the meal was on the house.
"No, I can't let you do that." Yugi argued.
"Anyone who waits as long as you have for someone who is so obviously not coming, deserves not to pay." The owner replied with pity heavy in his eyes. Yugi looked down at the white linen, and nodded, a tear finally falling from his eyes. He got up and left, walking back home alone.
He passed many Palace staff on his way to his room. Many asked him where he had been, and did he know how worried the King and Queen were about him. So they had gone up to the bedroom? Yugi stared at them, before the tears flowed freely. He turned making his way to his Game Room instead. He didn't want to be anywhere near the heartless creatures. Wanted nothing to do with them. At least when Marik and Akeifa and Bakura hadn't shown up for Malik's and Ryou's displays of love, they had a reasonable excuse. They hadn't known about it. Yugi burst into his Game Room and stopped short. They were both here, lounging on his couch, right where he was going to fling himself face first into the cushions.
"Wow, you called that one spot on, Yami." Atem said looking up at him.
"Wait, what's wrong, Yugi? Why are you crying?" Yami frowned.
"Did the meeting run late?" Yugi asked looking at the floor.
"No, we took a ten at Marik's request, and then no one came back. They all just vanished." Atem said in bewilderment.
"Did you go upstairs?"
"No, one of the Palace staff told us you left through the front doors and they never saw you return. Yugi, where have you been for the past four hours?"
"Did you forget? What today is?"
"Today? It's Saturday." Yami answered.
"Mmhm. Saturday…."
"The 14th?"
"Oh, damn it!" Atem cursed.
"What? What's so special, about the 14th? Now next weekend, that's a special weekend, right? We can't wait to see what you have planned for us."
"Nothing."
"But it's Valentine's Day."
"No, Yami, that was today. We got our weekends mixed up. We're sorry, Yugi. We will make it up to you." Atem said appearing in front of him and pulled him into a hug.
"It was p-p-perfect, and then r-r-ruined!" Yugi cried into his chest.
"I'm sorry, so sorry. You've been working on this for weeks, and we just left you hanging."
"No, sitting alone at a table in a high class restaurant all alone. Watching as pairs of couples came and went. All of them throwing me looks of pity as they passed. Even the owner felt bad enough to not make me pay."
Yugi could feel both of their emotions of regret tearing through him, adding to his sorrow and slowly rising anger. He could also feel their pain as his ripped through them, could feel it reflecting right back at him. That's all it was though, a reflection. Yugi pushed away from Atem. He knew three words that would make them really feel hurt.
"I ha-ha-ha-ha-ha…" if he could only get them out. Get them out and put some conviction behind them. Atem's eyes grew even sadder, as he pulled Yugi back against his chest, sad and full of pity.
"No, you don't." he whispered holding him close and rubbing his back. Yugi soon grew limp in his arms, exhausted from the day's emotional turmoil. He just wanted a way out, and sleep, sleep was the easiest way right now.
"What was he trying to say?" he heard Yami ask.
"That he hated us. The worst possible thing to use against us. To make us feel as hurt as he does." Atem replied. Yugi didn't hear anything else, he was asleep at that point.
[Time skip]
"Yugi, it's time to get up, it's feeding day." Yami called softly.
"Aww, are you hungry?" Yugi asked opening one eye to look at him.
"Yes, we're always hungry on Sundays, you know this."
"Alright I have the soup." Atem said coming into the room.
"I was thinking of something a little more gourmet for breakfast."
"Like what?" he asked setting the tray down on his desk.
"Why a four course meal of course. First there should be an appetizer of something say like pot stickers, and then I'll have a wonton soup, followed by quail, and last a small sampling of ice cream. Not to mention an entire bottle of Cross Species wine."
"Yugi you're pregnant, and pregnant people aren't meant to have alcoholic drinks." Yami said.
"Says who?"
"Um, I don't know…"
"The point is, no alcohol for you because we don't want to endanger the children." Atem said shaking his head.
"How exactly is me drinking alcohol endangering the children? And ha! You admit I'm having twins."
"Whatever, just hold still so we can eat."
"No."
"Sorry?"
"You're hungry?"
"Yes, we are."
"Then go suck something else dry. Only those who remember important events get to drink from this body."
"Oh, now don't be like that." Yami cooed.
"I'm sorry, were you sitting alone in the middle of a high class restaurant by yourself for three hours and 45 minutes?"
"No, but-"
"Then I don't want to hear about you being hungry. Find yourself a different blood bag, because I'm not it." With those words he disappeared down the stairwell. He ran all the way to Marik's room, knowing he could find Malik there. As he approached the room he heard movement so he knew the two were up.
"Well, I suppose you deserve something for that little show last night."
"Yeah?"
"Yes, do you want it now, or perhaps later?"
"Oh, now give it to me now."
"Malik, they forgot!" Yugi shouted bursting into their room. After taking in the scene before him though, he was kinda wishing he had waited a little longer. Marik was feeding from Malik with one of his hands down his pants, and Malik was undoing Marik's shirt.
"You know, I think I'll go complain to, Ryou." Yugi said quickly backing out of the room.
"No, Yugi, wait." Malik called."
"No, Yugi, definitely go complain to, Ryou. He wants to hear all about it. Malik does not." Marik encouraged.
"What? No, I definitely want to hear about how after everyone, including you, dropped major hints about the event they still forgot."
"They were probably just a few minutes late."
"They left me sitting there alone for three hours and 45 minutes."
"What?"
"It's their problem not ours."
"I should have just left."
"No, Ryou couldn't really understand at the moment, he's too excited about those new pups of Bakura's."
"Yeah, but you and Marik were doing something."
"Oh, we can finish it later."
"That's it, this just became my problem. Excuse me while I go pummel my best friend and his mate into the ground."
"Have fun." Malik said cheerfully as he disappeared out the door. Yugi saw his hand wave at him, and then he was gone.
"Hm, I wish I could help with that."
"Later Yugi, right now, tell me everything."
"They didn't even go to the room, I doubt they've even seen the chocolates yet."
"Well, they would have had to move them so you guys could all sleep right?"
"I guess."
"So, yeah, now what? Starving them…it isn't enough. Not to really punish them."
"Hm, we need four heads for this. I'm calling up the other two."
"I don't know, the last time we interrupted Kaiba he didn't speak to any of us for a week."
"Pah, rich boy should be done by now, and if he isn't then it's his loss." Malik pressed some buttons on his phone before turning on the speaker.
"Hello?" Ryou answered sounding dead tired.
"You better have a good reason for calling, Malik." Kaiba growled.
"They stood Yugi up."
"I'll send him over."
"What? Why?" Ryou asked suddenly awake.
"They never saw the note, they never even went to the room because some staff member said they saw me leaving and never come back."
"They need to be punished for this."
"Any ideas?" Jou asked over the phone.
"I say no affection for a week." Malik suggested.
"That'll be easy." Yugi shrugged.
"Make them grovel." Kaiba added.
"Who?" Seth asked. They must have the phone on speaker too.
"Yugi's mates." Jou answered.
"For what?"
"Standing him up."
"But…I thought it was all set up."
"Yes, except for one of the Palace staff butting in where they didn't belong." Yugi growled out.
"Excuse me, I need to go have a word with my cousin."
"If there's anything left of him."
"What do you mean?"
"My boyfriend is pummeling him and Yami into the ground as we speak." Malik said casually.
"No names, Malik, it only gives them power. Power knowing that they're still on Yugi's mind if they were to hear their names in a casual conversation between us." Ryou said in a ruthless voice.
"What should we call them then?" Yugi asked.
"Thing 1 and Thing 2."
"Who gets to be one and who gets to be two?" Jou asked.
"Does it matter?" Malik asked.
"Jou's got a point, I think Yami should be one and Atem two, it'll be more degrading to switch them around that way. And they'll never catch on either."
"I'm sure they'll get it by the end of the week, but yes you're right, they are kind of slow." Ryou said.
