Sorry it's been so long since I updated this story. I have been busy with my new job, holidays, lack of motivation and orginal writing projects. In fact one project I worked on is an orginal animation pitch for Amazon Studios called Kovu. They are currently deciding if they want it or not, you can check it out on Amazon and read, rate, and comment on it if you want. I would be very thankful. Fallen Angel
"Suzaku, go into warrior mode," Layla said. Suzaku took the form of a flaming bird warrior with a blazing sword. Layla stuck her hand out. "Suzuka, take her down." Suzaku swooped upward toward the glowing white angel Lilim.
Lilim narrowed her eyes with a superior gaze in them. "You actually believe it's any better than the others. Let's test your theory." The Crime Spree angel cut down the flaming warrior in one blow. "See, no difference."
A fire shot out of the ground, engulfing Lilim in a pillar of flames. The angel of Crime Spree screamed out in agony. Lilim enclosed herself in her wings the block the remainder of the flames that shot at her. The sphere of wings moved out of the flames. The flames then transformed into a revived Suzaku in warrior mode.
Lilim unfolded her wings to reveal herself once again. A bright glow shined behind her. "So the phoenix king has a few more tricks than the others. It doesn't matter, I'll still destroy him." The Crime Spree angel flew forward.
Layal threw her hand forward. "Show her who the true ruler of the sky is." Suzuka flew straight for the self proclaim angel. The two clashed in mid-air with their swords. Sparks and fire flew off the blades. They flew back and crashed over and over again.
Layla then turned her attention over to Erza who had managed to get up on her hands and knees. The red haired wizard struggled to push herself back up onto her feet. "Erza," Layla said. "Can you use your Heaven's Wheel armor?"
Erza looked over at her friends' daughter. "Yes, this wound is nothing." With that Erza quickly requip into her Heaven Wheel's armor. She stood tall on her feet with a sword in both hands. "Do you have a plan?"
"I do, but I can't explain because of the spell that was cast on me," Layla stated. "All of you just have to trust me."
Lilim sliced Suzuka right down the middle. A smile graces her lips only to be wiped away when a pillar of flames rose in front of her. Suzuka came back, swinging his sword against Lilim's own that sent her flying back.
Layal then looked over at her brother. "Bolt, we'll need your celestial magic."
Sparks of lightning shot off of Bolt's body. A serious expression appeared on his face. "Whatever you're planning better work or we're all dead."
Layla nodded. "I know." The blond looked up at the fight between Lilim and Suzuka. "Alright, here we go." She requiped to have her shell body shield. She stuck it out with a blue spinning magic circle. "Crushing Wave shot!"
A burst of water shot out of the magic circle that created a giant wave. Suzuka flew up above the tidal wave as the water crashed into Lilim. Lilim sliced through the wave, splitting it in two.
Layla lean her head forward. "Do it now!"
Bolt drew out the star symbol of Leo. The star points all sparked with lightning. "Leo!" He snapped his fingers that shot out the lightning wave that went through the water, blasting Lilim with the boost of the water.
Lilim fell back with Suzuka coming down to swing his sword. Lilim blocked the attack with her own blade, struggling in mid-air with the king. Erza soared through the air and came down to clash her swords with the angel along with Suzuka to push Lilim further down.
"You can't defeat me that easily." Lilim broke the sword clash with her, Suzuka, and Erza. She spun through the air and kicked them both across the face that sent them both into the woods. Dust clouds flew up over the trees.
Lilim grinded her teeth together in frustration. "I need more blood." Her eyes turned toward the Thunder Legion. She smiled. "They'll do." She swooped down, flying over the glass that brushed the grass aside.
The Thunder Legion saw the S Class wizard coming. Each of them prepared to attack, but just like everyone else she was too fast for them. Three light slices went across them, cutting them down. The Legion fell to Bolt and Laxus' utter shock and anger.
The angel gently landed in front of them. She licked her lips as if she was about to gorge on a delioius meal. "There innocent blood should do nicely." As she reached out to the fallen wizards, Suzuka came through the trees to attack her.
