Hi, it's been awhile no? I hope this super long chapter makes up for it. well, I won't keep you guys any longer. I do not own Yugioh, Red or OwnagePranks, enjoy! [YUGI, YAMI, and ATEM]

Chapter 44

Yugi sighed staring up at the ceiling. He had asked Ryou today if it was okay to talk to Bakura, but the weird thing was he said he didn't know where they were. Both Akeifa and Bakura were missing from the caves, and when he asked Silver where they were she said she couldn't tell him. They just up and disappeared on everyone over the weekend.

They weren't the only ones though, Yami and Atem had never come back from their baby classes, and Yugi was worried sick. He had tried to contact them through the mind link, but received nothing from their end. He probed their minds to find no barrier, so he knew they could hear him. So why weren't they responding?

He'd gone to school alone that morning, and saw Marik and asked where they were. He just blinked at Yugi and asked if they were missing. Seth had actually become worried, rushing from the building. He'd asked Isis when he had come home, and she said they were doing everything they could to locate them. For now though, he just needed to not worry, stress wasn't good for his young.

Not worry? How could he not worry? The Fathers of his unborn babes were missing. Nobody knew where they were or when they had gone missing. What if the Organization had gotten a hold of them, or worse, his sister? Yugi dived for his phone and flipped it open, pressing down the number eight and holding it. She picked up in two rings.

"Hello?"

"Where are they?"

"Who?"

"My mates!"

"Are they missing?"

"You don't know?" Yugi was almost in tears.

"Shh, shh, I'll go out on the streets and search for them. There is no vampire I can't find." She said before hanging up.

Yugi pushed his face into his pillow and just cried. Why couldn't anyone tell him where they were? Why weren't they answering him? What if they were dead? He couldn't raise these kids on his own, he knew he couldn't. He'd rather give them up then look at them and see Atem and Yami every day. Why would they leave? They had promised they wouldn't. That they would be here to help him take care of them. Always.

Yugi?

He shot up so fast, he had to fall back on the pillows because of his sudden head rush. He sat up more slowly this time, looking all around the room. He had heard him. He had heard Yami's voice call his name, but where was he?

Yugi.

Where are you?

We're…we're sorry we had to leave so suddenly. It was an emergency, but we couldn't do italone. We needed the werewolves help, specifically Akeifa and Bakura. We'll be home Friday. Tell Mahad he's not to leave your side until we return, okay? We know he hates babysitting, but we really need him to do this for us.

Where are you?

In Britain, specifically London.

You didn't even say goodbye.

We know. We're really sorry, Yugi, but it was so sudden, and we didn't have a spare moment to contact you until now.

What happened?

There was a major conflict between some vampires and werewolves. Then some Human Hunters got involved and now the whole thing is just one big jumbled mess of misunderstandings. Heba and another named Shadi is here though, they were sent up to help with the conflict. Between the six of us, we should be able to work it out. It seems, thatever since Heba threatened to quit if they continued to try to interfere with ourrelationship, that the Organization in Egypt has been more receptive to us than most.

The whole of Europe actually, is giving us a more warm welcome from the Hunters Organizations than we have come to expect from the Hunters in Japan.

Did they hear about what I did?

Yes.

And?

They said they were keeping their thoughts to themselves on that one. I could see pride shining in Heba's eyes though, and amusement in Shadi's. They both seem to find the situation amusing. Oh, they're coming back.

You have to go?

No, we can multitask, Heba says hi by the way.

You can tell him hi back. This isn't a full concentration thing?

Not yet it isn't. Wait until Akeifa comes back with Bakura, they're calling Ryou, then it will be again.

Can I abuse the mind link to entertain you?

You probably will anyway, so why would we even bother in telling you no?

Cause it's your favorite word?

Alright, no, you can't.

Kay…

Oh here they come, and no, Heba, we're not giving you Isis's number. Stop asking.

Yugi grinned, whipped out his phone and texted Heba her number. Isis was going to kill him, but he needed some entertainment to his week. Also, he needed someone to share in his misery.

Yugi! She's gonna kill you.

In several months she might be able to.

They howled with laughter. Yugi could hear and feel their joy coursing over the link. He grinned as Isis appeared in his doorway waving about her phone. Yugi shrugged at her, biting his bottom lip. She sighed, and came to sit on the bed next to him, drawing him into a hug. Yugi broke down crying again, as she just rubbed his back. Yami and Atem cooed words of comfort over the link, but nothing seemed to help him. He just continued right on crying until he fell asleep.

Yugi woke up the next morning to find Ryou curled up into his side. When had that happened? Yugi wrapped his arms around him though, and just pulled him closer. He fell back asleep, not even bothering to get up and turn off his alarm.

When he woke up next, Ryou was gone and Mahad was sitting on a chair by his bed reading a magazine about Hunters. Yugi sat up, a wet cold rag falling into his lap. Mahad shifted his eyes from the magazine to him, as he picked it up.

"You were running a fever, and Isis couldn't tame it with her magic so she asked Molly what to do. She wet a washcloth with cold water and put it on your forehead. We've been changing it every few hours since yesterday."

"Yesterday?" Yugi asked reaching up to his forehead to find it still hot.

"Yes, now lay back down, you're really sick, Yugi."

"No, I'm really stressed. If I become too stressed my body breaks down, and I become sick." Yugi explained softly as he lay back down and put the wet washcloth back on his forehead.

"Well, we called them up and left a message on their voicemail, but they've yet to get back to us. Which is odd, you'd think they'd be more worried about you." Mahad wondered out loud as he set the magazine down on the floor.

"Their phone is sitting on my desk, that's why." Yugi pointed to it.

"Well what use is it there?!" Mahad shouted.

"None. I can reach them through the link sometimes though."

"Fine, you tell them you're sick."

"Okay." Yugi said before letting off a hacking cough. Mahad jumped to his feet, hands up like he wanted to comfort him in some way, but didn't know how. So instead he turned and ran from the room, probably to get someone, maybe Molly, Isis's assistant. Yugi slumped back against the pillows, and prepared himself for an onslaught of reprimands.

Guys…I'm sick.

Silence rang in his mind. There was no response. They were probably just busy.

You're what?

The tone was seething, full of disbelief. Yugi squeezed his eyes shut. He heard Mahad coming back up the stairs.

I'm sick.

How?

Too much stress?

From what?

You really need to ask?

Sigh, this isn't good.

But you'll be home Friday, so it'll be okay. You can take care of me instead of leaving the job to these poor people.

Yugi, I know I said that…but it doesn't look like it anymore. This is going to take much longer than we originally thought. We'll be home as soon as we can though, I promise.

YOU'RE A LIAR!

Yugi, please.

No, I'm tired of your excuses, both of yours. I don't know what to do anymore. Don't you understand I need you to cope with all of the shit that's going on in my life right now? I can't do this without you.

Okay, is Mahad there?

Yeah.

Give him your phone and tell him to call Heba's number.

Yugi did as he was told. Mahad looked confused but did it anyway. He waited for someone to pick up. Once they did, he laughed at something, before his expression turned sober.

"I'm sorry, you want me to what? In his condition? I just don't think it's a bright idea is all. Your bond is what? So why the hell did you leave?! Of course you didn't, I mean why would you? Yeah, I'll do it, but I'm taking the private one. Because there is no way I'm putting him on a public one. Whatever, see you in couple of hours." Mahad shut the phone before looking at Yugi, and sighing. He pulled out Yugi's suitcase from under the bed, and filled it with clothes, and other things. Molly stood off to the side watching, until she finally asked what he thought he was doing.

"I'm taking him to them. The bond is really frayed, nearly broken. Now I don't know how a human will respond to a broken bond but I know how a vampire does, and it isn't good." Mahad explained as he wandered into the bathroom and back out again with Yugi's toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and hairbrush.

"I'm coming with you." She said her tone leaving no room for any arguments.

"Say what?"

"You heard me. He needs proper care, and seeing as none of you can give that it him, I have to go too. I'll be ready in 30 minutes."

"Whoa, no! I'm leaving now."

"No, you're leaving in 30 minutes." Molly glared before she left the room.

Mahad tsked as he zipped up Yugi's suitcase. He groaned sitting back onto the chair by the bed and re-opening the magazine. He shook his head after a second and threw it back on the ground.

"You know your sister gives me that same look all the time, must be a woman thing. And I must not have an immunity built up against it yet, because it works every time."

"My sister?"

"Well, I do still stalk her, Yugi."

"So do you know why she hasn't been reporting to the Head of her Organization?"

"I said I'm stalking her, not having lengthy conversations with her."

"Oh, right." Yugi turned his back on Mahad and lay on his side until another round of hacking coughs bubbled up out of him, as well as a tremendous growling noise from his stomach. Apparently he was hungry.

When Mahad brought him food though, just looking at it made him want to vomit. He closed his eyes wincing, as his stomach started to cramp up in pain. Something was placed at his lips, and smelling it Yugi discovered it to be cheese. He opened his mouth, chewed and swallowed it. A second later he was up and in the bathroom throwing up what felt like his organs, and blood, lots of blood.

Yugi barely got out of the bathroom before he collapsed on the floor. There was a thin trail of blood trailing out of his mouth and down his chin. He felt his breath stop for a second before start up again. It felt like someone was squeezing his lungs as he fought to breathe.

What was wrong with him? All of this couldn't be from stress. He had never been this sick from over stressing before. Maybe it was worse because he was pregnant? No that didn't make sense. He stopped breathing, and this time he couldn't get another gasp in.

His eyes bulged, as he tried reaching for Mahad, but the vampire had already picked him up and put him on his bed. He took a deep breath. What had that been about? What was different about this spot, and the floor? Yugi's nose was imbedded in the pillow, filling his nose with the scent of foreign spices, cinnamon, and peaches. He pressed his face in further, inhaling deeply.

"Alright, I'm ready." Molly said coming into the room.

"Go grab one of the King's and Queen's coats." Mahad ordered.

"Why?"

"Just do it!" he snapped.

"Alright, alright, geez."

Yugi heard her move out of the room and into the baby room. She came back in and threw two objects over the bed at Mahad. They never reached him. Yugi had snatched them out of the air so fast, Molly blinked, wondering if she had thrown anything at the vampire at all. She found the clothing items a second later, clutched in Yugi's arms like a lifeline.

"Alright, let's go." Mahad said scooping Yugi up in one arm, and grabbing the suitcase with a free hand.

"What are those for?"

"The bond Yugi shares with Atem and Yami, Atem thinks it's breaking."

"I don't understand, is that bad?"

"Does it look bad?" Mahad asked pointing at Yugi while throwing his suitcase into a trunk.

"I…yes."

"Okay then." He clambered into a backseat of a car and buckled Yugi up. He got out and slid into the front seat, Molly sliding into the passenger, before starting up the car and driving off.

It was a short drive to an airport where they got out, and found a few people already there and waiting for them. Yugi walked on his own this time, but he was still clutching those two coats like a lifeline. When the security people tried to take them away, he growled turning feral, like a vampire protecting its mate from a predator. They let him keep the coats, backing away from him. Mahad sighed, ushering him through the metal detector where it went off with blaring sirens and flashing lights. No one was willing to go near him though, so they just turned them off, waving them on.

Yugi boarded a private jet moments later and was set up in a nice cozy bed. Molly and Mahad sat in chairs facing him, watching him. Yugi lay on his side watching them, the coats clutched to him still. He was breathing in their intoxicating scent, much stronger on these items than it had been on the pillows. He couldn't smell peaches here on the coats though, but somehow that didn't bother him, the scents he needed were here. His eyes closed, as he focused in on those two scents alone, falling asleep at some point during the trip.

His eyes couldn't have been closed for more than two seconds before someone was tugging, no yanking, on the coats in his arms. He let out a warning growl, and someone laughed. His growl was responded with a hiss, making him open his eyes. He glared up at the silhouettes surrounded by light in front of him. One knelt down on one knee so he could distinguish them better.

"Welcome to London, Yugi." Atem said giving him a peck on the lips and giving the coats another yank. Yugi growled at him.

"I don't know Lover, he doesn't look all that broken to me." Yami commented rubbing the back of his head.

"He is, you should be able to feel his bond as well as ours."

"Well, I can't."

"Fine, I give up! You're impossible!"

"Try to envision a rope in your mind, Yami." Mahad murmured quietly from somewhere in the room.

"Uh, okay." Yami said. Yugi closed his eyes envisioning it too.

"Okay, now, you know where yours and Atem's bond is yes?" there was silence so Yugi imagined that he nodded.

"Reach for that, but also envision another rope underneath it. That would be yours, Atem's, and Yugi's bond. Can you see it?"

"No."

"Well, if he can't even see it, he's never going to feel it."

Yugi reached out for these ropes. He found one deep inside, somewhere around his heart area, that was as thick as a swinging rope. There was another just below it though. It was frayed, bent, and so thin, it felt like thread used to repair a tear in clothing. He metaphorically plucked it, and felt it reverberate throughout his entire being. He heard Atem gasp, and Yami shout in fear.

"Okay guys, five minutes is up." Heba's voice entered the room. Yugi opened his eyes to locate his cousin. He was standing in a doorway. Yugi tossed the coats on the ground, and ran at him, enveloping him in a hug.

"I've missed you cousin."

"Well, at least someone in this happy family has." He chuckled.

"Ah, so you're Yugi Mutou." A foreign voice said.

"Yugi meet Shadi and vice versa."

Shadi was dressed…weird. He had on a…dress, and a thing that people wrapped around their heads, he couldn't remember the name for it. Atem and Yami were howling with laughter behind him. Everyone was staring at them as if they had lost their minds. Yugi huffed, and started to walk out on the high balcony.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going?" Yami asked darting after him.

"To fix your problems because clearly you can't do it yourselves." Yugi answered in a haughty tone.

"Solving problems takes time. You can't just snap your fingers and expect it to be done." Atem scoffed.

"Watch me." Yugi said with narrowed eyes as he looked over the balcony to see werewolves, vampires, and Hunters all screaming at one another. Yugi took a deep breath, put two fingers in his mouth and whistled very loudly. Silenced reigned as one they all looked up at him.

"The Prince here thinks he can solve this problem better than any of us can. So why don't we let him give a go at it, hmm?" Atem asked smirking as he turned and walked to a seat and sitting in it. Yugi looked over at the other three and motioned for them to join him. Bakura and Akeifa were already sitting. Once all were, he turned back to the problem at hand.

"Listen up, I want Vampires on the right, Werewolves on the left, and Hunters in the middle. Once you're in position find a chair and sit in it, then we shall begin."

"Why should we listen to you?" someone asked.

"I said sit." Everyone scrambled to obey, the vampires moving the quickest of them all.

"That's why." Someone answered from the Hunter's ranks.

"Now, Hunters since you were last to join the party, do tell me why." Yugi said looking at them.

"Well, we don't really know what's going on. Basically, we were able to distinguish something about a deer, blood spillage, and crossed boundaries, but we haven't gotten any further than that." A woman answered. Yugi nodded and motioned for the werewolves to follow that up.

"Some of those vampires crossed onto our land and drank two of our deer dry!"

"Oh, is that all?"

"Of course you couldn't understand! You're in leagues with them!"

"Okay, why was this done?" Yugi asked the vampires.

"Our food sources were evacuated from the slums due to floods."

"Okay, and you didn't go with them why?"

"Uh, cause we don't know where they were evacuated to."

"That is your food, is it not?"

"Yeah."

"So why don't you know where it is at all times?"

"Don't spin this on us! It's not our fault!"

"No?"

"No!"

"Did you not keep track of your food sources during this evacuation?"

"Well, no, but-!"

"Did you not trespass on werewolf grounds and drink from their deer?"

"Yes, but-!"

"So whose fault is it for your poor judgment?"

"Uh…"

"Oh, I get it, of course it's the human's fault. After all they're to blame for everything that goes wrong, right?" Yugi asked with a small smile that dared them to agree with him and see what happened.

"No." someone answered wisely.

"Wise answer. So, here's what's going to happen. Those of you, whomever you are, who drank from the deer on the werewolves property will fetch two deer and deliver them unharmed to the werewolves. This will be your apology to them for taking the first two. Hunters, go home, you're not needed in this dispute, it's over anyway. Werewolves, let Akeifa and Bakura here know if you ever receive your deer. If you don't I will be back and there will be hell to pay. Vampires, after you deliver the deer go and find your food sources. They're probably looking for you anyway."

"Why would they?" someone asked rudely.

"Well, if you treat them as more than just a meal. As a friend perhaps, I can't imagine why they wouldn't be?"

"Tch, humans don't trust us, period."

"But they can! If you show them kindness, and comfort. If you show that you care for them, they can grow to trust you. I mean just look at me. By all rights I should be sitting with the Hunters, but I'm not. I found a way to look past my fear and trust vampires again. I even fell in love, and…and am pregnant with their young." Yugi said choking at the end of his speech.

"Aww, I guess the denial stage is over, huh?" Heba asked sounding genially disappointed. Yugi just rolled his eyes, not that Heba could see that.

"Really?" one of the Hunters asked. Yugi nodded.

"How did the big sis take that one?"

"She wanted to murder them naturally."

"He says it so casually." One Hunter said as they laughed.

"Yeah, like it's an everyday thing." Another said back.

