I was thinking after I finish this story about doing a separate story about how Laxus and Lucy raised Bolt and Layla to become the people they are now. Please let me know what you think about the idea and what you think of this new chapter. Thank you to those who review this.
Alliance
Team Natsu all stared in horror as they saw Layla lay lifeless on the ground. The gloves she had tried to give Natsu were on the ground beside the future daughter of Lucy. Layla's body became transparent.
Dix threw his head back laughing while he rested his hands on his waist. "So much for her. In five minutes she'll be gone forever."
"Like hell she is!" Lightning flashed across the sky. Dix was then kicked in the back that sent the man flying by a strike of lightning. The body of lightning took the form of a human being. The human being held two other beings under his arms as he spun around from the kick it just landed.
The person just landed still covered in lightning. The person stared straight at Natsu with its glowing red eyes. "Nat-su." Natsu stared straight at the being. The lightning being let go of one of the beings he was holding before he punched the dragon slayer straight in the face. Natsu crashed straight to the ground.
"Natsu," Wendy said worried. The young dragon slayer wiggled around under the arm of the lightning being.
"Forget about him," Bolt replied. He looked down at Wendy who was under his arm. "See what you can do to save my sister." He let the young girl down.
"Right." Wendy ran toward the fading Layla. She dropped down to her knees and placed her hands just above the girl, performing her sky healing magic.
Dix pushed himself back up on his feet, looking back at the lightning wizard. "You…how are you not disappearing like your worthless sister." A large boot that was on Bolt's right foot disappeared. "A magical boot, huh?"
"I used it to boost my power, didn't know a power like yours existed," Bolt declared.
"How did you know to come here?" Erza asked.
Bolt kept his eyes trained on Dix. "Like I trust my sister and mother's safety to you four idiots."
"Hey," Happy spoked offended.
"I placed a special tracer on them both in case they ran into any powerful members of Crime Spree so I could help," Bolt finished answering the questioned. Bolt shifted his eyes toward Wendy who was busy healing his sister. "On my way out I saw Wendy and decided to bring her with me after what happened last time. Looks like I made the right choice."
Layla stopped fading away and the color to her skin started to come back, but she still wasn't out of the woods yet.
Dix stood tall across from Bolt. "So you brought a healer to counteract my magic. Smart, but it won't help you survive this."
Bolt smiled boldly. "I'm not the only one who came."
"Roar of the Iron Dragon!"
"Wings of Love!"
"Solid Script: Fire!"
"Jolt of Fate!"
"Evil Explosion!"
The combination of attacks formed together and slammed into Dix from above. An explosion went off and created a cloud of smoke around the S class wizard. Gray looked back behind him to spot the fellow members of his guild. "Juvia."
"Gajeel," Natsu said.
"Levy, Cana," Lucy spoke.
"Mirajane," Erza stated.
The cloud of dust faded away to reveal Dix was perfectly fine. "Is that really all you brought?"
"Fairy Canon!"
"Dark Ecriture: Pain!"
"Baryon Formation!"
"Thunder Bullets!"
The four attacks fused together like the pervious assault and smashed into Dix. The smoke cleared with no new damage done to the wizard.
"Lucy, are you alright?" Lucy heard the rough voice of her boyfriend. She looked up to see a corcern Laxus and Thunder Legion behind Dix.
Bolt looked over at his father. "Took you long enough, old man."
"Get off my back I was on a mission when you called us," Laxus said.
"So many faries all in one place." A smile graced Dix's face as his eyes were covered by the shadows of his hair. "I couldn't ask for a more perfect situation. LET'S START! LADIES FIRST!" Dix broke the ground breneth him, launching into the air.
He flew toward the Thunder Legion, stretching his hand out. Evergreen saw him coming, but didn't have enough time to react. Dix slammed his hand into the woman's chest that sent her chrashing to the ground.
"Ever!" her team shouted out.
Dix smiled down at the fading wizard. "So what will you do Fairy Tail? You only have one healer."
Laxus looked toward the sky dragon slayer. "Wendy, Evergreen needs your help!"
Wendy looked up at the older dragon slayer. "I can't. Layla still isn't out of the words yet."
Laxus' eyes shook. His heart felt like it was splitting in two; he of course didn't want anything to happen to his future daughter, but he also didn't want to lose his friend as well.
A cold chill filled the area. "Ice Make: Dragon!" An ice dragon charged at Dix from the side that Dix broke with his fist. He looked over to see Lyon. The Ice Make wizard leaped over to the side to reveal Sting and Rouge behind him in their dragon force forms.
Each of them held back a giant ball of magical power. "Holy Shadow Dragon's Flash Fang!" The two powers combined and became small. They then sent the blast forward in all its furry becoming a dark purplish blast that ripped through the ground. Dix simply crossed his arms over his front as the blast came toward him, pushing him back away from the other wizards although it didn't to any physical damage to him personal.
"Chelia," Lyon shouted.
Chelia ran out from behind the dragon slayers and past Lyon. "I'm on it." She dropped to her knees beside Evergreen and placed her hands over the Fairy wizard. She began to heal her so she would stabilize and not disappear.
