Miss Harris strolled through the streets, Orrin by her side. They both frowned at the crunched buildings and slit streets. "What the hell happened here?" Harris exclaimed. Orrin jittered his fingers.
"I'm afraid the city may have gone into epic battle..." he quavered. Miss Harris' eyes turned to slits as she spotted a giant black leg fling above a building. A spider? A robot?
"What is THAT?" she decided to ask the advanced one, pointing to the fight. Orrin's eyes widened. Just judging by the leg, that thing looked as big as the Peace Keeper.
"A-a-a giant *gulp* killing *gulp* machine?" with out meaning to, their steps became faster and more hurried.
"Would-"
"Astro be fighting it? I'm placing my bets."
Their walking soon turned into a sprint, racing for shelter as debris started to be seen, getting flung high above the buildings. "Where are we going?" asked Harris.
"My news scanners say that we must report home and stay until the battle is over." Orrin reported.
"Isn't that Tenma's house up ahead?" she asked, pointing to the chipped building in the distance. Orrin's face lit up.
"Yes! Hopefully Master- Dr- Bill is there..." he said in a clutter of different names. Miss Harris frowned, but kept a steady pace.
"Then we should go there first?" she asked.
"No, I'll take you to your house first. It's my duty to make sure you're safe." Miss Harris nodded, slowing down a bit to make sure she didn't miss the turn off to her house.
The teens spilled out onto the road, looking around. "Would she be at the school?" Zane asked.
"Does she even leave?" Ember mumbled.
"WAIT..." Stacy froze on the spot, causing the rest to look at her. "Teachers DON'T live in schools?" they shook their heads with a snicker. Stacy scratched her head in confusion.
"Ahhhh, Stacy," Cora shook her head, placing a hand on her shoulder. "You have alot to learn." They all laughed again, starting to walk along the street.
"Yeah, but...haven't you guys like, never been to school?" Conner asked in interest and tad bit of disbelief. Cora and Zane shoved their hands in their pockets smugly.
"Nope." Said Zane proudly. "First time here." Cora elbowed him.
"I have been to school before, thank you very much." Zane frowned.
"Yeah...cos you're from Metro City..." while the others pulled ahead, Zane stopped. Cora turned to him. "Why didn't you tell us?" he asked. Cora's breath was caught into her throat.
What was she meant to say? She was just self conscious about that. Her family was something she always kept secret, because she was almost embarrassed by the fact that she ran away. Like she wasn't as tough as they saw her.
She took a deep breath, running an answer through her head, when something stopped her, making her heart pound.
A police siren.
They all stopped in their tracks, darted their heads to down the road. There, a police car was making it's way towards them. All at once they groaned, their heads pulling back to the sky or dropping to the pavement. The car pulled up next to them, and a man stuck his head out the window.
"You all shouldn't be out here!" he ordered. "Can't you see Metro City's falling apart?"
Ember glanced to Bruss.
'We're DEAD.' He mouthed.
"I'm going to have to take you lot home, understand? Now get in!" they all gasped and looked to each other franticly.
"No, sir! You see, Astro sent us to retrieve-"
"No excuses!" the man interrupted. "Get in! Or do I have to make you?"
Ember sighed. They we're dead.
Hamegg stood up slowly, eyeing the fight in front of him. Trashcan merrily trotted over to the car and leapt in, waiting for his Master to follow. Instead, he heard an order.
"Trashcan! Bring me the Spybots!" with a tilt of his head first off, the loyal robot scooped up the suitcase handle in his mouth from finding it below the seat. He waltzed over Hamegg and dropped it by his side. Hamegg quickly grabbed it up and aimed it for the BlackBott, his eyes narrowed. He watched for a moment as Astro and Zoran brang the machine a little closer, better for target. With a small grunt, he flung the case over. After many spins, the silver case lodged into one of the bot's claws. Quickly he took out the small remote and pressed down on the button.
Black laughed more as he flung his arm over to Astro, attempting to snatch him. With a yelp he flew out of the way, but not fast enough. The claw grabbed him, putting more and more pressure on the more the robot struggled. Zoran became slower, loosing her breath. Astro winced, trying to get his arm cannon to activate, or his rocket boots, but to no avail. But, without Black knowing, the Spybots were starting to emerge. they crawled along the black metal of the mechanical limb, climbing to reach the chest of the BlackBott. Once finding the entrance, the small robots got to work, destroying the wires and circuitry. Suddenly the limb holding Astro loosened and dropped, lifeless. Astro fell to the ground, holding his chest and gasping. Black cursed, looking at his data screen. He scowled as it showed a disturbance. "Wanna play it that way, huh?" he growled. Hamegg quickly got into his car with Trashcan, pulling it away as the shield was charging up. As Astro ran to Zoran the BlackBott let out a massive outburst of red energy, causing the two to smash into the building, side by side. The poor Spybots screeched high pitched squeals as the energy burned them to a sizzling crisp. Astro winced.