"Alright, enough. Just go do as you were told." Atem said standing up and coming to Yugi's side. Yugi looked up at him and couldn't help but notice how clean his neck seemed to be. He reached up and poked at it.

"And why should we listen to you?" someone from the werewolf grouped asked.

"Because he came up with the idea, not me." Atem said pointing at Yugi while grabbing his hand and putting it at his side. He made the mistake then of letting go of the hand. Yugi reached up with both hands and started to rub his neck. Atem seized both hands and held his wrists together with one of his.

"Why is he so interested in your neck?" a Hunter asked.

"That is none of your business." Atem shouted pointing in the general direction of the voice, while trying to keep Yugi restrained. There was a shout of laughter from the vampires' area.

"Oh, my King, you and the Queen are so bad!"

"Yeah, there's only two ways to fix the mistake now."

"One being much quicker than the other."

"First option! You get to have sexual intercourse with him."

"Second option! You get to remain in constant contact with him."

"Yeah, and that doesn't mean a few phone calls either. That means you have to be with him every second of every day for the next six months."

"Even when he needs to use the loo, you have to be with him."

"The Queen too. You both have to."

"Right, cause if one of you leave him for even a moment, like say when he's asleep and he wakes up alone, than he could become really sick, probably like he is right now."

"And a sick human is never a good human."

"Wait, a moment." Yami interrupted coming up to wrap his arms around Yugi, helping Atem to restrain him.

"Yes, Queen?"

"How do you even know this? None of you are mated to humans."

"Uh, well, Tyler was actually the one to do all the research on it."

"Yeah, before he was offed by those Hunters."

"Tyler…?" one of the Hunters questioned.

"Tyler Hucksen." Someone responded.

"Oh." A few Hunters said.

"He was on our hit list."

"Really high up, too."

"We know, we saw his offenses. No one is blaming you for his death. It was probably better for the human population that he was gone. The ones in his neighborhood should be sleeping much easier now." a vampire sighed.

"Yeah, you'd think he would have been a better vampire, especially after that rule change."

"Hey, some people think that rules just don't apply to them."

"Yeah, but that rule change was definitely for the better." A Hunter said.

"I agree, it's definitely given us a better name among society." A vampire said.

"What rule change?" Yugi asked momentarily distracted from his mission of feeling up Atem's neck.

"The one they made for people like you." A vampire said. Yugi opened his mouth to ask what she meant, but the question was already answered as a memory came back to him.

"What is this new law?" A vampire asked.

"The new law proposes that if a vampire purposefully kills more than three humans, he or she is to be put on the execution list. How many that the vampire has killed determines their placement on the list." Mahad read off from a piece of paper in front of him.

"You're doing all this for him?" Dartz asked disgust obvious in his tone.

"No, we're doing it for humans who've suffered something similar to what he had to go through. We can't allow situations like this to go on. Not only does it give us a bad name, but it damages the trust humans have for our kind." Yami cut in glancing down at Yugi who immediately shifted his eyes away.

"Oh, right." Yugi said turning his head away with a sad look creeping into his eyes.

"Hey! There's no reason to get all depressed!" a vampire shouted.

"Yeah! What they did was for the better of every race!" A werewolf put in.

"Exactly! Now we have a way of actually reducing the loss of human lives! We don't have to wait until the vampires screw up, or we catch them in the act of already having drained a human life. If they kill more than three humans and are caught, than they're put on our lists." A Hunter jumped in.

"And depending on how many they've killed determines where they are on that list. Tyler Hucksen was in our top five, so his time was long overdue."

"Actually we'd been trying to catch him in the act for three generations now, but were never able to."

"Right, so when that law was put into effect last year, it was a giant blessing in disguise." A vampire said.

"At first no one was happy about it."

"Yeah, I think every vampire has killed over three humans by accident. We practice on things like cows, and deer first, to try to get the hang of taking blood from a living source. But even when you do switch to humans, sometimes you make mistakes, and the human dies."

"Right, but as long as you report it right away and don't try to hide it, then…" they trailed off obviously finding this hard explaining it to not just one human but many of them.

"Then the human's family can lay them down to rest, and they don't have to worry about where they are for the rest of their short lives, right?" Yugi asked trying to help him out.

"Right." He said sounding as if he was smiling slightly.

"It was only after we looked over the new law carefully, and discovered the words purposefully killed, that there was a sigh of relief going around."

"Yeah, we weren't all going to be murdered in our sleep."

"Which is actually the best time to kill a vampire." A Hunter added. Silence met his comment.

"Were just saying!" another threw in. The whole area seemed to grow with an awkward tension, so Yugi sighed, deciding to break it up.

"Okay, well as enlightening as this conversation has been I have school tomorrow. So, Hunters shoo, vampires go get those deer, and werewolves well I suppose you can just wait in your territory for them to be delivered." Yugi said in a bored but firm tone.

As one the huge group shrugged and got up to leave. Atem watched with a slack jaw. Yugi grinned and reached up to close it.

"You're gonna catch flies that way, Temmy." Yugi muttered.

He turned in Yami's arms, catching sight of Bakura leaning against Akeifa. Worming his way out of the hold, he went over to sit before him. At first he was ignored, but that is hard to do so when you're being stared at. Sighing, he faced the source of his annoyance.

"Yes, Yugi?"

"I have a question for you." He said looking down and rubbing his tummy.

"Uh huh?"

"How do you prepare for the…arrival?"

"Arrival? You mean of your young? Well, I presume that you'll have to buy a few things for them, I imagine it'll be much different than my own. After all, yours will have a more human like figure to them-"

"No, I mean how do you prepare yourself for the arrival? How do you make sure you're ready as a parent?"

"Oh, that. You don't. There is no preparation for it. You simply take it one day at a time, and if you make a mistake; well, you'll know for next time."

"What?" Yugi finally looked up at him.

"You can take all the classes, read all the books that you want. You can visit a thousand different websites. They won't help you though. You only truly learn from experience. All you can do is prepare a safe place for them to grow up in, and learn the rest as you go along."

"You mean like a trial and error?"

"You got it."

"This isn't your first litter is it?"

A dark sad look stole over Bakura's face. Akeifa wrapped an arm around his shoulders, pulling him in towards his chest, crushing his face there. Yugi sighed looking down, and to the side. Well, he just really smashed the nail on the head, straight into a thin pane of glass.

"I'm sorry." Yugi whispered.

"No, it's not your fault. You're just really…intuitive." Akeifa sighed rubbing Bakura's back.

Two arms wrapped around Yugi, one around his torso and the other his legs. He was lifted up into a bridal hold. Atem sighed, kissing his temple.

"Come on, let's get you some food." He said.

"I'm not hungry." Yugi muttered.

"Yes, I know, but you need to keep yourself healthy for the babes."

"Here, Yugi, have some runts." Heba offered. Yugi turned his head into Atem's chest. Just the thought of eating made him nauseous.

"Thanks, Heba." Yami said sounding as if he took the candy from him.

"He acted like that the last couple of days before you came back, too." Heba said. Yugi took his face out of Atem's chest to look over at him.

"Acted like what?" Atem asked.

"He wouldn't eat if left on his own, but in front of others…he looked like he was only forcing it down. I did a little research myself, and discovered that humans react differently to the bond than vampires do. I don't think it's just a matter of fixing it. You also have to maintain it, keep it healthy."

"Come on, Heba, we should probably go too." Shadi

"Maybe we rushed into this. It seems like everyone knows more about our bond than we do." Yami sighed, the candy hanging loosely from his hand.

"Yami…" Atem said.

"I mean, even Yugi found it, I can't even see it."

"It's wrapped around your heart." Yugi offered.

"Here, eat some of this." Yami said placing the box of candy on his stomach. He shoved his hands in his pockets and started to walk back to the back room.

"Yami." Quick as lightning Yugi grabbed his arm before he could move too far away.

"I'm just not good at this." He sounded close to tears.

"Come and see the London Eye with me. Both of you, it'll be fun."

"Yugi, we need to get back to Japan." Mahad said.

"Please, not even this one little thing? I'll eat whatever you put in front of me, promise."

"Alright, but just this one thing and then we're leaving." Atem consented kissing his temple again.

"Hey, you mind if we tag along? Bakura and I haven't had a proper date since the pups were born."

"Shadi and I have seen it a thousand times, I think we'll just head off." Heba shrugged.

"But you're still family." Yugi muttered.

"Thanks for the invite cuz, but we really do have to get back. You turned every Organization Headquarters into an uproar with that surprise interview of yours."

"It was actually quite amusing when we discovered where it came from too. Oh, our Head was so furious with Heba." Shadi started to laugh.

"Which was unfair, it wasn't like I did it."

"Ha ha ha, my partner here was put under lockdown for a couple of days."

"Sorry, Heba."

"Ah, don't be, they let me back out."

"After he swore not to encourage the rumors and false accusations."

"Friggin fun ruiners."

"How many branches know?"

"Oh, only the nine main ones. Let's see, there's Cairo, Hiroshima, Britain, Moscow, Ottawa, Monrovia, Elfin Cove, Nanyang, and Thiruvananthapuram. I despise saying that last one, it's such a mouthful."

"Yeah, and I think you slaughter it every time you try to say it." Shadi said smirking.

"Shut up, like you can do any better."

"Why only those ones?" Yugi asked.

"Because we could handle the news better. Well, most of them anyway, Japan is still taking the hit pretty hard. Then again it happened in their domain, so I guess it's to be expected. The rest of us are just dealing with rumors, not straight out truths."

"Hmm."

"Anyway, be good to my cousin, and have fun on your double date. See ya at the Gala." With those words both Shadi and Heba started to make their way out.

"A turban! That's what it's called!" Yugi shouted as they were passing through the doorway.

"What?" Shadi asked turning back around.

"The thing on your head, it's called a turban."

"Oh yeah, I definitely see the resemblance now." he nodded at Heba before walking out. Heba let out a small laugh before heading out after him.

"Here eat these." Atem said shaking the box of candy still in Yugi's lap.

"Yeah but-"

"Ah, you promised." Yami reminded.

"Yeah, after we went to see it." Yugi said looking down at the box. He saw that it was unopened and had the label of FBR-18 on it.

"We're still going to see it, just eat some of them, please." Atem almost begged.

"I…alright." Yugi sighed opening the box and shaking a few out. He popped them into his mouth without even looking. The nauseous feeling grew, but he didn't feel like he was going to be sick, he just felt nauseous.

"Good, now let's go see this Eye."

[Time skip]

Yugi looked out at all of London. No wonder they called this the London Eye, you could see it all from up here. It looked like it was wrapped up in splendor and laid out before him. He wondered as to why Ryou had even left? Why would anyone even want to?

He could feel them watching him warily, one their hands on his hip. He leaned away from the window and back into them, laying his head down onto their shoulder. It still didn't feel the same though. Something still felt off, wrong even. Like none of them wanted to be here and were instead forced to be. He wanted to run from the feeling, just run, and never look back.

"How're we going to fix this?" Yami asked his chest reverberating against Yugi's back. Yugi sighed, it was the question that was haunting them all. How to fix this.

"The ones who really want children never get pregnant, but the ones who don't always do. We've yet to figure out why this is."

The words, Isis's, just echoed in his head suddenly. He blinked, sitting straight up. Atem and Yami had been trying to get pregnant for 3000 years, and hadn't. They really wanted a kid. Yugi, he hadn't, and…wanted to bang his head against the glass on the window a couple of times.

"Don't even think about it." Atem warned.

"It's so simple, the ultimate birth control, so small and perfect." Yugi whispered.

"What is?" Yami asked. Yugi looked up at him, but Atem was giving him a look of curiosity too.

"We can fix this the easy way, and I promise you, I won't get pregnant again."

"No, we're not taking the risk." Atem shot down.

"But there isn't one. Isis gave me the answer to the mystery so long ago, I wonder as to why I never thought of it before."

"Answer to what mystery?" Yami asked.

"Yours and mine. There's no danger, Atem. I promise, I will not get pregnant. Please, just take me, both of you, at the same time." Yugi said climbing into his lap.

"You want us to double up on you?"

"No, not double up, at the same time I want you two in me."

"No, it'll be way too painful for you."

"Please, it's what my instincts are telling me you need to do. They're rarely wrong. Just take me."

"Uh, but not here, it would be too inappropriate." Atem said.

"Mmm, soon though, please." Yugi whispered nuzzling his neck with his nose before biting down hard.

"Agh, Yugi!"

[Time skip]

Yugi released with a half painful and half pleasured cry. Atem and Yami slowly slid out of him. Isis was going to kill them was their only thoughts. Yugi probed their bond with his mind, it was strengthening again, slowly weaving itself back into a slightly thicker rope. It would take more than just sex to probably get it to a swinging rope thickness like theirs, but Yugi was willing to try anything to get it to that state if they were.

"Where are those Runts? I'm hungry."

"No." Atem said immediately.

"Give'em!" Yugi demanded.

"You really want to lose your voice again?"

"Gimme the runts."

"No, I'm not giving in to you anymore."

"I think it's a good idea." Yami interrupted whatever it was Yugi had opened his mouth to say.

"What?" Atem asked.

"Well, we still need to discover just which one made him lose his voice, so…"

"I'd rather not know."

"Atem!"

"I'm serious, Yami, I don't-!"

He was cut off as Yugi got sick on his chest. Yugi covered his mouth looking away, as Atem just sat on his hips breathing deeply. And to think, if he hadn't forced Yami to take bottom, it would have been him Yugi had gotten sick on. Atem's eyes snapped open, pure annoyance in them as he climbed off of Yugi, slamming the bathroom door. Yugi lowered his hand from his mouth.

"So how about those Runts?"

"Heh, I'll get them, but we're dividing them by color." Yami replied sliding out from underneath Yugi.

"As long as I get to eat them, I'm okay with that."

"You know, we should really be giving you real food first."

"Baby steps, Yami, baby steps."

"Candy is not baby steps."

"Sure it is."

"No, a clear broth would be baby steps."

"I disagree."

"Of course you do." Yami said rolling his eyes as he grabbed a tray of uneaten food off of Yugi's desk. He put the entrées on the desk, and brought over the empty tray. He dumped the box out on it and divided the candy up by color. He then pulled one of each out and motioned for Yugi to eat them one by one. All the piles, plus the color green vanished from the tray.

"Do not suck down your food! And you promised to eat them one by one."

"No, you said you were dividing them by color. You never said I had to eat them like that too. I just thought you were being OCD about the thing."

"I'm gonna kill you."

"See, it can be said with love." Yugi said brushing his lips against Yami's.

"Atem's right, you are an imp."

"Ha ha ha, you're just now figuring this out?"

"No, I've had my suspicions for quite some time now." he said with narrowed eyes stroking an imaginary beard.

"You're funny, Yami."

"Oh yeah? Let's see how funny you find this!" Yami said proceeding to tickle him. He laughed for a moment, trying to fight him off, before it all came back up, and Yugi was much too late to try to stop it.

"Uh, I…it didn't…you see I…Yami?"

He just held up his hand to Yugi, palm out before joining Atem in the bathroom. Yugi sighed, what was wrong with him? He usually only got sick once a night, never had ever gotten sick twice.

"He get sick on you too?" he heard Atem ask.

"Yeah, but I think it was my fault." Yami responded.

"How so?"

"Well, we were messing around and I started to tickle him. I saw his eyes widen a second too late, and well, you see the outcome of it." He heard him spit into the sink.

Yugi grabbed one of the pillows from behind him and held it to his chest. He looked down at the runts again, and picked up the banana shaped one, before popping it into his mouth. If nothing happened within the next hour to hour and a half with the rest of these, then it was definitely the green ones that made him lose his voice.

"No! I'm not touching it! You wash it out of your hair yourself!" Atem yelled coming out of the bathroom and shutting the door behind him.

"Sorry." Yugi muttered.

"I know, Yugi. Wait, where are all the Runts?"

"On Yami."

"…serves him right."

"Atem?"

"Hm?"

"Why is it I can smell peaches on the pillow, but I couldn't smell it on yours and Yami's jackets?"

"Because that's your scent. It would be odd if you could smell it on jackets we haven't worn since before we met you." He explained climbing onto the bed behind him.

"Mine?"

"Yes, yours." Atem muttered slowly kissing down his neck. Yugi tilted it back, allowing him more access.

"But how can I smell that?"

"Through your nose naturally."

"Ha ha, very funny."

"How do you know you didn't just get yourself pregnant a second time?"

"Because I want kids, Atem."

"Pfft, now you want them. You didn't four months ago."

"Mmm, you still fail to understand the true meaning of those feelings."

"Not at all. Yami and I have been wanting children for millennia's. I understand wanting children perfectly fine."

"True, but I'm afraid that's what's standing in your way."

"What do you mean?"

"I'll leave you to discover it on your own."

"Hmph, are you hungry yet?"

"No."

"You need to eat. You promised you would."

"And I did."

"I do not consider two fruit roll-ups, two bites of chicken, and a gummy bear eating."

"It was something though!"

"Please, can you just try to eat the steak we had made for you? Or the lasagna? Hell, I would be happy if you just tried to eat the potatoes and macaroni."

Yugi looked over at the plates of food. They were all cold by now. He looked away, burying his face in Atem's neck. He sighed and pulled him closer.

