Family Union

Lightning consumed Laxus's body, turning him into it. In his lighning body form he dodged the hands that were coming at him.

Bolt turned into light and did the same as his father. The remaining hands focused on the two Dreyar men, trying to grab them with no luck.

"Lucy."

Said wizard looked over to her side to see Sabertooth's celestial wizard running toward her. "Yukino, you're here too?"

"I couldn't keep up with everyone else, but I got here as soon as I could," Yukino explained. She looked up at her fading friends that were in the earth arms. "What's happening to everyone?"

"There disappearing because of the S class wizard's spell," Lucy explained. "And the only thing that can work on this guy are Layla's weapons."

Yukino saw said weapons lay down beside the earth hands that had grabbed their friends. There would be no way for either celestial wizard to get one of them without getting caught. The white hair girl looked at Lucy again. "Is there really nothing else we can do?"

"Everyone tried everything else," Lucy said.

"What about celestial magic?" Yukino questioned.

"Huh?" That was when the blond celestial wizard was hit with a realization. Layla and her own magic were very similar. Also maybe it was only magic that was apart of this world that was affected by the disappearing spell. It would explain why Layla would have no problem allowing the others to use her weapons as she would still have her whip that Lucy would later give her.

Lucy had been so scared by the situation that she couldn't bare to send any of her spirits out to be killed, but there was another way to use celestial magic. Lucy pulled herself up onto her feet and faced Yukino. "Let's give it a try."

Yukino nodded in agreement. The two celestial wizards interlock their hands together. The shut their eyes and placed their foreheads together. They began to recite: "Survey the heavens, open the heavens…" A golden light shined from underneath them.

Laxus avoided the earth hands as he looked for an opening to spot Dix. "Lightning Fire Dragon's Breakdown Fist!" Laxus threw his fist with the phoenix glove forward to send a giant lightning fire fist toward Dix.

Dix leaped into the air avoiding the strike. Bolt flew up above the Crime Spree wizard. He lifted both of his hands above his head. A sphere of lightning formed over his head that had jolts of lightning shoot off it. "Lightning Bolt!"

The young lightning wizard threw the burst of lightning down Dix who was still in the air. Dix looked up at the sight. "You've got to be kidding." He lifted his hand up and wiped the entire spell away with his magic. He then landed in the middle of the field.

Laxus and Bolt landed on either side of the disappearing wizard. Dix looked at them both. "This should be interesting. Let's see what you two got."

Sparks came off both Dreyar males. "Gladly."

Suddenly the world around them all changed to show spheres floating through space. Dix looked around in confusion. "What is this?"

Laxus instantly recognize the spell. He looked over in his girlfriend's direction. "Lucy…"

Dix faced in the direction of the two celestial wizards that continued to chant: "I am the ruler of the stars…Aspect become complete…Open thy malevolent gate."

Dix clenched down on his teeth. "I won't allow this." Dix stuck out his hand to send two earth hands toward the girls. Lightning bolts rain from the sky scattering the hands before they could reach the girls.

"If you want Lucy you're going to have to get through me first, pal," Laxus stated as he took up a fighting position. Sparks of electricty came off of his body.

"Why you-" Dix ended his threat halfway when he saw the girls were finishing their spell.

"Oh 88 stars of the heaven…Shine!" Lucy and Yukino threw their heads back and shouted as loud as they could. "Urano Metria!" The stars came colliding down and slammed into Dix, having him scream like made as he went flying back.

Dix slammed to the ground, causing a crater. Smoke rose up out of it. Laxus looked at the sight with his mouth agape and his eyes blinking in shock. "That worked?"
"So it wasn't just sis's king's magic that worked on him, celestial magic works as well," Bolt said.

Lucy and Yukino looked at the sight with joy. "We did it."

A hand reached up of the crater. "Damn celestial…WIZARDS!" An earth hand bust out of the ground and grabbed up Yukino. The white hair mage screamed. He girl started to fade away like the others who had partlices float off of them as they grew more transperant.

"Yukino!" Lucy reached her hand out for the other mage, but it had already been too late.

Dix stood up on one knee. "You're next." He sent another earth hand to attack Lucy. Lucy's eyes open wide as the hand came flying at her. Blonde hair flowed in front of the celestial wizard. Layla landed in front of her mother with her earth hammer. She slammed the hammer down that scatter the hand.

She then swung the weapon across that sent a hill side toward Dix. Dix held out his hand using his hand to rapidly destroy the growing hill side that was charging at him. Layla look looked back her mother to her mother's surprise.

"Layla."

"Mother we don't have much time we have to use our spell," Layla said.

"A spell that we created?" Lucy questioned. She looked back at Layla who sat on the edge of her bed at her apartment.

Layla nodded. "Yes, you and I came up with it. You said it would be our ace if we ever needed it. We never had a chance to use it, but now might be the time for it."

Lucy turned around to fully face her future daughter. "But are you sure that I can learn it? I mean its years before we even create this spell and I'm not sure I'm strong enough for this yet."

Layla stood up and walked up to her mother. The two looked directly into each others eyes as hey were the same height. "I know you can do it. You're the strongest celestial wizard that ever lived."

Lucy nodded. "Right." Layla put down her hammer and ran up to her mother. The two teen girls locked their hands together and placed their foreheads together. "The Zodaic that fill my heart…" All ten of Lucy's golden keys glowed and shook on her hip.

"…the Kings that surround my head," Layla recited. The tribal tattoos appeared on Layla's body. A golden magic circle expanded out from below them that slightly blew their hair up.

"Friends that have lighted our path shine…" Both Lucy and Layla's sliver keys glowed brightly and shook on their hips as well. "We ask you to open your gates and give us your aid."

