I do not own Hetalia or Animorphs. I'm not that creative.

Axis Powers: Hetalia is the brainchild of Hidekazu Himaruya, and Animorphs belongs to Katherine Applegate.

Hello people! I'm back after so long! Sorry for neglecting this story, I kind of lost Hetalia feels :'( And I got too lazy to rewrite it so you guys can continue reading this highly illogical crap HAHAHA. The good news is I actually wrote over 20 chapters along this vein (though that was like... a few years ago. I cringed a little re-reading it) so I can update more frequently! :)

Thank you to everyone who reviewed despite my long absence! Love you guys!

Okay, here are review responses I prepared years ago and never posted.

Review responses! Thank you so much for the reviews. My heart skipped a beat when I saw them. ;w;

1. Haha! Cassie used a humpback whale in book 22 as well. I had planned to add Animorphs into the story - even wrote out chapters and all already. But I ended up back at square one because I didn't want to have too many characters (these eight main characters are already killing me. OTL). If you smash America with a killer whale, he might die. 8'D I don't want him to die! XD

2. Yep, those are Animorph book titles. It's pretty ironic that the last book would be called "The Beginning", isn't it? *SPOILER* I guess it's because it's the beginning of a new life for them. Anyway, don't worry about the multiple replies. Seeing numerous new reviews makes me so happy!

3. Oh, this is kind of an AU. The countries act pretty much like normal humans in here, albeit a little tougher than humans.

Russia stared stonily at Belarus. She had tied his scarf around her waist like a sash, and now she stood up. "Big brother, we should go."

"Do... Do you think the people in the room are dead?" Russia absolutely had to know.

Belarus' eyes were cold. "It doesn't matter. They tried to hurt you, they deserved everything they got."

Russia's eyelids lowered. "You're right, we don't want people who can't play nice, right? Okay, let's continue whatever we were supposed to do. Acquire animals," he added, before Belarus could respond with "marry me".

They left the room. It turned out that the place was a small cabin tucked in some obscure corner of the zoo. There were other rooms nearby, and a glimpse through the windows revealed that there were people sitting at their desks, typing away on computers.

"It's a beautiful day out," Russia commented.

"Yes," Belarus agreed.

They walked in awkward silence for a while. Neither knew what to say to the other.

"It's getting late, would you like a drink?" Russia offered, shattering the almost-suffocating silence.

"I would love one," Belarus responded curtly. "Thank you."

They made their way over to what seemed like a bar. "Two vodkas, please," Russia told the bartender as he sat down. Belarus hopped up on the bar-stool next to him.

"Did you hear? Apparently there's a spaceship on the field!"

"Really? Did anyone investigate it?"

"I don't know about that. You know what this means? There could be an alien invasion!"

Belarus' head swivelled to glare at the people who spoke, but her glare went unnoticed. The two men continued to chat casually.

"Alien invasion, hmm. It could only mean two things: Tony's friends are here, or more Yeerks are here," Russia mumbled, his chin cupped in his hands and his elbows on the bar-counter.

"I want to investigate this spaceship," Belarus demanded.

"We know it's on a field," Russia stated, reaching into his coat pocket to retrieve his map. He lay it out on the bar-top and squinted at it in the dim light. "I believe we're at Pub and Go at the moment." His index finger slid across the map to point out their location. "The field must be this one." He used his pinky finger to press down on a vast patch of green. "Not too far, da?"

"... Da," Belarus concurred.

Their drinks arrived, and Russia kept his map once again. Each of them snatched up the bottle of vodka and took a huge swig.

"This is good vodka," Russia praised.

Belarus had to agree. It was comparable even to her big brother's home-brewed vodka. It revitalised her. Belarus could feel the sting of her bullet wound beginning to close up.

They were in a much better mood upon leaving the store.

"We're going to investigate the spaceship, right?" Belarus pressed.

Russia smiled. "Yes. If there are really aliens, I would like to invite them to become one with me."

"Well, you're welcome to tell that to the Yeerks," Belarus teased.

Russia gave her a friendly shove. "Hey! Not them!"

They continued along the path to the field. The murmurs of a spaceship sighting were becoming more ubiquitous as they came closer to their destination.

A huge crowd had gathered at the end of the road, blocking their way, and all their attention was riveted on a large spaceship looming above them.

"Out of the way!" Belarus hollered, elbowing people aside rudely. Russia didn't even need to shove anyone; people naturally skittered out of his way as he came through. Then they were at the front of the crowd, and all they saw was...

Nothing.

There was nothing at all besides the spaceship. The door to the spacecraft was open, though.

Belarus turned to Russia. "Big brother, let's go in."

"What if it's a trap? What if once you set foot inside, a Controller grabs you and forces a Yeerk into your ear?" Russia contemplated.

She hadn't thought about that. "If that's the case, they're being really daring," Belarus remarked. "Only about an tenth of the people on Earth are Controllers so far, and if the humans find out about the existence of Yeerks, they could easily defeat the Yeerks by virtue of their greater numbers."