"Maybe…if you heat them up."

"I can do that."

"Except, I don't want any of that."

"No? Then what do you want?"

"Um, pork covered in an apple type of sauce. Like my Grandpa makes."

"Like your Grandpa makes huh?"

"Yeah, he made the best apple sauce covered pork chops."

"So if we put applesauce on some pork chops, you'd eat it?"

"Don't be mean, we're talking about a serious food issue here."

"How about I get this recipe from your Grandfather then?"

"Well, I guess you could do that, but then I wouldn't have a reason to visit him."

"Oh ho, I see your true intentions now. Why can't you just say I want to visit my Grandpa?"

"Because then we'd probably be leaving before dinner."

"Hmm, well yes, but if we didn't, he'd make us sleepover. And he would probably separate us too."

"M'kay."

"What do you mean, okay?"

"Atem?"

"Yes, Yugi?"

"I'm thirsty."

"I'll get you some milk." He said trying to untangle their limbs so he could get up.

"No." Yugi replied his voice wavering as he clamped down on the vampire.

"Yugi…" he eased himself back down, kissing his temple, and running a hand through his hair.

"No."

"Alright, I'll stay. Hey, Habibi! Go get some milk for the human!"

"Are you nuts?! I still have pieces of candy in my hair! Ewwww!"

"But he's thirsty!"

"That's his problem! Make him get his own milk!"

"Actually, I want hot tea."

"Never mind, he wants tea."

"Yes, I heard." Yami growled coming out of the bathroom rubbing a towel through his hair.

"Please, Yami?" Yugi asked looking at him with his puppy dog eyes of doom.

"Eh, yeah, alright." He conceded throwing on a pair of pants and leaving.

"I'm sorry, Yami."

"So you say, but you'll probably do it again." He grumbled opening the door.

So don't tickle him anymore, and he won't be getting sick on you, literally.

Huff, like you're one to talk. You've done it too.

And received the same effects as you did. Was your mouth open?

No, thank Ra.

Damn!

Yours was?

Yes!

And you wanted me to share in this disgusting experience why?

Because I love you?

Pfft, yeah right.

Are you making my tea?

Yes, Yugi.

Is it Chai?

What?

Is it Chai?

Uh…no.

It has to be Chai.

Why?

Cause I want Chai tea.

Fine, I'll remake your stupid tea.

Don't forget the sugar and milk.

Yeah yeah.

After about five minutes he was back with the cup of Chai tea. Yugi was unsatisfied though, telling him it was too sweet. That he wanted to taste the spices in it, and it was the wrong Chai brand too. He liked the black tea with exotic spices. Yami mumbled that he wondered why as he left to go fix it correctly. It was at around this time that Yugi lost his voice too, so bananas it was. It took about six tries, but Yami finally got it right, only to be told he didn't want it anymore. Yami almost threw the cup at the wall, but Atem snatched it from him before it could launch in that direction.

"Now, now, no need to get upset. He's just being his usual pregnant self."

"Ungrateful little pet."

"Yami!"

Yugi sat there stunned. He just stared wide eyed at the sheets on the bed as Yami and Atem argued back and forth. Slowly though, he reached out and took the cup of still warm tea from Atem. Atem let it go without even thinking about it. He downed it in one gulp, before setting it down on one of the bedside tables. He then got up and went over to his desk to work on his homework that he had been ignoring for the past couple of days. When he finished it, he climbed into bed and fell asleep, without even saying goodnight. It didn't matter though, they were still arguing back and forth anyway.

"The only thing you humans are good for is being a vampire's pet."

"What does that mean?"

"You know what a pet is don't you?"

"Yes, it's an animal owned by a human. I'm not an animal. I'm your boyfriend and food source."

"Yeah, right, as if I'd ever be in a relationship with you!"

"What are you talking about, Dilan?"

"You're my pet, Yugi. I clothe you, bathe you, feed you, take care of you, and I make sure you have a roof over your head."

"Yeah, you do, but so does a parent, and I don't ever hear my Grandpa calling me a pet."

"I'm hardly your parent."

"Well, at least we agree on something. You know what? I'm sick of this! I don't have to put with you! We're done, Dilan!"

"Are you trying to break up with me?"

"No, I'm not trying, I am! We're through! From now on, I'm just you're food source. Don't ever come near me again, except for on Saturday mornings. That's the only time I want to see you."

He started to walk away until he heard an angry yell from behind him. He turned in time to see Sarugaki lunge at him. He jumped to the side and ran towards the door, he knew he wouldn't make it, but he was going to try. He reached the door, surprisingly, and threw it open before running out and down the stairs. He ran into Malik who looked like he was about to call up to the apartment, they left together. Yugi looked up once at the window where he knew Sarugaki would be. He was glaring down at them, with a nasty sneer on his face, it clearly said hell was only beginning for him. There would definitely be more to come. Yugi sighed, what had he gotten himself into?

Yugi jolted awake in bed. He was breathing and sweating heavily. He'd forgotten about that, as buried as it was under all the pain, fear, and grief. He had forgotten that he had attempted to get out of it before it was too late. He hadn't succeeded, obviously, but he had tried. That had to count for something, right?

Arms snaked around his middle, pulling him swiftly into someone's chest. He couldn't see who it was, only that they had no shirt on, but he could definitely tell from the chest that it was Yami. He wasn't sure he wanted to be around the man right now. Especially after what he had called him. He placed a flat palm on his chest, preparing to push away.

"I'm sorry." Yami whispered.

"Eh, what?"

"I shouldn't have said that yesterday. I was upset, and I spoke without thinking can you forgive me?"

"Yeah, I forgive you."

"Oh, thank goodness."

"We can't bring these babies into a family full of turmoil."

"Oh, that's why you-"

"Which is why I think we should go have a heart to heart with…Saki."

"Not even with a ten foot pole."

"Yami!"

"No, you're Grandpa, wanna talk with him? Fine, I can handle that. Saki-ura, no way in hell."

"But-where's Atem?" Yugi asked looking around just now noticing the older vampire's lack of presence.

"Sigh, he's talking with Mahad at the bottom of the stairs."

"Ooo, want to listen in?"

"No. You should be sleeping, it's four am."

"Okay, but if I fall asleep now…I might dream of you and him dressed up as cute baby animals." Yugi said drawing circular patterns on the blankets with his finger. Yami let out a noise that sounded like a purring growl. Yugi pressed his lips together to prevent himself from laughing.

"I'm just saying, that if you're using this 'vacation time' to stalk his sister, you're going to be wasting your time." Atem was saying coming up the stairs.

"How so?" Mahad asked back.

"Not even the Organization knows where she is, and you think you can find her?"

"You should know that a vampire always knows where his prey is at."

"She's not supposed to be your prey!"

"Regardless, I'll find her."

"Yeah, whatever." The door started to open.

"Yami, I was sleeping. What was that for?" Yugi whined rubbing his eye.

"Uh!" Yami complained mouth dropping at Yugi's accusation.

"You guys are ridiculous." Atem said shaking his head and sitting down on the bed.

"Ateeeem, Yami woke me up." Yugi complained pulling on his arm.

"I did not! He woke up on his own!" Yami defended.

"It's way too early for this. Both of you, just go back to sleep."

"I never was."

"I don't care. Mahad is taking off for two weeks, and we have to go see Yugi's Grandpa sometime this month. Too much is going on."

"He wants to settle this dispute with his Saki too."

"That's nice, sure, we'll do that too."

"Someone is sleepy I think."

"Wait, what!? You want to talk to your sister?! Are you nuts!?"

"Maybe, a little. Oh! I was working on Kaiba's Valedictorian speech last night. Do you want to hear it?" Yugi asked shooting over to his desk.

"Yugi, why do you want to talk to your sister?"

"Well, to be honest, I want to know why the Head of her Organization doesn't know what she's up to. Why hasn't she reported into them for the past couple of months? Why did she stop right around the time that I got pregnant? My sister isn't scared of anything, least of all her Head, so…why?"

"She might have been protecting you." Atem said.

"Yeah right, she's more interested in her career. So…my speech?"

"Later, ce'mere." Yami said. Yugi sighed putting it down before walking over to him.

"Yes?"

"You should really get more sleep before we have to get ready for school."

"But I'm not sleepy."

"For the babies?"

"On one condition."

"Yes?" Atem asked.

"You both admit to and never deny again that I'm having twins."

"Nope. That's not going to happen." They said at the same time.

"Fine! Than you can sleep by yourselves!" Yugi said marching into the Ruby room and shutting the door. He came back out a moment later head bowed.

"I thought we were sleeping by ourselves?" Yami asked.

"Shut up and scoot over." Yugi mumbled shoving him over next to Atem and lying down. Yami made a complaint, but was shushed by Atem. This already felt as if it was going to be an interesting month, and they were only in the first week.

[Time skip]

"Sure, but why were you curled up in my side the other day?" Yugi asked Ryou. They were chilling under their favorite tree. It was beautiful day, and they had all decided to enjoy their morning before school started outside.

"Well, because you fell asleep crying. And Yugi, even asleep you have the grip of steel. I couldn't break free, and every time I tried, you'd growl at me." Ryou said shaking his head.

"Sorry."

"No, I don't blame you. I kind of felt abandoned too."

"What about now?" Yugi asked grinning at Akeifa and Bakura. They had Ryou wrapped so tightly up in their arms, it was a wonder how he was still alive and breathing.

"Now? I feel like I did when I first met them. Like their lost puppies and I'm their master. They must follow me around, or else they'll get lost."

"Whatever makes you happy, Ry-Ry." Bakura said kissing his neck. Ryou blushed, as Yugi and Malik snickered at the display. Oh, how it brought back the memories.

"So, have you started on it yet, Yugi?"

"On what, Malik?"

"Kaiba's speech."

"Oh, yeah. Don't worry, it'll definitely be better than last years. It'll be unforgettable!"

"You're not going to make us sit through some long boring speech? One that triumphs over even the length of last year's Valedictorian speech are you?" Ryou asked grinning nervously.

"The poor and unfortunate Class of 2014." Jou said shaking his head.

"I can still hear the misery from the back row, even now." Otogi sighed shaking his head.

"What are talking about? You weren't even there." Bakura frowned.

"No, but rumors from underclassmen who had seniors for siblings were groaning about it."

"They said the ceremony was four hours long, and the Valedictorian's speech two and a half. Ah, trumping that is going to be easy."

"Ha ha ha, we're doomed."

"Wait, are they going to graduate?" Jou asked pointing at Atem, Yami, Seth, and Marik.

"Well, Marik has been with us for three years, so I think that counts enough to hold a diploma." Malik said laying his head down on said vampires knee.

"They didn't exactly transfer here…" Ryou said slowly.

"Did they ever enroll? I mean, did they sign up for schooling? Or did they just hypnotize people into giving them those schedules?"

"Yeah, I mean it was kind of late to be switching schools. Two months before the year is out."

"Do they even need one?"

"Well, they've survived this long without one, so I suppose not. But taking all those classes, it seems like a waste now, doesn't it?"

"Don't you just love it when you're talked about like you're not even here?" Seth asked looking at his King and Queen.

"Yes, I guess it does, but now I'm wondering something else."

"Yeah?"

"Oh yeah, it's wonderful." Atem agreed.

"How do you shut up a vampire?"

"So what should we do abo-mm!" he was cut off suddenly as Yugi turned away from Ryou, grabbed the front of his shirt pulling him down to his level and planting a kiss on his lips. Before Yami could even respond, Yugi had pulled away.

"That's how, Ryou."

"Pa-the-tic." Atem said looking at Yami while smirking.

"Interesting methods."

"So, do you think you're going to pass Home Ec.?" Jou asked.

"Oh yeah! Like you could do any better!"

"Yeah, Eliza is going to help me make a pie. I told her I could do it on my own, but she just gave me this look that said 'not in my kitchen you won't.'"

"Can we help?" Malik asked.

"I don't know, can you cook?"

"A hell of a lot better than you!"

"Watch and learn." Atem said leaning down towards Yugi. Yugi, almost unconsciously it seemed, cut him off though by placing his hand on his mouth and shoving him away.

"Fine, I guess you can help than." Yugi said like it was a big inconvenience to him.

"So what am I supposed to be learning again?" Yami asked while trying not to laugh at Atem's affronted expression.

"Shut up! Come on guys, the bell just rang, we need to get back." he said getting up.

"Or we can pull a Yugi and just skip the rest of the day." Ryou suggested.

"Or week, ya know, whatever." Jou added.

Yugi smacked Malik upside the back of the head. He couldn't reach the other two. Ryou's head was being blocked by both Akeifa and Bakura, and Jou was too far away.

"Hey! I didn't say anything!"

"Yeah, but I can reach your head. I can't get at theirs."

"Well then how about I reach your neck."

"Ah! No!" Yugi laughed vanishing only to reappear over by the doors leading into the school.

"That's cheating!" Malik complained running after him. Yugi simply stuck his tongue out as he headed into the building.

"Using your speed in an advantageous way is cheating, Yugi." Atem said appearing at his side.

"Look who's calling the kettle black." Yugi said back rolling his eyes.

"Huh?"

"Never mind, and if I have a faster speed, why shouldn't I use it?"

"Cause it's not nice to your friends who are so much slower than you."

"Tch, never stopped you…or Yami!"

"Yes, well, we're vampires, you on the other hand are not."

"So?"

"So using your gift on your friends is cheating."

"And we've decided that you shouldn't do it anymore." Yami added.

"Okay, well I've decided that I'm not feeding you this Sunday. See how that works." Yugi said smiling before skipping ahead, only to stop, take a deep breath and walk towards the door to their next class. Skipping was too exerting with a growing belly, he didn't think he'd be able to do it anymore. At least not while pregnant that was.

"Is skipping too much for you to handle, Yugi?" Atem asked sitting down in the seat next to him.

"Yeah, a bit."

"If you want, we could carry you home." Yami suggested.

"Yeah, that sounds good. I want tea." Yugi sighed placing his head down on his arms.

"You get it."

"No way, that's your job. After all, Yami, you and only you can make it perfectly."

"Oh, I don't think so. I believe that after eight or so tries, you'd make it perfectly too. Just in time for him not to want it anymore."

"Details."

"And a banana."

"Seriously?" Yami asked.

"Yeah, I want tea and a banana."

"You get it."

"No, you get it."

"No. You're errand boy, not me.'

"Errand boy?"

"Well, you do like running around to get him the things he wants."

"Only cause he makes that creepily scary face. The one that demands obedience."

"So get him his tea and banana!"

"No! Fetch it yourself1"

"Wow, I feel so loved right now." Yugi interrupted whatever it was that Yami was about to say.

"Shut up and go to sleep."

"Kay."

"Wait, no, I didn't mean…" it was too late, he was already out cold.

[Time skip]

Yugi woke up to the smell of bananas, probably because one was being waved under his nose. What were they trying to do? Make a smelling salt out of it? He opened his mouth and took a bite out of it.

"Oh Ra, the sleeping dead is finally up." Yami exclaimed.

"Really? How did you do it?" Atem asked.

"I started to wave the banana he wanted earlier under his nose."

"Go figure, he wakes up for real food, not just talk of it."

Yugi took the banana out of Yami's hands, and started to munch on it. It really made him want roast beef. The type of roast beef he ate the first time they ever fed him. The type that melted on his tongue and tasted like he had died and gone to heaven. Oh, wait, did they get all his missing work? He really needed to catch up, and work on making a pie that would be passable by his home ec teacher's standards. Hmm, what else?

"Yugi, slow your thoughts down, we can barely keep up." Atem sighed.

"Who said you were ever supposed to?"

"Yes, we got all of your missing work." Yami answered lazily.

"Really? Where?"

"Over here."

"Ooo, something to do!" Yugi exclaimed throwing the banana peel in a random direction. He bolted to his desk, pushing Atem out of his chair in the process so he could sit down.

"Is this how you're going to teach our kids to behave?"

"Naw, I'll have Koneko teach them manners."

"Awesome, which means they'll hiss at Atem whenever he walks by." Yami laughed.

"Oh, shut up." He said standing up from the ground.

"He he, I'll get the roast beef, you go to that meeting we were supposed to be at two hours ago."

"What, you're not going to join me?"

"And leave Yugi up here all by himself? Do I really look that cruel to you?"

Atem rolled his eyes, he leaned down to kiss Yugi's cheek only to find him already watching the two of them. His pencil was paused on the page, his finger pointing to a problem in his book, as he watched them out of the corners of his eyes. Listening intently to their entire conversation.

"Work, Yugi, you really are behind on your work." He kissed his cheek and then left. Yami followed suit, but Yugi knew he would be back.

He looked at his Physics homework, before sighing and taking out the Graduation speech again. He wrote a few more lines for it, before sitting back, satisfied. It was definitely going to trump last years in length. All Kaiba had to do was memorize it, and he act out offended. Oh, it was going to be perfect. Hearing Yami come back up the stairs, he quickly shoved it away and quickly did three problems of his homework, before slowly working on the fourth.

"Uh, what were all those sounds I just heard?" Yami asked coming through the door with a tray of food. Yugi shrugged.

"Do you still want this roast beef, or has the craving for it passed?"

"It wasn't a craving, just a want, so yes, it's still present."