"Okay, okay. Yugi, we're very sorry we missed the date last night." Atem said entering the room sporting a purple eye, and Yami looked untouched behind him.
"Good, now go make up somewhere else." Marik said waving at Yugi for him to get out.
"Did you guys hear something?" Yugi asked.
"No, nothing but the whistling wind." Ryou said. There was howling laughter coming from a little ways away from the phone, but you could still hear it.
"Oh, come on!" Yami shouted.
"Perhaps if we pretend like they don't exist, they'll get the hint and go away." Malik whispered loudly.
"What exactly do we have to do to get you to forgive us?" Atem asked.
A hundred different suggestions were thrown at them. They were all said at the same time though, that it was hard to make out what was actually said. Yugi smiled as he caught a few through the mixed up jumble of words. Grovel, beg, flatter, grovel, shower with gifts, romanticize, grovel.
"I heard grovel like 18 times." Yami whispered.
"I am not groveling." Atem whispered back.
"Fine, then I will."
"No, come on, we're going to do something else." Atem responded grabbing Yami by the back of his shirt and dragging him off.
"Can't wait." Yugi muttered.
"Can I please finish eating now?" Marik asked.
"Are you actually going to eat, or are you going to molest my friend again?" Yugi asked. Next second he was being thrown out on his butt into the hallway. Yugi sighed before going to his Game Room, he figured he'd sleep some more. He plopped down onto his couch, and promptly fell asleep. It was going to be a long week.
[Time skip]
"I just want to know why they skipped all day." Yugi said pouting.
"Don't worry about it. Why can't you be how you were like last week towards them?" Malik asked.
"What do you mean?"
"You know, like how you were fighting tooth and nail to get out of their arms." Ryou said.
"Yeah, you looked like a cat or toddler trying to get away." Jou added.
"Ha ha, very funny." Yugi said sticking out his tongue as they strolled through the Palace.
"So anyway, to help out we've decided that one of us is going to spend the night with you every day of the week." Ryou said.
"Oh, come on, I can stay away from them for the week."
"Says the person who usually forgives them after a day of punishment." Jou said,
"Oh, crap, he's early." Yami whispered.
"No not even, it's more like two hours." Malik countered.
"Dive, Yami, dive!" Atem whispered in a panicked state.
"Ugh, just let me grab a warmer jacket and we'll go to the arcaaaaaa." Yugi trailed off shaking his head as he zipped up the stairs and opened the door to his room.
"Are you just going to stand there? Or are you going to go in?" Malik asked.
Yugi was all for standing in the doorway as he took in the sight before him. They were everywhere, he couldn't see the floor, could barely see the bed, and wow, were those for him? Was it all for him? Did he really need to stay mad at them all week?
"Yugi, what is…whoa, did they rob every store in Japan?" Malik asked coming to look into the room with him.
"Can I forgive them now?"
"No."
"But…" he gestured to the room making a few unintelligible sounds.
"Malik, you were supposed to hurry him up, not join him." Jou complained coming up the steps.
"Look." Malik angled his head to look into the room.
"Wow, my boyfriend looks so cheap right now."
"Why?" Ryou asked coming up the stairs. Yugi pointed.
"I need a new apology from Bakura and Akeifa for missing our first Valentine's."
Yugi sighed, and bent down picking one of them up. He took a deep smell of it before, plucking a petal and rubbing it between his fingers. He let it slip from his hand, falling back to join the rest.
"Their real." He said quietly.
"So they did rob every store."
Yugi waded through the sea of Carnations, Lilies, Roses, and Tulips to get to his bed. The flowers came up to his knees. Sitting on the bed was packages of sweets, fruits with nothing dipped in chocolate, and a teddy bear that was twice his height and three times his width. It made him wonder where they found such a treasure, and if they could get their hands on another one. He couldn't see their kids sharing such a prize. He looked around the room, and spotted tufts of tricolored hair hiding among the flowers, right by the closet.
"We should get out of here." Ryou suggested.
"Yeah, before I break my already fragile resolve and forgive them." Yugi said turning to him and grinning. He made his way to the closet, making sure to step on them, not trip over them.
Was that really necessary?
Yes, I didn't want to get lost among the flowers.
So, you forgive us?
No.
Even after all this?
Correct.
Why?
I was told I had to wait a week. I have to be strong and wait an entire week before I can forgive you. So next Sunday I'll forgive you.
We'll break you before that.
Bring it on.
"Yugi, arcade." Jou called.
"Coming!" he skipped out of the closet with a bouquet of flowers he found in there.
"Leave the flowers." Ryou said.
"But they're so pretty."
"By taking the flowers, it means you've forgiven them. Which you haven't, so drop them."
"Okay." Yugi pouted reluctantly letting the flowers go.
You're ours.
"Come on, before they come back and see that you actually like their set up." Ryou grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the room.
Too late, they already do. Yugi sent them a mental smirk.
"Okay, so who wants to play a friendly game Duel Monsters?"
"Ryou." Malik and Jou answered at the same time.
"No I do not. There was nothing friendly about that last game. Nothing at all."
"Come on, Malik, it's been months since I've squished you."
"You want me to take you out?"
"I want to see you try."
"Well, then get the crown ready, I'm killing the King."
[Time skip]
"What happened to killing the King, Malik?" Jou asked.
"Well, if the King would play fair, maybe someone could actually take him out!" Malik complained as he stared up at Slyfer the Sky Dragon who had 7,000 Attack points, the Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl, as well as King's Knight, Queen's Knight, and Jack's Knight. Not to mention there were three face down cards hanging out behind them, and the Gold Sarcophagus above them with a card already inside.
"I am playing fair. I sacrificed three of my best monsters to summon, Slyfer." Yugi argued staring easily over at his opponent. Malik only had two monsters on the field, a Gravekeeper's Descendent and Drillago. With only two cards face down, he was in serious trouble. Yugi was planning on sacrificing his Knights to summon Obelisk next turn, placing two more cards face down, and then card destruction. He'd have the perfect set up after that, and Malik would be demolished in two turns, without him even having to use his God Cards. They were merely out for intimidation.
"I'm taking a tip out of your book, Ryou. I surrender." He said placing his hand on his deck.
"Oh, come on! How come no one wants to finish a duel with me?"
"Because this was supposed to be a friendly duel."
"You threatened to take my title. There is nothing friendly about that."
"Touché."
"What about you, Jou? Wanna take on the King?"
"No, I'll lose every time. And any time I did win, it would only be because he let me."
"I wonder if thing 2 can beat me?" Yugi wondered out loud.
"Why?" Malik asked.
"Because when we bowled last year, on the date I planned on a whim, we tied every game."
"Does he even have a deck?" Ryou asked. Yugi shrugged.
"Anyone want to go to Burger World?" Jou asked.
"Is the werewolf hungry?" Ryou teased.
"No."
"Then why-"
"He's starving."
"Alright let's feed him." Yugi said grabbing his deck and watching Malik do the same they both jumped off of the dueling arena, and all four boys headed out of the arcade.
They laughed and talked amongst one another as they made their way to the burger joint. Planning out ways to avoid Thing 1 and Thing 2 for the week, so Yugi didn't crack. They had come up with about two dozen, most of which were shot down by Yugi, when they reached the restaurant. They walked in, ordered their separate meals, and turned to their usual spot only to stop short. Every Seme that belonged to them was already sitting there. They formed a huddle in the middle of the walkway.
"Now what?" Malik asked.
"Well, obviously we're not sitting there." Yugi replied.
"Yeah, but they'll want to drag you off as soon as you're done eating." Ryou pointed out.
"True, hey, why isn't Bakura with his pups?"
"That's a good question. They can't possibly be big enough to be away from Mum yet."
"Mum?" Jou questioned.
"It's a British thing. So what are we going to do?"
"I don't know." Malik shook his head.
"I think I can survive the nights, as long as I get back as late as possible. I can hide out in the public library." Yugi said slowly.
"Why?"
"They were kicked out last year."