Dix finished destroying the hill side that Layla sent at him. "I've had enough of these games." The entire sky glowed, getting Dix, Bolt and Laxus' attention. "What is this?"

"This is…" Laxus started to say.

Dix leaned forward. "You…enough of these ridiculous stars." Dix reached his hand out.

Lucy and Layla stuck out a set of their interlock hands. "Fall and descend to destroy evil." A magic circle for each of the four kings in each of the four directions along with each of the constellation that Lucy and Layla had a contract with glowed.

Lucy and Layla's bodies glowed and their hair and clothes lightly lifted up. Their eyes glowed with magic circles int hem as they looked at their target. "Mother, Daughter Union Raid: Heaven's Star Gate!"

A large golden beam shot down on Dix, consuming his being as it expanded out. The blast tore through the ground, destroying Dix's spell on the others freeing them. Heavy wind blew in every direction, making it hard for Bolt and Laxus to hold their ground. The other wizards beside Lucy and Layla flew back from the blast.

When the attack finish the light in the stars had faded away only leaving only the remaining constellations. Erza who stood on one knee had her sword stuck into the ground that supported her. "Incredible."

"Where did that come from?" Natsu questioned.

All those who had been fading away previously were once agains solid after the blast had hit Dix; however their magic had been greatly drain. Dix stood hunched over. His body had been badly burned in the assault, but he still stood. "Nice try, but I'm a different breed from Angel. I won't fall so easily." Dix took a step forward.

"Maybe, but you've been stripped of your disappear magic from your body," Bolt stated. The glow that Dix had around his body was completel y gone. "You've lost your protection."

"Sounds good to me," Natsu said. He managed to pull himself onto his knee. "Roar of the Fire Dragon!" Natsu shot his breath of fire.

"Roar of the Iron Dragon!"

"Roar of the White Dragon!"

"Roar of the Shadow Dragon!"

"Roar of the Sky Dragon!"

"Howl of the Sky God!"

"Roar of the Lightning Dragon!" Laxus shot out lightning from his mouth. Each of the different roars from the slayers came from different directions at Dix. Dix flicked two of his fingers up to have earth pillars rose up on all sides of him that blocked the attacks. The pillars scattered on impact with the attacks.

All the slayers besides Laxus collapsed after the attack, having used the last of their magic. "You don't stand a chance not against an S Class," Dix declared.

"We'll see about that," Bolt responded. A cocky smile appeared on the young Dreyar's face. "What do you say, old man? Ready for a family union raid?"

"Sure why not?"

Dix looked at the Dreyars. "What?"

Laxus lifted his fist into the air. Sparks of lightning came off of it.

Bolt shot his fist up into the air. Lightning sparked off of it.

Lucy and Layla kept their hands together and focused. "Rise like lightning…"

"How come you never told me about little ace of yours?" Bolt questioned. Lucy and Layla looked over to the door to see both Laxus and Bolt standing in the entrance with their arms folded.

"What are you guys doing here?" Layla asked annoyed.

Laxus smiled confidently. "Hey, that's no way to talk to your father now is it?"

Layla blushed, embarrassed. She looked down from her father. "No."

"So what's the idea of leaving us out anyway?" Laxus asked.

Layla looked up at her father and brother. "I'm sure mome came up with the idea because I was feeling insecure about my powers at the time." She balled up her fist. "But I know it could help us now, given our situation."

"Then why don't we mix things up?" Bolt said.

"Return to the heavens and destroy the darkness," Laxus, Lucy, Layla and Bolt all spoke the incantation. An orb field of lightning sparked to life around Dix as an orb of sphere of stars came into vision around him. "Roar with thunderous brilliance of the kings. Dreyar Family Union Raid: Lightning Star Rise!"

Golden white light and lightning spun around Dix in the shape of a star, acting as a violent tornado. Dix let out a horrorifed scream. The light and lightning shot up into the sky, illuminating the sky once more as Dix crashed down on his back with his braclet broken.

Dix faded away. "I don't believe it. I lost."

Lucy and Layla dropped down on their hands and knees, breathing heavy from the quick lost of magic.

Bolt smiled boldly. "Not bad, old man."

A cocky expression appeared on Laxus' face. "Oh, yeah-" The dragon slayer's face quickly turned to panic. "Bolt, watch out!"

"Huh?" Bolt suddenly felt a hand on his back.

A pair of lips reached Bolt's ear. "It's been too long, darling."

Bolt shifted his eyes back. "Myra."

Myra shot a dark purple blast into Bolt's back. The back of Bolt's clothing ripped apart as the blast cut through his skin. Bolt screamed out in pain as his eyes rolled up into the back of his head from the striking attack. Bolt fell forward and dropped on the ground.

"BOLT!" each of his family members screamed. Lucy and Layla tried to move, but their bodies wouldn't allow them.

Myra looked over at them. "Don't waste your strength. You must be tired from defeating an S Class like that."

"You!" Laxus stomped his foot down with lightning radiating off his body.

Myra faced Fairy Tail's future master. "Do you really think you can fight me, Laxus? No man can touch me." Laxus covered himself in lightning and charged at the A class wizard. "Look into my eyes." Her eyes glowed red.

Laxus quickly shut his eyes and used his other senses to locate his target. He slammed his lightning body straight into the woman, sending her flying. Myra flew through the air, but managed to catch herself and land on her feet. She slid back.

She wiped her mouth. "That's a first. Regradless, I've done what I came here for, to take care of Fairy Tail's ace, Bolt Dreyar. We will soon destroy you all; enjoy the time you have left legal guilds." Myra snapped her fingers to disappear in a magic circle.

Laxus opened his eyes and looked back at his son. "Bolt." He ran up to the collapsed boy and lifted him up. "Wendy, Chelia, please do something."

Both sky slayers however were still out cold from their lack of magic.