Lilim blocked the attack. Suzuka managed to push her away from the Thunder Legion and the two continued their battle in the sky. Lilim quickly gained the upperhand, shooting Suzuka back. "I suppose I can't destroy you or you'll just regenerate again."
Suzuka stopped in mid-air. "That's right."
Lilim pointed her blade at the phoenix warrior. "Still I wonder how long you can stay in this world with that weak little girl's magic."
"She isn't weak," Suzuka proclaimed. "Allow me to show you the power she gives me."
Suzuka wildly swung his blade several times at Lilim that Lilim easily blocks.
Erza flew out of the trees and came down toward Lilim, swinging down both her swords. Lilim kicked back Suzuka then lifted her blade up to defend herself from Erza's attacks. She flipped around and kicked Erza away. She quickly went after the S class wizard and sliced her armor apart.
Erza collapsed to the ground flew up around her.
Lilim stood in mid air. "Silly fool."
"Heaven's Tower!" A tower of light shot out of the ground that blasted Lilim up into the air.
"Resounding through the air, the roar of the thunder, plunge from the heavens and reap destruction! Raging Bolt!" A powerful bolt of lightning came down from the sky and shocked the angel. Laxus leaned against a tree as he held out his fist, breathing heavily. One of his eyes was close. "That's what you get you freak. "
Lilim broke out of the double spells by flapping her wings back. "Let me show you real magic. Angel Explosion!" She flapped her wings forward that sent several feathers forward that aimed at the two lightning wizards. The feathers exploded right in front of them that sent them both flying.
Laxus and Bolt screamed.
Layla crossed her arms in front of her face as she stood her ground from the powerful blast. Grass blades blew back with several breaking out of the ground. "This isn't good. We still haven't done enough yet." Layla looked up at Lilim who's wings were now half black. The woman looked greatly frustrated.
"Is that all you got?" Lilim questioned. "Patheic." Half of her face once lovely face was in a black ink like substance. She bit down on her teeth.
Erza got up on one knee, glaring up at Lilim. "We'll show you our power." The armor warrior changed into her flight armor.
"Erzaa, wait."
"Hmm?" Erza looked over at Laya. "Wait? Why?"
"Because you can't do anything else," Layla stated. "Allow me and Suzuka to handle this." She threw out her arm with Suzuka, rushing forward.
Lilim cut the flaming warrior down. A pillar of flames rose in front of her that Lilim cut down the middle. "Come back all you want I cut you down every time." Lilim became more and more made as more of her wings became blacker.
Layla looked over at her brother that was barely sitting up. "Can you still fight?"
"Like I go down that easily."
"Good, I need you and dad to use your lightning again, same as before ok?"
Bolt looked over at his sister. "Are you sure this is going to work?"
"You just have to trust me."
Bolt placed his hand on his knee and picked himself up. "Alright then." He slammed his hand down and twisted his palm to the right. "Heaven's Shower!" Streams of lightning shot out of the sky toward Crime Spree's angel as Laxus performed another Raging Bolt.
"Open Gate of the Lion, Loke!" The voice got the attention of the blondes who all turned to see Lucy pull out a key. Loke appeared soon after.
"Lucy, don't push yourself," Laxus said.
Bolt held his fist up to his stomach. "Yeah, he's right. Just stay still."
Lucy held her wound. "I can't I have to help too."
"Yeah, that's what I'm talking about." Natsu slowly lifted himself back onto his feet along with Gray.
More and more blackness grew on Lilim as she continued to cut down Suzuka over and over again. Lilim's entire body became black. She screamed. Her head flew back as her wings stretched out while Lilim screamed out in agony that grabbed everyone's attention.
Flames consumed Lilim as she fell back. She crashed to the ground like a comet and upon hitting the ground she burned away. She reached out her hand as she disappeared. "How dare you, how dare you make me fall." She dropped her hand before she completely disappeared.
"Fall?" Natsu questioned. "What does that mean?"
Layla's entire body trembled as she didn't look at anyone. "I didn't have a choice. The only way to win was to make her fall."
Natsu leaned forward. "What does that mean?"