"That makes sense. The Yeerks wouldn't be so direct. Alright, let's go in!" Russia beamed.

Belarus was taken aback, but pleasantly so. She took her brother's hand and pulled him towards the spacecraft.

"Hey, wait! It's dangerous!" someone in the crowd shouted.

"We were born for danger," Belarus called back with fire in her eyes. Russia flashed the crowd a smile.

In that instant, the crowd had no doubt that whoever these people were, they could handle anything thrown at them.

- Hetanimorphs -

"Big brother, could you give me a little push?" Belarus' hands were gripping the side of the open door, but she didn't have enough strength to hoist herself up. Her head only just touched the base of the spaceship.

Russia, on the other hand, had to crouch. And so he bent even lower to wrap two large arms around Belarus' ankles. "Ready, one, two, go!"

Her arm muscles strained as her body was pushed up, and then she could see the inside of the spacecraft. The sight terrified her, though she would never openly admit it.

Blood coated the floor of the spaceship. A few bisons, an elephant, a cheetah and something which stank to high heavens were prancing about. Other humans, some whom were countries, and some whom she'd never seen, were attacking the animals furiously.

Belarus leaned forward, and one leg shot up to get a footing on the floor. Russia's soft, warm hands loosened from around her ankles. She had no time to mourn his touch, though, as someone backed into her.

Belarus' first instinct was to defend herself, so she struck the guy. He stumbled forward, and gave a bloodcurdling scream.

Russia had pulled himself up into the spacecraft. His blood ran cold - colder than it usually was. That wasn't the scream of a nation.

It was a human scream.

The guy had been impaled on a tusk. His body hung loosely, and fresh blood blossomed from his chest. The tusk stuck out through the back of his torso.

Ukraine was frozen. She never had the intention to kill the human Controller. All she wanted was to push him towards the door. At the worst, he might sprain his ankle as he fell. She didn't want to hurt an innocent human. But now she had done worse than simply hurt him.

She had taken his life.

The Controller was facing her. Tears had filled in his now-dead eyes, and his mouth was open in a scream. Ukraine knew he hadn't been a Controller in his last few seconds of life. He had been himself. The cowardly Yeerk had withdrawn control of the human's brain as he died.

*Please, take him off!* Ukraine wept. Then she caught sight of Belarus and Russia.

*Take him off!* she repeated, now conveying the message to Belarus and Russia as well. They looked stunned for a moment, and their eyes darted about.

*I'm the elephant,* Ukraine continued. *Take the dead man off, take him off!*

Belarus reacted first. She seized the man's legs and stepped backwards. The body slid off the tusk and crashed, face-first, onto the floor. A grey lump fell out of the man's ear, and Belarus stomped on it.

"Big sister..." Belarus' voiced wavered.

*Belarus...* Ukraine answered, her voice sounding like there was a huge lump in her throat.

The three Baltics were still in the heart of battle. They might've seen Ukraine just stab an innocent man, or they might've not. Either way, they had to make sure all the Controllers were out of the way first.

Russia growled and threw himself into the throng of animals and injured bodies. He punched America, who had managed to climb on Latvia's back, and sent America flying towards Tony. Tony's teeth clamped down ruthlessly on America's thigh. They were being extra-careful with them. They didn't want to kill them.

Tony continued gnawing on America's thigh. The more severely injured he was, the longer it would take for him to recover. It bought them more time to settle the other Controllers.

Poland was in a corner, and his form was changing. He was morphing. Japan stood in front of him, his katana slicing Tony's friend into pieces. Tony's friend just kept reforming and advancing, though.

*Don't let Poland morph!* someone shrieked.

"Why? Poland's one of us," Belarus fired back.

*No! He's a traitor! He's actually a Controller!*

Belarus recognised Lithuania's anguished bellow, and her heart hardened. Stupid Lithuania. If it hadn't been for him and his stupid affection to Poland, maybe none of them would've gotten into this mess.

Still, it was too late to start pinning the blame on others. Belarus dropped back through the door, landing clumsily on the grass, and began her morph right away. A jaguar.

As her features melted away, she could hear the crowd around the spaceship screaming. Screw them. They were useless, they couldn't help in their cause at all.

Her heart changed. Blood pumped fast in her veins, and she felt the exhilarating rush of adrenaline. Her consciousness was taken over by the jaguar's mind. The jaguar was calm and collected. He knew that nothing could possibly stand in his way.

Belarus sprang back into the spaceship, accompanied by the astonished cries of the spectators. The jaguar had superb eyesight. She could see every slight movement made by the Controllers, and her reflexes were much faster than before.

She looked for Poland. England had joined Japan, and both of them were trying to fend Russia and Tony's friend off. Russia hadn't morphed at all. Belarus swooned. Russia was so cool.