"I don't know, Yugi. It sounds risky." Jou shook his head.
"I can handle it, trust me."
"Alright, but at the first sign of breakage, I don't care what Seto says, you're staying at our place."
"Deal." They shook on it while balancing their trays before going to sit somewhere else. There was an open bench on the other side of the room so they sat there.
"I want to know how they even knew we were coming here." Malik said while taking a bite out of his burger.
"Seth didn't put another tracker on you, did he?" Ryou asked turning to Jou.
"I don't think so. And wouldn't they have shown up after us if that was the case?"
"He's got a point." Yugi said rubbing his chin.
"You have the mind thingy with them." Ryou said looking at Yugi.
"Uh uh, don't even go there. Haven't really used it today. Well, except to talk to them when we were in the room together."
"What are you talking about?" Jou asked.
"Yeah, they weren't in the room." Malik added.
"Yes they were, they were under the bed of flowers. I bet if you went over there to smell them, they would reek of them." Yugi nodded over at them.
Malik narrowed his eyes at him, before getting up and going over there. He bent over and smelled one and then the other vampire. Both were giving him looks that strongly asked what he was doing. Malik frowned, nodded and came back over. Leaving them all baffled as to what had just happened.
"He's right, they smelt as if they took a bath in flowers."
"Hm. That still doesn't explain how they found us." Jou frowned.
"Sure it does. Kaiba's with them. Kaiba knows this is your favorite place to eat."
"Which is probably why he never takes him here." Yugi whispered to Ryou who snorted into his drink.
"He likes to save it for the really special occasions." Ryou whispered back.
"Also known as Jou being really upset with him."
"Hey, I heard that!" he said throwing ketchup packets at them. Yugi and Ryou just laughed harder.
"Thanks, Jou, I needed this. Now my burger will be perfect." Ryou teased. He responded by throwing honey mustard sauce at him next, of which Yugi caught one.
"Thanks, Jou!" he said opening it and putting it onto his burger.
"Maybe you should stop throwing things. You only seem to be helping them more than you are hindering them." Malik suggested.
"Yeah."
"Geez, what do we have to do to get a little attention around here?" Bakura asked squatting down by their table.
"Yeah, we came to the place rich boy said you were most likely to show up, and you sit on the other side of the room?" Marik asked.
"And why did you smell us?" Yami asked leaning over the back of Ryou's and Yugi's seat.
"Why isn't the Mummy home with his young?" Jou asked looking at Bakura.
"Why would I want to sit by you?" Yugi asked in a rude voice.
"Just hanging with the boys." Malik said spreading his arms out along the back of booth.
"We wanted to know if you actually smelled like roses." Ryou said looking up at Yami.
"Why?" he asked looking down at him.
"Yugi said you were hiding in the room when we were up there, and we didn't exactly believe him, so Malik did the investigating."
"Well, we should've smelled like a lot more than just roses."
"You lied to us, Malik?"
"No, I said flowers, not just roses. They took a bath in flowers."
"Ah."
"Silver is with them." Bakura answered Jou's question.
"You trust her with your young?" Malik asked.
"She's the Werewolves' Healer/Doctor. She helped me in giving birth to them." Bakura pointed out, as Yugi took a drink of his soda. He gasped, liquid trailing down his wind pipe. He set his drink down as he started to cough, trying to get it out. Ryou patted him on his back trying to help. He finally got it out with one final cough before looking over at Bakura.
"Birth? But you're a male." Yugi sputtered.
"Really? I had no idea. Thanks for pointing that out." Bakura said sarcastically.
"But wouldn't you have had a, you know, C section?" Yugi whispered.
"No, I popped them out just like any regular woman would."
"But…but…Isis!"
"Sh, sh, sh, you're not a werewolf, you're all human. It'll be as she told you it would." Atem consoled rubbing his back.
"Wait, is he-?" Bakura started before Jou clapped a quick hand over his mouth.
"Please, we're trying to keep this on down low for as long as possible." Jou said in earnest.
"Yeah, Atem has already threatened every vampire of what would happen to them if they dared to leak it to into the world before Yugi was ready to let them know." Seth added sitting in the booth behind Jou and Malik. Bakura shoved Jou's hand away as his eyes narrowed at Atem and Yami.
"How could you both be so irresponsible? He's only 17!"
"We're doing everything we can to protect him from the same ridicule we receive on a daily basis." Atem growled back.
"It's not the vampires or werewolves I'm worried about. They'll accept this as just a side effect of admitting love to your kind. It's the humans that have me concerned. I don't think you realize just how cruel they can be. You've only seen the violent side of them, not the cruelty. Not the words."
"The words?"
"Yes, the words. I can't count the times that Ryou came home crying because someone said something to him about our forming relationship. That's why we started to go to school with him, to frighten off his tormentors."
"And to stake our claim, but that was just a small part of it." Akeifa added.
"Were you all bullied?" Atem asked.
"No, people were too afraid of Kaiba's power to try anything with Jou, and as for myself I fought back with my own cruel words and fists. So neither one of us were really as an easy target as Yugi and Ryou." Malik shrugged.
"Hm." He tilted Yugi's head up, leaning in for kiss.
"No! No." he shoved Atem's head away, his hand over his mouth.
"Are you sure you can handle yourself every night, Yugi?" Malik asked smirking.
"Absolutely."
"Really? An opportunity like that might not come around again. After all isn't he the one who's usually pushing you away?"
"I can handle it, Malik. Besides there'll be plenty of more opportunities like that. Have you forgotten that they're trying to get in my good graces again?"
"No, I haven't. I'm just wondering if you'll be as quick to catch it the next time. It could be sudden and quick."
"Yes, well now I have the strength to push them away, remember?" Yugi asked flexing his non-existent muscles.
"Yeah I do, and may I say that I think that is so hot."
"Want to feel them?"
"Of course." Malik said reaching across the table.
"Okay, that's enough flirting." Marik said pulling Malik back and trapping his arms at his side.
"Why do you do that?" Yami asked.
"Because I love seeing you get jealous." Yugi responded grabbing Malik by the front of his shirt and pulling him forward, sealing their lips in a rough kiss. He let the other go.
"Why are they always short?" Malik asked making it sound as if they did this all the time.
"We don't want to ruffle too many feathers, Baby, so it's best if they're short."
"I understand."
Yugi rubbed the area around his lips as it was starting to sweat. The pain was getting worse the longer he went without kissing one of his mates. He shouldn't have done that, but he couldn't help it. Well, no he supposed he could have helped it, but the opportunity had presented itself, and who was he to back down from a challenge? His head was lifted and Atem soothed the burning with his own lips.
"Don't do that again." He said pulling away.
And just how are you going to stop me? His eyes grew hooded as he looked at the two of them with undeniable lust in his eyes.
"Oh, don't tease!" Yami complained planting his face into the crook of Atem's neck.
"Yes, Yugi, don't tease, it'll only make them want you more." Ryou said grinning at him.
"Precisely." Yugi said back.
"What did they do?" Bakura asked looking over at Marik.
"Oh, they just missed their date with Yugi this past Saturday."
"Way to go!" Akeifa said thumping them on the back.
"Which reminds me, I need a new apology from you two for missing our first Valentine's date." Ryou said nodding.
"Why?"
"Because they filled his room with knee deep flowers, put a humungous teddy bear on the bed, and surrounded it with goodies."
"Way to make the rest of us look cheap." Kaiba complained.
"Yeah, now we all have to step it up a notch when we make them upset." Marik complained.
"We should go." Ryou whispered.
"I told you to get him a bouquet of flowers, and his favorite sweet, along with some type of small stuffed animal. I did not tell you to go overboard with it." Seth complained his head in hand.
"Yeah, come on." Malik agreed. They all started to slide out of the booth slowly and quietly.
"We wanted to make an impression." Atem said back.
"Oh, well you did that!" Kaiba shouted wrapping an arm around Jou's waist as he tried to slip past. Ryou was grabbed by Bakura, and Yugi and Malik ran past the hands that grabbed for them.