"Okay, take a break."

"I just started!"

"And eat it while it's still hot."

"Well, can't say no to that."

He pushed away from his desk and went over to sit on the bed. He slowly ate the roast beef, enjoying its tender taste, and how it melted on his tongue, sliding down his throat. The euphoria of it was just too hard to describe.

Yugi, knock it off. You're making me hungry, and I can't even eat human food.

But it's so good.

I don't care, cut it out.

Fine.

Yugi sighed and ate the rest of his roast beef in peace, before returning to his desk to do his work. Looking over the workload before him, he knew it would probably take a few days to complete, but he was still going to try to get most of it done tonight. Looking over his shoulder briefly, as he flipped to the next chapter of his Physics, he saw that Yami was gone. Figures, he was a worst babysitter than Mahad.

"I am not. I was simply putting the empty tray down in the hallway." Yami said closing the door.

"Why not take it back to the kitchens?"

"Too far."

"You're a vampire, I doubt anything is too far for you."

"America is too far."

"Can't swim through an entire ocean huh?"

"No, vampires do get worn out you know."

"Yeah, I know, I've seen it."

"Hm, you have haven't you?"

"I don't think it's a common trait of vampires though."

"To get worn out?"

"No, to let their guards-" down enough so that they can become worn out.

"Hey! What happened to your voice?"

The banana. But I thought artificial flavors and real flavors were supposed to be separate.

"They are."

So then why have I…

"I don't know."

Maybe it's different for pregnancies. Maybe they wrap the one flavor up into one. Artificial and real. I've had bananas before though, so maybe this is one of the things I can't eat while pregnant. First chocolate and now bananas. Geez, what's next? Ice cream?

Okay, I'm getting a one sided conversation here, care to join in, Yami? Mentally I mean.

"Yes."

Ha ha ha ha!

What's so funny?

Yami is.

Why? Why is he so funny?

"Because I am the King of Amusement." He said flopping down onto the bed and winking at Yugi.

Yugi started to laugh so hard at the display, that he fell out of his chair. Yami shot up, worried for a moment, but when it appeared that Yugi was okay, he relaxed back onto the bed. Yugi's laughter echoed in their minds as he held his sides, they hurt so much from the silent laughter. When he had finally calmed down, he climbed back into his seat.

Okay, breaks over, I need to get back to work.

He finished up his Physics and moved onto his English assignment. A 20 page research paper about the dangers of drunk driving. He was in so much trouble. He hadn't even started yet, and it was due at the end of the month. Pulling out his computer he got to work.

It was rolling around 1:00 am when his eyes started to droop, and Atem still wasn't back yet. He yawned, rubbing at his tired eyes, he rested his head down on one hand, and just messed around with the mouse, until a pair of arms pulled him out of the chair. He leaned his head on their shoulder without even thinking about it, breathing in a scent of exotic spices.

"You and Yami are hopeless." Atem chuckled.

"Why's that?"

"He was supposed to watch you, and make sure you didn't overdo it on your studies. Instead he's over there conked out on the bed."

"Sounds good."

"Uh huh, I'm sure it does." He tucked him into bed and climbed in next to him. Yugi kissed him on the cheek and fell asleep, never seeing the startled expression on his face before he smiled, and just watched the two of them whilst they slept.

[Time skip]

Yugi yawned, and glanced at the door again. He looked at the clock, 3:00 am. They were supposed to be done with that meeting four hours ago. This was why he really needed to attend them, things actually got done. Stretching, he decided to give up, and just sleep on one of the teddy bears. Yeah, they didn't make comfy beds, but it was better than sleeping with those two liars.

He walked over to the bed, yanked the covers off and dragged them into the baby room. He dragged the teddy bear down, and then laid on its tummy, his head laying on its arm. He closed his eyes, and they couldn't have been shut for more than a moment when he heard the whispering.

"Do you think he's mad?"

"It's six in the morning, not eleven at night. What do you think?"

"Maybe a little bit."

"I still have a half hour of sleep to enjoy. Shut up."

"So you're awake?"

Yugi opened his eyes just wide enough to locate them, and glare.

"We're sorry?" Atem tried with a halfhearted smile. It looked more like a grimace.

"Yeah, I know." Yugi sneered throwing the covers over his head so he wouldn't have to look at them.

"So, um, how much farther did you get on that English paper?"

"Half of it is done."

"Well, that's good."

"It's due in two weeks, Yami, it's going to look like I barely tried."

"Well, you could always say you've been distracted."

"That's a very poor excuse! How dare you suggest it!" Yugi shot back up looking highly offended.

"Yes, Yami, how dare you? No matter how true it may be, it's still a horrible excuse."

Yugi growled, picking up the blanket he threw it at the two of them. Marching past, he sat back at his desk and gathered up all the homework that was due for today, and the days before them. After putting it in his bag, he started to get ready for school, he was coming out of the bathroom while brushing his teeth, when he noticed that they hadn't even started yet.

You going with me, or not?

Not?

Why?

We're playing hooky?

Oh no you're not!

But Yugi!

Don't you Yugi me. You're attending classes, and that's final. Tomorrow is a Saturday, you can play hooky from your duties than. Actually, this might be a good time to tell you that we're going minivan shopping.

"What?" Atem asked.

Well, we need a baby appropriate vehicle for the children. A truck is not it.

Does this mean we're getting rid of the truck?

No, we're simply buying another vehicle that won't be used for when we go on dates together. Now get ready for school, we've got a big weekend ahead of us.

Yugi, we do not need two vehicles.

Oh, would you rather we get a Buick or Honda?

You're not listening.

Neither are you, get your uniform on.

We're not going, and there's no way you're going to make us.

[Time skip]

"I thought you two were going to play hooky?" Marik asked as the three of them sat down.

"Well, we forgot about one tiny little detail." Yami said.

"What's that?"

"He's our walking, talking, and breathing blood bag, and at the moment he can fight us off and win."

"In other words, if you have unhappy food you don't eat." Seth grinned.

"Well, what about you two? Weren't you playing hooky too?"

"Uh, well, he promised me sex if I went."

"And I was told it wasn't senior skip day. That that was last week. Therefore I was going to school. Plus, I wanted to graduate, right?"

"When is their graduation?"

"June first, and then we're out of school officially on the third." Yugi answered.

"Really? That soon?"

"That soon."

"Damn." Yami cursed.

"What?"

"Well, we didn't think you got off until the 5th or 6th of June. Guess we'll have to move up our plans."

"You made plans for summer?"

"Yes?"

"Well, what a coincidence, so did we!"

"We?"

"Yes, the boys and I have made up a summer planning chart." Ryou said excitedly.

"Summer planning chart?" Akeifa asked looking scared.

"Yeah, you know, the one we've been working on since freshman year?"

"Oh, crap, no, not that one."

"Yes, that one."

"I thought you burned that." Kaiba said in a whisper directed at Bakura.

"He must have had copies."

"Jou, you're not going on that trip."

"You don't control me rich boy! I'll go wherever I please and do whatever I want!"

"Wait, what are we missing?" Yami asked.

"This whole plan of theirs doesn't include any of us."

"Well, it could, if you'd just donate some money, it could."

"Done!" all the semes but Kaiba said.

"I can't take that much time off of work."

"That's fine, this'll give Jou and I more time to get to know one another." Seth said pulling said werewolf into his arms.

"I have no choice it seems. I shall go."

"No computer." Malik said.

"No deal."

"No electronics."

"No deal."

"This a relaxation trip, and you can't relax if you're constantly checking your stocks."

"How about a deal?" Jou asked.

"What kind?'

"I look after his handheld, and only let him handle it at night?"

"Hmm, I guess that'll work. But you need to promise to have nerves of steel, Jou."

"I always have nerves of steel."

"February 2, 2013." Yugi said immediately.

"That was different…"

"Uh huh."

"Uh, guys, not to be a stick in the mud or anything, but we're really late to our next class." Ryou pointed out.

They scattered, like leaves in the wind, to their classes. Yugi gave the Sensei an apologetic excuse before sitting down in his assigned seat. He stared out the window, how was he going to tell his friends that he didn't think he'd be up to 20 countries in three months? He'd be heavily pregnant, and he just wasn't sure how that would affect his traveling. For all he knew, the kids could come three months early.

20 countries? Really?

Uh, yeah, all the places we want to visit before we head back into at least four more years of schooling.

Yugi, we know you want to become a high school math teacher, but why?

I love math, and I want to teach calculus. I believe everyone can learn it without any difficulties if they have the right teacher teaching them. I want make sure no one can fail the subject. Especially on the curve. It's easy to learn if you have the right method of learning it, so yeah, that's why I want to become a teacher.

Isn't calculus taught at a university level?

Okay, so pre-calc, but still, students can take AP Calc.

Like you?

Yep!

What about your friends? What do they want to go in?

Well, Jou wants to be a chef. Ryou a photographer. Malik wants to be a lawyer. Rebecca wants to go into medicine, so she can to try to find a way to make vampire's human medicines more…tasteful. Otogi is going into gaming, and is actually hoping to become an apprentice to my family's gaming industries. And Penny wants to become a professional journalist.

"Mutou? The answer?"

"An object in motion will stay in motion unless stopped by an outside force." Yugi answered with only one glance at the white board.

"Hm, so you were paying attention." He continued on with the lesson, picking on a student sleeping in the back.

Yugi grinned slightly, his hand moving down to his belly. He rubbed it absent mindedly. He was getting big, slowly, but by the time his birthday rolled around, he knew he would be huge. He found it hard to believe he had only just met them little over a year ago. So much had happened since then. They were already into the second week of May. Next two weeks would be finals, graduation, and then that was it. High School would be over. His friends would go on their worldwide vacation, and then they'd be parting ways. He sniffed, his eyes welling up with tears, and just started to bawl in class.

"Uh, I didn't think I was assigning that much homework. You'll still have time to study for your finals, promise." Their sensei said looking frazzled. Everyone looked over at him as he just continued to cry.

"Yugi?" Atem asked placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Mutou? Why're you crying?"

"It's all ending."

"What is?"

"High School is ending soon, and then everyone is going to be going their separate ways. It's so saaaaad."

"Hormones!" someone sang. People in the class started to laugh as their sensei shook his head.

"Oh, what are we going to do with you?" Yami asked pulling him into his lap.

"Right, well, start on your homework assignment, and Mutou, I'm still waiting on the last three from you."

"I don't want to hand them in anymoooore."

"Why not? Are they done?"

"Yeah, they're in his bag, I'll get'em." Atem said pulling Yugi's bag towards him and digging around for the right folder.

"The sooner I turn them in, the sooner school ends."

"You know, most people are happy to get out of high school. It represents the next big step in your life."

"I don't wanna take another big step in life."

"Here." Atem handed him the three late assignments, plus the two that were assigned recently.

"Thank you. I'd ask you where yours was, but I know I'd just be wasting my time."

"We weren't planning on graduating anyway. We thought we'd just sit in the audience, and cheer him on."

"Not many older vampires let their humans go to college. What swayed your decision?"

"We were slowly losing something precious. If we had continued to stand in the way, we would have lost it completely. We still almost did."

"Hm, you seem to have a good sense about you. Perhaps you should share it with some of the others from your race."

"The only thing I'm concerned about when it comes to the human race is the surplus of them. How a vampire treats their human is beyond my control. The most I can control is how that human is treated. We have laws in place to protect humans. But they can only do so much. Most vampires see college as hazardous place, and really, can you blame us?"

"What do you find so hazardous about it?"

"Parties, guys with no consciousness, other vampires, but mostly those frat parties. Do you know how many humans a year die from too much consumption of alcohol?

"No, but I have a feeling you can give me a number?"

"More than 1800."

"I can see your concern. The vampire who didn't take good care of their human, would then have to wait six months before finding another food source."

"Mm-hm, but we can't follow him to college. It's an unwritten rule by all vampires that we don't go to every class with them like we do when they're in high school, or even middle school."

"You take food sources at that young an age?"

"Sometimes, it's rare, but yeah, sometimes it happens."

"Why do you travel from class to class with them?"

"It sets up boundaries for other vampires, and we need to build a steady relationship with our food source. If the relationship is unstable, then the human will either hate or fear the vampire that marked them, sometimes both. We've seen it before, experienced it even. It's not good, for either party."

"Well, if you marked them against their will, I can see how they would be resentful of that."

"Most markings, the initial one, are against the will of the human."

"Was his?"

"In my top ten of horribly experienced first markings."

"Doesn't surprise me."

"We didn't understand until he explained Sarugaki's and his history. We felt like villains once we'd learned of it though. We should have been there for him. If we'd just marked him when he was eight, instead of waiting, we could have prevented it."

"Eight!? That's a bit young, even by your standards, isn't it?"

"Not under the circumstances it wasn't."

"Really? What kind of circumstances would make it okay to mark an eight years old?"

"We found him when he was an infant, even then, his blood had a sweet alluring scent to it. It was more than that, though, he was a perfect match for us."

"You could tell that when he was an infant?" the sensei asked in disbelief.

"It's a vampire instinct that humans aren't born with. It helps to make finding our soul mates easier."

"So why not just take him, give him to another vampire, and have them raise him to be yours?"

"Yeah, we used to do that, didn't we? We outlawed that decades ago, no one was happy about it, but it had to be done. Vampires were creating blood harems of humans with their preferred blood scent, and it was starting to attract attention. It was around the same time that humans came up with that serum that made us only able to take one human food source at a time."

"We're not allowed to teach the students about that. It puts the humans in a bad light. They were trying to save human lives. It ended up creating more deaths at first than it did at saving lives. I guess they figure if we don't teach it, then eventually it will fade away, and be forgotten."

"I don't think anyone will forget that massacre, and if you look deep enough on the internet you can find all the details on it."

"This is true. You know, I think this is the first lengthy conversation I've ever had with one of your kind."

"Not many adults of your age take the time to talk with us, so I'm really not that surprised." He turned away to look back at them. Yugi quickly averted his eyes, he didn't want to be caught eavesdropping. He wiped away the last traces of his tears, and started to work on the homework assignment.

"Eavesdropping is rude." Atem whispered in his ear as he went to sit down.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Yugi muttered.

"Sure you don't."

Yugi bit the eraser on his pencil, before continuing on with the assignment. When he was done, he started to work on others. Soon the bell rang, signaling the end of class. Yugi quickly gathered up his things and headed to his next class. Which was lunch, but he didn't go to the cafeteria. Instead he went down to the basement. He knew that nobody would be down there, it was Friday. He sat behind the desk, and continued to work on his missing work. He didn't feel hungry, which was unusual, he usually only felt that way when he wasn't around or near his mates. When they had been gone for quite some time.

He sighed, how was he going to tell his friends he could no longer go on the trip? He just hoped they would send him pictures. He was also curious as to when this baby shower of theirs was going to happen. Not to mention he was turning 18 this year. If he wasn't at the court houses on his birthday, all of the things his parents had left him would pass automatically to his sister. With them being as estranged as they were, she might just take it too.

He threw his pencil down, and leaned back in the chair, running his hands through his hair. It was just too much, too much happening all at once. How was he supposed to cope with it all? Not to mention he still needed to see Isis about his unborn young. He hadn't done that yet, this month. He really needed to know if his theory was right. Or if he had landed Atem and Yami into even more trouble.

He shook his head, trying to clear it, as he started to work on his missing work once more. He got through several assignments, including the outline for another five pages of his research paper. The bell rang, and he packed up, heading to gym.

He walked out of the elevator, to see Atem and Yami sitting against the opposite wall, Atem was tossing an apple into the air. He turned away, heading for the gym. Today they were playing soccer.

Yugi didn't really get the chance to play. Their sensei was too scared that he could injure himself, or harm the baby with the rough sport. So he sat on the sidelines and watched. Someone plopped down on the bench next to him. Looking over, he discovered Malik.

"You wanna talk about it?" he asked.

"I can't go on the trip this summer."

"Why not? It's not like they're trying to stop you."

"I'll be heavily pregnant. What if the twins come early? I don't want to have the children overseas. I want to have them at home, where I feel comfortable."

"Yugi, they're not gonna come three months early. They'll be on time in October like they should be."

"But how do you know that?"

"Because I have faith in it. Besides, Ryou's already planned out your baby shower, and reserved the place for it. It would crush him if he heard you didn't want to go anymore."

"Yeah, I guess."

"So you're going?"

"As long as I'm back in Japan on July 17th. I have to claim my inheritance you know."

"Oh, it's already in the plans."

"I love you guys." Yugi said hugging him.

"Alright, but I wouldn't tell your mates that if I were you." Malik said hugging him back.

Yugi threw his head back with laughter. He laid his head down on his shoulder, and Malik wrapped an arm around his waist. They sat there, like that, until gym was over. Shadows suddenly loomed over them. They had just started to look up when they were suddenly yanked away from one another.

"How is it you can make that look so natural? You belong with us, Yugi." Atem growled.

"I know that." Yugi replied looking away. Malik had his arms crossed, as he took Marik's lecture, his head turned off to the side. It was his I'm listening but I'm not posture. Ishizu would often become frustrated by it, especially in middle school.

"It's always been that way…I can't explain why." He frowned.

"Come on, we have two more classes, and then we're out of here." Yami sighed taking his hand. Yugi let him lead, as Atem followed behind. The rest of the day playing out more boring than the previous hours had been.