"Y-you okay?" he asked his sister.
"DO I LOOK OKAY?"
Cora looked to the gang, biting her lip. The officer was becoming increasingly impatient. "In the car, NOW!" he ordered.
"We're going, we're going..." Zane grumbled, climbing into the car followed by Zibby, Stacy and Lisa. Bruss folded his arms.
"No fair..." he hissed, while the rest of them piled in. Soon the door slammed closed and the car was moving at a fast pace, screaming down the roads.
"What in the world were you kids doing out there on your own at this time of crisis?" the man scoffed. Bruss sunk lower in his seat.
"We WERE going to save the day, but thank to YOU, it looks like Astro is officially doomed..." the man didn't answer, only shaking his head.
"Were do you live? Which one's house is closest?" he asked instead.
"Metro Apartments..." Cora mumbled.
"Right."
SMASH!
They all tensed as they heard a loud explosion, and soon after a massive slab of metal sliced into the road in front of them. "AHHHH!" with a squeal of the brakes the officer tried to stop in time, but the car was traveling at a much too greater speed. They all jolted forward as the bonnet smashed into the piece of debris, the air bags deploying. They all groaned, slugging over each other as their heads went dizzy. Luckily the modern car caused any injury.
Orrin and Harris walked along the road, until the robot stretched out his arm. "What is that?" he asked. Miss Harris followed his sight until her eyes laid upon a police car. It was smashed into a piece of debris. Orrin became frantic.
"OH MY GOD! They crashed! What is they're dead? We have to help!"
"Their fault for not looking," Miss Harris mumbled, but Orrin was already rolling quickly over to the crash.
Zibby groaned and looked out the window. She frowned. "What's that robot coming towards us?"
"Not the BlackBott, is it?" Cora asked franticly. She shook her head. They all looked out to the road to Orrin, approaching the door. Zane gasped.
"Orrin!" the house bot pulled the door open, letting the teens spill out one by one. Ember leaned over the seat, tapping the police officer on the shoulder. He only groaned, remaining unconscious. She raised an eyebrow, following the others. As they saw Miss Harris, their eyes widened.
"MISS HARRIS!" they yelled in glee. The woman's forehead creased, not sure why a kid would ever be happy to see her. She rolled her eyes, reaching the group with hands on hips. "What do you lot want?" she snapped. Conner came up.
"Miss, I'm very sorry, but we need your dis-power machine." As soon as he said the words, the principle clutched her pocket defensively, drawing away. "Only for a few minutes! The outcome of this battle and the future of Metro City depends on it!" she looked to the pleading faces of the different girls and boys in front of her. "Please?" she took a deep breath, then sighed, taking the dis-power machine out. She held it out to Conner who gladly took it carefully.
"FINE." she hissed. The group broke into smiles, doing small celebrations quietly like punching their fists up. "But bring it back to me straight away!"
"YES MISS!" they all replied. Orrin walked up to her, leading the way to her house.
"Come, Miss. You must find shelter," he ordered kindly. Harris gave the group one more death glare before catching up with Orrin.
"I'm warning you!" she called. "In one piece!"
Once she was gone the group rolled their eyes, starting to run towards the fight. Cora looked back to Conner, fidgeting with the small device. "Chuck it here," she called. Before the nerd could respond, Bruss snatched it out of his hands and passed it instead.
"Eagar much," he muttered.
"You're too slow." Bruss sneered. Stacy and Lisa were slowing down more and more, their lips starting to twitch. Cora slid the infection chips from her pocket carefully, and tipped them into the small opening on the top of the machine. After she closed it tight with a sure nod. Zane twisted around to the Blondies, becoming anxious at their speed. "Com'on guys! Keep up!"
"I'm just running the idea through my mind that we are about to take on a giant monster robot killer!" Lisa gasped out.
"We're not fighting it, Astro and Zoran are." Reassured Bruss, shaking his head.
