Greeting Readers, I'm sorry to say this is the last you'll see of this story… or at least this version. I am going to completely re-write this story with new character names and powers, slight personality changes and other stuff too. But I thought I would at least put what I had of Chapter 13 up for you all. Sorry if I've disappointed some of you but this is what I wish to do to try and improve this story.

Chapter 13: Missing and failed Training

Tayla's POV

I watched as Sara played a game of 'Go Fish' with Tobi and Konan and sighed before looking down at my work, I was writing down all the ways I could train with my new abilities. Funny enough I couldn't come up with anything, so I asked the first person that looked bored "hey Kakuzu" the masked man glared at me, probably 'cause I interrupted him money counting but who cares "what's a fast and effective way to control an element?" I asked and inwardly grinned when his eyes widened a fraction "why are you asking me?" he asked, I sighed "because you can use all of them and you didn't look like you were doing anything important" I replied, I smiled innocently when his eye twitched at the 'doing nothing important' comment "what element?" he asked, I inwardly cheered "fire" I told him "but you were using mostly water techniques during your nightly training" he replied, I faltered and laughed nervously "you knew about that?" I asked, he looked at me "everyone knew about it, they just didn't bother to do anything about it" he told me "so it was it bothering you guys?" I asked, he shook his head "not really, why do you ask?"

"Well you said that no one bothered to do anything about it, that usually means that it was a problem yet no one did anything" I explained to him, he shook his head again "no it was fine, just no one really wanted to interrupt you" he explained, I blinked in realization "oh okay, anyway the reason I used water is cause I had a really good thing going with it but when Chi awakened the demon inside me, it turned out her affinity was fire, so I kinda have to learn how to use it whether I want to or not" I explained, he nodded "I see-"

He was cut off when Sara's phone went off, I rolled my eyes as she answered with a cheery voice "idiot" I muttered with a smile and was about to go back to my conversation when Sara screamed "what?! What are you talking about?! How?!" I stood up as everyone in the room looked at Sara who had gone white "Sara..? What's wrong?" I asked, she looked at me her hands shaking "Nii-chan…" she said, my eyes widened, I snatched the phone away from her and put it to my ear "hello?"

"Tayla" I recognized the voice "Georgia? What's happened to Tamara?" I asked keeping calm as Sara shook beside me "Tayla… Tamara had gone missing…" I froze, hearing Georgia call my name but ignoring her missing..? But how? She was in the hospital, wasn't she? A thousand questions ran through my mind but I took a deep breath "Georgia, what do you mean by missing? Explain the whole situation to me" I ordered and sat down grabbing my pencil and pad "well after I picked up Momo after lunch we went back to the hospital to find out that Tamara had checked herself out-"

"But she was still injured right? Why would she check herself out if she's hurt… right stupid question, was anyone with here?" I asked as I scribbled down the info, ignoring the looks from the Akatsuki members and Sara.

"Yes, the nurse said their was a man in a brown kimono with weird ears on his head" Georgia answered "'a man in a brown kimono with weird ears on his head'? That sounds familiar" I commented "it sounds like Chi" Sayu suggested appearing beside me, her two tails swishing back and forth "I'd say so" Koro agreed also appearing, I rolled my eyes and relayed the suggestion to Georgia who agreed "that's what we all figured, anyway after that there was a couple of people who saw her walking down the street and I just found someone a little while ago who saw Chi grab Tamara and then they both vanished. And know I can't sense Tamara or Chi anywhere in Konoha or around it" she explained "w-wait, Chi grabbed Tamara and they vanished and you can't find or sense them in or around Konoha, right?" I asked as I wrote the info down "maybe he finally had enough of her" Koro suggested, I glared at him while Sara hit him "how dare you say that?!" she exclaimed "hey I was just saying, it's common knowledge between us that Chi hates humans" Koro said trying to defend himself "that may be true but that human is taking care of Chi's daughter, if he killed her no one could take care of her" Sayu countered, Koro blinked in surprise "oh your right… no wait, he could just ask Uta to look after her" he replied, I slammed my free hand on the table and turned around "one more word about that and I will kill you both" I threatened letting go of my murderous aura just to stun them into silence "now Georgia, where's Momo?" I asked, I heard Georgia sigh "she's at the house, she doesn't know yet" she told me, I grinned "that's great" I said "it is?" Georgia asked as I scribbled down Momo's name and where she was "well you both know that they care for Momo, so… one of them will show up sooner or later if she's still at the house" I explained "oh I get it now, I'll keep an eye out for them then, they'll have to turn up together because our demon shadows can't go any more than 30 meters away from us" Georgia explained "really?" I wondered and looked at the two demons that were conversing with each other "okay then call if you have any more info" I told her, Georgia agreed then hung up after saying her goodbyes. I handed Sara her phone back and picked up my notepad "sorry Kakuzu, I'll ask you again some other time" I told him then left, Sara not far behind "do you think she's alright?" Sara asked not so shaken up anymore "of course, this is Tamara we're talking about, she's most likely training" I told her "hmm, that is a possibility" Sayu commented appearing next to me "oh he didn't kill her then?" I asked sarcastically "no probably not" Koro replied also appearing, I rolled my eyes then walked a bit quicker trying to ignore them.

Later that night I got a text from Georgia "there was a note left on the table that Jess found, it said 'be back soon, please watch Momo' Jess nearly threw a hissy fit before she stormed out to train, I wish Tam had stayed to talk to us" sighing I put the phone on my bed before changing into my pj's.

Looking over at Sara, who was chatting to Koro, I let her know I was heading for bed before doing so.

Tamara glared across at the demon standing on the other side of the field "I can't believe you! Why didn't you let me talk to Georgia or Jess?! They're going to be bloody worried about me! And what was with that note? 'Be back soon'? You could've put more, or any, infomation on it! -" she was cut off from her rant when Chi appeared in front of her "are you done? Look, this is secret training, meaning no one knows about it and it finishes when I say so, got it?" he told her, Tamara glared at him but it was a weak glare because she was worried and scared which Chi could tell because of her now dark blue eyes "are you scared? Good because you are going to be facing a lot of fears in this training" he said with a sad smile "I hope you can overcome it" he whispered as he turned away and began the illusion that would be their training.