That night, Atem's words of looking so natural with Malik was spinning in his mind. He fell asleep still thinking about it. The thoughts taking on an image of their own imagination.

[Time skip]

"We can slip away now, and she'll never be the wiser. We can raise him as our own." Yami said.

"You're right. Let's go." Atem agreed, and the two disappeared just as the woman in the distance noticed their figures. By the time she had run over to them though, they were long gone. She dropped to her knees, crying in agony and sorrow, her baby boy, her little man, was gone.

"But Mother Mahad, when can I see them?" Yugi asked as he trailed behind an older man.

"I told you already, when you're older."

"I'm four now, and you said when I was older when I was three. I'm four now."

The man sighed, and turned around, using his fingertips to raise the child's eye level to his. "Yugi, listen to me. You are still very young, much too young to be seeing them. You must wait until at least 17. When you are that age, I promise, I will arrange a meeting for you with them."

"I don't want to wait that long."

"The best things are worth waiting for." Another voice said.

"But Uncle Seth…"

"Yugi, patience and kindness, they are two virtues that all humans should live by."

"But I'm already kind."

"Not yet are you patient though. You remind me of our Queen, he isn't very patient either."

"Yugi, you're four. How do you want to celebrate?" another man asked.

"Well, Father Marik, I was hoping we could, um, go to the zoo?"

"The zoo it is then."

Yugi's face lit up with joy, and he ran into Marik's open arms. He swung him up, and lifted him high onto his shoulders. Yugi reached up as if to try to touch the sky. The other two men grinned, eyes filled with love as they looked at the young one, so naïve and innocent as to what the future had in store for him.

Yugi kissed the girl, trying to slip his tongue into her mouth. "Wait," she said.

"Yeah?" Yugi asked.

"What about your guardians?"

"Not gonna be home for another two hours. We're cool, so just relax." He coaxed her into another kiss, and she let him.

CRASH!

The two jumped apart, Yugi falling off of the couch. Mahad was standing in the doorway, a tray that had been full of tea on the floor, in pieces, in front of him. The girl quickly said her goodbyes and fled. Yugi stood up from the floor, and glared at the man who had helped raised him.

"What do you think you're doing?" Mahad asked in a whisper.

"I'm 15. They've made no move to contact me. Even through a letter. Clearly they've both forgotten all about me, and moved on, or they were never really interested."

"Yugi, they stay away because they care."

"I'm not asking to see them, I've stopped asking, in case you haven't noticed. I'm simply asking for a sign that they're real, that they care enough to reach out to me. Is that really too much to ask for?"

"No, of course it isn't."

"I'm moving on, as they clearly have already."

"I was just talking with them, over the phone, the meeting is arranged for your seventeenth birthday."

"Then it's a good thing I'm graduating two years early."

"What do you mean?"

"You raised me, you, Seth and Marik, all did. I love you, but I need to live my own life. I got an internship with the Mutou Gaming Company this summer. I'm taking it. Can I at least have your support in this?"

"Of course. No matter what you do or where you go, you will always have our support."

They shared a hug and then Yugi went upstairs to do some homework. Mahad sighed, they were all fools. He was a living, breathing, walking human, who could think for his self. To expect him to live by their rules his entire life was just folly. He was growing into a fine young man, more and more beautiful by the day. Still, nothing could stop his fate, he would become mate to his King and Queen one way or another. Nothing was going to stand in the way of that.

"YOU LIARS! THIEVES! KIDNAPPERS!"

All three vampire men jumped, scrambling to their feet. They stared at Yugi in the doorway, though this was not the Yugi they had hugged goodbye that morning. This Yugi was angry, hurt, and betrayal was written into every line of his face.

"What do you mean?" Seth asked.

"My family! You said they were dead! I walk into the company, and am greeted by another who could be my twin. The only difference between us is skin color. His name was Heba. At first I found it odd, until I remembered someone telling me once that we all have a twin out there somewhere. I told him that, and we both laughed over it. Then I met the Gaming Head and his wife. The resemblances could not be passed off as a coincidence any longer. There was a girl, her name Sakura, she held out a picture to me. It was of her holding a baby. I've seen that baby before, I've seen it in picture albums that you have kept. They told me how their son, Yugi, went missing when he was just a babe during a rogue attack. In a stroller one second, and gone the next. Why? Why did you take me away from them? Why did you lie about it?"

"We told you what we were told. We were told that they were dead. Killed in that rogue attack, and how you had no one else to look after you. Our King said we were to raise you, he told us you were special, and we were to raise you as such. Not there though, in a different country, Egypt they said would be best." Mahad explained calmly.

"It is not your fault then. I will still always love you three. Maybe we'll meet again someday, but for right now, I want to get to know them. My blood relations. As for your King and Queen…they can go to hell."

"You deserved to lose him." Marik whispered to their backs.

"You lied to us." Seth spat out swiftly moving past them.

Mahad faced them head on, "I will obey you, but I will never respect you ever again."

"Are you sure this is okay, Yugi?"

"Yeah, Malik. You're my fiancé now, and I haven't seen my guardians in, um…one, two, three…12 years. I want them to be there, with me, when I say I do."

"But were in the demons lair."

"We'll be fine, don't worry." He kissed his cheek pulling him further inside.

"MOTHER MAHAD? UNCLE SETH? FATHER MARIK? MAHAD! MAHAD WHERE ARE YOU!?"

"Don't you just love how he calls for Mahad three times, but us only once?" a voice spoke up from behind them.

"Seth!" Yugi threw himself into open arms. Seth released him so he could hug Marik too.

"Yugi." A nervous voice said.

Yugi turned around to see Vampires of every race and gender sniffing out his fiancé. He darted forward, grabbed his hand, and pushed him into Marik's arms. Marik stiffened, as he held the man even tighter to him.

"You've come home, at last."

He didn't need to turn around to know who had spoken. He didn't need to even acknowledge the speaker. Somehow he knew who this was without even looking.

"Yugi?"

He did turn around at that voice though. He sprinted forward, pushing aside the King and Queen as he hugged Mahad with so much force, he knocked them both to the ground. It seemed an entire era had passed before he got up, helping up the man who had helped raised him, well doing most of the raising actually. That was probably why he held a special place in his heart. A special place that not even his real Mother had been able to fill with her presence.

"I want you to meet somebody. I want you to meet my fiancé, Malik."

"You're what?" the King hissed.

"You had your chance, long ago, it's your own faults for not seizing it when you had the opportunity."

"Him?" Marik asked pointing at the man in a death grip in his arms.

"Yes." Yugi nodded looking at Malik with unfiltered love in his eyes. Malik was looking back at him in the same way.

"Right, well come on. We'll have some tea in my room. I want to hear all about how you two met." Seth said trying to diffuse the tension.

"Oh, can you make the kind with the cinnamon and oranges like you used to?"

"Of course!"

"Oh, you're gonna love it, Malik! Seth makes the best tea in the world."

"If anyone has any reason as to why these two should not be married, speak now or forever hold your peace."

"Ye-mmmphgh!"

Yugi glanced over to see Mahad and Seth restraining and quieting their King and Queen. He hadn't wanted to invite them, but Mahad had insisted. He turned back to the man in front of him. Finally, after four long months, they were going to become one with one another for forever. Yugi couldn't have been any happier as he said his vows, and kissed his husband.

"Come on, come to Mama Mahad," Mahad said as Yugi watched their foster daughter toddle from Malik's arms to his. She stumbled into them, and Mahad fussed over her, just like Yugi remembered him fussing over him.

They were already in their late thirties. He hadn't seen much of Atem or Yami, yeah, he'd finally learned their names. He saw them in the hallway whenever he came to visit, but that was about it. He wondered at how his life would have been like if he had just gone along with it all sometimes. Still, if he had, he wouldn't be married as he was now. And he was almost certain that there definitely wouldn't be any kids. They didn't exactly look like the parenting type.

"So, Yugi and I were thinking about adopting twin boys. Here's a picture of them, aren't they just the cutest things?" Malik handed a picture to Marik.

"They're beautiful," he said handing the photo to Seth.

"When do you pick them up?" Seth asked.

"Oh, nothing is official yet. But we hope to have them in our home by late May, early June," Yugi explained.

"That's good," Mahad nodded handing the picture back to Malik.

"Are you sure you're both ready to take on more children?"

"Yeah, I'm sure we can handle it. And if not, well, we have the best support system to lean on."

"Really, what's that?"

"Our parents. If it gets too overwhelming we'll just call up the grandparents and ask if they can take the young things off our hands for a while. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to."

"It would be an honor," Marik said bowing with an extra flourish. Yugi and Malik laughed at him, as their daughter toddled into Yugi's open arms. They were so cute when they just started to walk around.

Alright, that's enough of this. WAKE UP, YUGI!

Yugi jolted awake. Atem looked pissed, and Yami looked just as angry. He fiddled with his blanket, having no explanation for the dream. As bizarre as it was.

"So um, van shopping, I was thinking about a Ford, but a Chevy is good too," Yugi rambled looking anywhere but at them.

"Don't you even dare," Atem hissed.

"It doesn't mean anything, okay?" Yugi locked eyes with them both. "It was just a dream. A dream that I guess took form from thinking about what you said about Malik and me looking natural together."

"Whatever," Atem scoffed turning and heading for the door.

Yugi appeared in front of it. "If I'm not allowed to avoid the subject, then you're not allowed to walk away," he growled.

"Move."

"Make me!"

Atem yelled in frustration, slamming his fist through the door right by Yugi's left ear. He flinched, but didn't move. Yami was right there, pulling Atem away, and pushing him to the far side of the room. Yugi couldn't help it, and though the situation hardly called for it, he started to laugh.

"What's so funny?" Yami snarled.

"Usually, it's you being pulled off of me by Atem, the master of control. This is the first I've seen of you pulling him away from me," he pushed off the door and approached them. "I'm not scared of your anger, Atem, I've seen it before. I just need to know that I have your trust."

"Of course you do," Yami replied immediately.

"Then why doesn't it feel like it?" he looked away from them and out the balcony doors. "If I tell you something means nothing, I want to know that you'll trust my word for it. No matter how bizarre the situation might be. I want to know that you're going to be there through the thick as well as the thin. I need your trust, as I have given mine to you, or else there is no point in my being here. I'll just pack up and go back to Grandpa's now."

"No, you won't," Atem said.

"Then do I have it? You I have your trust?"

"Of course you do, Yugi," Yami said approaching him.

"Do I, Atem?" Yugi asked looking past Yami and straight at him.

"Yeah."

"That 'yeah' doesn't invoke much confidence."

"Yes, well that dream was very graphic."

"And meant nothing."

"You sure about that? Are you sure that you're not harboring some secret crush on him?"

"Maybe at one time I was, but no longer," Yugi replied honestly. "My heart is for you two and you two alone. Do you trust me?"

"No," Atem said.

It was so blunt, and brutal, that Yugi actually took a step back, like he'd been hit. He put a hand on his chest, "What?"

"I said no."

"I…see. Then I'll just go."

"No, Yugi, he's just upset. He doesn't mean it!" Yami cried grabbing his wrist before he could even take a step away.

"If he can't trust me…then I don't want to be here," Yugi said looking at the floor. He didn't try to yank his wrist out of Yami's mildly tight grip, yet. He didn't want to hurt the vampire. He loved him.

"No, he does, he does," he used the wrist he was holding to yank him into his arms. Yugi wrapped his arms around him, so his hands were holding his shoulders from behind. "You just had a wet dream, and it wasn't about us, so it makes him say things he doesn't mean."

Yugi's eyes shot open, and he shoved Yami away. "I didn't have a wet dream!"

"Yes-"

"No, I didn't. Trust me, if was wet you'd have known."

"Yugi, you were dreaming about someone else, which classifies as a wet dream," he said taking Yugi's hands and giving them a slight shake.

"Actually, Yami, a wet dream is where you're dreaming about something that makes you cum in your sleep. He didn't, so he wasn't having a wet dream," Atem explained like he was tired.

"But you said, that one time…" Yami looked over at him confused.

[Flashback]

"I'm sorry, Pharaoh! I didn't mean to dream about him, it just happened! I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay, Yami, just try not to have any more wet dreams in the future, okay?"

"Okay, I won't. I just miss Jono I guess. He was my first best friend after all. I guess that's why I dreamed of us playing in the gardens and having a good time."

[End flashback]

"Really? You're that insecure?" Yugi asked.

"I am not insecure!" Atem growled.

"You told him something was a wet dream when clearly it wasn't."

"I was a new mate, and I didn't want any competition. Especially from the dead!"

"The only competition here is Yami."

"What are you trying to do? Get me killed?" Yami asked.

"Of course I am! Trying to get my loved ones killed is all part of the fun!"

"Oh, it is, is it?"

"Ha ha, no," he wrapped his arms around Yami's middle. "I'd be too depressed if you got killed. Either of you."

"Uh, ah, okay," he patted Yugi's back awkwardly.

"And don't worry, Atem."

"About what?" he asked eyes narrowed in confusion.

"Your insecurities, I find them kind of cute," Yugi grinned wickedly at him. Yami let out a laugh which he quickly covered up as a cough. Atem's eyes turned to a not amused look. "It's like when you and Yami get jealous, and…oh," his eyes widened in realization.

"Oh?" Yami asked.

"You're jealous of Malik?"

"No," Atem answered shortly.

"If he were here, he'd be laughing so hard at you right now, while trying to speak."

"I am not jealous! I have you, what do I have to be jealous about?"

"So you do see the ridiculousness of it."

"I'm not jealous."

"Don't lie now, it's unbecoming."

They were in each other's faces. Practically nose to nose. It gave Yami an itch, and urge to do something. It could fix the problem at hand, but it just as well could make it worse. Oh well, no better way to find out which it was, he thought, as he gave Yugi a little push, connecting his and Atem's lips.

Yugi heard Yami's plotting a second before he was pushed into Atem, connecting their lips. Ruddy vampire. He put his hands on Atem's shoulders to push him away, but hands snatched up his waist, preventing him from doing so. Oh whatever, he thought, sliding his hands down to his chest, and gripped the shirt there, pulling him closer. He felt his back softly hit the wall, he opened his mouth, allowing Atem entrance within. His tongue dove in, battling with Yugi's for dominance, which he won easily. He picked up Yugi, and put him on the bed. Yugi flipped them over, and straddled him, somehow their lips never disconnecting, until Yugi pulled away. He ripped open Atem's shirt, and kissed his way down to his belt line. Upon reaching it, he quickly disposed of the cloth that prevented him from getting at the main event.

Hey, I liked those pants.

Hm, well now they're in shreds.

He leaned down, licking the tip, and pre-cum. He put only the tip in his mouth, and sucked on it like you would a dum-dum. He slowly took more of Atem into his mouth, having to hold down his hips as they started to buck up. The door to their room opened, but Yugi figured it was just Yami leaving or something.

"Uh, guys?" Yami asked nervously.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Isis screamed.

Yugi looked over, half of Atem still in his mouth. He quickly took his mouth off of his penis, scraping his teeth over it. Atem moaned, a begging sound, but Yugi was more than inclined to deny him of what he wanted.

"Uh, I…have to go to the bathroom. Pregnancy…pressing on bladder…gotta go now," Yugi vanished into the bathroom. He popped his head back out a second later. "Oh, and Atem, I totally forgive you." He vanished back inside.

He pressed his back up against the door, flicking the lock. Dang, he felt as if he had just dodged a huge bullet. But he really did need to go to the bathroom, so he hadn't been totally lying.

"What do you mean you forgive me?" he heard Atem ask. "Uh, hello, Isis, time for the checkup already? Do you think we might be able to re-schedule say like in two hours from now?"

"I'm going to murder you. You and your mate," Isis whispered.

"Well, I hadn't gotten the chance to release yet?"

Silence.

"You don't care…"

"He had his mouth around you. How could you let that happen?"

"Actually it was very easy."

SMACK!

"Ow, that hurt!"

"Yami, fetch him so I can do this checkup already."

Yugi grimaced, looking around for a place to hide. Oh who was he kidding, there was no place to hide. Then again, he was much quicker than them, he looked up at the ceiling and put up a fragile barrier. He had an idea…

"Of course."

The door opened and Yami entered. Yugi was already in the corner behind the door. He came inside, his hands on his hips looking around. Yugi was being very careful not to move, too careful. A single drop of sweat was slipping down his nose. He watched as it made it to the end of his nose. Yami sighed, turning to leave as the drop fell off the end of his nose, and dropped onto the floor just as Yami was about to shut the door again. Yami's head snapped up, connecting eyes with him.

"I don't like checkups," Yugi whispered.

"The sooner you get it over with, the sooner you can go back to what you were doing before."

"Really?"

"Oh no you won't!" Isis said popping into the room.

"But I want to."

"Get down here, right now, Mr. Mutou!"

He sighed, she really did look scary when she was angry. He slowly slid down to the floor, his nails scraping against the walls. She grabbed him before his feet could hit the floor and dragged him back into the bedroom, where she proceeded to check him over, poking and prodding at him. She sighed, and motioned Atem and Yami out of the room. Yugi tiptoed over to the door.