"I still don't blame you for being scared," Cora called back.
"I'd be worried if you weren't." Ember mumbled.
Soon they could hear the rumbles of cannon fire and destruction much clearer. They group started to slow down as they approached the fight, finally stopping at a building corner, backs against the wall, breathing heavily. The battle was just around the corner.
Their chests throbbed.
Their feet twitched.
Conner took a gulp, looking to Zane. "T-this is it?" Zane looked to Cora and Ember. They nodded.
"This is it," Cora confirmed.
"Lets END THIS!" Bruss cheered.
"Okay, I'll try and get this directly to Astro or Zoran. You guys maybe distract-"
"DISTRACT?" Zibby screeched. She shot her arm out as a lashing black leg slithered out into their view. "THAT THING?"
"This is very rough, okay?"
"Then what's the good copy plan?" Bruss asked. Cora shrugged.
"I guess we just see how it goes. Everyone got it?" they all shared scared glanced, but shrugged anyway.
"Could give it a shot."
"Great! Just remember the key point to making this plan work- succeed." Zane finished. Zibby was still frantic.
"You guys are crazy! We barely have no plan, that thing out there is HUGE, we have a 65% that it will all go wrong and-!" Cora cupped a hand over her mouth.
"Just go with it, Zibby." And with that, she leapt out onto the battle field, Zane following closely after.
Astro zoomed down to the dead arm, pulling and lifting it up. "TAKE...THIS!" he yelled, spinning and ripping it off. While Black cursed, the robot heard someone yelling from below.
"ASTRO!" he looked down to see Cora, waving the dis-power machine above her head. Zoran was still recovering from the smash into the wall, rubbing her back and coughing. Astro's eyes widened as he zoomed down to her, seeing Zane arise from the mist as well. "Cora?" he asked in surprise. She rolled her eyes.
"Oh nah," she said sarcastically. She slammed the device into his hands "We got the dis-power machine!"
"Great!" he praised, "Now get out of here before the-"
SMACK!
A BlackBott leg swung into the small robot's side, slamming him across the road. Cora gasped in shock, not knowing what to do. The dis-power machine skidded along the pavement. Cora ran along the other side of the killer robot, yelling, "ZANE! GO GET THE DIS-POWER MACHINE!"
"Got it!" he nodded, sprinting flat out.
Bruss looked to the Blondies, quivering in a bunch. He rolled his eyes and ran up with Cora over to Zoran. "Zoran, you okay?" she asked, lightly touching her on the shoulder.
"Astro got hit, didn't he?" she asked, looking to her. Cora bit her lip.
"Yeah...did that hurt?"
"YES!" she whined. Cora smiled, looking to Bruss, panting up. Zoran's eyes narrowed.
"Whuzup?" he asked in a gasp.
"You again?" she snapped.
"No, it's okay. He's on our side now."
"CORA! CATCH!" they all spun around to the yell from the Surface dweller just in time to see the little white blur of the dis-power machine coming at them.
"What the-?" Bruss jumped up and snatched it out of the air, running around the side of the road.
"LITTLE WARNING NEXT TIME!" they both yelled. Zoran gasped in delight.
"You got the dis-power machine?" she asked gleefully. Cora nodded.
"Yep, and we're gonna win this thing!"
Bruss ran up to Astro who was getting helped up by Zane. The BlackBott raised its claw above them, ready to slam down. "Look out!" Astro grabbed him and took flight, rising high into the sky and spinning back around. Zane was completely freaked out, grabbing onto his shoulders franticly.
"AHHH!" he screamed. Bruss aimed for a throw as Black was distracted by the flying hero, and surged the device up in the air.
"ASTRO!" he called. Zane reached out and grabbed it.
"I GOT IT!" he called. Black leaned forward in his seat, eyes narrowing.
"A dis-power machine, ay?" he growled. An arm shot out snatching to pull them out of the sky. Zane let out a yelp and dropped it absentmindedly. "Uh-oh..." he swallowed. Zoran gasped and bolted into action, zooming over and attempting to grab it, only for Conner to zoom up on his hover board and snatch it. Astro breathed a sigh of relief, surging upwards to escape Black. Conner flew with him. "Pretty cool to fly!" he exclaimed. Astro grinned and nodded. Zane however...