"Do you think we should go back for them?" Yugi asked looking back at their struggling friends.
"It would be the nice thing to do, but if I tried, I'd only get caught. It's too bad we don't know someone who recently came across an increase in speed and strength." Malik said looking at Yugi slyly.
"Ha ha, one sec."
He moved around the room, grabbing two random people and replacing them with his friends before the Semes even knew what had happened. He appeared back over by Malik with them. Jou and Ryou blinked as they watched the two strangers struggling in their oblivious Seme's arms. A group of girls came over to rescue their friend, while the guy, that Yugi had grabbed, was just laughed at by his group of friends.
"Should we go see that movie, now?" Ryou asked turning back to them.
"Sounds like a plan. Then we all really need to get home so we can work on some homework." Malik said.
"Yeah, I agree to that, it's starting to pile up again." Jou said.
"Who are you?" they heard Kaiba ask.
"Time to go!" they headed out to go see the new Avengers movie.
[Time skip]
Yugi yawned, as he got up and stretched. The teddy bear hadn't made as comfortable a bed as he had thought it would. Still, though, as least it had prevented Atem and Yami from sliding in next to him, as it had taken up most of the bed.
"Good morning, Beautiful." Atem said from behind him. Yugi turned to see him watching him from his desk chair.
"Um, yeah, morning." Yugi said looking down at the bear he had been sleeping on.
"What did you do with all the food?"
"Well, I took the refrigerator stuff down to Isis, and the rest I shoved in my closet."
"So do you like the big teddy bear?"
"It's okay." Yugi said shrugging it off. In truth though he loved it, but he couldn't let them know that, he was supposed to be angry at them.
"Yugi, that chocolate you gave us, why did it both smell and taste like your blood?" Yami asked coming into the room with a food tray.
"You ate it?"
"Yes, we were hungry and it filled us up, oddly enough."
"Not really, I gave a pint of my blood for each box."
"You did what? When was this?" Atem asked.
"It doesn't matter when it was, I'm just glad you guys enjoyed them." Yugi said throwing off the blankets and going into the bathroom.
"Yes, it does matter." Yami said through the door.
"I disagree. Don't you have some meeting you need to be attending?" he asked coming back out.
"Nope, today we're all yours." Atem smirked.
"Lucky me."
"Don't get all excited."
"Why don't we just skip school today, huh?" Yami asked watching him move towards the closet.
"No."
"We'll make it worth your while."
"No."
"Why not?"
"Schools fun." Yugi's words traveled through the room as he left, using his extra speed, out the door.
He reached the school just as the gates were opening. Arriving though, he realized he had forgotten his backpack, homework, and something to eat. He held his stomach as it growled in protest. He supposed he could just get something from the cafeteria when it opened, until then he'd go sit in the tree. He'd only taken a couple of steps when something warm and soft hit the back of his head.
He looked behind him to see Yami and Atem standing there, his backpack slung over Atem's shoulder. He then looked down to find a paper bag there. Scooping it up, he opened it to find breakfast. His eyes lit up, and a smile graced his lips as he beamed at them. As he started in on the food, it occurred to him what his friends might say. Ah, screw his friends he was hungry and feeding three wasn't an easy task.
Malik showed up as he was scraping the end of the bag, as he was still hungry. He looked sadly at the end of it. He sniffed and looked up at his mates with his cutest pout. Atem looked like he had sighed before he handed his backpack to Yami, and ran off. He still found it weird that he could actually see them when they moved. It also occurred to him that they were less graceful than most humans thought. Their running and walking was just like anyone else's, a little sloppy and lopsided.
"Yugi, Atem isn't going to fetch you more food is he?" Malik asked obviously having watched their silent exchange.
"Hey, I'm feeding three here, so bug off." Yugi told him crumpling up the empty paper bag and throwing it at him.
"You're what?" a voice asked from behind them. They whipped around to see Vivian and Miho standing there.
"Oh, isn't that some wonderful and juicy gossip." Miho said grinning.
"It's not nice to gossip." Malik said quickly.
"Sure is fun though." They giggled running off.
Yugi turned his face into Malik's chest. His life was over. Everyone knew that even though Vivian, Miho, Mai, and Anzu liked to gossip, they never lied. They only gossiped the truth. Mai wouldn't be able to confirm or deny because she was a vampire, but the other three would. After all, how could he be so stupid, he had said himself in front of the two girls that he was feeding three.
"Yugi?" Yami asked cautiously behind him placing a hand in his shoulder. Yugi whipped around snatching his backpack from the man, and giving him a halfhearted push.
"Go away!"
"Yugi, please!"
He didn't listen to him though as he ran into the building, and straight to his first period. There weren't many people in the school right now. So he easily made his way to first period unhindered. He plopped in his seat and just broke down crying into his arms.
"Yugi?" Anzu's voice asked from the doorway.
"Go away, Anzu." He cried.
"It's true?"
"Come to be the first to mock me?" he asked raising his tear stained face to her.
"No. I just came to tell you that I'm telling your sister that I quit. She thought I could push myself between you guys. But I'm not going to go after someone who is so obviously taken. And I'm not going to spread this around either. We were friends once, if anyone asks me if it's true I'm just going to ignore them."
"She's been paying you hasn't she?" Yugi asked.
"Yes, I had wondered why the amount had increased suddenly, now I know why. I'm giving her the last payment back, and telling her I quit."
"Thank you, Anzu."
"You're welcome, Yugi." She said before she left.
He put his head back down on his arms, but the tears no longer flowed. He guessed he just needed someone to tell him they were on his side, that wasn't a friend or a lover. Or a family member either.
"Here, Yugi."
He looked up to see a McDonald's bag in front of him. He looked higher to see an angry Atem staring down at him. He turned his head away, looking towards the windows. Someone sighed, and he felt fingers running through his hair. Yugi squeezed his eyes shut, resisting the urge to lean into them. A lone tear slipped down his cheek.
"You're friends aren't here. You can take our comfort if it's needed." Yami whispered into his ear. Yugi had his face planted into his chest in seconds.
"Stop babying him, Yami." Atem growled.
"You weren't there, Atem. They're going to tell the entire school and there isn't a thing we can do about it. One of the girls smelled of werewolf, but if she doesn't belong to the pack Akeifa can't control her. Everyone will know." Yami bit back harshly.
"That doesn't excuse his actions towards you."
"No, but I think he was just misplacing his anger is all."
"Stop making excuses for him!" Atem shouted. Yugi clutched Yami's shirt tighter.
"I'm not! I'm just stating a fact is all! He was upset so he took it out on the first person who spoke up. I happened to be it."
"There you go again, making an excuse for him!"
"You're out of line, Atem!"
"Me?! I'm not the one blowing things out of proportion. It's these friends of his, they're bad influences on him. I think we should limit his contact with them effective immediately."
Yugi stiffened, frozen solid in Yami's arms. Fear leaked from him like a gas explosion. His words, he'd heard them before. Not in the same way, but very close. He loosened his hands from Yami's shirt, flattening them against his chest, and slowly pushed him away. His best friends were his life line, without them, he'd sink. He'd done it before, had to go through therapy to get back on his feet. The truth was, Sarugaki had taken something of Yugi's to his grave with him. He'd taken Yugi's security, and safety. He thought he'd found it again in these two, but apparently he'd been wrong. So wrong. He stared at the floor with fear filled eyes, his breath coming out in shaky gasps. Yami tried to pull him back in, but Yugi resisted.
"Way to go!" Yami exclaimed.
"Do you really believe that?" Yugi asked Atem.
"Believe what?" He replied.
"My friends?"
"No. I'm just frustrated. I came back to find Yami crying, and I could feel your sorrow over the link. It's difficult being the oldest sometimes." Atem sighed dropping to one knee.
"As long as you didn't mean it, we're cool." Yugi said kissing him on the forehead.
"Really?" Atem perked up.