"He has three children in there now. There should only be one at this point of the pregnancy. He might actually have a fighting chance of getting those twins, possibly triplets."

"Is that it? There isn't any more?" Yami asked sounding surprised.

"Should there be more?" Isis's voice took on that scary tone again.

"No, of course not."

"We just thought there'd be at least four is all," Atem smoothed over.

"Right, well other than that, they're very healthy. No sex, have fun van shopping today." She turned to leave. "And no blowjobs either," she threw over her shoulder.

"Yes ma'am!" Atem mocked. He waited until she her footsteps had faded away before coming back into the room. "So, back to what we were doing before?"

"No, we really do need to go van shopping, come on get dressed," Yugi sighed heading into his closet. He felt as if it had grown smaller in past couple of months, probably because he had to make room for Atem's and Yami's clothes. The baby clothes they had gotten from all the baby showers had taken up most for the room in theirs. Thinking of baby showers though, he wondered how and when his friends was going to happen. And wait if they had a baby shower somewhere else, then that meant his Grandpa wouldn't be able to attend. He'd have to talk to Malik and Ryou about that one.

He threw a pair of Atem's boxers and pants out of the closet and then dressed himself. He came back out to find Atem trying to pout on the bed. Yugi rolled his eyes and sat down on the bed with him.

"I'll give you a blowjob later if you come van shopping with us now," he whispered in his ear.

"Are you trying to bribe me to get what you want?"

"Is it working?"

"A little bit."

"Then come on," he said kissing his cheek. He hopped off the bed and grabbed Yami's hand dragging him out of the bedroom. He was halfway down the stairs, when he realized he hadn't eaten yet. "I'm hungry.

"We'll get you something on the way to the dealership."

"Okay! This is going to be so much fun!"

[Time skip]

"So, what does the new van look like?" Malik asked over the phone.

"I wouldn't know, we didn't get one," Yugi answered.

"What? Why not? Too expensive for their highnesses?"

"Money wasn't the issue, it was the decision process that was. They're still arguing about which brand is better than a Ford. A Buick or a Honda. They both agreed on the Chevy, and when I told them I was willing to change my mind to that they just ignored me."

"A Honda is not better than a Ford. A Buick…maybe, but not a Honda."

"Hallelujah! Somebody agrees with me!"

"So, when do you think they'll snap out of it?"

"Next week? Maybe?"

"It'll be too late by then, we'll be studying for our finals, and then we'll have graduation. And Jou is actually gonna do it, he's going to graduate!"

Yugi howled with laughter. It had always been a joke, ever since middle school when he had to take summer school for 8th grade. They had joked about whether or not he would graduate high school. Though, with Kaiba there to help him study, no one didn't see why he wouldn't.

"Oh, it is definitely going to be an emotional day."

"So come, how long is the speech?"

"You'll see, it'll definitely triumph over last years."

"Yugi, don't make it three hours long."

"Oh, don't worry it's not three hours."

"Phew!"

"I think it's actually longer," he said picking up the one index card. The front had a couple of sentences on it, and the back was written in small neat handwriting, but it filled up the entire thing. His classmates were going to kill him.

"YUGI!"

"What?"

"We'll talk about your insanity later, Marik is hungry."

"Have fun."

"Yeah, you too." Click.

Yugi hung up his own phone. Amazing, he had just had a two hour conversation with his best friend and they still weren't done arguing. Well, he did have homework to do, so he supposed he might as well as get started.

Yugi yawned, his head nodding as he almost finished up the research paper. He knew drunk driving could be both so brutal and so boring. Still, it was the subject he had pulled out of the hat, not one he chose himself. He saved the document and shut down his computer. He pushed it away and pulled his Physics book to him. Might as well work on the chapter that had been assigned today, err, yesterday. He had just flipped open to the page when arms wrapped around his middle.

"Come sleepy, time for bed," Yami cooed in his ear.

"I'm not tired," Yugi mumbled.

"Ha ha, yes you are. You're starting to nod off over here."

"Did you decide which was better yet?"

"No, we can't agree."

"Oh, after I finish this chapter I'll head to bed," he yawned.

"I don't think so," Yami laughed adjusting his arms so he could scoop him up. He relieved him of his pants and shirt, leaving him in his boxers. Yugi was already half asleep as Yami tucked him into bed.

"Goo'nigh 'Tem and 'Ami."

"Still so cute," Atem sighed.

[Time skip]

"So, you guys hungry or what?" Yugi asked as a greeting to the new morning.

"I thought you weren't feeding us this week?" Yami asked cheekily.

"Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me, Yami." He started to scoot off the bed.

"Yeah, thanks for reminding him, Yami," Atem said while rolling his eyes. He snagged an arm around Yugi's waist and pulled him back onto the bed. With no warning, he plunged his fangs into the right side of his neck. Yugi huffed in slight annoyance.

"I didn't mean to remind him," Yami said sulkily.

Atem looked over at him, slowly cleaning Yugi up. Yugi moaned, and Atem chuckled at his behavior. He finished and passed him to Yami who just held him. Yugi nudged him with his elbow. He had gotten better at controlling his extra strength, but he still sometimes lost control of it. Thankfully this was not one of those times.

Yami put his lips on the left side of his neck, but he didn't bite him. "Yami, eat," Yugi ordered.

"No, I'm not going to force you to feed us."

"Now listen here, you stubborn vampire, if you don't eat my blood, the output is going to be out of balance. You don't want me to be out of balance do you?"

"Yes."

"Don't make me force you to eat."

"And just how do you plan on doing that?"

Without any hesitation, Yugi used his extra strength to cut open his left wrist using only his blunt fingernails. Both vampires cried out in horror, but Yami quickly grabbed the wrist before even a drop of blood could fall on the bed and placed his mouth on it. He drank his fill before sealing it up, all the while glaring at him.

"That was a really stupid thing to do, Yugi," Yami growled.

"I warned you."

"Still stupid. I would have eaten eventually."

"Eventually isn't now," he said getting up and going to his desk to finish his homework and start studying for his finals. If he did well, he'd be out of school that last week before graduation. That was his ultimate goal anyhow. They were all supposed to be getting ready for their big trip that week. That had always been the plan at least. Two weeks, and the year was over. Wow, he still couldn't believe it.

Shaking off his thoughts of graduation, he focused on the more important task. The work that would help him to graduate. He threw himself into it, until it was nearly five at night. It was then that he realized he hadn't eaten anything that day. He turned to tell his mates this, but they were both sleeping on the bed. It was so cute, Yugi couldn't help himself, he snapped a picture with his phone and sent it to Ryou saying adorable, no?

He then snuck from the room and down to the kitchens. He got some food and brought it back upstairs. He had talked with Eliza about making the pie tomorrow since it was due Tuesday. She had said okay. And then he told her his friends wanted to make one too. She asked if they had to be monitored in the kitchen too. He laughed and said no, they were all good cooks. She had nodded at that and he had left.

He yawned, sitting down at the bottom of the bed and started to eat. The food was gone in seconds, and he was still hungry. Maybe he should have just eaten in the kitchens.

"I'll get you more food," Atem said breaking the silence and making Yugi jump out of his skin.

"Kami, next time make some sign that you're awake, alright?" Yugi asked holding his chest. His heart was still trying to escape his chest.

"That's no fun," he kissed his cheek. "Then I wouldn't get to see you jump so high."

"Bloody wanker," Yugi mumbled.

"What?"

"What?"

"What did you say?"

"Nothing."

"No, I heard what you said, I just wanted you to say it louder."

"I have no idea what you're talking about. I said nothing."

"Liar."

"Uh! You wound me calling me that."

"Good. Your ego needs a few holes."

"I do not have an ego."

"Do to!"

"Do not!"

"Do to!"

"Do not!"

"Do to!"

"Do not!"

"Do-"

"You both have an ego, now shut up I'm trying to sleep!" Yami complained. Both human and vampire looked over at him, the human grinning as he crawled up to the head of the bed.

"Aww, are we disturbing you?" Yugi asked in a babying voice.

"Yes," he replied shortly.

"Poor little vampire. You're just having a horrible day aren't you? First I force you to eat, and now you can't get any sleep because we're disturbing you. It sounds horrible."

"It is even more horrible, because you're using a baby voice on me."

"What baby voice?"

"That one!"

"I don't know what you mean."

"Yes you do!"

"No, I couldn't possibly."

"Yugi Rida Mutou, stop harassing our mate. Let him sleep. Come on, I thought you were hungry," Atem said tugging on his foot.

"Oh, I am!"

"Come on then, I'll get you some food."

"Alright, we'll be back in a little bit, Yami. Have a good nap," he said still in that babying tone he was using before. He kissed him on the cheek, pulled the covers up around him and the two left.

Yugi had expected to go to the kitchens, but it seemed that Atem had other ideas as he took Yugi's hand and led him out of the Palace, and to his truck. They got in and Atem drove them to Olive Garden. Yugi grinned as they walked up to the doors and went inside. Jou served them again.

"Back for more, huh Yug?" Jou asked.

"Actually this was Atem's idea, not mine," Yugi answered.

"Really? And where's the third one?"

"He's at home sleeping," Atem answered.

"Oh, so what'll it be this time?"

"I'll have the beef tortellini, and a sprite."

"Okay, and for you?"

"I don't need anything I already ate today."

"Ah, then isn't he supposed to be worn out or something?"

"Not while he's pregnant he isn't. Faster healing abilities."

"Right, okay. I'll get that order in." he walked away, leaving Yugi and Atem alone.

"So, what brought this on?"

"I don't know. Normally we all do something together, but I realized I never took you on a date just the two of us, and while Yami has. And it seemed like the only time I've spent with you alone, you were either injured or not feeling well. So I wanted to do something, just the two of us."

"Oh, ah, okay. I guess I just got used to us all going on dates together that going on one on one dates, seems a little weird."

"Hm, that's understandable."

"I kind of forgot what they were like."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I haven't been on a real one on one date since…one…two… three years ago?"

"That would be before Sarugaki if I'm doing the math right. Who did you go out with then?"

"My freshman year, I met a guy named Thompson. We went on one date, and that was it. It was enough for me. The only thing he wanted was sex, and I really wasn't ready for anything like that."

"I see. Have you dated anyone else?"

"Uh, yeah, there was Gabriel, Michael, Dennis, Jason, Maurice, and Penelope. It was thanks to her that I turned gay in the first place. I realized that men are less complicated than women, and less uptight and whiny too."

"Ha ha ha."

"What's so funny?"

"You are. Is that the only reason as to why you turned gay?"

"No. actually, I found myself checking out other men while I was dating her, and she eventually caught onto it. She was a little slow on the update, but when she finally noticed, she broke up with me. And told everyone in Domino Middle that I was gay. Which was apparently something they already knew?"

"Really?"

"Yeah, I just wish someone had told me sooner. You know, so I hadn't wasted three weeks on that woman in 7th grade."

Atem was helpless with laughter. He couldn't even get a sentence out, he was laughing too hard. Jou came back with his drink, and gave Atem and odd look as he set it down in front of Yugi.

"What's up with him?"

"I told him how I became gay. Apparently it's very amusing," Yugi explained. Jou snorted and walked off. "Hey! What was with that noise?! Jou!"

"Apparently he finds it amusing too," Atem said smiling.

"Oh, are you done now?"

"For now."

"What about you? How did you find out you were gay?"

"Well, we didn't have a name for it back then. It was just natural for a Pharaoh to bed anyone he pleased. Man or woman, it didn't matter. As long as the living God was happy the world was supposed to be happy too."

"Hmm."

"So, why do you like dueling so much?"

"Oh, it's not just dueling. It's the whole imagination of the game. The strategy needed to win. Guessing your opponents next move, and finding a way to overcome traps. Setting some yourself. Using magic cards to boost your monster's abilities. Like, I think I have every magic and trap card related to both the dark magician and dark magician girl. Not to mention, when Jou uses his time wizard on him, he turns into a dark sage. That was really cool. But I even have the dark paladin and black luster soldier. And I have all the Egyptian god cards. I have the best deck in the league. Nobody can take my title of King of Games. I mean, my name is game! I have to be the king, I was born to it!"

Atem sat there, head resting on his hand just listening to him go on and on about it. He knew that once he had cracked open that egg, there would be no stopping him. But he had always been curious, he and Yami both really, about what attracted him to dueling.

"So who taught you how to duel?"

"My Grandpa of course. I picked up my first dueling card when I was five, and the rest as they say is history."

"Hm," Atem nodded. Jou brought over Yugi's meal then, and he started to eat it.

"So why did you want to find me before I turned 18?"

"Well, I figured if we could change you at a young age, we could avoid your blood thinning out on us, like Raphael's did."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, okay, so as you get older, your veins and arteries get smaller, and I suppose that's where the confusion of blood thinning in the body comes from. But what really makes it happen is the drugs that doctors give you to prevent heart attacks and strokes. If you're young you really don't need to worry about this, especially if your family has no history of it. That's why I cast that spell, so we could find you when you were young, possibly mate with you at a young age too, and then we wouldn't have to worry about any of that. But I also thought you would choose to be turned into a vampire, so you not wanting to be one, threw like a bloody axe into my plans, and I had to map out the possibilities that by the time you stopped aging, I could indeed have the problems that I was trying to avoid you having. Do you understand now why?"

"Yeah, I get it, but you understand why I didn't want to be turned right?"

"Because of your sister."

"No, not just that, I love being human. I love all the joy and thrills that comes with being one. Yes this little vampire's gift is nice, but I would give it up in a heartbeat. Humanity is a race that strives to live every day, to survive, and I enjoy being a part of it. Just one small dot in a sea of many. Insignificant to all except those who know me. What isn't there to love about it? That's the real reason why I don't want to be transformed. I love who I am. Why would I want to ever be anyone different?"

"Why indeed. You're a sassy little human with a compassion wide enough to allow room even for your enemies. You work hard to achieve your goals, and are extremely loyal to those you care about, even if those you love act really pig headed sometimes. And I'm not just talking about Sakura. Yami and I have had our share of pig headedness. Your love is so pure, I sometimes wonder why you were even meant for us in the first place."

"Because you needed someone to level you and Yami out. The two of you are alike, but different, you needed something else thrown in though. You needed someone who wasn't afraid of your anger, who could accept you, not as rulers of the vampire race, but as you are."

"And what exactly are we?"

"Jealous, most of the time."

"That is not what I meant and you know it."

"Ha ha."

"What's so funny?"

"I haven't heard you say that to me in a while. It sounds nice rolling off your tongue again."

"Do you want dessert, Yug?" Jou asked interrupting their conversation.

"No thanks, Jou. Most of the stuff here has chocolate in it."

"Ah, right, well, I'll be back with the bill then."

"So? What are we?" Atem asked drawing the focus back to him.

"You are careful and patient. You can drive away fear and replace it with trust. You have a strong will but a terrible temper. You command respect in droves, and expect to be obeyed no matter the command you give out. Your vampires love you because you're their King, but few people actually know you. That is the way you'd like to keep it too. You'd rather have close friends who will have your back in times of trouble, than friends who would throw you to the sharks should the tide turn against them. That is who you are, Atem."

"And Yami? Who is he?"

"He too is careful, but extremely impatient. He can comfort any soul with kind words and soft touches. He doesn't have a quick temper, but he does jump to conclusions quickly. He also has a low tolerance for pain, whether it be emotional or physical. He's the kind of person that you can tell all your problems to, without the worry of ever being judged. People respect him because he's your Queen, your right hand person, and your first chosen mate. Yami loves you because you were the first person to show him not only kindness but love. You were the first person in his life to not use him for only sex, and I'm positive that had a big impact on him. He's the person he is today, because you came into his life. That is who Yami is."

"Wow…you think a lot of us, don't you?"

"Of course, I love you," Yugi said leaning across the table and kissing him.

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! We have children in this establishment you know. No PDA!" Jou interrupted breaking them up by placing the bill between them.

Atem tsked at Jou, taking it. He slipped a card into the slot without even looking at the bill, and handed it back to him. Jou blinked before walking away muttering something about rich people.

"How exactly did he and Kaiba end up together?"

"Well, one day Jou came into school really beat up. Kaiba was teasing him about losing a battle, and Jou just socked him. I asked him what happened and he muttered words like 'Dad' and 'drunk'. I nodded, I didn't need any more explanation. A few of us in the group knew about Jou's Dad's anger issues, but we also knew that Jou was too proud to ask for help. The next day, much to everyone's surprise, Kaiba was towing a very reluctant Jou from his limo and up to the school. When asked why, Jou went off on a rant about how rich boy here followed him home, beat the living crap out of his Father, and then dragged him home with him. It was the most humiliating thing he had ever had to suffer through."

"Yeah, but it was also the best thing for me," Jou said grabbing a chair plopping it down by their table. He passed the receipt back to Atem. He took it without a word. "My Dad blamed me for my Mother leaving with my sister. So he got drunk almost every night, and some nights he would turn on me. The day rich boy followed me home, was one of those nights. He laid my old man flat on his back, and pretty much told him I was no longer his responsibility. And then, for lack of a better word, he kidnapped me. I tried going back a few times afterwards, but rich boy was always there to stop me. He even asked me once why I wanted to go back to that hell hole? I had no answer, I realized there wasn't one. I stopped trying to go home after that, there was literally no point to it."