"Dude...*gulp*, I don't feel so good..." Astro looked to see a very green Zane. With a small chuckle he landed smoothly, watching the BlackBott spin in a kinda of directions to keep up with Conner, flying everywhere. Only Astro saw something that struck him with terror. The small shield on top of the BlackBott was charging up, ready for another outburst. He gasped. "The force fields gonna blow..." he whispered. Zane overheard, shooting his head to him.
"W-what?" he gasped out. While Black couldn't see, Astro changed his arm into his trusty cannon and aimed it straight for that annoying little post sticking out. Only seconds and his friends would all be doomed to the red energy. Steadying his arm, he took fire. Time seemed to slow down as the orb of blue energy made its way over to the shield projector, every once of the boy robot's body hoping it would lad on target.
SMASH!
"YES!" he punched his fist in the air as the projector blew off it with a 'twang'.
Conner threw the device to a running Zoran, who took it with a twirl. "I CAUGHT IT!" she squealed in delight. Zoran raced around the robot, until she heard a loud car honk. There to her side was Tenma, Z and the twins! She gasped with a smile as they drove close to her. "Pass it Zoran!" Sluch and Widget shouted, hanging out of the door. Zoran chucked it, and it slipped and bounced off both hands before they grabbed it together. Unfortunately, when they looked up, they saw a giant claw in front of them. "AHHH!" both pulling back in, Z swerved the car but Black got hold of the bonnet, the metal crunching.
"AHH, TENMA. THE MAN EVERYBODY WANTS KILLED." Tenma narrowed his eyes. Z leaned over to him with a scowl.
"You really do have a alot to tell, don't you?" she hissed. Astro flew up behind him, poised to strike.
"STAY OFF MY DAD!" he yelled, smashing his fist down on the black steel. Black looked up from his cockpit, a raised eyebrow.
"Oh no, stop. That's really hurting, stop it," he said flatly. With a grin he raised an arm up and flicked Astro away, performing many flips in the air before steady. He scowled, powering at full speed at the arm holding the car. Black, still thinking the shield was operational, got a claw up ready to electrocute him as soon as he got near. But Astro smashed the arm out of the way with no problem. Black scowled, wondering what was wrong. Looking to his dashboard, he yelped out.
"My shield! Its gone!" he whined. The car shot forward, Z turning it down to Zane who was running a few meters under, passing the Blondies. Sluch tackled it off of Widget and prepared to throw it down. "Don't miss!" Zane called. With a swing of his arm Sluch threw the dis-power machine down. Zane jumped up and reached for it, only for it just to miss his hand. His eyes bulged out as he watched it surge over...into the hands of Lisa. She stood there for a moment, looking at it, then broke into a dance. "I caught it! I actually caught it!" she squeaked. Suddenly the BlackBott came running for her. She froze up, letting out a scream. Zane leapt out of the way, and Ember reached over Lisa's shoulder, taking the dis-power machine into her own hands. While the Blondie raced back to safety, Ember simply held her arm above her head. Zibby stared at her. "What are you DOING?" she asked in horror.
Right before the BlackBott could reach her, Astro zoomed past and lifted her up from the ground. "Could maybe give me a little shout then just wait for me to notice!" he grumbled. Ember laughed, kicking her feet as she glided through the air.
"I knew you would come. All good hero's do, they just have this automatic radar that tells them if someone's in trouble," she explained. Astro thought for a moment, then nodded his head.
"Huh, you're right." With a smile Astro skidded down to the pavement, dropping Ember and taking the life saving machine out of her hand.
"GO SON!" Tenma yelled from the car.
Zoran, Cora and Bruss stood there, watching the fight until they were rudely interrupted by a flinging robotic leg, smashing into the wall above them. Slabs of concrete started falling down, and they quickly moved out of the way...but one not fast enough. As the dust cleared Cora and Bruss gasped as they saw Zoran under three slabs of the building, coughing and groaned.
"ZORAN!" they yelped, running up to her side.
Astro winced and his flying dropped as he felt a very sharp pain in his back. He looked down to the scene and gasped in shock. "Zoran!" avoiding three swooping legs, Astro quickly landed near his sister, passing the dis-power machine carelessly to Bruss. But as he lifted one piece he felt a grab at his pant leg. He squatted down to Zoran, her face barely visible.
"Go and finish the battle!" she urged.
"That can wait, Zoran! I'm not going until you're free!" she pushed him away.
"No! Now's not the time to be heroic, Astro! Be smart! Go destroy the BlackBott! I'm not gonna die!" Astro felt the machine be placed firmly in his hand. He looked to Cora with a worried face.
