Ash got down on all fours "You three again"
"It's been a while Ash" Brodie said, grinning
"Get out of here" Ash growled, his cheeks sparking as Bolt, Watt and Ashchu also got into a battle stance
"Oh, we're not leaving Ash" Lewis said, a smug smile on his face "Well, at least not without you and a couple of your friends"
"You are not taking any of us anywhere!" Gary said, reading a shadow ball
"Oh please" Brodie said, rolling his eyes "You think you can beat us?"
"Yeah, I remember kicking your butt last time we saw each other" Ash said, reading a thunderbolt and taking aim at Lewis
"You got lucky last time, Pikaboy!" Lewis sneered "Personally, I think we've waited long enough" the other two nodded
"Okay, send out your pokemon! We're ready" Ash said smugly.
"Oh, this isn't a pokemon battle" Lewis said, taking out his stun stick "Scatter!" with that, all the Cipher operatives went to work, Doug took stun stick of his own and went after Nubtup, Brodie went after Gary
"Okay, bring it on, Lewis!" Ash screamed, realising a thunderbolt straight at Lewis and then followed it up with a brick break, Lewis just grinned and dogded them both, ran up and grabbed Ash and injected him with something
"Good night, kiddo" he said grinning, Ash shook his head, trying to clear his head he raised his fist to try an attack, but he arm suddenly fell asleep, he stared at Lewis as his eyelids got heavier and heavier
"What did you do?" Ash asked, fighting to stay awake
"A little sedative" Lewis said, grabbing Ash by his tail, he tried to struggle but couldn't muster up the strength to do it
"You..." Ash said weakly
"Night night" Lewis whispered as Ash closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep

"Bolt, let go of me! I wanna help!" Ashchu yelled as Bolt dragged him to the other side if the field
"No, you stay here with Gen while I go help the others!" Bolt said, running off
"Hey, come on!" Ashchu yelled, Bolt ignored him as he went to fight "Hmph"
"You okay?" Gen asked, grabbing Ashchu's paw
"Yeah, I'm fine" he said "Just a little miffed" he gave Gen a little smile before they heard a bang and saw Bolt and Watt flying backwards "Bolt!" Ashchu yelled, running to his friends side "You okay?"
"Yeah" Bolt coughed "I'm okay"
"Me too" Watt said, rubbing his forehead as his little brother ran to his side
"Well well, look who here" a voice said from the ground
"Huh?" Ashchu said, turning around to see Dusknoir phasing out of the ground laughing, Ashchu growled and got down on all fours "Thunderbolt!"
"Protect" Dusknor said calmly, raising his hand, creating a barrier in front of him that deflected the attack "When will you understand, you can't beat me alone" he raised his hand, before getting blasted by white light
"Well, he ain't alone" Sceptile said, reading a leaf blade "Now get lost before I really get angry!" Dusknoir growled as he got up
"You don't scare me, tree-tail! Will-o-wisp!" he yelled as he threw a purple fireball at Sceptile, it got intercepted by a water gun attack
"Good job Squirtle" May said, as she, Max and Brock came running to the yard
"Pikachu, Ashchu you okay?" Brock asked, the two pikachu nodded and turned towards Dusknoir "Okay, Crobat, Air Slash" the bat nodded and shot two vissible blades of air at the ghost
"Squirtle, Ice Beam!" May yelled, Squirtle opened his mouth, realising the energy beam
"Pika pikachuuu! (Double Thunderbolt!)" Ashchu and Bolt yelled
"Solar Beam!" Sceptile yelled, taking in moonlight
"Protect!" Dusknoir screamed, but the barrier couldn't hold back five simultanios attacks. It shatterd as he was sent flying backwards
"Ha!" Ashchu said, sticking his tounge out at him, Duslnoir growled as he got up
"Dusknoir, we're leaving!" Lewis yelled, the ghost turned and floated to his trainer Ashchu looked at Lewis and gasped when he saw him holding a transparent ball with his brother inside
"Ash!" he yelled, running straight at Lewis, full speed he started to be engulfed by a veil of electricity
"What the heck?" Bolt said, awestruck "He's using Volt Tackle!"