"Just not about Valentine's." he said quickly.
"Damn." He slumped again.
I'm sorry for pushing you, Yami.
I forgive you, Dear.
"And I'm surprised you can only feel sorrow, because there should be a whole lot of dread coming over the link too." Yugi said aloud.
"I'll say, I heard two things, coming into school, about you, Yugi. One that you're going to be mad at them for the entire week, and two that you're pregnant?" Tony said coming into the room
"You heard right."
"Uh, about which one?"
"Both."
"But…you're…wow."
"Yeah."
"How far?"
"About a month."
Tony nodded as he sat down. He seemed to be at a loss for words. Yugi didn't blame him, he had gone after Heartless in Kingdom Hearts II, like they were the ones that had done something to him. Gone after them like he wanted to injury, maim, or kill something.
Glad we weren't home then.
One of you would have stopped me from really hurting the other.
True, but we're glad you had time to calm down a little bit first.
I don't know. I think I would have liked going after you two better than I did the Heartless.
Certainly would have released more anger, that's for sure.
Ha ha, yeah.
"Wait, what am I doing? I'm supposed to be upset with you guys because you missed one of the most important holidays known to human kind." Yugi said shaking his head and getting up and moving. Tony snorted with laughter, hiding it behind his hands. He wasn't the only one, several students who heard him were doing the same.
"Well, your plan was short lived." Yami said looking accusingly at Atem.
"At least mine worked." Atem shot back.
"We're going back to my ideas."
"Oh yes, because that worked beautifully. We spend all that money, and get nothing in return for it."
The whole class turned to Yugi. He wasn't really paying attention though, he was busy catching up on work. He felt a nudge at his leg though forcing him to look up. Everyone's eyes were on him.
"Uh, they covered the room in knee deep flowers, put a giant teddy bear on the bed, and surrounded it with goodies." Yugi said casually looking back down at his work.
"I wish my boyfriend would do something like that for me." One girl said.
"Your boyfriend probably hasn't been living for thousands of years, and therefore probably has a bottomless account in which to draw large amounts of money from. Large amounts of money that only seem like wiping a fine layer of dust off of a shelf."
"Fair enough." She responded.
"What makes you think we have bottomless accounts?" Atem asked.
"You bought me an authentic real life dueling arena for my birthday. It still works wonderfully by the way." Yugi said glancing up at him.
You will break before the week is out.
Bring. It. On.
[Time skip]
"You guys just obviously don't understand. You only saw the beginning of it all. You only saw their first act to try to get me to forgive them. I haven't shown you or told you about the rest, and last night I almost cracked. I mean, I had to draw on the change of my rapid emotions because of my pregnancy just to stay on top, just to stay upset." Yugi whined.
"So share." Malik said.
It was Friday, and Yugi felt as if his week had either been a living hellish nightmare or a fantasy like dream. He still couldn't decide which yet. Really it was becoming more and more difficult keeping up the angry front, and last night had really put that to the test.
"Well, you know what they did Monday."
"Yeah, the teddy bear and flowers." Jou nodded.
"Okay, well Tuesday, they serenaded me with hand played guitar love songs. I eventually had to grab the friggin guitar and throw it off the balcony. I wanted to sleep, and they were preventing me from doing so." Ryou, Jou and Malik were rolling on the around on the grass with laughter.
"And Wednesday?" Ryou asked.
"They took me down to the beach for a picnic. Then they wanted to go swimming. I convinced them to go in before me, and by the time they had turned around, I was halfway up the slope leading back to the castle. The dinner was so romantic though. They had cherries still on the stems, pocky, and everything I was going to feed them on our date. The one I planned and they stood me up for."
"Poor you, you're being romanticized by your mates, and you don't even get to enjoy it." Malik mocked sympathized.
"Yeah, sure, make fun."
"Last night?" Jou asked.
"Last night, they put fresh bouquets of flowers all over the room. Ever single one of them were roses. Every single one of them had cards attached to them. This one was my favorite." Yugi said pulling a bouquet out of his backpack, and dug around for a second looking for the card before he pulled it out too. In handwritten elegant calligraphy the card said, we love you and we're sorry for missing the date. We have something special planned out for tomorrow night, so make sure you're home really late, or else you won't get a chance to enjoy it. Yugi nuzzled the bouquet, rubbing the flowers against his cheek, they felt so soft, silky, and just perfect. Like they had been selected straight form the bush.
"Yugi, drop the flowers." Ryou ordered as he was the first to notice the behavior that Yugi was bestowing upon them.
"No, I won't. I can't. I don't think I can keep this up, guys. They've done so much for me this week. Proven just how sorry they really are. Why can't I just forgive them? Really, it's only two days earlier than I'm supposed to."
"You can't give in. You give in way too much to them as it is. You need to stand your ground, and remain firm. You need to show that this was a serious offense, and they can't just bat their eyelashes and win you over. Whatever they have planned for you tonight, you have to avoid it at all costs. I think you should bunk with Jou. That would be the safest option."
"Yeah, you're right. Okay, I'll stay at Kaiba's place for the night. Maybe Saturday too." Yugi gave in.
"Perfect, and I still have some of your clothes over from the last time you bunked there. So you don't even need to go home." Jou said nodding.
"Oh, okay." Yugi said looking away. He was already planning on sneaking out, no way was he going to stay at Jou's and not figure out what this thing was. What this new surprise was.
[Time skip]
Yugi cautiously opened the door to his room. He could hear Jou snoring down the hallway, so he was out cold. Kaiba was most likely in bed with him, making sure Seth kept his mitts off of his boyfriend. Yugi snuck down the hallway, down the stairs, and past the dark living room. It was already ten pm, and he didn't know how long they would wait for him. All they said was late, he hoped this was late enough. A light clicked on to his left, making him whirl around, looking like a deer caught in headlights.
"I told him you wouldn't stay, but he wouldn't listen." Kaiba said picking up a piece of paper and looking it over while opening his computer and typing away on it.
"You're not going to raise an alarm?" Yugi asked cautiously relaxing only slightly.
"Nope. I have more important things to worry about. Like getting back to bed, and separating the blood sucker from my boyfriend."
"Um, right, well, I'll see you Monday, probably."
"Goodbye, Yugi."
He left out the front door, using his supernatural speed to make it back to the Palace in record time. Where it would have usually taken him 30 minutes, it only took 10 minutes. He raced up the steps to his bedroom, hearing shuffled movement, before he burst into the room and nearly had a heart attack. There were candles lit everywhere. And there were still a lot of highly flammable things in the room. He freaked out, as he went candle to candle, blowing them out.
"What are they trying to do? Start a fire? Burn the place down? Of all the irresponsible things to do, this has to be the worst." He didn't even realize that he seemed to be moving along a path. A path that led straight into the bathroom. At least not until he heard a door snap shut and lock behind him.
"I told you something simple would work." Atem said.
"Yeah, yeah, but it took you forever to come up with it." Yami complained walking over to the tub and filling it up with water.
"Uh…it's kind of late for a bath, don't you think?"
"It's a Friday, I think the time hardly matters." Atem said giving him a little push to move further into the room. Yugi jumped up, and grabbed onto the wall, in a way he had been previously unaware that he could. He felt a little like Spiderman, but where he clung to the wall, Yugi's hands dug into it, making a handhold for him. Yami crossed his arms, looking up at him.
"You want to come down from there?" he asked.
"Not really, I feel a whole lot safer up here. My friends were right, this was a bad idea. I couldn't help it though, I just became so curious by your note." Yugi admitted jumping over to the other wall, as Atem appeared beside his previous hold.
"Huh, you really do have the senses of a newborn. However, unlike a normal newborn, you respond to no master, take no heed to any call, and everyone is your enemy, someone who wants to destroy you and do you harm. It gives you a heightened sense to know when something or someone is coming for you, before it or they actually arrive. It gives you a second head start, and for a newborn that's all that's really needed." Atem mused looking over at him before dropping back the ground. Yugi looked away from him back to Yami, to see him turning off the water, lighting a few candles around the tub, and throwing flower petals into it. More roses by the looks of them.