"She's right, Astro. You have to make our efforts worth while." She said.
"But-!" she pulled a finger to his lips.
"But nothing, we'll be here with her the whole time. NOW GO!" been given a hard shove Astro shakily found his feet, but only got a few feet before a huge claw slammed down on him. Being careful not to crush the dis-power machine, Astro lifted it up and crunched it in his bare hands. It was a race against time now, and his family was in danger. NOTHING would stop him. With a zoom upwards, he faced Black.
Tenma and Z parked the car by Zane and the Blondies, winding down the window quickly. "Hurry kids! Get in the car!" Zane nodded and raced tot he back set, letting the Blondies in first. Soon they were all safely in the car. "Where is Cora and Zoran?" Tenma asked sternly. Zane looked out the window.
"Them and Bruss are still out there on the other side of the battle. They're trying to help Zoran out!" he gasped. "She's trapped!" Tenma punched the dashboard angrily, causing panic to swell up in the kids minds.
"What?" Zibby asked.
"W-what's gonna happen?" Widget quivered.
"The BlackBott's going to explode, that's what. I'm afraid the chances of humans surviving it is slim." They all looked to each other with horror.
"Oh Bill! We won't make it in time!" Z cried. Tenma just rested his head on his hand regretfully as the car pulled further away into the sky.
Astro zoomed above the BlackBott, poised ready to plug the dis-power machine in and end this once and for all. Without him knowing an arm came up, whacking him a few meters in the sky. He almost dropped it, but quickly grabbed onto it again with a breath of relief. Circling around once, he raised the machine above his head like a sword. "This ends NOW!" he yelled, letting his rocket boots turn off and letting himself just fall, dead straight headed for the pin point where he must inject it.
FALLING...FALLING...
CLICK.
As the dis-power machine was lodged in place, Astro quickly reactivated his rockets, boosting away. Black went crazy. "NO! YOU LITTLE BUGGER!" he screamed, pushing every button on his dashboard as the warning signals flashed up, the whole machine wobbling and red lights flashing everywhere. Astro did a victory flip, a huge grin on his face. "YES!" he cheered. But his smile slid as his eyes met Cora's, standing next to Bruss. Zoran was still trapped. With a gasp he looked around for help, but nothing could be done. The BlackBott would explode in less then thirty seconds. Breathing heavily, Astro thought like crazy if an idea was hidden somewhere in his mind to save his best friends and his sister.
Then...bingo.
Cora kneeled down to Zoran, stroking her forehead as she looked around. "It's gonna be okay, Zoran," she hushed.
"The BlackBott's destroyed?" she asked gleefully. Cora felt her cheeks heat up as tears streamed down her face. She nodded, looking to Bruss, who seemed just as scared. Zoran suddenly caught on, gasped.
"Run! Run you two, I'll be fine!"
"And I'm making sure of that." They all flinched and turned their heads at the sound of Astro's voice, seeing him hover in front of them.
"Dude, fly! Get out of here!" Bruss yelled, looking as pieces of the machine started to glow red from the bubbling energy ready to blow inside of it. Astro's only response was to drop to the ground, smashing something into the pavement as he did so.
BOOOOOOOM!
exploded in a fury of black metal and an up burst of flame. Tenma and the others in the car winced as the sonic boom made the vehicle wobble. Sad faces formed as the car slowly drove above the event.
In the Whale Ship, the scientists punched their fists in the air, letting out yells of triumph.
Zane and the twins watched...until a bright red shield arose from the dust. Zane's mouth dropped open. He pointed out the window. "T-they've survived! Ha-ha! They used the shield!" everyone looked to see themselves, and as soon as the red met their eyes they cheered, sighed deep breaths of relief. Tenma practically melted in his seat, slumping down, all the tension released. Z beeped the horn happily. "WOO!"
Cora and Bruss had their eyes closed, ducted down. "Are we dead yet?" Bruss asked through gritted teeth. Cora frowned and opened her eyes, looking around. She was surrounded by a red shield. She gasped and looked to Astro, still holding the small post in place on the ground. Quietly she stood, reaching out and brushing him on the shoulder. "You can let go now, Astro," she said calmly. With a slump of his shoulders, the tired robot boy released the projector from his grasp, the shield flickering and disappearing. He looked to her. Cora leapt up and hugged him, squeezing him tight. "We won again!" she cried. Astro barely managed to give the smallest hug back, and Cora couldn't blame him, quite frankly. She released him and grinned, looking down to Bruss, still huddled up like a mouse. She laughed and nudged him with her foot, causing his head to shoot up. "WHAT HAPPENED?" he asked franticly.