"Katsuya! Stopped being a chatty Kathy and get back to work!" someone yelled.

"Yes, Mayleena! I gotta go, I'll see ya at school tomorrow."

"Bye Jou!" Yugi said reaching in his back pocket for his wallet. It wasn't there. That was right, he hadn't expected to come out, so he had left his wallet back at home. Stupid.

"What do you need your wallet for?"

"The tip."

"Tip?"

"Yes, the extra money you leave on the table for good service? Waiters and waitresses live off of them, you know. That is their main source of pay."

"Really?"

"Uh huh."

"Okay then," he pulled out his wallet again and took out three one hundred dollar bills. He put them on the table and then took Yugi's hand, leading him out of the restaurant. Yugi's mouth was flapping like a fish out of water.

"Atem that was-"

"Yes?"

He couldn't do it. There was too much pride in Atem's eyes. "Really nice of you!" he said happily instead. Atem grinned back switching out his hand to wrap an arm around his shoulders instead.

"Thank you, Yugi."

"You're welcome, Atem."

"Do you want to go up to your hill and watch the stars with me?"

"Shouldn't we be getting back? Yami's bound to be worried about us."

"Please?"

"Okay."

Atem smiled like an idiot and lead him back to the truck. He drove to the dirt path, and got out. It seemed miraculous to Yugi that he even remembered where it was, considering he had only been there once. He led them on the trail, getting lost, and had to let Yugi steer them back to where they were supposed to be.

The trees above them broke and the stars and moon shined down on them. Yugi flopped down on the grass, and stared up at them. There was a rustle coming from the pathway, and both Atem and Yugi turned to look. Sakura came out of the bushes, with Mahad right behind her.

"Uh, hey," Yugi said.

"Hi," Sakura said back freezing.

"Given up on him following you?"

"Yeah, I guess," she shrugged. "I mean he's just going to do it anyway, so why bother trying to stop him, you know?"

"I guess, yeah."

They fell into a heavy and awkward silence.

"So can the Hunter leave? We're kind of on a date here," Atem said breaking the tension.

"Where's the third one then?"

"At home. Taking a nap."

"Whatever," Sakura said before turning and leaving.

"That wasn't very nice," Yugi said as soon as they both were gone.

"She'll get over it," Atem said lying down next to him.

Yugi sighed, and put his head on his chest. The two sat in silence just watching the stars. Well, one was watching the other was sleeping. Once Atem discovered this though, he just chuckled, scooped him up, and eventually found his way back to the truck so they could go home.

[Time skip]

"I'm just upset that you didn't invite me," Yami whispered.

"You wanted to take a nap. You were very clear about this," Atem whispered back.

"Uh-but-I…have no answer to that."

"Obviously."

"Oh shut it you. So how was it? One on one I mean?"

"It was nice. He thinks very highly of us you know."

"Um, he does?"

"Yeah." Atem replayed their entire conversation in his mind for Yami.

"Wow, he really does love us, doesn't he?"

"It would appear so, Habibi."

"I'll…day…some…doo," Yugi mumbled. He knew what he was saying, but then again he was the only one.

"Wha-? Are you awake?" Yami asked poking his side. He received no response. "Yugi!"

"Na?"

"Na? Is that even a word?" Atem asked trying not to laugh.

"Hey, what are you trying to say?" Yami asked shaking his shoulder.

"Dick…Atem. Starve…you."

"WHAT?!" they both shouted jolting Yugi into a half asleep state.

"Is the date over?" he asked.

"For a couple of hours now actually," Atem said looking at an imaginary watch. "So, do you want to repeat what you were trying to say, now that you're a little more awake?"

"I didn't say anything. What time is it?"

"5:00 am," Yami answered. "And yes you did. First you said I'll day some doo. After that was the nonexistent word na. And lastly we have dick Atem and starve you. Care to translate."

"Well, that first one sounds a little like I'll date just you sometime too. The next one is no. And last we have ditch Atem, and steal you."

"How do you get steal out of starve?"

"I wasn't awake yet! So get off my back!"

"Oh, we love you," Atem said wrapping his arms around him.

"You know that right?" Yami added practically lying on top of him as he joined in on the hug…thing.

"I'd know it better if you stopped squishing me!"

"But you're so squishable!"

"I don't want to be squishable!"

"Too bad, you're our little squishable human lover."

"Ugh, will the day just start already?" Yugi asked in exasperation. "Oh, and I had a wonderful time on our date last night, Atem. Thank you."

"You're welcome."

Told you he liked it.

You forgot to go bowling with him though.

Sorry, I didn't want to copout his entire date.

No imagination.

I do too have imagination!

Do not!

Do to!

Do-

Okay, I'm interrupting before this becomes a do not do to thing. They're so annoying.

And yet, you do them.

This is true, but I still find them annoying. Come on, we need to get ready for our first day of finals.

Is it that time already?

"Oh, it's the first week of finals. I don't think I studied enough. I'm going to fail!" Yugi started to break down crying, throwing his face into the blankets.

"No, you're not going to fail," Atem said rubbing his back. "You're brilliant, you can't fail."

"Yes, I am!" he wailed.

"No, no you're not."

"You studied for days, and you have that study hall before the class so, you're going to be fine. You can extra study for the final then," Yami consoled.

"I don't want to cram!"

"Well, we don't know what to tell you, Yugi. You're going to be fine."

"You're telling the truth?"

"Of course. When have we ever lie ever lied to you?"

Yugi pulled his face out of the blankets to look at him. "Is that rhetorical?"

"Yes, now let's get ready for another beautiful week at school, shall we?" Atem said quickly before Yami could even open his mouth.

"I guess."

"Come on then!" he pulled Yugi out of bed to get ready for another beautiful weak.

[Time skip]

Pssh! Pssh! Pssh pssh pssh pssssssssssssh!

"Are you sure a pie is the right thing for you to be trying to cook?" Eliza asked as she set down the fire extinguisher.

"Yes, I want to make a peach pie. I can do it! I know I can!"

"Yugi! They're coming!" Ryou shouted running in though the doorway.

"Alright, show us how you can make any subject dirty," Malik said with a cocky look.

"Okay, we'll use frosting for this one," Yugi said taking out a bag and cutting off the tip of it.

"So, I was saying that maybe we should just see how it's going. Perhaps offer some support if it's not going well," Marik was saying somewhere down the hallway.

"Alright, so in order to do this correctly, first you have to shove it in very quickly," Yugi's voice said from the kitchen.

"All at once?" Malik asked.

"Normally, yes, but in this situation I think a little at a time would be better."

"Okay, so what next, start moving it in and out. You know, until you have a good feel of it."

"So you want me to keep moving in and out?"

"Correct."

"Okay, so what next?"

"Alright, it feels a bit dry, so let's put some more on, and try it again."

"Alright, I have some more."

"Right now repeat what you did before."

"What are they doing?" Atem asked.

"They're in a kitchen, I'm sure it's innocent," Yami tried to reason but he looked a little unsure himself.

"Doesn't sound very innocent."

"Yeah, well, sounds can be deceiving?"

"Okay, no, it needs a little more friction. Try doing it a little faster," Yugi suggested.

"Like this?"

"Nope, faster."

"This good?"

"Oh yeah, that's perfect," Yugi said in a slightly deeper voice.

"What the-?" Marik said grabbing the door handle. Yami and Atem stopped him from opening the door though. They weren't sure if they wanted to know what was going on on the other side.

"Look guys! I'm doing it!"

"Awesome, Malik!" Jou encouraged.

"Huh?" Seth asked.

"Who else is watching this?" Marik asked.

"Are you sure you're doing that right?" Ryou asked.

"Well, he is a first timer at this so…we can't expect instant gratification," Yugi explained.

"Oh, alright I see."

"Apparently the dog's human is," Atem growled.

"Hey! I'm dating some of those dogs as you call them."

"No you're dating one dog, and the other one is trying to kill you. Like last night, when he put a little something extra in the blood bag for you."

"I'm sure he didn't know Viagra would do that to a vampire."

"Yeah, sure, just like he didn't know that mixing cows blood, goats blood, and butterfly blood would knock a vampire out for a couple of hours."

"Or the time that he gave you elephant blood instead of his. He had no idea, that you were allergic to it."

"Or maybe that time that he locked you in the basement for two weeks, and told Jou that you had gone on vacation."

"Or perhaps the time that-"

"Okay I get it! The cold one wants me dead. However, people have been trying to kill me since before you were born, Atem! One dog isn't going to succeed now."

"Yes, but this one dog is rich. So…he's never going to run out of means or ways. And his imagination, it's very vivid."

"Shut up."

"Okay, so after you have a good friction going, trying pushing it around to try to get it at a right angle."

"A right angle? You mean like this?"

"No, I didn't literally mean a right angle. What you're looking for is the right spot to put it into."

"Oh, okay I see."

"Yeah that's it, just a little deeper in the hole. There! You got it!"

"Awesome! How are you so good at this?"

"Well, I have had a lot of practice!"

BANG!

"Yugi Rida Muotu!"

"Malik Kahil Ishtar!"

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOu are doing?" the three vampires faded off of their question at the scene before them.

Malik was holding a frosting bag between two white cake slabs. Yugi was standing beside him pressing his lips together as he tried not to laugh. As for Jou and Ryou they were laughing their heads off behind them, rolling on the floor.

"Uh, filling a cake with cream?"

"Told you you could do it," Yugi got out before he burst out laughing.

"Not cool, Yugi."

"Ra, shoulda seen…your…faces."

"That was not funny, Mr. Ishtar," Marik scolded.

"My friends seem to think it was."

"Well, it wasn't."

"Alright, whatever you say my big cuddly bubbly boo," Malik said rubbing noses with him.

Marik became so dark, you could see the deep red color on his tan skin.

"Big cuddly bubbly boo?" Yami asked with laughter following as soon as he got it out. He dropped to his knees, clutching his sides with laughter. "Go-oh-oh-oh-ld!"

"Um, I have to go work on my pie," Yugi said getting back up and walking back over to Eliza. She sighed before they started to try to make Yugi's fifth pie. Hopefully this one wouldn't burn too.

[Time skip]

Yugi stood before his home ec teacher, his pie displayed before him proudly. It wasn't burnt, the filling was a little thinner than it should be, but it was still edible, and it was cooked. Took him 37 tries, eight extinguishers, three yelling matches with the head chef {Eliza}, and all night, but he finally came out on top of this one.

"So, what do you think?" Yugi asked after she had taken a bite.

"So, you learned something after all. I'm impressed. I'll give you a B+ for this pie."

"YES!" Yugi shouted jumping up and down. He stopped a second later and put a hand on his belly. Not a good idea, jumping, there seemed to be some kind of weird disturbance going on down-

He was hovering over the trash can in the next second. No jumping. Jumping makes him sick, got it.

"But you do understand that without your partners excellent cooking skills, you would have failed this class?"

Yeah, got it.

"He understands," Yami said.

"Good, now what did you make?" she moved onto the next students final project.

"Poor little human," Atem cooed picking him up. "You just can't seem to do anything these days."

"I can pass my Physics final. I know that."

"Mm, that's good."

"That's next."

"Right."

"Atem?"

"Yes, Yugi?"

"I don't feel good."

"I can see that."

"Take me home?"

"Ha ha, no. You still have your Physics final this afternoon. You can survive until then."

"No."

"Yes."

"Ateeeeemmmm!"

"No."

"But I thought you loved me?"

"I'll give you a back massage."

"One for my feet too!"

"Okay."

"My arms too."

"Fine."

"My legs?"

"Sure."

"And?"

"Yes?"

Yugi stretched his neck up to whisper in his ear. Atem flushed, closing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose. Yami's eyes narrowed at the two of them.

What did he ask?

For a massage for the most sensitive part on his body. Basically a hand job.

Yami snickered. If you want, I can give him that. Save you the misery of having to do it.

He's blushing, Yami! It's adorable!

Yami howled with laughter, getting a disapproving reprimand from their teacher. He quieted his laughter, but it didn't stop. The situation was far too amusing to him apparently.

"Don't worry, you don't have to do it," he gave him a chaste kiss. "I was simply curious as to how far I could push you before you cracked. Apparently it's pretty far," Yugi laughed sticking part of his tongue out at him.

"You cheeky little imp!" Atem exclaimed slamming hand into the tiles below him. Yugi was actually quite surprised that no crack formed in them. Impressive.

"Only for you and Yami," he whispered.

"Hm, well I can see that you all learned something this year," their teacher said breaking into their conversation. Atem lifted Yugi up, and sat him back on his stool. "If anything makes me happy, it's that. Everyone here passed, which means I won't see any of you in summer school. Well, that's it, get out of my class, but leave your creations. They belong to the faculty now."

There was a chorus of no fairs and you really want to eat this? Yugi snickered at his classmates. He knew his pie was probably barely edible, and that their teacher had probably only given him a high grade because it was edible. He climbed off his stool, and headed to the library for his first free period. He'd have another one after lunch, and then his Physics test.

"Hey, you guys want to come with me to dueling club during lunch today?" Yugi asked.

"You're…inviting us?" Atem asked in surprise.

"Yeah, it'll be fun!" they both looked at him unsure. "Come on, it'll be my last one before I graduate! Please come?"

"Eh sure, why not?"

"Yes!" Yugi cheered.

"Yugi?"

"Hm?"

"Where do you get all your energy from?"

"Being happy," he said smiling.

They grinned back, his smile so irresistible. He met up with Penny, Rebecca, and Malik in the library. They all had this free period together. Jou and Kaiba had it too, but Kaiba had probably rented out a private study room for them to study in. Kami knew Jou needed all the help he could get. It was silent as they studied, except for the occasional whispered question and answer.

Honestly the whole thing was boring to Atem and Yami, but they put up with it. They only had a few limited months of Yugi to themselves before he went off to college. Then he was going to be on his own for four years, possibly more. Yugi's eyes flickered to them, but they barely saw it. They were so lost in their own thoughts. He was sure they weren't even aware that they were broadcasting them across the link. Normally that was his job, and he was very good at it.

"Is that what you honestly think?" he asked.

"Huh?" Penny questioned looking up.

"Well?" he pushed looking over at Atem and Yami.

"It's true isn't it?"

"No, it isn't," he sighed putting his pencil down. "If you honestly think I'm going to miss out on raising my children, you're only fooling yourselves. I'm going to make a point to be there every moment I can. Even if I have to commute every day, I will. You're not getting rid of me that easily."

"We're not trying to get rid of you, but we don't want you to miss out on dorm life either," Yami said.

"Dorm life?"

"Yes, it's what most humans do when they go to college, they live in a dorm," Atem answered.

"When have I ever been like most human?"

Malik snickered into his hand, as Penny just rolled her eyes. Rebecca, well she took a different approach to the whole thing. "Uh, excuse me, trying to study here, mind shutting up?"

"You're so rude, Rebecca," Malik laughed.

"They'll get over it."

"Not to them, to Penny and me."

She lifted her head to look up at him, her pen tapping against the table. "How?"

"Because if they shut up, we'll never know how it ends."

Penny snorted, "Don't worry, Yugi, I don't care."

"Thank you Penny for not caring about the troubles of others. I appreciate it," he said grinning.

"It's not all troubles, just yours."

"Thanks, I can just feel the love you have for me."

"Oh, that makes me so happy!"

"Oh good, then I'm doing my job."

The two shared a look before busting out in quiet laughter muffled by their hands. Yugi had to admit he missed hanging out with the girls in his friend group. They had all been so busy this year, they had barely had any time at all too. It felt nice, to just laugh about stupid things again.

"See? This is why you need to live in a dorm. So you can laugh about stupid things and make some new friends," Yami said.

"What? Do you think we're bad influences on him or something?" Malik asked like he was offended.

"Yes…yes," Atem and Yami said.

"I'm hurt. You cut me deep, you cut me real deep there."

"Malik, you're the worst influence on him," Rebecca said huffing in annoyance.

"Good. Someone needed to be. Before we met him he was this sweet innocent little goody two shoes."

"I was not! I had my moments of devilry. They weren't as good as yours, mind you, but I did have my moments."

"Name one time."

"October 7, 2006."

It was silent as Malik went from slightly tan to a bright red. Rebecca laughed into her hand, trying to contain the laughter and stop it from getting too loud. Penny just looked confused along with his mates.

"What happened?"

"Sorry, I swore a vow to never repeat the details to another living or unliving soul again."

"I don't think unliving is a word," Atem said.

"We were nine. We hardly cared about our grammar back then."

"Let alone could spell half the words we were saying," Rebecca added.

The bell suddenly rang, and Yugi sprung up from his chair. He haphazardly shoved his books into his bag, grabbed Penny's hand and sprinted from the room. It was easy for Atem and Yami to keep up with them, now that they knew where they were going. They didn't have to guess like that first time.

Yugi held the elevator doors open for them, and any early arriving members. This was the last meet he was attending after all. Actually, when some of the members saw him and Penny already in the elevator, he thought they'd be happy. They weren't. They ended up shoving the both of them out, and going down with his mates.

"Did they not want us to go?" Yugi asked confused.

"I just think they didn't want us to be first."

"But did they have to take my lover?"

"They're probably forcing them to do manual labor."

So, whatcha doin?

Manual labor.