He slowly slid down the wall, moving over a few inches until he was hovering above the tub. It was giving off the most arousing aroma, fuchsia, jasmine, and just the slight tinge of roses. It was making Yugi's senses go crazy. The soft sound of clothes hitting the floor had him looking away from the tub, and over to his mates. They were slowly climbing into the tub, sending ripples his way as they slid slowly beneath its surface until only their shoulders and above were visible. They stared up at him, not in an expectant way, but more of a curious one. Like they were wondering as to what he was going to do.
His eyes flickered over to the door. That was no longer an option though, they had locked it. Amethyst eyes, turned back onto the two in the tub, he let himself slide down further until he was squatted on the edge of the tub. Slowly, ever so slowly, he removed his jacket, and threw it over by their clothes. He removed his shoes and socks and also tossed them over there. He hesitated around his belt line, before removing his pants too, and dipping his legs into the warm water, until the water was completely covering his calves, before he tossed his pants over the edge of the tub. His eyes flickered to Atem and Yami again, but they hadn't moved from their spots. This gave him enough confidence to remove his shirt, take his legs out of the water, and remove his boxers, before slipping fully into the water. He copied them, keeping his shoulders above water. He tilted his head to the side, moving his arms so he could lay his head against the side of the tub.
Nobody moved. Atem and Yami were too frightened about scaring Yugi right out of the tub. While Yugi was waiting to see what their next move would be, and debating his options when it showed itself. After five minutes of all three of them staring one another down though, it became apparent to Yugi, that they were waiting for him to make the first move. Blinking in surprise, he lifted his head from his arms, and pushed off the wall, towards them.
They tensed, and Yugi stopped, before lifting a hand and motioning them closer. They blinked, before Atem took the initiative and edged closer. Once he was within reaching distance, Yugi reached out blindly for his hands. After finding them, he pulled the man closer still towards him.
"This week has been torture. Having to stay mad at you guys, when in reality, I forgave you Monday. That was some display in the bedroom. I loved it, and I love you." Every emphasized word was reestablished with a kiss upon the others bare skin. Drawing shuddering gasps out of him, as he clenched tighter on Yugi's hands. Yugi worked his hands free, and moved over to Yami, leaving Atem in a mess from his affection, and he hadn't even kissed the man head on.
"I love you, and hate being angry and upset with you. This night will remain out little secret for forever. No one will know about it. It's going to be our little piece of forever. The night is perfect, and I don't want anyone's opinion to ruin it." Again he backed up each emphasized word with a kiss upon the other's bare skin, already knowing some of Yami's weak spots, like his collar bones.
"Agreed." A husky voice whispered in his ear as light kisses trailed over the right side of his neck. Yugi tilted it to the side giving him more room. Yami laying half kisses half nips to the underside of his jaw. He knew he was going to have dark, and very visible love bites in the morning, but he didn't care. He was tired of being kept from his mates. He needed them, he wanted them, he had to have them, they were his. Atem and Yami chuckled deep in their throats as they laid kisses on him like he was a canvas and they the painters.
He grew tired of the never ending kisses to his body though, and grabbed the back of Atem's neck, forcing him into a kiss. Atem didn't protest though, he simply encouraged it. Letting Yugi take full control of the kiss, as he turned his body away from Yami, to meet Atem head on. Atem seemed to have other ideas though as he wrapped his legs around Yugi's waist, forcing Yugi up into him. He broke from the kiss, breathing heavily into Atem's neck. He knew they didn't need to adjust, but he sure needed to. It had been so long since they had had sex of any kind, he had to admit he missed it. He knew he wouldn't be able to be taken, but that didn't mean he couldn't take. He gently bit his shoulder, before pushing him against the wall, and starting to move in and out of him. He still found it easy to find the sweet spot on the first try, and now because of his extra strength and speed he could keep up with Atem's thrusts on his cock. That gave him an idea, but he'd have to wait to try it out.
Atem found his lips again, and dominated the kiss. Fighting Yugi for it. Since he was so distracted elsewhere though, he gave in and let him have control of it. Moaning loudly into the man's mouth as he came within him. He broke the kiss, panting heavily in the crook of his neck. He expected teasing at this point about his stamina, but none came. Instead Atem unwound his legs from Yugi's waist and allowed the boy to pull out of him.
He didn't collapse against him though, no instead he moved over to Yami, who was relaxed against the wall. Eyes closed in pure bliss, unaware of the hunter approaching him. So it became a sudden and unexpected surprise when Yugi slammed into his hole. He jolted up around him, eyes snapping open, and arms flying out to brace against his shoulders. Yugi moved his hands to Yami's, curling his hands around his and interlacing their fingers. He pushed them back to either side of his head, as he leant down and kissed and nipped at the man's neck. He slowly started to move in and out of him. Yami let out long moans, which were soon being muffled by Atem's mouth. He felt a couple of fingers find his hole and thrust in and out in time with him. It had him pulling away from Yami, and letting off a needy moan of his own. Yami's lips were over his in seconds and they moaned together as they came together.
Yugi collapsed against Yami, as he found his neck again, suckling at the flesh like a new born babe looking for his Mother's nipple in the dark of the room. Atem laid kisses to the back of his shoulders as fingers ran through his hair. He moaned softly, leaning his head back into the fingers. Someone laughed, but no words were said. His hips were grabbed, and he was slid gently out of Yami.
He pulled away from the man, and reached up to draw Atem into another kiss. He obliged all too willingly. The kiss turning from loving and moving to greedy. Tongues clashed as they both fought for dominance, Yugi finally conceding the battle and handing the reins over to his Seme Seme. Yami moved forwards and littered his partially exposed chest with licks, nips, and kisses. The double assault was both very arousing, and very tiring for some reason. He found himself slowly becoming less responsive to Atem's kissing, and more of slowly falling asleep on him. Atem pulled away from him chuckling.
"He's spent." He said.
"Already?" Yami asked sitting up to look at him.
"To be fair, Isis did warn us that even if we could have sexual intercourse, it would be very short. He'd probably get one run out of us both, before slowly falling asleep."
"Do you think she'll know when she does the check up tomorrow?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." Yugi said opening one eye, not sure of when he had closed them exactly.
"So, do you forgive us for missing the big date?" Yami asked.
"I'll think about it. But you know, if you want to speed up the process, you'll get me another giant teddy bear."
Atem burst out laughing, as Yami frowned. He pulled Yami forward, so he was holding both of them. Yugi couldn't help it, he started to hum Hold me now. In the end, the song he was humming, along with the feeling of peace and safety put him out like a light being clicked off.

"YOU IRRESPONSIBLE PRICKS! I AM GOING TO SEPARATE YOU! I SHALL PUT YUGI IN ONE END OF THE PALACE AND YOU ON THE OPPOSSITE! I SAID NO SEX!"
Yugi jolted awake, looking around in bewilderment. He was in his room, and Isis was, for some odd reason, chasing Atem around the room. He put his head back down, and found himself to be laying it in someone's lap, not a pillow. Looking up, he discovered Yami smiling down at him.
"He took us, Isis, we didn't take him." Atem said trying to calm her down.
"I don't care what the scenario was! I told you no sex!"
"How can you even tell? We washed him down until the scent was completely gone from him and us." Yami said.
"Did you check his emotions?" Isis asked whirling around to face him.
"We didn't need to, they've been more at peace than they have in over a month." Atem answered before an 'oh' look crossed his face.
"I don't know how long his emotions will be like that, as this has never happened before. So enjoy it while it lasts." Isis said preparing to storm out.
"Um, Isis, how're the kids?" Yugi asked.
"Oh, they're maturing really well. I still can't tell gender or anything of the sort but they have separated into six different parts. The chances of you getting twins like you want are even slimmer now, Yugi, now that they've separated from one another."