"Its okay, Bruss! Astro got the BlackBott's shield!" Bruss slowly got up, patting himself down as if checking if he still had any limbs. He grinned.
"We're still alive!" he cheered. A crunching of concrete made their heads snap over to Astro, lifting the pieces of debris from Zoran. Once all gone, the small girl slumbered upwards, rubbing her arms. With a small breath she enveloped Astro into a long hug. Astro hugged her back, squeezing his eyes shut. "You did it, Astro," she whispered.
"We did it," he corrected. She smiled. Z parked the car next to them, everyone pouring out and giving hugs. Z raced out and grabbed Zoran and Astro. After a quick hug and kiss, she went on with her motherly deeds...
"Are you hurt?"
"No, mom." They both said tiredly.
"Do you feel okay?"
"Yes."
"Any broken limbs?"
"No."
"Any problems?"
"NO."
"Do you have a temperature?"
"Z," Tenma called with a smile. She nodded her head, stepping out to peskier the other kids. Tenma kneeled down in front of Astro, looking him in the eye.
"I am so proud of you, my son." He said solemnly. Astro smiled. "You are truly my most greatest creation, and don't you ever doubt that I see you any less." Astro wrapped his arms around his farther.
"Thanks dad," he whispered.
As the news spread, the people started to emerge from their houses, and soon a crowd formed along the road. The whole gang sat upon the car roof, smiling and waving as the people of the city cheered, the kids admired and the TV cameras filmed. Bruss was of course over doing it, blowing kisses to Astro's fan girls and putting on cheesy smiles for every camera stuck in his face. He seemed to lap up all the attention- which wasn't a surprise. Ember was the complete opposite, pushing people off the sides of the car and hiding her face. The Blondies didn't act as girly as Cora thought they would, just waving to people in the crowd. Conner was busy thrusting the dead shield projector above his head in triumph, and Zane was of course sending 'phone me' signals to every girl. Zoran was loving it, jumping up and trying to steal attention. Though, Astro was quiet, his legs tucked in, his half ripped t-shirt flapping in the breeze. He just smiled at anyone, but didn't really seemed that bothered to be attention seeking. Cora adopted his tactic, just sitting quietly next to him along with Widget and Sluch.
"I could get used to this!" Bruss laughed, putting a hand out for high fives.
"Then you better sign up for more monster killing," Ember mumbled. Cora looked to Astro, staring at the sky.
"What are you looking for?" she asked.
"Orange squid aliens. I don't want to surprised this time." They all laughed. Cora edged a little closer.
"You don't seem to be much of an attention seeker, huh?" he looked at her.
"I guess I'm still a little shaken. I mean, it's quite tiring having to fight all these battles, and I'm a little concerned that it was all in the same kinda week. But I guess I never had people admire me before, or had much attention..." Cora smiled.
"Let me change that..." and that said, she pressed her lips against his. Astro froze for a second, then melted into her caress and closed his eyes. With a shine in her eyes Cora did the same. Everyone on the car stared at them for a while, not sure what to do. In fact, the whole crowd seemed to hush, some people gasping in shock. Cora's parents jaws were dropped to the floor. After a while they all cheered again, some of the fan girls running off crying. Cora pulled away and grinned. Astro blinked.
"Whoa..." with a laugh Cora settled against him, head on shoulder. While the Blondies were cooing and 'aww'-ing over them, Bruss and Zoran were just looking at each other with the widest eyes ever. Suddenly, out of the crowd came Trashcan, leaping everywhere. Cora gasped.
"Trashcan!" she exclaimed, leaning over and pulling him up. The dog went over to Zoran, and started to yap and bark at her. They all stared wondering what he was telling her.
"Uh-huh. Really? Cool! Oh? Huh... okay! Thanks!" with his work done the canine leapt onto the car bonnet, tongue out.
"Well?" asked Stacy.
"Well, firstly Hamegg helped us Astro! When you were getting crushed!" Astro frowned at this, but didn't say anything. "Also (here comes the good part), Stone is dead!"
"Really?" asked Zane. She nodded. They all cheered, and Astro smiled.
"Where's Hamegg now?" Cora asked. Zoran tilted her head.
"That's where Trashcan was confused. He doesn't know. He disappeared."