Poland looked like an enlarged half-human, half-bison. He obviously wasn't good at morphing with grace. Belarus bounded over, knocking Germany down when he tried to swing his whip at her. Then her hind muscles bunched up as she prepared to leap.

Everything started to slow down. Belarus retracted her forelimbs to prevent clawing Russia, and though Japan swung his katana at her, he was too slow. Belarus landed on the deformed Poland's back and bit down on his skull.

The resulting crack and wail pierced right through Belarus' ear, into her mind. Her mouth tasted blood. It felt different. It no longer had that bitter, metallic taste to it. Maybe this is what vampires taste, she joked inwardly.

Something squirmed in the recesses of Poland's cracked skull. Belarus eyed it. It was grey and oozing a type of blackish liquid. Then it disappeared from sight.

Poland screamed. He kept screaming. Everyone in the room paused to look at him. His tears overflowed out of his eyes, creating small rivulets down his cheeks, and his nose was runny. On top of all that, he was still half-morphed. Poland had never looked so... Un-fabulous.

Belarus froze, perched on top of him. She knew she had to find some way to stop Poland before he could cause any real damage, but she couldn't bring herself to do it.

Finally, Poland stopped screaming. A grey slug sat at the edge of his ear canal. He yanked it out, and he squeezed it so hard it starting dripping more black liquid. So that's a Yeerk's blood, Belarus thought.

*Welcome back to us, Poland.* Belarus couldn't help but feel spiteful. She knew the real Poland had no intention of ever betraying them, but... She still felt annoyed. Was this also another of the Yeerks' schemes? To stir discord among all the humans?

Poland blinked at her through half-formed eyes. It took the shape of the bison's eyes, but they were still a striking green. Without a word, he continued the morph.

*Poland's back?* Ukraine asked.

*That's what I said— wait, you can hear my thoughts?*

*Let me sum this up real quick. You can communicate to each other by sending each other mental messages. It's like telepathy. We can also limit who will receive our messages, but that'll be something to look into some other time.* The speaker sounded like Estonia.

*That wasn't summarised at all! But thanks,* Belarus replied.

England and Japan must've realised that they'd just lost one of their kind, and they turned on Poland. Belarus swatted Japan's katana away a few times. She had no idea what England was there for. He had no weapons, he was practically useless.

Russia had seen everything that went on behind the Controllers, and he understood. Poland's Yeerk had gotten injured when Belarus delivered that crushing bite to his cranium, and he had tried to escape. But Yeerks couldn't move fast in their natural form. They were blind, mute and almost deaf. The Yeerks were totally helpless in their natural form. Russia could almost sympathise with them for wanting to take over other bodies. No one wanted to live such an existence.

Still, it was survival of the fittest. Kill or be killed.

Russia wrapped his strong arms around England's neck and started dragging him away. England choked and scratched feebly at Russia's arm, then he shouted something unusual.

"Flying mint bunny!"

*What the hell?* Belarus scowled, but Russia was suddenly snatched up by some unseen force, and flung across the spacecraft. He had dropped England when he was suspended in the air, and now England turned towards Belarus, both his palms facing her. He started to chant ominously.

*You're ridiculous!* Belarus snapped, deflecting yet another blow from Japan's katana. Poland was really a burden. Her paws and pelt were now bloody from taking so many hits on Poland's behalf.

Poland had finished morphing, and he squeezed through the narrow gap between Belarus and the wall to get out.

*Rude,* Belarus complained. *I'm all cut up and I don't even get thanks.*

*Like, thanks,* Poland replied insincerely. *Liet!*

"You called for me?" Russia appeared behind England, his eyes wild.

"No! I was summon—" England didn't finish his sentence. Russia grabbed his leg, and twisted it obscenely. England crumpled to the ground like a puppet whose strings just got cut.

Belarus wasn't sure which side was winning. It seemed to be an endless battle of who could get up faster. She darted forward and clamped her jaws down on Japan's wrist. Japan cried out and dropped his katana.

Latvia suddenly uttered a very rude word.

*Latvia!* both Lithuania and Estonia chided.

*I'm not a child!* Latvia retorted. *What time is it?*

*I completely forgot about the time limit!* Lithuania whimpered.

"It's five-thirty," Russia supplied. He punched England every time England tried to get up.

*What time did we get into morph?* Estonia asked.

"Three-thirty four." Tony stepped out from a hidden crevice, now his usual grey alien form once more.

*Hey, you morphed out!* Ukraine stated the obvious, before wrapping her trunk around Germany and crushing the air out of his lungs.

"Yeah, because I morphed earlier than you did. My time was up."

*That m-means our time will be up s-soon, too!* Latvia bawled.

Sorry for ending off this chapter abruptly. There weren't any suitable places to end it off without making this chapter stretch till 4000 words long. I apologise for any OOC behaviour.

Also, my friend and I wrote a story together! It's called 'Welcome To The Obsidian' on Wattpad. Do check it out if you like horror/suspense stories :D (Pls don't kill me for doing this first thing after returning from MIAing for two years :()