"I don't care about the chances. I'm having twins, okay?"
"Alright, but try not to be too disappointed when you don't get your wish."
"I won't because it's not a wish, it's a demand."
"You're demanding twins?"
"Yes."
"Fine, then don't be too disappointed when your unborn young don't give in to such demands." Isis said sighing before walking out. Yugi could swear he heard her mutter something about disobedient miscreants. He looked over at his mates.
"You scrubbed me down?"
"Several times." Yami nodded.
He rolled his eyes before laying back down. Atem and Yami frowned, before they noticed that he was starting to fall asleep. He found himself upright in the next second, leaning against a bare chest.
"Yugi, it's already noon, I think you've had enough sleep." Atem whispered in his ear.
"It's what?! Oh, I'm so late!" Yugi shot out of bed and into the closet. He came out a moment later dressed in dark leather pants, a neon orange long sleeve shirt that clashed horribly with his hair, and a dark leather vest. He grabbed his low heeled boots, iPod, wallet, and ran out the door. Atem and Yami noticed that he had been juggling some apples, oranges, and a box of pixie sticks as well.
Yugi ran through the Palace at a lightning fast pace. He was supposed to be there at one, and according to his watch he had five minutes to get there. He picked up the pace, pushing himself even harder to make it on time. He disturbed papers on café tables, made people look around for the sudden gust a wind they felt fly past them, and pulled many vampires and werewolves alike to a stop as they tried to get a glimpse at the blur coming at them.
Yugi stumbled into the restaurant and sat down at the table where Malik was already sitting. The waiter came over and didn't even ask him what he wanted, but ran off to get a glass of water for him. Malik had a raised eyebrow at him, as he watched him pant and huff trying to get his breath back. The waiter set down his water and a menu before saying he'd come back to get their orders later.
Yugi guzzled the drink, and had already finished it when the waiter came back with a pitcher of ice water. He handed the waiter the glass, and just started to drink straight from the pitcher. Malik was shaking with laughter at his behavior, before voicing his question.
"Did you run all the way here?" he asked.
"Yes." Yugi breathed setting the empty pitcher down.
"That's not very healthy for the kids." Malik teased.
Yugi didn't say anything, but his look said volumes. He raised the pitcher and finished off the water. He then pulled out his iPod, and they started to flip through the songs picking out the best ones for the prank that night.
"Did Kaiba get it all set up?"
"Yes. Jou said that Seth was a little suspicious at first as to why they wanted to stay at his place for the night, but Jou was able to distract him so he could get it set up. He said that Atem almost caught him, but he managed to get away unnoticed."
"Okay, I think we should start out with this one."
"Perfect, and then we should follow it up with these three."
"Right, and then this one and I was thinking about this for the grand finale."
"Hmm, I don't know, is it devious enough?"
"Hm, you're right, how about this one?"
"No, you just went from bad to worse."
"Okay, then how about a classic?"
"Ooo, perfect."
"And Ryou's got his part all set up too, right?"
"Almost, he just needs a few more seconds. By the way, why weren't you at Jou's this morning?" Malik said checking his phone.
"I just wanted to see what it was."
"So what was it?"
"A fire hazard and a trap. They didn't get anything. I did though, I got an amazing show."
"They had sex in front of you, didn't they?"
"Yes! It was so hot! And I so wanted to join, but I didn't, and I'm happy about that."
"Right, wouldn't want to knock you up twice, now would we?"
"Nope! Oh, and there are six children in there."
"Six?!
"Yep, six."
"And you only want two, right?"
"At the very least. If I could I'd take all six."
"That's too much to handle."
"Yeah, you're right."
"Oh, Ryou's done."
"Good, let's get some muffins to go, and finish setting it up."
"I still think you should stick with our punishment of being angry for a week."
"That teaches them nothing. They committed a huge crime, and now they must pay up for it. Besides I stopped being angry with them after that first day, and they know it. Or at least they should, the mind link shares emotions too."
"I suppose it was letting them off a little easy."
"Exactly, this is much more justifying. Besides they told me once, that they don't sleep as much as they've let me believe. However, when I was in Isis's chambers the other day, I asked Molly if there was any sedatives that would knock vampires out for a few hours. She handed me two sedatives and said have fun."
"And how're you planning on administrating those?"
"In the last way they'll expect of course."
"How's that?"
"By feeding them of course. A day early, but still, it'll be too perfect."
"Is that how Molly told you to do it?"
"No, but how else am I going to get it into their systems without them knowing. Besides I did some research on them and it's not an instant sedative, it takes about five minutes before it reacts. So I'll have five minutes to feed them before I pass out. It'll be simple, I'll have Atem get the food and then distract Yami, before feeding them both at 11:00 pm. The drug lasts about an hour and a half, so when they're about to wake up, we start the prank. It's foolproof."
"You better hope this works, Yugi, otherwise there will be a few people who won't be very forgiving of you for wasting their time."
"And will you be one of them, Malik?"
"Nope, but Kaiba would be at the top of my list for very unhappy."
"We'll just dress up Jou and give him to him as a present. That should make him happy."
Malik rolled his eyes and shook his head as the waiter came back over. They ordered a variety of a dozen muffins and left a few minutes later with them. They walked back to the Palace and met up with Ryou, Jou, and Kaiba in his Game Room. Ryou showed them the configuration that he and Kaiba had set up. Yugi laughed at it, before asking how long it had been up. Kaiba told him just since 1:24 pm this afternoon. That was good, then they didn't see them. Good, very good.
"So, when do we start?" Jou asked.
"We? No, I don't want to get you guys in trouble, so I'm going to do this by myself." Yugi replied shaking his head.
"You can't." Ryou protested.
"Yes, I can. They're already going to be angry at me, and I don't want you guys to get in the line of fire of that."
"Well, I suppose that makes sense." Malik said mulling the idea around in his mind.
"Please, they'll know we had a hand in it. There is no way you could set up something like this all by yourself." Kaiba scoffed.
"True, but I'd rather not have you present when they finally locate me."
"So, you're still going to be hiding there?"
"Uh huh, they'll come here first. So the best spot would be the last one they'll look in."
"Good luck, Mutou." Kaiba said getting up and walking out. He came back a moment later, grabbed about four muffins, and Jou's collar before leaving again. Dragging Jou out, despite his protests.
"Right, well I need to go feed Marik. He's probably already wondering where I am, and why I haven't shown up yet. Then again, he might be out looking for me already." Malik said grabbing a couple of muffins and leaving as well.
Yugi looked over at Ryou. He was already looking at him, no more like glaring. Sighing, he motioned for him to leave, but Ryou's glare just increased as a faint pout came about his lips. Yugi shook his head, rotating a few of the cameras on the screen before him.
"Ryou, if you get hurt, Akeifa will never let me hear the end of it."
"And if you get hurt, we'll never hear the end of it." Ryou shot right back.
"Fine." Yugi said getting up, and picking up the computers too.
"I can stay?"
"Absolutely. Just ring that bell over there if you need anything, someone will come running to answer your call." Yugi said pointing to a new addition that had been added to the room recently. He would be lying if he said he hadn't abused it the same day it was put in. He still wasn't sure as to why, Yami had installed it, but whatever, it was here now.
"Wait, no, I meant with you." Ryou amended.
"No, have fun. There's plenty of things to do in here to occupy your time. Now, let's see, the meeting should be over by now."
"Yugi!"
"Bye, Ryou!" Yugi walked out the door and the world was a fast moving blur. He arrived at the throne room, and entered to indeed find it empty. He set up the computers, and checked them over one more time to make sure all the cameras were perfect before shutting them both down. If Kaiba and Ryou had set it up exactly as he asked, then the passwords to get back in would be as simple as one…two…three.

"Why tonight though?" Atem asked leaning against the bed frame.
"Because the guys and I are going to a concert tomorrow in Tokyo. I have to get up at 6:00 am, and the train leaves at 7:30 am. By the time I get back it'll be around midnight." Yugi explained.