Dix lowered his arms. "Two healers, huh? I'll just have to take them out first." Dix looked over to his side to spot Wendy. Since she was the cloest one to him now it only made sense to… "I'll just have to take them out first." He charged toward the young dragon slayer.
Erza and Gray jumped into the man's path. Erza swung the wind blade across, sending a twister at the man, capturing him in the spinning wind. Gray then held out the shell shield. "Ice Make: Freeze Lancer!" Gray shot even big ice lances into the twister that had them spinning around in the growing tornado.
Everyone watched as Erza and Gray held off the S Class wizard. "Are those the only things that can affect him?" Lyon questioned.
"If so then the rest of us are basically useless," Freed stated.
Dix broke Erza and Gray's combination assault with a wave of his disappearing magic. "You honesty like the two of you can beat me?"
"Then how about the three of us?!" Natsu shouted. The fire dragon slayer came down from out of the air behind the man. He swung his arms forward in a wave of flames. "Fire Dragon Wing Attack!" The falmes from his arms launched off.
Dix turned right toward the attack. "That attack won't work. Don't you remember the last time?" The flames crashed into the man, knocking him backward. The man let out a shout of pain. He crashed to the ground to everyone's surprise.
Natsu landed on the ground, holding up his fiery fist. The flames disappeared to reveal that the dragon slayer was wearing red fingerless gloves. A devious smile was on the pink hair wizard's face.
"Are those Layla's gloves?" Gray questioned.
The gloves that had been lying beside Layla were gone. "Now I'm all fired up." Natsu placed his hands around his mouth. "Roar of the Fire Dragon." Natsu blew a wave of fire from his mouth with the boost from the phoenix gloves as Dix started to get up. Dix was slammed hard by the attack, landing on his side.
Natsu leaped into the air. "Now to finish you off." Natsu set his fists ablaze ready to deliever a final blow to the S Class wizard.
"Natsu," Erza shouted.
"You can't touch him or you'll disappear," Gray reminded him.
"Oh, right."
Dix got up swinging his fist at the dragon slayer. Natsu bent backward to avoid the strike. He then flipped backward. He landed on his feet and slid backward. With Natsu now in his place he, Erza and Gray surrounded the wizard.
"Enough of these games!" Dix slammed his hand down on the ground. A white circle expanded out from under him. Three giant earth hands that had a white glow around them busted out of the ground and grabbed the three wizards he was fighting. Natsu, Gray and Erza screamed out in pain.
Erza struggled to break out, but felt completely drain. "What's happening?" One of her eyes had fallen shut.
"Just like my own body, these hands will make what they come into contact diappear," Dix explained. "You have five minutes. This is the end."
"Not yet," Erza declared.
"What can you do?"
Using all the strength the armor wizard had left, Erza threw the Tiger Blade into the air. "Mirajane!"
Mirajane who was still in her Satan Soul form flew into the air. "I got it." She caught the spinning blade.
"In that case, Juvia." Gray threw the shell shield back toward the water wizard who caught it with hearts in her eyes.
"My beloved gave me his weapon."
"Its Layla's weapon," Levy corrected the water mage.
"And if you don't want him to disappear you better start using it," Cana told her.
Juvia became serious. "Right."
"Here." Natsu ripped off the phoenix gloves with his teeth. He swung his head back, tossing them into the air. The gloves flew back toward the two blond dragon slayers. Both Laxus and Sting caught a glove and slipped it on.
"You can count on me, Natsu." Sting clapped his hands together and brought them back. Holy white flames form a sphere in his hands, spreading them apart. "Fire Holy Ray!" He shot off several flaming white rays from the sphere.
Dix jumped intot he air, avoiding the blast. Sting lifted up the remainder of the spell up to hit Dix a few times. Mirajane flew up to him and slash across his chest with his blade. "Demonic Wind Slash!" She sent the disappearing wizard flying back with a blade of wind that had him spinning through the air.
"You will free my beloved." Juvia stood below Dix who was still flying through the air. "Wings of Love!" A twister of water was unleashed from the shell. The powerful blast mad Dix spin vertically.
Laxus stuck out his hand with the phoenix glove and release a burst of fire and lightning that dropped Dix into a ground and made a crater.
Dix held up two fingers up from his hand. The spinning white magic circle expanded alittle further past the three hands. Four more hands grew out of the ground, grabbing Juvia, Sting and Mirajane. Juvia dropped the shell as she was snatched up.
The shell shield bounced off the ground and rolled. "I got it." Lyon ran toward the shield.
"I don't think so." Dix was down on one knee still holding up two fingers from his hand guiding his earth hands. Another hand grew out of the ground and captured Lyon. I'll get rid of all of you. Several more hands broke out of the ground, grabbing the Thunder Legion, Cana, Gajeel, Levy and all of the exceeds.
"Everyone will disappear." Dix sent several arms at Laxus. The shadows of the earth arms covered Laxus being as the lightning dragon slayer faced them head on. Sparks of lightning came off his body.