"LET GO OF MY BROTHER!" Ashchu screamed, ramming into Lewis and throwing him to the ground
"Get off me!" Lewis growled, swatting Ashchu with his arm "Annoying rat" he grabbed the ball with Ash inside and ran to his companions side
"NO!" Ashchu screamed as Lewis gave his Gallade a quick nod
"Teleport!" Gallede shouted, and with a bright flash of pink light, the Cipher operatives were gone, taking their friends with them
"Ash..." Ashchu said weakly, before collapsing to his knees, Bolt ran to his side to try and comform him
"Hey, don't worry" Bolt said "We'll find them"
"How!?" Ashchu asked "They could be anywhere in Kanto. Heck, they could be in another region for all we know!"
"Maybe Lewis dropped something when you knocked him down" Bolt said, let's go look" Ashchu nodded and followed his friend
"What exactly are we looking for?" Ashchu asked
"Anything!" Bolt said "Lewis carried a lot of machines with him, maybe"
"I found something!" Ashchu yelled
"Really?" Bolt said rushing over "What?"
"This" Ashchu said, holding out the device. It looked like a run of the mill tablet, but the moment Ashchu's paw touched the screen it turned on, showing a map of the entire region
"Woah" Ashchu and Bolt said
"Guys, what are looking at!?" Max asked, walking over
"Pika pikachu!" Ashchu said, holding the tablet
"What is this?" Max said, grabbing the tablet from Ashchu's paw "It says, 'Track Target'" he tapped that part of the screen, a large green crosshair flew over the map landing on Cinnabar Island
"TARGET:ASH KETCHUM" the tracker's voice said, causing all of them to huddle around it "LOCATION: CINNABAR ISLAND. COORDINATES: N:53 W:67"
"This must be how Lewis followed us" Brock said "53 North, 67 West? What's at those coordinates?"
"Let me check" Max said, taking out his poke-nav "Hmm, the volcano?"
"If their in the volcano, they must be in the Blaine's old gym" Brock said
"Wasn't that gym destroid during an eruption" May asked
Brock nodded "Okay, we now where they are! Max, go call the police!" Max nodded and ran inside

"Awgh" Ash moaned, struggleing to open his eyes, everything looked like a big grey blob
"Hey, wake up already!" he heard a familiar voice say
"Augh, Gary is that you?" he asked, rubbing his eyes
"Morning" Gary said
"Augh. Where are we?" Ash asked, seeing that they were inside a cage
"I have no clue" Gary said "One of the Cipher guys grabbed Nubtup just after I woke up"
"What happened?" Ash asked, his memory slightly fuzzy
"We got drugged" Gary said, rubbing his arm where he got injected they heard some footsteps
"Well, at least the pikachu awake" said the man, unlocking the cage and grabbing Gary
"Hey let him go!" Ash yelled, trying to use a thunder attack. Unfortunately, his vision got blurry and he fell to his stomach, too tired to move
"Tsk tsk tsk" the man said, shaking his head "Your friend forgot to tell that the sedative makes extremely drowsy when you try to use an attack?" his head still slightly fuzzy, Ash nodded as the man smirked, slamming the cage door shut, taking Gary with him
"Gary..." Ash said, half-asleep, all he could do is lay there for the next five minutes until a woman came and took out of the cage
"Well, your next" she said, taking Ash through the base, he looked around the place, though most of the doors where closed, so he mostly saw stein-less steel halls. One door was open, inside was a large glass cylinder, pumps and what appeared to be a generator, he expected there to be a large pokemon inside, but instead there was a pale, black haired boy wearing a green hoodie and black jeans sitting inside
"Why is he in there?" Ash thought as they entered another room. No metal walls inside instead what looked like the inside of a cave with carvings similar to the one he saw in the unown ruin
"Here you go" the woman said, placing Ash on a carved circle, all his insticnts told him to run but he knew that he couldn't do that if he couldn't as much stand up a few minutes ago, instead he looked around, he saw Gary and Nubtup in circles iddentical to his he looked up ahead
"No" he mumbled, standing in front of large stone doors, holding a black book was Lewis
"Hello old friend" Lewis said, opening the book "you ready to begin?"