"Alright." Yami said sitting down on the bed.
"Uh, wait, what about food for afterward?"
"Oh, right, I'll get it."
"No, you'll just come back with that soup from before. Atem, can you go get that thing that you got me that one time time?" Yugi asked making doe eyes at the other vampire. Atem smirked, shaking his head before leaving.
"Okay, now can we play that game again?" Yami asked trailing a finger up Yugi's leg.
"Sure if you can find the pieces." Yugi grinned.
"Easy, they're right over…there." He turned pointing to Yugi's desk. It was empty.
"Are you sure that's where you put it?"
"Maybe not. I'll go check the other room."
As soon as he was out of sight, Yugi took out the syringes and injected the sedative into his both of his arms. He quickly threw them away in the bathroom trashcan. He appeared back on the bed just in time, as a confused Yami came back in with the chessboard, and Atem with a potpie.
"No, Yami, no strip chess. You'll only lose again." Atem said shaking his head while putting the potpie down on Yugi's desk.
"Losing has rewarding benefits."
"Aren't you guys hungry?" Yugi asked stretching his neck a little.
"Anxious to feed us are we?" Atem asked.
"I'd be lying if I didn't say I missed the feeling of your teeth sinking into me last week." Yugi said looking down and pretending to be embarrassed.
"Mm, well hold still and relax, we'll take care of that." They said together. Yugi gasped and tensed for a second as they both bit him at the same time. He relaxed into it, though it did feel a little odd to have them drinking form him at the same time. The last time that they had done that, was when they had become mates. Atem was the first to pullout, Yami a second later.
"Yugi, your blood tasted a little off." Atem commented yawing. It was working.
"What's working?" Yami asked.
"Everything. For once, I'm getting my way in full, and there'll be nothing you can do to stop me. Whahahahaha!"
"You're acting weird."
"Must be cause I'm hungry." Yugi replied appearing at his desk and starting to eat the potpie.
When he turned around the two were out, asleep on the bed. Yugi walked over to them, and caressed Yami's face, and then Atem's. He'd never seen Atem asleep before. He looked so at ease, so serene, so…masculine. He had a straight nose, broad lips, and for once his forehead was smooth without any creases to disturb it. Yugi leant down, and kissed him ever so gently, before he left. He hastened to the throne room, where he reactivated the computers. He typed in the passwords for both, and waited.
It took a little longer than he expected before there was movement on the screen. When there was though, Yugi was quick to hit the play button. Music blasted throughout the room jolting them awake as they covered their sensitive ears. He sure hoped he hadn't busted any eardrums. Maybe he should have turned it down just a little bit, but really what good was a punishment without a little torture?
Atem found the speaker first, the one that was blasting Avril Lavinge's What the Hell. It was in pieces seconds later. Yugi waited until they moved out into the hall, but they didn't, at least not at first. Instead they moved about the room rifling through anything that looked as if it could be hiding something. Oh, he was so dead. He had thought that they would just follow the sounds straight to the chosen end game, but no, they wanted to find the source that had knocked them out in the first place.
Atem came out of the bathroom with the syringes, and Yami gave them a sad look. Yugi turned on Blah Blah Blah by Kesha in the hallway, trying to draw them out. It worked to an extent. It did draw them out into the hallway, but they took the syringes with them. Yugi turned off Kesha and started to play One Week by Barenaked Ladies. They followed the music, stopping when it did. Yugi was vaguely reminded of musical chairs, only they weren't fighting for a spot to sit.
Yugi wasn't getting as a rewarding satisfaction from this game as he thought he would, so he just turned off Bad Reputation by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and kept the music off. He shut down the computer that controlled the speakers that Kaiba had put up, but left the one with the cameras on. His friends had been right, this was a bad idea. He should have just remained mad, and then that would be it.
Instead he drugged them, and then tried to lead them on a goose chase. He placed his head down on his arms. He was such a horrible mate. Why did he have to be such a brat all the time? Did he not tell them that he had forgiven them that very first day? Some forgiveness, he had still been set on his idea, and now it was probably just going to lead to another row between them. He was a horribly selfish person.
Whilst Yugi was berating himself, he failed to realize that he had been found. That they had crossed the room and were standing on either side of him, waiting to be noticed. When it became apparent though, that that wasn't going to be happening, Atem reached down and lifted Yugi's head to face him. There was no anger on his face, just disappointment as he held out the syringes.
"These are some pretty powerful sedatives." He said. Yugi looked down and away.
"Look at me, Yugi. Why did you use them?" Atem's voice was powerful, one that demanded respect and expected it.
"I…I wanted to know what you looked like when you were asleep." He answered. He blinked, that answer…it was surprisingly…truthful.
"So why use it on me?" Yami asked squatting down to his level.
"I didn't want you to feel left out?"
"How kind of you." Atem said while Yami laughed rambunctiously at his answer.
"Stop it, Atem."
"Stop what?"
"Acting as if you're not mad. I know you are. You have to be, it just wouldn't make sense if you weren't."
"I assure you, I'm not mad. Disappointed? Yes. Mad? No."
"Stop it, just stop!" Yugi cried clutching his hair and looking away from him again. He instead looked down at the wooden table, following the path of the grains with his eyes.
"Yugi, we're not angry." Yami said putting his hands on Yugi's shoulders. Yugi shuddered away from the touch though. They should be, so why were they acting as if they weren't?
"Yugi."
He didn't know what it was, but something in Atem's tone made him look at the man. He and Yami were on the same side now, and both were kneeling before him, on one knee. Cupped in both of their hands, was a small velvet box. Yugi gulped, they weren't.
"Yugi Rida Mutou, will you do us the honor of joining us in our marriage? Of becoming our husband, and never part, but to stay with us for all of eternity?" they asked together. Like they had practiced over and over again to get it and the words just right.
"Why? Why now?" Yugi asked frowning and hoping they didn't confirm his feelings not yet turned into thoughts.
"Because we've been told several times that this is the best way to fix things. That when you get the person you love pregnant, out of wedlock, then you should get married to fix the problem." Atem explained.
"No." Yugi answered.
"Are you sure? Because your friends were pretty ada-." Yami frowned.
"I meant no, I won't marry you. I'm not going to force you into a something none of us are ready for. That's something that people do when they're scared that the one whom got them pregnant in the first place isn't going to stick around. I know you two will, so there's no reason for us to get married, okay? No, I won't do it. This is just too much, too much all at once." Yugi jumped up from his chair and paced in front of them.
"Okay, just calm down." The small box had vanished as Yami reached out for his left hand. Yugi yanked it away before Yami could even brush it.
"No! I can't plan both! I can't, I won't!" Yugi cried tears forming in his eyes, but he turned his back to them before they could fall. Arms wrapped around him from behind, holding him, as soothing words were whispered softly in his ear. Yugi found himself falling asleep in their embrace as the stress, turmoil, and heartache from the past half hour took its toll on him. One thought passed through his mind though, before he was out, his life was just one mistake after another.
Right, well someone asked if I know how many chapters I have left. I do actually. I plan on condensing every chapter into one month of Yugi's pregnancy, so get ready for some really long chapters. I was also asked if I abandoned this story, obviously not. Yes, there will be a sequel to this sequel. I just need to figure out a title. I'm updating gooh next, which I've been working on just as much as I have been this one, that's probably why it took so long. Then I'll be flat out working on my HP story. I'm hoping that with my new computer I can start busting out chapters again, like I used to. Note that this is the busy season for where I work, so my hours there will be longer, but I'm gonna devote a lot of my free time to this site. By the way, I need advice, does anyone know how to tell a guy that has never had any real friends how to be one? A proper one? I've tried everything, and nothing is sticking, so I was wondering if any of you had an idea I could use? Right, thank you to everyone who are/have following/favorited this story. Also, thank you for all the reviews Guest and User alike. Sorry it took so long to get this up. Please review and wish your Mother's a happy day. Midnight ;p