"Dead on the target."

"I'm just that good," she said flipping her hair slightly.

"You're here early," a voice said from behind them. It was one of the Lang twins.

"Are we not supposed to be?" Penny asked.

They shrugged. "Why are you standing out here?"

"We were literally shoved out of the elevator," Yugi said.

"Why?"

"Who knows," Penny shrugged as they heard the elevator doors close behind them. They both whipped around to see it going down.

"Okay, what're you planning?" Penny asked turning back around.

"Nothing," they answered at the same time.

"Come on guys."

"Seriously it's nothing."

Okay, they say you can come down now.

"Come on, Penny, the underclassmen say it's okay to go down the elevator now."

"And it wasn't safe before because…?"

He shrugged, "who knows?"

They headed to the elevator and waited for it to come back up. Once all four had entered they pushed the basement level, and took the ride down. When the doors opened they were hit with colors and noise. All of it was too much at once, but once it had calmed down slightly, they saw that it was a little party for them, the seniors. How sweet.

Someone said they only had 45 minutes until the end of lunch, so they needed to do this party thing quickly. Yugi spotted a cake, and had it all cut up before anyone knew what had happened. What? He was hungry. But what made him happy was seeing that there was no chocolate in it, not even the frosting. Yes! He could eat it!

"We didn't even get a picture of it, yet!" someone complained.

"So take one now. It's still technically in one form you know," Penny said.

"Whatever," they said back. A few flashes of a camera later and they were satisfied, even if some seniors had stared to dig into it before it was even finished. Hey, the seniors were hungry.

A couple of freshmen walked forward shyly to give them a couple of gifts. They were accepted graciously, and opened quickly. Penny had received an outfit that was all to her tastes, and all plaid. Yugi received a Dark Magician of Chaos blanket. He tackled the poor freshmen to the ground he was so happy with his gift. Atem, Yami, Penny, and some random werewolf had to pull him off. The freshmen joked that it wasn't every day you got hugged by the big KOG. Last, Kros received a new pair of headphones to replace his last, which he had blown up the speakers on.

After that, they all just sat around talking, and reminiscing about all the good times. Music was playing lightly in the background. It was just one big good time. There weren't any duels oddly enough, but that didn't bother anyone. They were having too much fun to care about it.

Penny and Yugi stumbled from the elevator laughing. They then split up, Penny to her Biology class, and Yugi to another free period. He decided to use it to look up videos on YouTube about the hazards of drunk driving. He had to include at least one in his paper. He was slowly growing bored as he watched educational video after educational video. He just started following the links until he found one that said dumbest thief calls back victim prank. Absolutely nothing to do with drunk driving right? But bored people do random things, so he clicked on it, and couldn't stop laughing.

The link led him to another and another, and another, and they were all hilarious. He looked up who did these and found they were by some guy named OwnagePranks. He did the voice for every one of the characters, and he found himself actually feeling bad for the loan guy. Still common sense? He should have put do not call on Sundays. So people, who were easily amused like this guy, didn't keep calling him back. And that poor guy who just wanted his room, not a roommate, had some interesting friends. He sure hoped his friends never did anything like this to him. He wouldn't put it past Malik though. He would definitely do something like this to him. He was currently watching one about an Asian babysitter. He was dying of laughter, and when he became an official parent, he would never hire a guy like this. Ever.

"I never knew that drunk driving could be so amusing," Yami said sitting next to him.

It's not, but this video is. It's about this guy acting like an Asian guy and he's applying for a babysitting job. He's going about it all the wrong way though. Oh, I sure hope this guys doesn't hire him.

"Aren't you supposed to be looking up videos for your paper that's due on Friday?" Atem asked.

Yes, but I got bored, and I saw this link to a video about dumbest thief calls back victim prank. So I clicked on it?

"Well, you have your physics exam in three minutes so we thought maybe you would want to start heading that way."

Ah, okay. I'll finish watching this later.

"Can't stop laughing huh?" Yami asked.

No…

"Well, you've got three minutes to settle down."

Okay. I think I can do, pfft, it.

"He can't do it."

"Nope!"

"He's going to walk into Physics still snickering," Yami said shaking his head.

"They were funny!" Yugi said aloud.

"If you say so."

"I do. Know what? You guys are going to sit down and watch one with me tonight. We'll watch the university roommate rage prank."

"No, because we have that thing we told you about this morning to do after we get out of school today."

"What thing?"

"This morning? We told you about it?"

"This morning? Are you sure?"

"Yes, we made a point to tell you about it."

"Uh, you didn't tell me about anything."

"Yami! You were supposed to tell him!"

"No, you were!"

"No we agreed you would!"

"No, Atem, you volunteered for it. Besides you're older. So you're obligated to tell him."

"I'm older so I'm obligated? What kind of bologna is that?"

"Uh, I'm gonna go take my physics exam now, in case you're interested in knowing," Yugi tried butting in.

"The good kind. It means I don't have to tell him."

"Apparently not." He turned and entered the classroom. He walked over to his seat as the teacher looked outside of the classroom at his mates. They were still arguing back and forth. Now about how since Yami was younger, he was obligated to listen to Atem. And to tell Yugi, whatever it was they had neglected to tell him this morning. He sighed and walked over to the door shutting it.

The exam was handed out and everyone started to work on it. The good thing about their school was that you were allowed to listen to music, if you brought it, while taking exams. The music had to be preapproved first, and signed off on. You know, to make sure no one had cheat sheets on their tracks. Yugi took out his IPod and turned it onto Red, before settling down and getting started on the exam.

[Time skip]

Yugi sat back in his chair, listening to Falling Sky. He was done with his test, something which their teacher noticed. He came over, collected his paper and then yanked one of his head phones out.

"Move them, they're disturbing the other students, and not just in this class alone," he said pointing at the door. Their conversation had turned into yelling, and they weren't even discussing the thing they had forgotten to mention this morning anymore. It sounded like they were yelling about who was more irresponsible Atem or Yami. He sighed and nodded. He walked over to the door and opened it, quickly slipping out before shutting again. He put his head phone back in his ear, swung his bag over his shoulders and walked towards the in a confident way.

He seized one ear on each vampire and proceeded to drag them away from the rooms that were being used for exams, and to a more quiet part of the school. He couldn't hear any complaints, if there were any, he had his music turned up. He didn't want to hear any complaints anyway. He took them to the cafeteria, no one was there. He flopped down at a table and just leaned against it like he owned it. He looked up at them to see them rubbing their ears, served them right in Yugi's opinion.

Did you have to be so brutal?

That really hurt, Yugi.

Deal with it. Now, what's this thing?

You tell him.

No! You do it!

You!

You!

Yugi ripped his headphones out of his ears, "ENOUGH! Someone had best tell me or so help me I will do something drastic."

"Ooo, can we watch?" someone asked from the doorway laughing.

Yugi gave them the look he usually saved for Atem and Yami. The one that demanded obedience. They froze for a second before beating it. They were tripping over themselves trying to get away.

"Well?" he pushed looking at the two in question.

"Um, well, you see, there's a problem in Hiroshima…" Yami started.

"And we need to go down there tonight, and settle the dispute," Atem finished.

"I'm coming. Ra knows you can't solve your own problems."

"No, you have to stay here. You have school tomorrow."

"I'm coming."

"No, you're staying."

"Are you going to make me?"

"If we have to, yes," Atem replied firmly.

"Ugh, but you don't understand," Yugi sighed turning away. "I want you in my bed tonight. I don't want to sleep alone."

"You won't have to either. We just need to survey the scene, assess the damage, and then we're turning right back around and coming home." Yami assured.

"Scene? Damage? What exactly happened?"

"Some Hunters found one of our blood banks, and from what we can understand did a hefty amount of damage. They were stopped and arrested, but they still made a huge dent in our supplies down in Hiroshima." Atem explained.

"I see. But don't promise me you'll be home by the time I go to sleep. We both know you can never keep your promises. Especially the ones you make to me."

"We will be home, Yugi. We'll be here when you awake at the very least."

"Don't…just don't."

"Fine, we won't promise, but we will try," Yami said wrapping his arms around him.

"Okay," he answered leaning into him. "I'll wait here."

"Thank you, you're usually not this understanding when you're pregnant."

"Consider it a rare stroke of luck. Also, I want something to suck on."

They burst out laughing, the cravings would never end. Atem vanished and came back a moment later with an already unwrapped sucker. It looked wet, and smaller than it was supposed to, as if someone had already been sucking on it. Yugi made a displeased face.

"What? It's something to suck on isn't it?"

"Not if someone has already been sucking on it!" Yugi said throwing a random piece of garbage at him.

"Hey! Don't throw things at me!"

"Baka vampire."

"Silly human."

[Time skip]

Yugi was bored, this was fact. He had finished his research paper, and was all studied out for the rest of the finals that he had left. He got up and wandered out his room and down to the kitchens. They were in an uproar about something, so Yugi was easily able to sneak in and out unnoticed. He drank his cranberry juice as he made his way through the halls. He really just needed someone to talk to, and he had been told that Mahad was down here somewhere, so he was searching for him. He was passing a cracked doorway when he heard the hushed voice of his sister. He stopped and back up, peeking through the crack.

"…shouldn't be here, it's way too dangerous," Mahad was saying.

"I couldn't help it, I had to see you. Besides you sounded hungry over the phone," Sakura said back, her hand on his chest.

"Sakura, I feed from you once a month, not every week like I'm supposed to, of course I'm going to sound hungry."

"Mahad, I'm not sure how much longer I can do this. I can only imagine what Yugi's going to say when he finds out."

"I'm more worried about you at the moment. How do you know you weren't followed?"

"I ditched them, trust me."

"This is too risky. They're already suspicious of you, you've said so yourself. You need to leave."

"No, not before I feed you first. I ate some broccoli before I came over, so I know I have enough."

"Fine, but then you leave. I'll see you this weekend for our date," Mahad said softly before tilting back his sister's head and plunging his fangs into her neck. She gripped his shirt, pulling herself closer to him, as if she needed him to be closer. He pulled out, closing his holes and cleaning her neck with long and slow tongue movements.

She took advantage of the closeness to connect her lips with his. They made out like two long lost lovers finding one another again. But, how long had this been going on for? How long had Sakura been living this double life? How was it no one had noticed?

CRASH!

The two yanked apart as Yugi looked down at his cranberry juice staining the carpet. It was running through it, soaking it in. Red on white, like blood on skin. He looked back up at Sakura, to see fear in her eyes. "You…hypocrite," he whispered before fainting to land right beside the juice.

[Time skip]

"What are we going to do? Someone's going to come looking for my baby brother eventually. We can't keep him locked up in this room forever," Sakura's voice said her feet moving like she was pacing back and forth.

"We just have to get him to be quiet until you can leave the Organization peacefully," Mahad tried assuring her.

"You honestly think I want my sister dead?" he asked opening his eyes.

"You won't tell?" Sakura asked coming into his line of vision, hope on her face.

"No, but you said that they were following you. They know something's up."

"They only know hearsay," she complained turning away from him.

"Hearsay turns to rumors. Rumors turns to facts. Facts can have you killed."

"I'm planning on getting out after you have your children, okay."

"Sakura, that's too late. Who's to say you won't be dead by then?"

"Because I have him. Mahad is…my vampire. I really like him, Yugi. I have since the first moment I laid eyes on him."

"This is a mess," Mahad sighed.

"I agree to that," Yugi said.

"So, you're okay with this?" Sakura asked looking at her shoes.

"No, and I'm gonna do everything in my power to split the two of you up," He said giving her a pointed look. "Even though I'm doing the same thing. I'm going to choose my own happiness over yours, and try to get rid of Mahad, okay?"

"Yugi…"

He sighed, "Just…how long has this been going on?"

"Nearly five months now."

"Five months? No wonder you have reported anything to your Head. If they even had a whiff of you collaborating with vampires, they'd probably strangle you right there."

"Yes, I know. However, I've been communicating with them over telephone, so I think it's okay."

"I think you should get out now. Don't wait any longer, just ditch them now. So you don't have to keep all this a secret."

"Yeah, but I can just hear Heba now. Oh, the teasing would never end."

"Then you can just torment him back about liking Isis."

"You're joking."

"Nope, he likes her. Thinks she's cute when she's mad."

"Oh, wow, that's gold."

"Heh heh."

"So, are we back to being siblings now?" she asked hopefully.

"No. It's going to take a long time until we can get back to that point again. It's going to take a long time for me to see you as family again. Let me know when you've dropped the Organization like a bad habit, and then we'll talk about being siblings again. Until then, farewell and good luck. You're going to need every drop of it that you can get." He got up off of the couch and walked towards the door.

"Yugi!"

"You know I still love you, right? That is one thing that will never change. I will always love my big sis, Saki," he said looking back at her before leaving.

"I love you too." She whispered before he heard her start to cry.

He raced back to his room, and burst through the door. They were sitting on the bed, tossing a strange purplish black ball back and forth. What was odder was that this ball, it seemed to be changing shapes occasionally. Square, triangle, pentagon, circle, octagon, circle, square, circle, mermaid, pentagon, circle, wait mermaid? What the-? The thing vanished as Yami noticed him first.

"Where've you been?"

"Do you have any idea what time it is?" Atem asked.

"Uh, probably late," he said before tears started to bubble up and spill over his cheeks like a dam breaking and a river releasing.

"Uh, wait, we didn't sound that harsh," Yami said freaking out.

He dove into Atem's lap, crying onto his shoulder. Atem had no choice but to hold, albeit confused, but hold him none the less. Yami rubbed his back as he just bawled his eyes out, not even saying a word. It was so sudden and unexpected no one had any words. He cried the rest of the night away, his eyes puffy and red by morning, and still he wouldn't say why.

He couldn't say why. If they knew? If anyone knew… Yugi fought back the tears as more wanted to come. This wasn't fair. If only he had never found out. Why hadn't they closed the door? Why did he have to see that? Why? He had two free periods to start off his day, and he used them to cry onto a confused Yami's shoulder. They had no idea what was going on, and Yugi couldn't even share it. Life was so unfair.

[Time skip]

"Yugi," Mahad called to him from down the hallway.

He hadn't stopped crying all week, and even his friends were starting to get worried. He just couldn't deal with this stress. Mahad was holding out a bottle of water to him, FBR-18 written clearly on the label.

"Would it help you to just forget?"

"No. No it wouldn't."

"Then what can I do? You're not talking about it to anyone, and you're mates are at their wits end."

"Why did you bite her?"

"She asked me to." His answer rang with pure honesty.

"What? Why?"

"She said she'd been looking for a way out of the Organization for several months now, ever since they told her to choose between the two of you. She says she made a horrible mistake of choosing them, for that one tiny fractional moment, over you. She regrets it. She figured, if a vampire bit her, she'd have all the reasoning she needed, and then you wound up pregnant. That put her in a very compromising position. If she left the Organization, there was a chance they would hurt you, physically. She's always put you first, I know it doesn't seem that way, but she has. So, she stayed in, to hide that from them. They know now, everyone does, but she was able to write it off as not knowing. As never having been told. After all, you guys aren't even talking, so why would you tell her anything? Still, by staying in the Organization, she's kept them away from you. She did all that for you, Yugi."

"I…never knew."

"You never gave her a chance to tell you either."

"Whatever."

"Can you do us a favor and stop crying? I know you're worried about her, I am too, but crying isn't helping anything or anyone."

"I know, but, I can't help it. The stress of having to keep it bottled up is affecting my hormones, and then I react by crying."

"So tell someone."

"Who? Who can I possibly tell that will keep it a secret? Who will care enou-?" he cut himself off. He knew who he could tell. Who would care enough to take it their grave like him.

"I see you answered your own question."

"Thanks, Mahad," Yugi said giving him a hug. He then turned and headed for the front entrance, just turning the corner as a servant came around the other one.

"There you are. Have you found the Prince yet?"

"Yes, he's going to see his Grandpa. I think he's missed him."

"Oh, uh, okay."

Yugi smiled before using his extra speed to get there quickly.

[Time skip]

After confessing all his troubles about Sakura to his Grandpa, Yugi felt better. He could tell his Grandpa's blood pressure just rose, but at least he wasn't carrying the burden alone anymore. He felt relieved, and the stress flowed right out of him. He ended up staying the night, and going back the next morning.

Atem and Yami asked him if he enjoyed his time at his Grandfather's. He answered yes, before feeding them, eating a bowl of soup and then going out with his friends. Everyone but Jou had the next week off, but Kaiba and Seth had decided to attend classes with him. They were just that nice. As for the rest of them, they shopped for supplies that they would need for their three month trip around the world. The week flew by and before anyone knew it, it was June, and graduation day.

So, sorry that it's been around, eh, two months since my last update? That sounds about right. I've been interviewing for a new job like crazy, and it's consumed a lot of my free time. I've been unsuccessful in acquiring one, but it's the effort that counts. My hours have been bumped up at work again too. Again, so sorry for the late update. I hope you guys enjoyed it, and I can only assume that I was upset when I started to write which explains the beginning. Thanks for sticking with me, even in my silence. The next chapter is going to be even longer than this one, so bear with me. Thank you to everyone who have/are favorited/following this story. Also, thank you to everyone who reviewed Guest and User alike. Please review. Midnight ;p
